Fantastic experience: It was a great experience all around. I have gone to a few dentists since moving to Seneca, SC from State College, PA and they seem to have the most up to date EMR. They can accept two different insurances and easily bill them both after one denies certain coverages.

Positive experience: This was my first visit to your office. I originally made an appointment for repair of a broken tooth. Somehow wires were crossed and I initially had only been there for an initial visit and cleaning. Fortunately, There was a dentist available to fix my tooth. I appreciate the effort to fix the problem and everyone in the office was both professional and courteous.

Fantastic experience: I met with Dr. Wird to discuss an appliance to potentially replace my CPAP machine. He recommended an appliance and discussed the pros and cons. It is really an augmentation and not a replacement as it opens the airway but does not supplement air flow like the CPAP does. He said people who travel finde it useful on trips. I've set up a future appointment to gibe it a try.

I feared going to the dentist due to previous history at other places growing up but I decided to make an appointment here to give it a try. The staff really treats patients as family. They explained the process from top to bottom, providing comprehensive explanations of the dental procedures & made sure I understood the financial aspects of treatment. I came in for a checkup due to pain & they ended up fixing the issue that same day. Seneca Family Dentistry’s exceptional patient care has eliminated my fear of dental visits, and I encourage others to consider this practice for their dental checkups.

Negative experience: Horrible experience with this dentist. 1 of the 2 crowns I had done HURT AND was/is very unattractive from the first day until presently. I went back and complained and also called Dr. Word refused to do anything about it. It has caused me great discomfort for years. Have gotten validation elsewhere (it can also be seen in x ray and felt inside my mouth) but will have to pay all over again to try to correct this disfigured crown. Am finally looking into it presently. Beware! I reiterate: I was told he would do nothing about it. The other crown was/is fine.

Negative experience: Not very good. I've been a patient SINCE the very beginning w no issues UNTIL... I suffered memorial week with throbbing tooth pain ON BOTTOM GUM. Went to dentist to obtain relief. Dentist seemed rushed to get me on my way after seeing some upper infection in back molars/crown PRESCRIBED penicillin & suggested root canal & referred to endodontic. Said my bottom cuspid pain which was the excruciatingly one may be caused by upper pain..I had no pain on top. Said he saw little gum recession in the area of severe pain & could seal it but didn't. I suffered with toothache pain for several days later..better but still not right. My bortom crown is very sore next to throbbing tooth - I'm stumped - had complained during 6 months cleaning of this very tooth bothering me off & on but x-rays show nothing BUT THE PAIN IS REAL. Disgruntled right now

Fantastic experience: The office was clean, they had good music playing. Everyone I saw was happy to be at work. My last dental experience before this office was terrible. Which lead me to procrastinating a fully grown in wisdom tooth that then became mostly cavity. I went a long time working in pain. The assistant and Mr. Word to great care of me. They worked together like fluid, which was calming to me. Before I knew it they had the tooth out, I was reassured about the process by the assistant as Mr. Word worked. A truly pleasant experience for having a tooth ripped out of my mouth.

Negative experience: I never leave reviews but this office needs it. The priciest absolute worst dentist office I’ve ever been to. The work I received on my teeth was horrific as one of my crowns fell off a month after it was on. Cocky arrogant for nothing most impolite staff I’ve ever witnessed. I moved and requested X-rays and they were never sent. I asked the secretary what type of implant screws they used so my new Dr. knows and they said No !!! Denying me my medical/dental records after paying for the service. Lastly after it was all said and done told me I owed 1801.00 dollars after it was paid off. I do not recommend this place at all - Sam

Fantastic experience: I had a 40 year old crown that had come loose and I searched all over Seneca with several Dental places for someone that could re-cement it back in for me. Not one could get me in for at least 1 or 2 weeks. I found Seneca Family Dentistry and they took me in that same day. Their staff is awesome. Up front the ladies got me checked in quickly and Nicole, the Dental Assistant was very courteous and did an awesome job getting me x-rayed and taken care of before and after the procedure. DR. Craig who was also very professional, courteous and quick with getting my crown put back in. I am very pleased with the service I received and would highly recommend their practice to anyone. Positive experience: I’m a long time patient here. Front office Staff are consistent, courteous, and efficient however the hygienist staff seems to be different or changing with each visit. My Hygienist Betty did not introduce herself, acted as though she was in a hurry or behind schedule. She didn’t inform me of the service she was providing and as the cleaning continued, it became increasingly uncomfortable as did the x-ray process. My visits here have always been good positive experiences but sadly this one wasn’t.

The check-in process was seamless and there was no wait. The hygienist was one of the best, most professional, thorough hygienist. The dental equipment is state of the art with new technology. Negative experience: Went to my appointment on time and waited 20 minutes. Was told my appt. was cancelled since there was only one dentist that day and he needed to go to lunch. Reception suggested I reschedule. Never!

They were also accommodating me to get it done before my scheduled trip.
