Fantastic experience: Totally impressed with this office! Professionalism and kindness beyond belief! Always so helpful and answer my questions thoroughly.

Fantastic experience: DR STEIN AND STAFF ARE THE ABSOLUTE BEST. I came in with an urgent issue (lost filling and tooth pain)—and the receptionist was so sympathetic, and scheduled me in within the week. I expressed some anxiety with dental procedures, and the Doctor and assistants went out of their way to keep me comfortable through a root canal procedure. So thankful I was able to get in right before the holiday—and they advised me to a savings plan they offer for patients without dental insurance. THANK YOU FOR YOUR CARE, DOTHV!!!

Fantastic experience: It’s just the beginning, but so far front desk was polite and timely. Dr Stein was direct and clear on what my options were pertaining to procedures needing to be done and what types of dentures I would need. Next step is anesthesia consult.Appointment already set…..updated the whole procedure was done with care and consideration…. Love all staff

Negative experience: Terrible office. I went in February 2025 to establish care, and I had a cleaning. That wasn’t too bad. I scheduled my 6 month appointment for August and fast forward to the day before when they called me and told me they had to cancel because my hygienist “wasn’t available.” The soonest they could get me in was early 2026 and I told them that’s not acceptable since I have multiple teeth that are bothering me and they’re the ones that cancelled my appointment so they should get me in sooner. They told me November 4 at 9:30am. Well, November rolls around and they call me again, the day before, with an “I’m sorry but your hygienist isn’t available for your appointment tomorrow. We have to cancel.” I told them this is the second time with the same excuse and I expect to get in asap since it’s now been 9 months since my initial appointment and I have teeth that are bothering me. They told me they would look at the schedule and call me back. 3 days go by and I hear nothing so I call back and explain the situation and the receptionist was very rude and told me the soonest I could get in would be late January. How ridiculous is it that they stress the importance of every 6 months yet they cancel me two times and refuse to get me in within a reasonable time frame. January 2026 will be nearly a year from my original appointment and should be my second 6 month cleaning. Receptionists are extremely rude and unhelpful. Don’t go here because you will be waiting months (or a year) to be seen.

Fantastic experience: Dr Oh and his assistand were extrely gentel and polite, i had oral surgery that took about 45 minutes, no pain then and after. I can only recommend Dr Oh for any serious problem. Wonderful great job thank you ,Gerta.Muellner

Fantastic experience: I’m in the process of a tooth extraction and getting an implant. The process is going well and the care has been excellent. I wish I didn’t have to do this but since I do I’m happy to have such expert dentists and surgeons!

Fantastic experience: My visit to this dental office has always been great. They are always professional, prompt and get the job done. Recently I lost dental insurance but because I really didn't want to lose my dentists I reach out to them and they told me of an alternate to insurance which would help in cutting cost to my visits, x-rays, cleanings or any other procedure. I highly recommend to anyone who has had bad experience with dentists. The staff here erase all dental fears

Negative experience: I just called this office to inquire about a possible appointment for an urgent dental matter. The person immediately assumed I had Fidelis -Dentaquest which I do, and abruptly told me they were not taking such an insurance any longer (then update your website!). All the while not offering pay out of pocket options making the assumption I couldn’t cover. Watch out for places like this as they treat people as second or third class citizens.

Fantastic experience: The place is an eye opener. I have never seen a large dentist operation like it. I expected bad outcomes, having been at the place down the road, yet it seems to work well. The employees seem mostly happy. Dr. Kim seems super qualified. They get a ton done. My concern will remain that it seems like so much continuous work is done, back and forth between patients, that if there were ever were serious complications, it seems like there is potential for error seeing how much everyone seems to get done. I had a lot of work done on my teeth over 4 visits, consistently observing this curious place. I will continue to go there, amazed they are pulling it off and hope it continues!

Fantastic experience: Had oral surgery by Dr Oh to remove a wisdom tooth. All of the staff are so friendly and the doctor was the consummate professional and a friendly guy as well! Highly recommended in every way.

Fantastic experience: My mom needed a tooth pulled. Her old dentist was worthless. They didn't want to help her after they pulled her tooth. So i researched a bunch of dentists looked at reviews. I called sure we can help they take her insurance I had my referel. We went all the staff is great. Dr O. Is a great oral surgeon. They have been wonderful with mom. She hates needles she didnt feel it. Recovery has been rough we came back they got her in. All good great great dentist. Thanks to the staff.

Judy went above and beyond to accommodate me and squeeze me in Dr. Stein found time for me and explained my condition and choices in detail, including less expensive options Brittany provided a thorough yet painless cleaning and provided additional information and options and confirmed my questions were answered My follow up appointments were quickly set for my convenience and optimal care The waiting room was bright and clean, and there was plenty of parking The staff at the office were fabulous

Negative experience: I have a tooth infection that has continued to get worse for months. I've been on 3 different rounds of antibiotics and have had several abscesses and sinus infections impacting my ability to work and function. I called my insurance who told referred me here. I called to make an appointment and they said they took my insurance over the phone. I waited 2 1/2 months in agony, took the day off work (unpaid) and drove 2 hours here for them to tell me "yeah sorry we don't take your insurance." My insurance gives me inaccurate outdated information and every other place I call is booked until next year. I'm out of options so I'm just going to pull the tooth out myself so I don't die.

Fantastic experience: Linda took very good.care of me and she provided valuable information about how dental health affects other systems in the body, things I never knew before. She was the ultimate professional but also very personable. Love chatting with her Andy teeth feel great!!

Fantastic experience: It's hard to imagine a better experience. I got reminders via text. I was seen on-time. All the staff was courteous, expert and efficient. A permanent crown was installed in less than 30 minutes. And the crown was well-aligned and pain free when the anesthetic wore off a few hours later. 7/13/2025 Update Another great experience: A 15 year old filling fell out and less than 24 hours later I was walking out the door with a new filling. Once again courteous, efficient and competent. Another great experience. I had a crown fall off and they reinstalled it the next day at no charge.

Negative experience: Called in at 8:30 am needing a second dose of antibiotics due to an infection. Explained I had facial swelling and pain same symptoms that they gave me the antibiotics for. Receptionist told me it would be sent to Dr and called in. 12:40pm I checked with my pharmacy, no prescription. Called the office was told Dr had been in surgery all day and it would be done by the end of day. 4:00pm I checked with the pharmacy and still no prescription. Called the office to be told by after hours call center they could send a message and I’d get a call back Monday. Now I have to sit in Urgent care after work for what this office treated me for. I’m sure being a dentist office they know how serious a tooth infection can be they couldn’t even offer a call back to say they couldn’t give me a script.

Fantastic experience: I have been exceedingly happy with this Dental office in Lake Katrine over this past 6 months. I am particularly grateful to have Dr. Oh and his Team working to address my dental needs. I must apologize to Dr Koh for the typo in the above post. The entire office has truly worked together to become an office of kind, caring and professional people who make visits to the dentist a pleasant experience. Dr. Koh and Assistant Mary Jane are the best! A special Shout Out to Sam for the new "temp". Can't wait for the finished product! Dr Koh, Mary Jane, and staff helped to make my visit comfortable. Finally! Im so happy with the results! My temps were a challenge always falling out but t My permanent front Teeth are great! And I love the fit and feel of my partial! Kudos to Dr. Koh and Team - Best Ever!

Fantastic experience: Met the most wonderfully capable and immensely knowledgeable group of women. They are the reason I love this place! Thank you to 3 exceptional dental professionals : Lori, Judy and Ina. I adore these women and I love that I have gotten to meet some stand out folks, who are the BEST in their fields and proved it to me with the work they have done on my teeth.

Negative experience: This is a HORRIBLE place to go. I was scheduled for surgery @3 in the afternoon. I called 10 a.m the morning before to double check on when I had to stop eating and was told it was cancelled because I didn't confirm 24 hours before my surgery. When I pointed out that at the time of this call it was actually 29 hours before my surgery so how could that be, the receptionist agreed a mistake had been made and put me on hold. When she came back she apologized and said unfortunately there's nothing I can do. When I asked to speak to someone else because I couldn't understand, she put me in hold again. When she came back on the line she whispered I'm so sorry, then said in a regular voice, Dr. C said because you're being difficult, you're not welcome back to this office! I was so shocked , humiliated, and embarrassed that I haven't been back to a dentist since. I also would like it known that I didn't raise my voice or say anything inappropriate. I simply wanted to understand why I was being cancelled for no reason. I can only assume it was because I am Native American and on Medicaid, which I qualified for even working full time.

Fantastic experience: Enlisted Dr. Oh for a VERY difficult tooth extraction. The infamous Dr. Oh's excellent reputation preceeded him & I knew I was in great professional, experienced hands. He made the extraction as pain free as possible & fast. Opted for nitrous oxide which turns out doesn't do squat for me but he was so acutely precise in numbing the tooth in question I experienced no pain. Only some gnarly discomfort from actual maneuvering of the tooth out of it's socket..lots of pressure, pulling. I'm sure there will be bruising but thats ok. Tooth is out & already healing up. I have much more dental work, more extractions to come, working towards the inevitable: a full set of dentures. All of which I've entrusted with the good Dr. & his team going forward. Would highly recommend. Office is one of the few clinics that accepts NY state sponsored dental insurance. Staff is excellent despite being super busy & overwhelmed as one of those few clinics in Hudson Valley serving low-income folks with Medicaid, the NY Essental Plan etc. Kudos to the office for taking on that responsibility. My tooth extraction is already on its way to healing up & I have no apprehension or anxiety going in for the next round. Great job!!

Everyone was a pleasure to deal with and they went out of their way to make sure I understand everything involved and were great at answering my questions. The service was great across the board. Fantastic experience: Brianna was my hygienist. She was awesome when I asked her if I could see her again next time she said no because she is a pediatric hygienist. So if your child needs a great person she's awesome

Fantastic experience: I have been going to this dentist office for a few years now. I have extreme dentist, anxiety and everyone here has been absolutely wonderful and understanding. They do excellent work, and their bedside manner is stellar. Sometimes the weight is a bit long, but I feel that is a testament to their excellent work.

Negative experience: I stop going to this dentist office. For Two years I went looking for help for my dental issue. Never got à plan, never got à proper cleaning. After first visit I received x rays. The dentist was very rude and then I was told to make another appointment so we can see if your insurance will cover anything. My appointment was for 6 months. In that time I had an dévelop and infection and needed antibiotic. Another x ray and was told I didn't have any infection and then they wanted me to do à 200 dollar treatment not covered by insurance. I said no and left. Next day I was in pain face swelled up and l called the office demanding to be treated. They called meds into my pharmacy. Last straw was almost two years later I'm going to finally have a cleaning and I get a call that my appointment is going to be canceled. I never called or went back. I lost some teeth in the meantime and found a dentist . My First visit with my new dentist they came up with a plan and did full x rays , 3 days later had a cleaning. They are kind and caring. Now I'm getting help . If I could give them zero stars I would instead of one.

Negative experience: Reception is not very prompt to greet people or friendly. Waited 35 minutes past scheduled appointment. Could not understand stand the doctor and he was rushing and rude.

Fantastic experience: Pulled 5 teeth including 4 wisdom teeth and I experienced very little pain and swelling. They did a great job in a timely manner. Staff was great as well.

Negative experience: Major billing issues! I Never received a bill in the mail, was waiting on the bill so I can pay this by check but I was informed by my Daughter that this place needed a payment before they would even see my Daughter for her appointment. I even asked if I could drop off a check the next day but I was told NO! I didn’t understand why not because I never received a bill in the mail and I did not plan on using a credit card to pay for this. As I spoke to the front desk I was told the charge that would be charged to my visa card would be $381, I also had my daughter confirmed the dollar amount with the front desk before the amount was charged, I checked my bank account and saw the charge pending for $381, then when I looked at my account today I see that I was charged more for the visit then the receipt shows and the amount that myself and my daughter confirmed. I was not informed of a different amount being charged or any fees, that was not disclosed to me or my daughter at the time the charge was put through. I did not authorize anything more than $381 being charged to my credit card. I have contacted my financial institution and I am disputing this charge since it is as higher than $381.00. I am only paying that amount. I am not sure why no one at the office could work along with me. I mentioned a couple of times that I did not plan on charging this in the first place that I planned on writing a check out for the $381.00 and I could drop it off on my lunch the next day. I am not happy with the service or how this was handled, I never received a bill in the mail for this so I do not understand why am I paying for something that I never received a bill for from the dentist office. Check with the company they handles your invoices to see what the issue is why I never received the bill in the mail.

Positive experience: I arrived on 8/22/25 for my first visit. My orthriginal appointment was for 9/12/25 but due to my further complications they moved my consultation up to 8/22. I thought I had completed the forms online, however, I guess I didn't or there was an error on my end. So I had to fill out the paperwork again. The wait was about 20 minutes, I got called in for an X-ray and was guided to my room. Before I even sat down, Dr Oh was in the room. He as well as the rest of the staff were pleasant. He asked to make sure that all my teeth were coming out and looked in my mouth with his flashlight for about one second and said "I'll see you soon." The office itself is nice too. I think it's worth the hour and 8 minute drive. 9/8/2025 - I was called back within 10 minutes of my 9:30 appointment. I was there to have the remaining 8 teeth extractions. Prior to using Dentists' Office of The Hudson Valley, I had gone to another oral surgeon for other teeth to be extracted in Orange County where I'm originally from. At my former Oral Surgeon, they had used a combination of midazolam (which DOHV) did use and a smaller dose of fentanyl (which DOHV) did not use, which I was not expecting. They had my chart and could have been able to see I take clonazepam up to 6 mg a day for panic/anxiety disorders as well as other medications. I asked before the surgeon came into the room what I was getting for anesthesia and I told me midazolam. That's when I asked if that was all they were using for anesthesia and by this time the surgeon had come in and they both told me I will be "totally asleep" and won't "remember a thing" and "very comfortable." So I thought to myself that maybe the amount of midazolam they were going to use was a higher amount being that I'm already on a large amount of daily benzodiazepines and that they weren't using any type of analgesics. Instead, I was completely aware, felt it all besides what was numbed by the local anesthesia, and had to have one nurse or dental assistant standing back of me holding my head with all her strength with me moving all over due to the pain. Had I known that they didn't use any type of analgesics for the procedure, I might have looked around for other places. Although they experience wasn't the best, I've heard worse stories and suppose it could have been worse. What was funny though was when I was done with the procedure, I was ready to go that second and they were, perhaps, concerned I was too sedated to leave but meanwhile I was never sedated enough in the first place LOL. Overall, they did a good job to the best of my ability, but when I asked during the consultation what the anesthesia situation was like, they should not have told me they use "what every other oral surgeon office uses," because that is in fact inaccurate.

Fantastic experience: Came in for an emergency visit, and the dentist exceeded my expectations of care today. The receptionists were extremely friendly and helpful while the dentist was also very patient and understanding. She took her time in examining what was going on, took the time to actually explain the potential issue, and gave tips for what I can do in the meantime. Dentist visits have always caused high-anxiety for me, but it was helpful hearing so much laughter happening around the office, as well as the dentist taking the time and being gentle when it came to any concern that I had.

Fantastic experience: Very great staff. I had an extraction done today and they made me feel very comfortable.

Negative experience: I had a new patient appointment today. The x-ray tech and the dentist were great—professional, compassionate and thorough. My issue is with scheduling. I initially called in June 2025 to schedule the appointment and they were booked out til August 2025. Not ideal, but understandable. When I finished the new patient appointment I found out that they are booking cleanings in November of 2026, well over a year out. Talk about burying the lead! I understand there is a shortage of dental hygienists but y'all should inform patients that there is over a year wait for a cleaning BEFORE the intake appointment is scheduled.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Oh and the staff addressed all my concerns before removing two wisdom teeth. The procedure was virtually painless and my recovery is going well.

Fantastic experience: Wow!! This practice is the best I've been to in many years. The front desk staff are courteous and efficient. Appointments are timely. The technicians that I've met were all great. Dr Chong is wonderful and not only listened to what was important to me, but he gave full information about the work I needed and his advice about how to proceed. The oral surgeon I had my consult with was thorough, patient, and explained in full detail my treatment options. The person who handled all the insurance claims was great, she gave me all the info with best case and worst case scenarios so that I would be fully prepared as I made my treatment choices. My last dentist had been giving me incorrect treatment info as well as cost info, and for two years, they kept putting off smaller things I needed and would only focus on the high cost things. I'm so grateful to have found the Dentist Office of the Hudson Valley!!

Positive experience: Cleaning and annual exams when smooth and uneventful , however when I tried to make my 6 month cleaning the next open appointment was 13 months out!?

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with dental hygienist Lindy Judy and highly recommend her! I had recently burned the roof of my mouth before my appointment, and she was incredibly gentle and considerate throughout the cleaning. Despite the sensitivity, she was still very thorough, ensuring everything was taken care of without causing discomfort. On top of that, Lindy was informative, explaining each step of the process and offering helpful tips for maintaining oral health. Her professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail really stood out. If you're looking for someone who genuinely cares about your comfort and dental health, Lindy Judy is the one to see!

It’s very rare you can go to a dentist office and feel like you can’t wait to go so you can have such a great experience. The service is fantastic, very little pain, and nothing but positive vibes. Fantastic experience: Lori who took my X-rays was absolutely amazing. I get so anxious with X-rays and just simply cannot do them. She hand shot them all- took the time out of her day to go ahead and do so. Very sweet employee! Office was clean all other staff was friendly. Got me back relatively quickly. However, waited a bit to see doctor. But it’s a very busy office.

Fantastic experience: Went for a consultation to inspect my questionable wisdom teeth. I was struggling with some of the intake forms and the receptionists were very patient and helpful as I completed them. The x ray techs, dental assistants and Dr. Oh were all very thorough in their examination; making sure I knew exactly what was going on with my teeth. I would recommend this clean, professional and personable office of providers to anyone, based on this one experience.

Fantastic experience: The dentist was very kind and thorough with explaining what to expect when getting a tooth extraction and hopefully things will go smooth tomorrow. The office was very clean and well lit. Today, the Dentist Office of the Hudson Valley exceeded all expectations! Dr. Oh was amazing! Although the pain of the needle going in was the most painful in this whole tooth extraction experience!(I didn't expect otherwise). Altogether it took about 15 minutes with very little bleeding. About 4 hours later, very little pain where the needle went in. A great experience and would recommend this office to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Went here to have a wisdom tooth removed years ago around COVID. I’m going back to them for my other wisdom teeth and I have no worries they did a wonderful job last time so I’m sure they’ll do it again. Also special thanks to the receptionist Jill she helped us get a good discount by signing us up to a dental assistant thing for those with no insurance and she was so patient and wonderful thank you Jill and everyone at this office for being such wonderful dentists!

Fantastic experience: I recently starting going to The Dentist Office of the Hudson Valley to have major dental work done but my anxiety surrounding dentists is awful. I took the step and I’m so glad I choose to go here because Jill took my anxiety and made me feel so much better and so comfortable. She’s amazing and I cannot thank her enough for everything! She also helped get me in sooner so I would be out of pain and always returns my calls!

Fantastic experience: I took my daughter there today for a consultation on removing wisdom teeth. They did a procedure a few years ago and they were the BEST !!! Today I had the pleasure of setting up arrangements for her next procedure and had so much help from Jill !!!! I can not tell you what a great help she was and a very sweet lady !!!! Jill, you enjoy your weekend ☺️

Negative experience: I had appt in my phone at 330. I got a txt saying I confirmed for 4:00 so I called they told me it was 3:30. I got a second confirmation and it said 4:00 again. I left work early knowing you guys are screwed up. I get there at 3:00 and they tell me my appointment is at 4:15. Get it right people. This has happened before where I get there and I don’t have an appt. Not good. If I miss my appointment you charge me. What about me loosing money from work cause I could have worked my normal day and not lost money!!!!!!!!!!!!

Negative experience: Was very uncomfortable there..wouldn't go back anway..Just xrays 320..and rootcanal and fill cavity..taling 5000.who has that kind of money on fixed income..didn't even get a cleaning..

Fantastic experience: I am always so pleased with the care and service I receive during my visits. When I had two emergencies they got me right in and handled my problems. Dr. Kim is great.

Fantastic experience: The administrative staff and assistants have gone above and beyond to help with what felt like personal attention even though it's a very busy office. Also, Dr. Chung provided a filling that blends perfectly with the tooth, in a very visible place.

Positive experience: I first started visiting this dentists office over 2 years ago when I was having severe tooth pain. It took over half a year after first scheduling to be able to see anyone (expect a long wait if you're a new patient or looking for a cleaning!) But once I had my first appointment, everything moved smoothly. I had both upper wisdom teeth removed without struggle. My dentist was even so excited after removing the second he cheered, it's a boy! Made me laugh so hard. After that, I spoke to another dentist about straightening my teeth which had been crooked since they first grew in. We decided on invisalign, and now over two years later I no longer have tooth pain, my teeth are straight and feel healthier than ever! Aside from the long wait times, this office has been very good to me and all of the staff I've ever met aside from two have inspired me to take better care of my teeth, rather than lectured or chided me for not knowing better.

Negative experience: I heard great things about this place from a coworker, I was willing to wait to get in, waited several months before my first apt in March, x rays taken, since I hadn’t been to a dentist in a long time cavities were expected. I was informed I needed a root canal although it wasn’t painful or touching the pulp of my tooth, little concerning but okay. Fast forward several more months I get a call the day before my appointment informing me they would only be performing the root canal and the several cavities I was told about never had an appointment for fillings made. I was under the impression everything would happen in the same day. I had called the week before asking if the root canal could be changed to a filling and no one told me that the cavities weren’t going to be addressed. I asked if I could have my cavities addressed instead of a root canal and I was told “that’s not how the scheduling works”. Furthermore, they told me that the earliest I could have the cavities addressed would be in December!!! Over a year since I initially called to schedule an appointment.

Positive experience: I as a new patient ask for a cleaning and check up. They only did the check up, and told me that they don't do cleaning on first visit, which should have been explained upfront when I called. Their next appointment for cleanings is Next Year.

Fantastic experience: Cristal is wonderful, I asked to schedule my next appointment with her, unfortunately she’s only there temporarily!! Such a great teeth cleaning! Very thorough and my teeth are sparkling white!

Fantastic experience: Honeslty the BEST dentist I have ever been to in my 40 years. She solved a problem for me other's have not been able to with constant pain finally being relieved and she took extra time to take care of me in a way I didn't experience even more pain. So thankful!
