Fantastic experience: I am very satisfied with my Dental visits at this Facility. The office is very clean, spacious with an excellent Staff from the minute you get in and beyond. My Dentist is very knowledgeable, skilled, compassionate and friendly, along with the Hygienist and the Dental Assistants. I would readily recommend them without any reservations. Negative experience: I have held off writing a negative review for a while. But I've been going to this office for about four years, and honestly, the only reason I've stayed is because of Dr. K! She's amazing. She's kind, gentle, and truly cares about her patients. I can't say enough good things about her. Unfortunately, the office staff, especially the manager, is the complete opposite. Every visit is a headache. From scheduling and insurance issues to just trying to get someone to help. My most recent visit was the last straw and warranted a review. A dentist removed a bond thinking it was tartar, and when I called to fix it, it was a whole ordeal just to get another appointment. Then, when I ran late (by 25 minutes and totally my fault), I was told to reschedule and they pushed me out weeks. It was a mistake made by them, so I would think they would have some urgency in trying to fix it, but that isn't the case. It's really a shame because Dr. K deserves a better team behind her. If it weren't for her, I would've switched offices a long time ago. They offer incentives for good reviews so that would definitely explain the high ratings.

Fantastic experience: It was my first time visiting and Dr. Kashiwabara and her hygienist were great! Throughout my appointment they made sure I wasn’t in any pain or discomfort. The tooth cleaning felt like a spa treatment for the teeth. I usually hate going to the dentist so I was relieved at how much care they took. The only unpleasantness I experienced was from one of the front desk staff who went over the cost and had me initial an estimate for a broken tooth. She spoke to me as if she was a jail warden.

As a new patient, I came in a little nervous, but from the moment I walked in, I felt comfortable. The office itself is spotless, modern, and welcoming—so I honestly expected that kind of quality to come with a huge price tag. Instead, I was pleasantly shocked by how upfront, fair, and kind the team was. Dr. Kashiwabara was outstanding. She took the time to explain everything I needed to know about my dental health in a clear, educational way, which immediately put me at ease. She even set me up for a teeth whitening session that was handled by one of the friendliest and nicest dental assistants I’ve ever met. From start to finish, every staff member was professional, kind, and thorough. I can’t recommend Dr. K and the Fuller Smiles team enough—I’ll definitely be telling all my friends and family to come here.

Negative experience: It is too early to tell. This was my first visit and it was no different than any other dental office that I have experienced. There is one thing that annoyed me and that was after my deep cleaning I had a few questions, but unbeknown to me, the dentist had left the room so quickly that I had to request him to return to ask my questions.

I have a big fear of dentists but the staff at Fuller Smiles always makes me feel relaxed. I love this facility!

Negative experience: Wish I would've gone to a different dentist. I had 2 root canals done about 3 years ago at Fuller Smiles in Culver City. I didn't have insurance, so I paid about $3,000.00 out of pocket to get the root canals done. Sadly, after my root canals, my molars hurt worse than before the root canals. How? I don't know! I went back several times to get this fixed. Finally, I no longer have the pain, BUT my crowns have fallen right out 3 times since then. I called to inform them, but now they're asking for more money to recement them. I shouldn't have to pay any more for their poor quality of work. A few years later, and several visits to the same dentist for the same teeth is ridiculous. My experience with this place has been a nightmare. I wish I would've spent my money elsewhere. I wish I could leave less than one star.

Fantastic experience: I love my dentist Dr. Sam and all the others. They are very professional and great at what they do. My teeth were never this healthy or looked nicer! My gums improved troumenndously! In addition, my Dr and all the stuff are extremely friendly that I feel like a part of the group. My husband is also very satisfied with the service and I'm bringing my teenager son too. Cannot recommend this office more! I just wish I discovered them earlier!

Positive experience: Being my first time, I only wanted my teeth cleaned. I guess my x-rays showed my teeth needed more than just a cleaning. That’s fine. However, I didn’t expect to have some of my teeth refilled at a cleaning. I became overwhelmed with the suggestions of work they wanted to perform. I don’t like feeling pressured. It was a lot for me for the first visit. We had just met. Let me get to know you a little better. I prefer having a plan in place to do the work. I loved Dr. Pauline. I hope to see her the next time I’m there. I did allow her to fill two of my teeth.

Negative experience: The doctor said she was tired of cleaning teeth everything because I needed a route canal, she said I had an infection and said she was going to give me antibiotics and never sent the script. I'm considering going elsewhere.

Negative experience: Awful first - and last - visit. Painful x-ray process with inexperienced staff. Mediocre clean and floss by staff. Whole process was slow with lots of waiting. Request for lots of unnecessary info on paper intake form. Dentists don't need my social security number. They already photo copied my drivers license. Had to wait in chair after cleaning for manager to try the upsell for future work. $1,100. No thanks. Need to pay for parking. Did not get promised teeth whitening. Front staff was nice

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to this location probably for the last 5 years. I’ve always been fearful of the dentist since I was a kid. They’ve made me so comfortable and dealt with my anxiety. Given me so much grace and patience. As an adult this is probably the most consistent I’ve been with my check ups and will continue to return. The front office staff is so nice and welcoming. The dental assistants, hygienist and dentist are all nice as well. I haven’t had any issues.

Negative experience: I went for teeth cleaning. My reason for cleaning was stains. Because just a few months ago I did deep cleaning. But I had stains because of tea, coffee.. She didn’t clean all. There was no a big difference before and after. And my previous dentist was using single use tapes for touching surfaces. For example light handle, drawer handle, computer mouse etc. unfortunately this dentist doesn’t care about these things. She had gloves but she was touching everything with same gloves.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Fuller Smiles in Culver City since 2021, and it’s an excellent dental office. I’ve had several teeth cleanings here, and they’ve done a great job every time. My teeth always feel super clean afterward, and it’s a nice bonus that they offer free teeth whitening! The office has a warm and welcoming vibe that’s not typical for a dental practice. Everyone is so friendly and focused, and you can tell there’s a great camaraderie among the team, from the front desk to the dental assistants. One of the things I really appreciate is how straightforward everything is. The prices are fair, and I never feel like I’m being upsold on unnecessary treatments. They take the time to explain everything clearly, which makes the whole experience stress-free. They also care about the little details, offering weighted blankets, noise cancelling headphones, and other items to make the experience cozier and calmer. Dr. Arsh, the owner, does an incredible job running the practice, and it’s clear he puts a lot of heart and effort into creating a positive experience for patients. Cindy, office manager, is on top of it and understanding. Dr Kay is kind and efficient. If you’re looking for top-notch dental care with a team that genuinely cares, Fuller Smiles is the place to go. Fantastic experience: Once again, the staff at Fuller Smiles demonstrated that their facility is among the top-ranking dental offices in LA. The hygienist took extra care in paying close attention to details as she cared for “each tooth in each quadrant” of my mouth. Any anxieties that I may have had quickly faded as I enjoyed the beautiful panoramic views of the LA skyline. After a refreshing cleansing, the dentist’s examination followed. She was very thorough and she recalled specific details from my previous exams. A comparison of X-rays showed that I had followed her advice, which was a very good confidence booster. “Cordial, caring, knowledgeable, and professional” are words that give an excellent description of the staff. Albeit, a huge “thank you” to my dentist who keeps my smiles fuller!

Negative experience: Visited on September 9th for a standard cleaning. This was my first visit at fuller smiles. From the moment I walked in this place felt unprofessional. I walked in and had to wait 5 mins just to be greeted while the staff giggled and talked behind the front desk. Once I got seen, I was put in the x ray room that was messy. The girl taking my x rays was nice. I waited in the x ray room for about 30 mins before I was moved to a regular room. My friend told me this place was great & they offered spa menu, I wasn’t offered anything off of that menu. Once the Dr checked my teeth she said “your teeth look great, no cavities however one or two could turn into a cavity so would you want to fill them now?” I stated her words back to her just to be clear I understood correctly…and said no I would not be filling anything that wasn’t a cavity. Which she said I didn’t have any but it “could” turn into one. This feels like a money grab. Once I declined what she wanted her energy shifted, she was rude, I feel like my cleaning was half assed and rushed. and didn’t even get a toothbrush kit to go. I won’t be seeing that dr again. Or whoever it was that told me that, which I’m looking at the drs online now and I don’t recognize them, so I’m thinking it wasn’t a Dr who told me this. It must of been an assistant. Still unacceptable. From reading previous reviews it seems the drs give the assistants most of the work and that’s where the mistakes happen. Do better.

Fantastic experience: I went to Fuller Smiles Culver City this morning for the first time for an exam and teeth cleaning and I have to say that my visit was very pleasant. Like many, I have extreme anxiety when going to the dentist as it's not my favorite place. I try to do right by my teeth, so I only have to go twice a year for exams to make sure everything is ok and teeth cleanings. However, thorough teeth cleanings are an absolute must for me and Uyen, the hygienist is simply lovely. She brought me back and told me that she would be taking a full set of x-rays to which she asked if I was ok with that, which I was. Dr. Sam came in after looking at my x-rays and told me that she didn't see any issues and asked what brought me into their office today. I explained my situation and told her what my concerns were, which she politely addressed and said that someone would discuss pricing with me before I left as some was cosmetic and not covered by insurance. Dr. Sam was very nice, and I appreciated the warm welcome. After my exam, Uyen then proceeded to do my cleaning. OMGGGGGGGGG, she is wonderful, she was gentle, yet she did my cleaning just like my old hygienist who retired. Very thorough and tells you if she sees any issues that need addressing. I have sensitivity, but I felt nothing, which is huge for me because I usually feel quite a bit. If you are looking for a new dental office, I would recommend Fuller Smiles, the process is easy. I was able to book my appointment online, they emailed me the forms to fill out, which can be done online, or you can do so in office the day of your visit. Even though this was my first visit, I know I have found my new hygienist and hopefully my new dentist if I have any other major work that needs to be done. Fantastic experience: I am very much impressed with my first visit. The hygienist did an excellent job of cleaning my teeth, which is my usual measure on how the rest of the services go. Dr.K was exceptionally prompt in seeing me, doing the exam and offering the recommendations. The Office staff is very professional, curtious, and accommodating. The communication was clear and precise. After an exhaustive 2 years search for a quality dental services provider, on the Westside of Los Angeles, I believe I have found my best fit. Instead Of Just Working On Your Teeth & Saying You Need To Floss More They Educate You In Detail On What Is Wrong With Your Teeth/Gums. They Offer A Comfort Menu That Is Full Of Free Perks That Help With Those That Deal With Anxiety. I Never Feel Like I'm At "The Dentist" But More So A Vacation. The Prices Are Great For Those With No Insurance & There's No Other Business I Would Choose Or Recommend Than Fuller Smiles.
