Negative experience: Been going to Exceptional Dental since 2015! This visit was very upsetting !!! Not happy with xare at all!

Fantastic experience: My experience was great. Everything went well. The staff are so nice and very courteous. They are so warm and welcoming. Would recommend Exceptional Dental in a hearty.

Negative experience: This place is awful. They want money and are only about the money and they are fake as fake can be. I had a dental assistant standing over me I’d never met with a buger in her nose and I was not having it. Then when I asked who she was and did she know she had a buger in her nose she got attitude and said it’s a piercing I said well that should be under a mask. The doctor who barely speaks English said this is too weird I’m not doing this after I was numbed and poke with needles and in a full panic mode from three teeth extractions without sedation because they did not offer it and of course 1 Valium was $260 or gas for $80 cash. This place does not care about you they only want your money. And they cut my chin and I’m bleeding.

Fantastic experience: Ms. Ray and the entire staff are VERY professional and welcoming. I was greeted immediately upon arrival and it was less than a minute wait to be called to the back. Ms. Ray was very gentle with me. She and the staff took their time to explain everything and answered my million and one questions. As a bonus, they even offer you a warm neck pillow and blanket! I love it here!!!

Negative experience: I am not satisfied with the service. I am disappointed with the service I received. I think its all about money, I paid about $5ooo and still don't have good dentures i. They are to big for my mouth and it is hard to eat and drink, so when I said this to the dentist. She said it time to make another case. That means more money and I still don't have the good ones I paid for, more money more money. Don't go to them unless you have money to burn Peace ✌.

I have fears of going to the Dentist like so many others BUT Jennifer (Jen) has been so instrumental in getting me to this place of comfort. She has been wonderful coaching me through all of it. Fantastic experience: As i entered The clinic it was clean and nicely appointed including a beautiful salt water aquarium. Each examination and treatment room has a large screen television. I watched the new lion King movie Mufasa as I waited for the doctor. The staff and doctors were very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. However, I had a problem with appointment scheduling. I also didn’t like after receiving my treatment cost and paying for it, being asked at time of service if I wanted numbing rinse for $15.00. I should have been made aware of that option beforehand not right before. I felt like I was being nickeled and dimed. The silver lining however, was that my hygienist did An exceptional job of Thoroughly cleaning my teeth With no discomfort.

Fantastic experience: Staff is always friendly, greet you as you walk in and the place always looks clean. Just wish there was more one on one with the dentist to address any concerns. You have to catch them before the oral exam/cancer screening is over. Overall good experience and great hygienists.

Negative experience: I used to love this dentist and I have gotten multiple of my family members to come here. One of the dentists filled my front teeth with brownish fillings (very off color from my actual teeth) and I haven't been able to smile in photos in years. I met with the office manager who apologized and said she wanted to "make it right". I didn't know if I trusted them to fix it since they basically gave me brown teeth. When I came back for a cleaning, I spoke to another dentist in the practice (because I had to refuse to see the brown tooth dentist) and they assured me that it would be fixable so I worked up the courage to schedule it. Exceptional Dental did not stand by their word or their work. They are charging me full price to fix it, and on top of that, because the cavity has already been filled, it's basically a cosmetic procedure at this point and costs more. I cannot in good conscious recommended this dentist any longer. If you can't see color accurately, you should not be choosing filling colors that will affect someone for the rest of their life.

Fantastic experience: Staff & Dentist here are super friendly and professional. Any questions I have are answered with detailed and easy to understand explanations. Insurance coverage and out of pocket expenses were gone over thoroughly. Advice and assistance is provided in a clear and concise manner when trying to decide best treatment options, taking in personal budget and insurance coverage. Again, administrative staff is very patient, friendly and thorough in helping with my decision making.

Fantastic experience: Words can not express Dr Setti and his team are soo passionate, patient and welcoming all patients with open arms. I visit on Monday for the first time and today I begin my dental work. I have never felt soo comfortable and relaxed at a dentist. The entitle team are amazing and accurate. Much Love ❣️

Negative experience: I was well well satisfied I was very disappointed in my visit today not knowing that I had to pay an extra $1,000 which was stove to me months ago the whole bill was taken care of I gave you $8,100 and my insurance took care of 30% I don't understand the issue Madison is such a sweetheart she was very kind I enjoyed my visit

Each person I encounter is always friendly, respectful, and attentive. It might be a surprise to some, but I really enjoy my dental visits. Dr. Ho has been part of the complex puzzle of helping my jaw release as I navigate CCI treatment and complex disorders. Positive work environment, but I especially love to see this close-knitted, competent team of women.

Fantastic experience: I had a dental emergency (bad tooth cracked and partially came out) and they were able to see me the same day. The extraction was quick and because the rest of the tooth came out easily, they actually reduced my out of pocket cost by $46.00. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and caring. Will definitely be back. Will recommend them to anyone who needs a dentist in the Mid-City area.

Fantastic experience: Had a really long appointment today (6 fillings and a crown replacement, took about 3 hours) and Dr Alice and her team were so nice. They were checking up on me throughout, making sure I was ok or if I needed anything. They explained all the steps and made sure I was comfortable the whole way. I needed a deep cleaning, so I needed two shots to numb my mouth and I was soooo nervous and the lady asked if I wanted her to pray. And another lady asked if I wanted her to hold my hand. Fantastic experience: The office was clean and beautifully decorated. The staff was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. I struggle with extreme teeth sensitivity and for the first time in a very long time, I was provided with realistic goals and resources to minimize my issues and my cleaning (which at times can bring me to literal tears) was painless!! Rachel, Dr. Seddi, Corrine and the CSR team were all exceptional and I would definitely recommend this facility to my family, friends, neighbors as well as random people on the lovely streets of Nola lol!

Fantastic experience: My dentist, Dr. Alice Ho, has cared for and overseen excellent treatment of my teeth over the past 2 years. She is exemplary in combining her solid skills in dentistry with a strong attitude of caring for the patient as an individual. The assisting staff members, including the dental hygienist, all seem to be very well-trained. The office is well-run. Appointments have always started when scheduled. The office has provided excellent help with the financial aspects (Kaitlyn has been wonderful in guiding me in this area). I am very glad that I started going to Exceptional Dental of Mid-City and have no hesitations in recommending it to others.

Negative experience: Horrible the staff was great I’m disappointed with having to pay for something I already paid for and at no fault of my own because Of faulty lab work I am being penalized by having to pay out-of-pocket again for something that should have never happened in the first place

Positive experience: I do not like the dentist at all. But when it comes to my annual cleaning, Ms. Jennifer the hygenist is so patience ,tender and clean when doing my teeth. No rushing and great commuicator as to what she is doung to do or will be doing to my mouth. Im a nerve reck when it comes to my mouth. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Fantastic experience: I love it there! I'm greeted well, the wait isn't long at all & everyone is so relaxed & professional. Warm pillows & blankets are amenities that make you feel very comfortable.

Negative experience: Today was a horrible traumatic experience!! My appointment was scheduled at the end of the month. The office called to let me know that I could come in earlier for a deep cleaning. I asked the rep. how long will the appointment last, she replied, “one hour”. I got over to the appointment paid my balance of $114.00. When I got in the chair the hygienist explained that this appointment would be 2 hour. I let the hygienist know that I was told an hour. She ask if I’d like to have it rescheduled since I needed to get back to work. I went to reschedule with the administration and was told that rescheduling would charge an additional $75. I opted out. I then called my job to explain the situation so that I can continue with my appointment. I get back in the chair, the hygienist start with numbing that required being needled at least 10-15 times on the left side top and bottom of my gums. I am super afraid of needles and feel light head due to the numbing medicine. The office administrator ask the hygienist to step out so that she could explain something that came up with my insurance. I am listening to the administrator as she talk behind me explaining that insurance covers deep cleaning every three years. She said I could stop the service and schedule for another time. I was furious and walked out of the office. After getting in the car, I realized this wasn’t professional nor did it display the value of customer which is clearly printed on the sign when you walk in the office. I went back in the office demanding for a refund and a copy of examination records. I was told that the finance manager wanted to explain the situation. At this point, I did not want to hear anything else, but she ignored my request still explaining the horrific customer service rendered to me. She told me if it was her, she rather get the information up front rather than the back end. She said they could send a pre-authorization to the insurance, but I would have to pay additional money to cover cost. Basically I would have to cover all of it because it’s not yet 3 years. I explained to her that they were insensitive and unprofessional because this appointment was made two months ago. I asked for regional manager email and contact. I was told she could not give it to customers and that I would be contacted by Regionals. This could have been avoid, now one side of my mouth is in pain and numb. Nothing got done today! I am extremely upset! It was a traumatizing experience.

Fantastic experience: Just completed my second visit to ED Carrollton and Bienville, next door to Orange Theory. Had a routine visit, cleaning, and checkup. Hygienist did a wonderful job of explaining what she was doing in the process, why. Dr. Setia performed his exam and went on to explain the care plan for an issue with my jaw. The staff immediately had me on a roll to move in that direction. All very professional and caring from check in to check out. The service is great.

I needed to be fit in to fix another dentist’s work and they are so knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire process. They also accommodate all different kinds of payment plans. Fantastic experience: I had a root canal done by Dr. Adragna this week. I've had root canals before that were painful for about 3 days. This one has not been painful at all! The procedure was not painful either and by the time I left his office, the numbness was almost completely gone. I would definitely recommend Dr. Adragna for any dental work. Plus, all the people in the office are so friendly and caring.
