Generally, I do not like to go to the dentist, but I never dread going to Blue Ridge Dentistry because everyone there, from the front office staff, to the hygienist and assistants, to the doctors, are all kind and patient and caring. To say it is fun to go to the dentist would be untrue. But I never dread going to Blue Ridge Dentistry.

Her manner was very good and she performed steps that I have not received before. She communicated with my dentist with detail and the whole experience was top notch.

It had been a while since my last dental visit, so I came in feeling pretty anxious, but Molly and Dr. C immediately put me at ease. From the moment I walked in, they were warm, professional, and incredibly reassuring. They talked me through every step of the process, answered all my questions without rushing, and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. Dr. C was gentle and thorough, and Molly was kind, attentive, and calming throughout the procedure. I really appreciated how they took the time to explain what was happening and checked in with me often to make sure I was doing okay. If you're nervous about going to the dentist or haven't been in a while, I highly recommend this team. They made what could have been a stressful appointment feel completely manageable — even pleasant. I left feeling well cared for and confident about coming back.

Fantastic experience: What a dental office. First visit was an emergency tooth extraction. I was super nervous. But, Dr. Karimy and her hygienist were absolutely amazing. Gentle, patient and kind. I felt no pain during surgery and had no pain afterwards. I am thrilled I have found a great dentist. I live an hour away and will travel to see her. I feel like she will guide me in the right direction of my dental needs. Truly a blessing to have found her.

Fantastic experience: I've been a patient here for about 2 years. The staff is always professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate. Dr. Cherniavsky filled a few cavities, did a root canal and crown, and recently did a tooth extraction and bone graft on me. Every time I needed something taken care of, she and her assistants delivered. The procedures are always done with the comfort of the patient in mind.

Fantastic experience: In my 73 years, I have never gone to a dentist like Dr Dax. and the entire team at Blue Ridge Dentistry is by far the best. I actually enjoy going to the dentist. The entire group is the best ever.

Fantastic experience: I was able to schedule an appointment on Thursday for Monday for the removal of an infected molar. I decided to proceed with the extraction and it went smoothly. I am happy with the professionalism of Dr Dax Banfield and Lisa, the hygienist. I appreciated that they made the procedure practically painless. I will be going back for more services.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Dax put a crown on my implant this morning. It took a little longer than usual because he would not be satisfied until the tooth was a perfect fit. He also lets me know what he is doing as he’s working so if I were to feel something uncomfortable I’m ready for it. I also like his comments while working, “thats looks good, I really like the way that fits”, etc.

Negative experience: When I call to schedule a cleaning, I would expect a cleaning yet was just given X-rays and they didn’t have me down for cleaning. I will have to come back. I drive an 1.5 for this appointment. And this happened to my son as well. There needs to be clarification at scheduling! Be respectful of people’s time!

Fantastic experience: The treatment of patients if professional and prices are fair. My hygienist does an excellent job and I always feel like the entire staff really cares about the patients. I am so glad to find dentists in Boone haven’t started treating us like numbers like is the case in most cities off the mountain!

Fantastic experience: I was referred by my ENT, Dr. Ford. Blue Ridge dental accepted me as a walk in and within 5 minutes I was being seen. I had excruciating pain in my tooth, jaw and ear. Xray confirmed I needed a root canal. They referred me to an endodontist. Everyone was friendly and patient with me as I have lots of anxiety at the dentist! I highly recommend this practice and Dr. Dax.

Fantastic experience: If I could give 10 stars I would. I live in Florida and part time here in Banner Elk and had an emergency situation and didn’t have a dentist here . They got me in right away and my issue should of been a quick 30 minute yet because of complications it ended up to be 3 hours and they were amazing to make sure I walked out of there with no pain. Dr . Kyath was the best and the hygienist were awesome too. They will definitely be my North Carolina dentists.

Fantastic experience: Very personable and efficient staff. Hygienist was very skillful and thorough. Very attuned to any minor discomfort of my having to hold my mouth open. She would notice, spray some water, evacuate that water, and give me a moment to swallow.
