Fantastic experience: I went in today to prep 3 teeth for crowns. Dr. Chung was able to avoid two root canals that I was sure I'd be paying for but was able to avoid. I paid in advance and Heather assured me at the end of the visit that she would get my refund processed asap. Dr. Chung got the whole thing done in 1.5 hours start to finish with beautiful temps in place. She's basically the NASCAR pit crew of dentistry. I didn't feel a thing when she put the needle in to numb me. Dental work is never fun but they definitely made it as pleasant as possible. Very grateful to all of the staff for making every aspect of my visit as painless as possible.

Fantastic experience: A very good appointment and good care. The hygienist was very careful and thorough. I was apprehensive of a deep cleaning but this was pain free.

Negative experience: I don't recommend this place. Some of the staff are very kind but they dont care about your time or pain. I went in there to look at 2 teeth 1 on my right and 1 on my left side. I was very disappointed that they could/would only do x-rays to just 1 side of your mouth so they make a plan for 1 tooth but the other has to wait. fine but I was told the very earliest was 2 months away (watching for cancels) I cant imagine a reason they cant do both sides at once. Heather at the exit was very pushy and a little rude as I was leaving just clear she had no time to be bothered (maybe it was a bad day for her) reviewed by wife of Hamid

Fantastic experience: I recently had my 6-month checkup. My appointment was for 8 am, and it was recommended I show up 30 minutes prior. Promptly at 7:30 am, I was in the building. The door was unlocked and provided access to the foyer. The second door was still locked. They were probably in a quick meeting - especially on a Monday morning. Totally understandable. A minute later, Brandi opened the door. Her cheery disposition and offer to check me in were greatly appreciated. Working with Shelby, dental hygienist, is always a pleasure. She is kind and thorough. This dental office is awesome. The entire staff is patient, accommodating, and kind. I am totally blessed to be a client.

Fantastic experience: From a text reminder for an upcoming appointment to scheduling your next appointment, this is your team. My tech is excellent and the Doc is quick and efficient. 5 Stars, I'm mid 50's.

They both know what they are doing and presented dental treatment professionally and informative. The dental assistant did a fantastic job taking my xrays and was friendly and polite. Positive experience: Brought my handicap mother in for her 6month checkup. The room she was in was not handicap accessible. We were told they did not have any handicap rooms/chairs. She could barely squeeze her walker in between the counter and the chair, then the chair was not able to lower far enough for her to comfortable climb on. Getting out of the chair and maneuvering her walker to get back out was a nightmare. How is this so?

Fantastic experience: My visit, 6th of March 2025 was my 6th month requirement and as usual I was treated very well. The Technician that performed the inspection and cleaning process was excellent. Once completed with the initial service the Dentist inspected and conveyed findings. I highly recommend Dental Professionals to anyone requiring dental services.

Negative experience: I've been going to Dental Professionals for over 20 years, today was my last day as a client. Tiffany in billing and the receptionist at check were absolutely no help. I was trying to pay with my HSA and submitted a payment using the account. Im currently in between insurances and they unlike any other medical office I've ever been to do not bill. They wanted payment right then and there. When I asked if they could just bill me I was told "when you go to the grocery store you don't get a bill" incredibly unprofessional. Also, yes this is me being petty idc your hair has been pink since you've been there and you're like 60 years old stop it Tiffany, it's not cute. Anyways, just dropping my review. I will say that Dr Ysidro and the Dental hygienist that ive seen there have all been amazing! It's unfortunate that I won't be returning due to one person.

I had been going to the same dentist ever since I was little, I tried this place out because it’s closer to my house and was very impressed with my cleaning and my dental assistant she did a great job and was so friendly. Even the front desk was very friendly and welcoming which is great when trying out a new place! It’s also a very beautiful office that is kept clean!

Fantastic experience: Not happy with my last couple of apppointments. Had a root canal in May and still had tenderness and a bubble on my upper gum and it bleeds off and on. Went back this month (September) they took X-rays and told me to go an endodontic dr that I still had an abscess. I had total replacement knee surgery the end of May and I am not supposed to have any dental work done for 6 months. I saw a Dr Chan the second time because my dentist was out for two weeks. She didn’t seem to care or really know what to do.

Fantastic experience: Always nice to go in to a place that people are so nice and respectful. I feel so good when I leave there with my teeth just being cleaned and and feeling refreshed.

Fantastic experience: The staff goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable, and they explain everything they do. The receptionists are great! They let you know up front how much the services will cost you if you need work done beyond just a cleaning.

Negative experience: Randomly received a $100 bill from this office with no reason listed. I went there one time for a cleaning and didn’t even get that. The dentist insisted on a DSRP, which I had just had 6 months prior at another practice. Shortly before my appointment I had to cancel due to a family emergency. Apparently regardless of life these people still want money. Won’t be returning for services due to these reasons.

Fantastic experience: They do an amazing job at making you feel comfortable and explain everything they’re doing very thoroughly. They educate you on any concerns they have but don’t pressure you to do anything that isn’t necessary. Mati is AMAZING and such a pleasant hygienist to be with, I can’t say enough good things about her and Dr.Chung!

Fantastic experience: The ladies at the checkin desk where very courteous, and my wait wss short.. Aniya cleaned my teeth and was very professional , pleasant, reviewed my at-home cleaning proceddure, and showed me the correct way to use my Water Pik device. Dr. Ysidro impressed me . While I was waiting in the lobby I noticed she took the time to introduce herself to a young lady at the checkin desk who was new, and told her "We are glad to have you here." Every employee I observed seemed happy to be at work and that is unusual in todays workplace. Since I changed to Dental Professionals last year, both of my visits have proven that was a \good decision.

Negative experience: I went in for a tooth emergency. I was in so much pain and told them it felt like there was something in my tooth/gum area. The dentist I had did not look with an Explorer. All they did for me was take X-rays and 3d xray and prescribed me meds and sent me on my way. I felt like all they wanted out of me was money and not to really take the time to help me and listen to what I was saying.

Fantastic experience: The staff is professional and caring. They clearly explain what they are doing and what I might need to address before it becomes a serious problem. They are careful not to sell me something that I don't really need.

They explain what needs to be done if anything other than a cleaning, and the ladies up front will explain your out of pocket costs so there are no surprises. If you need dental services, I would highly recommend Dental Professionals!

Fantastic experience: I was needing new dentures. I went a dentist and after 8 months I had a set of dentures that was totally wrong. I went to dental professionals in derby. I think it was about 5 weeks. They made me a set that fit perfect the first time. I’ve had them about four months. No going back to realize. Great people. Very little wait time. This is where you need to go

Fantastic experience: I had to have 4 teeth removed prior to braces being put on. This was my first time visiting this office due to our insurance changing and my old office no longer being in network. I have to say, I am loving this office so far! They were all so nice and cognizant of the fact that I was having a major procedure done and feeling a little apprehensive. The office is beautiful and clean. I’m so happy we made the switch to this office.

Negative experience: I am saddened to have to give this review, as I have seen this office for probably close to 15 years or more. I was flossing last Monday night, and a chip of (what I later found out was an old filling) came out. I called first thing Tuesday morning to get an appointment to be seen. They are no longer in my insurance network, so I did have to pay $400 up front, and will hopefully see a refund from my insurance. *When I was brought back to the room, the girl who walked me back looked at me panicked when I said “I’m going to try all of this work without nitrous today” she looked at me terrified and said “all of what” I said, “well whatever it takes to fill this chip”. She said “oh my gosh you scared me because the other day there were two people with the same first name, and I had the wrong one back here”. That did not give me warm fuzzy feelings or much confidence in that moment. They got the filling done, and I went back to work. Numbing wore off and let me tell you. It was some of the worst mouth pain I’ve ever experienced. I chalked it up to where they did the numbing injection. But then I started noticing extreme sensitivity to even air breathing in, food, and water. Woke up Wednesday morning, and a chunk of the new filling was laying on my pillow, and there was an extremely sharp jagged edge between my teeth. I called again, and they asked me to be there at 8:00. I rushed around, got my daughter to daycare, and got there by 7:50. Checked in, and 8:25 rolled around. I went up to ask if they had an ETA. Got called back very shortly after. Dr Chung came in, and asked me the issues. I told her part of the filling came out, the major sensitivity, and the jagged edge. She ground on my teeth everywhere BUT where I was showing her where the jagged edge was. After 20-30 minutes of this, she says “well, I’ve done what I can, you’d be a good candidate for crowns in your front teeth” Excuse me…. WHAT?! My teeth were perfectly fine when I came in except the chip. Had no sensitivity, no jagged edges, etc Now, $400 and many hours off work later, the chip is filled but I have extreme sensitivity, and a jagged edge that catches on my tongue, and makes it bleed. I called up, and spoke to the supervisor who was very helpful! She asked me to come see Dr. Barakeh that Friday. Who came in and fixed it almost immediately. And then found excessive build up in my gums, which is strange since I had JUST had a cleaning with Dr. Chung 6 months prior and I brush 2-3 times a day. He suggested a cleaning so I went in Wednesday of this week, and they did a deep cleaning. Another $300. They then suggested a root and scale, and when I asked what that was, and why it was needed, wasn’t explained anything just handed a pamphlet. Yesterday evening, I was brushing my teeth and went to rinse and had ANOTHER chunk of a filling fall out, that was FINE before all of this work was done. I tried to call the office, as google and their Facebook page said open. No answer. Left a voicemail on the emergency line with Barakeh, and Chung, since this was on my front tooth and making it impossible to eat anything or hardly drink. It has yet to be returned. I found another dental office referred to me by a coworker, and got an appointment this morning to have that fixed. They were absolutely not impressed by the quality of the new filling that Dr. Chung did just last week. They did this one, and fixed hers, and another one done by Dental Professionals for HALF THE COST that one filling cost me on Tuesday. I definitely don’t feel valued at all as a patient there, like I did back when Ysidro was my dentist. This place has steadily gone downhill with the quality of the care you receive I feel like, aside from a few of the hygienists that I will miss. I have now switched to the dentist I went to this morning, as I felt heard, valued, and they did not try to fear me, or upsell me with “bone decay” or “needing crowns”. I even mentioned the bone decay that had been mentioned, and was told it’s not near as bad as they (Dental Professionals) was making it sound.

Fantastic experience: They made me feel very comfortable. I went to this dentist office 8 years ago when I lived in Derby. I moved to NW Wichita and had not been comfortable with a few of the dentists I saw in Wichita. I am now back to Dental Professionals and happy. The drive is easy and worth it to be comfortable again.

Fantastic experience: I wish it offered more stars. I formed them from the jump about the dental anxiety and fear, and compared to the last visit I had with another facility to attempt to fix my teeth that I straight walked out of is night and day. I was put at so much comfort and ease that I am excited to move forward.

Fantastic experience: They came highly recommended and I could immediately see why. It's like stepping into a cozy home...fireplace crackling in the lobby, comfortable furniture and large windows in the exam rooms which look out onto nature. The work was done quickly, but well. The appointment was for my child...they did a great job with him. Update: I had my appointment and was pleased with my experience, as well.

Fantastic experience: Literally the best in the area (Wichita, Derby etc). Friendly, knowledgeable and recommendations are done by professional health guidelines and expertise. Never do you get the feeling they pile things on to make a profit. Every single staff member is awesome, and I never would go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: I was terrified of visiting the dentist after several years. Turns out I had no reason to be afraid because the entire office is very kind and reassuring. Now here is why I gave 3 stars. I have had this NPV appointment for about 3 months. I was wanting to switch over from a previous dentist office. As I was saying, everything was amazing up until I was told that they didn't want to just give me my 6 month cleaning but to give me a deep cleaning, to which I need to make a appointment for. I understood having to make a future appointment for this to be done. We walk to the scheduling/insurance lady and she tells me how much out of pocket I might have to pay which is typical so no worries with that. So we're setting up the appointment and then I'm told it's about a 3 month wait and I won't get until about March. Now, that wouldn't be a problem if I hadn't already waited about 3 months to be seen already. So I'm a little shocked by this, but it is what it is right. Then she tells me that I also have to put down a 100$ deposit towards the March appointment. I have never experienced this at dental/medical office, and I work for a doctor! So to be told I needed to put down a deposit to hold my appointment was a little off putting. So when I said that was something I wasn't willing to do she told me then I probably wouldn't get seen till April or until my insurance approves my procedure. So I left with no appointment and about 3 months of wasted time waiting for this appointment. Everything was just awesome up until then. Some people may see this and say "what's the big deal, just pay the 100$ and get the appointment?" But if COVID taught me anything, it's the fact that anything can happen between now and March and I have lost many deposits back in those days because of it. So as much as l liked them, I'm still looking. However, if your ok with the 100$ deposit, and waiting a few extra months to be seen, the you should give this place a try!

Negative experience: Made an appointment for a tooth extraction because half the tooth broke out and is causing me pain. Went in for the appointment thinking they would pull it but all they wanted to do is do an evaluation and have me come back again for what I was there for to begin with. I walked out with no help at all.
