Negative experience: I dont know who was working when other reviewers gave positive comments, because the front desk people were awful. I left after finishing new patient paperwork so I didnt see a dentist. If those are the people hired as the face of the practice, it doesnt speak well of anyone there. I think my family and I dodged a bullet.

Fantastic experience: I haven’t been to a dentist in 10 years and this place rolls out the red carpet for you. They offer very reasonable prices and get you in and out quick. Go see Ryan he is an amazing dentist, very friendly and outgoing.

She became too difficult to get into, so we switched to Comfort Dental. We both felt comfortable with the care we received. Negative experience: I have been a loyal patient at Comfort Dental for several years, and I’ve always praised the compassionate care provided by Dr. Ryan and his wonderful staff. Dr. Ryan is, without a doubt, the best dentist I’ve ever encountered. His kindness, compassion, and remarkable ability to calm my anxiety about dental procedures make every visit comfortable. However, my recent experience has left me reconsidering my loyalty. During my last visit, I encountered a receptionist with red and black hair, I think I heard someone call her Julia, whose demeanor was shockingly at odds with the warmth I’ve come to know from this office. I had a wisdom tooth causing me significant pain and I had specifically requested an appointment with Dr. Ryan. I was scheduled for an appointment nearly 36 hours later, which I accepted as I wanted to see only the dentist I trust. Upon my arrival, I was extremely disheartened to learn from Julia that Dr. Ryan was not in that day. When I expressed my disappointment regarding the lack of communication about my appointment, her response was cold and dismissive. Her utter lack of empathy was palpable and it was clear that my pain and trust in the practice meant absolutely nothing to her. She bluntly told me to either see the doctor on duty or leave. Reluctantly, I opted to see Dr. Adams, who, while trying to provide care, did not meet the high standards I’ve come to expect from Comfort Dental. His demeanor suggested he was more interested in clocking out for the weekend than genuinely helping me. His suggestion to endure my pain until another dentist could assist me was unsatisfactory. He prescribed ibuprofen and Orajel, which did nothing to alleviate my suffering. Dr. Ryan has repeatedly assured me he could remove my wisdom teeth quickly and comfortably; however, Dr. Adams’s response was dismissive, sharing his own regret about undergoing the procedure without sedation. I made it clear that I couldn’t endure the pain I was in over the weekend, but he insisted the medication would help, which it did not. The weekend turned out to be one of the most painful experiences of my life. After six excruciating days, I finally got care elsewhere and had my wisdom teeth removed by a surgeon I had previously been referred to by Dr. Ryan. Had Comfort Dental communicated properly when I initially called to see Dr. Ryan, I could have avoided the unnecessary wait and gone straight to the referral surgeon sooner. Instead, they prolonged my suffering and provided extremely inadequate care in the process. I do want to express my gratitude to the technician, who I believe was named Than, for his kindness during this ordeal. He was the only staff member that day who made me feel like I mattered. In conclusion, while Dr. Ryan and some team members deliver outstanding care, the disorganization at the front desk, Julia’s extremely unwelcoming demeanor, and Dr. Adams’s lack of effective treatment have significantly tarnished my previously stellar opinion of this practice. It is unacceptable for dental professionals to show such disregard for a patient’s pain and suffering. If you’re fortunate enough to see Dr. Ryan, you’re in extremely capable hands, but beware of some less effective staff members.

Negative experience: My teeth cleaning appointment (no x-rays) lasted less than 12 minutes. Yes, my teeth were cleaned (somewhat) but no checking for cavities, and a rushed, flimsy answer when I asked how my gum recession is doing. When I got back home I could see my front teeth looked clean, but my molars are still coffee stained. One tooth even looks half clean. My visit was very rushed. I don't feel like I received care. I received a service. A very low quality, quick "get her in & get her out service". The staff were all very pleasant, no one was rude, but it wasn't a thorough cleaning, and I won't take an appointment with Dr. Ryan again.

They had me in quickly and took care of the problem and asked if I wanted the cleaning in that quadrant done while I was already numb. That was awesome. Fantastic experience: I have been using Comfort Dental for several years and I appreciate the high level of care that I receive there. Recently, I experienced a bleeding gum that took several minutes to get under control. It manifested at 2 am so I had no choice but to stop the bleeding and wait until morning before I could schedule an appointment. I was able to stop the bleeding using cotton balls and I was able to quickly get an appointment with Comfort Dental to determine the root cause of the bleeding. It turned out that my teeth were fine but my gums needed to be improved. Dr. Ryan had his assistant contact a local Pharmacy and send in a prescription for an oral gum rinse that I could use to strengthen my gums. I will use this twice a day for 3 weeks and then return to Comfort Dental for a routine cleaning. As always, the entire Comfort Dental staff was friendly and professional. I was relieved to know that there was a simple solution for my problem.

Fantastic experience: I hated my teeth after 3 pregnancies and the problems that caused, losing several teeth, etc I decided to get denture implants and the most affordable option for me was comfort dental in Firestone with Dr Ryan and Dr Young, the absolute best at snap in dentures! I love my smile, they were compassionate, fast and thorough, checked on me and adjusted my teeth as needed. I honestly couldn't be happier with the results and great customer service I received from everyone there! I highly recommend this location, Dr Ryan and Dr Young ! Thanks guys! Update may 2024: I got my final set of snap ins and they look so natural, fit amazing and feel great ! Positive experience: I like my dentist and the hygienist who assists him. The appointments are quick, but thorough and I feel good about their service as dental professionals. The one BIG frustration is that they won't allow you to schedule your next 6 month appointment before you leave the office. You have to wait for them to call you in 6 months. This is very frustrating and doesn't make sense for either party. This, along w/ the front office staffing being a little aloof is why I gave the rating a 3.

Negative experience: My name is Brittany Powers. I Just spoke to an extreme rude women named Jenna who had the most condescending and rude attitude I’ve ever encountered. She refused to give me the name of the office manager to complain just said she comes in once a week. She actually scoffed at me twice in the phone. I sat on the phone for almost an hour earlier this week establishing my two kids who adventure dental sent big files over for. The girl earlier in the week told me she would create new files for my kids so we would t have to deal with any issues as I had cancellations over 6 years ago when we were out of state. Worst customer service I’ve ever encountered. Office manager please pull the call from 9/10 at 4:24 pm. Your employee needs to be fired! Edited 9/11/24: Spoke with Dentist at the office who apologized for Jenna’s behavior but asked me to remove review. I advised I will not do so because people need to know honest reviews of the businesses they are dealing with and who represents their companies. He advised me that he vouches for Jenna and she likely was having a bad day and this is a one off. I advised if I had a better experience with them I would remove it. I received a call that my family was dismissed from the office this morning lol - I’m assuming because of my reviews and honesty. Read all reviews - this office has issues. Very happy to take my PPO insurance to a much better office.

I only scheduled a clean and they made my teeth beyond beautiful by filling in my chips on my front teeth (like my whole front tooth was exposed and has been since i was little) and they filled it in so naturally and quickly. I cried tears of joy because my teeth have never been so beautiful and i never thought it could be fixed. This is my new favorite dentist. Highly recommend!!! The front reception was super polite and quick to help me. Dr. Adams was such a delight to work with, he made sure you felt comfortable and understood each step of the process. His assistant Nahn (I hope I spelt his name correctly) was nothing but kind and helpful and he did beautiful work in filling in my problem tooth and my sealants. (and they didn’t have to numb me one bit and they worked so delicate I couldn’t feel it!) I am nothing but grateful for this staff! I highly highly recommend this place!!!!!
