Fantastic experience: I always have the best experience at this Dentist, Everyone is so welcoming and professional and they offer the best care available. Maria the Hygienist is always the highlight of my visit with her care and skill she has kept me motivated to obtain the highest oral care. . I highly recommend !!

Fantastic experience: From the time I walked in with my son , I felt welcomed . You can tell that they all are family . The receptionist was kind sweet funny and explained everything very throughly. My hygienist Asma was incredible . She listened , gave me feedback, reassured me because I was a little scared and anxious. She was gentle and she knows her stuff - that’s my new BFF lol Dr. Eaton was nice and supportive. He explained the treatment plan for me and answered all my questions and he is fine lol I would go back - 5 stars Even my 26 year old son was impressed and it’s hard to impress these young people He said his two hygienist was nice and gentle and he felt comfortable Awesome job guys and amazing work

Negative experience: Dr. Acosta is an amazing doctor and he also has a great staff!!! Update: around 3 years with this place and I love it, they make me feel like family, my hygienist Paula she is amazing, very nice and delicate, Dr. Acosta is also keeps being great, great staff, my family comes here as well. They take the time to explain any question or concerns that you have. 100 % recommended. Update2025: After being a patient for 7 years and bringing my family and business to this place and I'm sadly saying goodbye, my hygienist Paula the only person that was left from the old team and there is also a secretary which is also really nice I'm sad to really let go and reason which I was still going there but unfortunately the new staff which need to be retrain and find out which patient is new or old and find who they are calling how come I'm called and told if I'm a new patient, and why my patient was scheduled for? And the toned and attitude over the phone which I was talked over the phone? Seriously I can find a new dentist that is not the problem but I will not allow anyone to talk to me the way that the person was talking to me over the phone and also saying that no one was calling when they did and making look like a liar no thank you

Fantastic experience: Had cleaning and three cavities filled in the past two days! They were kind enough to work me in over the short time I was able to be home as I work out of town. Maria and Dr. Eaton are great and so quick and efficient.

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit to Champions Gate Dentistry. The office was so clean and the receptionist was very kind. I met with Jackie, the hygienist. She was so wonderful and accommodating. I am handicapped so she put me in the room that had a straight shot to the chair. She took pictures of my teeth (we couldn't get panoramic since I could not stand or sit tall enough.) I was able to see them on the computer screen. I had questions about what I saw she explained them perfectly. She is a kind soul! I then met with Dr. Monserrat. Gentle and sweet! Spoke to me about my teeth and what I wanted to accomplish. Told me my teeth were fine. I've always wanted straight, whiter teeth. She showed me options which I am very interested in. All in all, I loved this dental office and will be returning.

Maria Monserrat, DDS, is the MOST FANTASTIC dentist whose expertise in her field was quite evident when she performed restorative crown repair to my teeth! She is a perfectionist & that is exactly how my crown felt when she completed my procedure! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Champions Gate Dentistry for their OUTSTANDING service in meeting all my dental needs!

Negative experience: Refused to do a cleaning because I’m pregnant. Despite the ADA clearly recommending dental treatments for pregnant women and stating that there is no risk.

Negative experience: I had an appointment scheduled for a dental cleaning, but when I arrived the staff told me they had no record of it in their system. This was very frustrating and unprofessional. I had arranged my schedule around this visit. A dental office should be organized enough to keep track of appointments and respect patients’ time. I expected better communication and accountability.

Fantastic experience: I hadn’t been to the dentist in a long time and was kinda nervous, but Dr. Eaton was so kind and really put me at ease. The office is very clean and has modern technology, which made me feel even more comfortable. He took the time to explain everything clearly. Showing me where the decay was, how serious it was, and why crowns are better for me than fillings since I grind my teeth. He even showed me the tiny lines and holes so I could actually see the problem myself. The grinding is breaking down my teeth and the fillings aren’t strong enough. It makes sense now since i keep having to go to the dentists over the years due to pain & having to fix my teeth over and over again. What I really appreciate is that he’s focused on long-term solutions, not quick fixes. I came in wanting invisalign. He explained that it wouldn’t make sense to just straighten my teeth with Invisalign without first addressing the decay and infection. With the crowns, he’s not only fixing my cavities but also designing them to fix my crooked teeth. This will shorten my time wearing the invisalign. Dr. Eaton answered all of my questions, was very patient, and even made me laugh with his dad jokes, which helped me relax. I can tell he takes pride in his work because he keep talking alot. I’m so glad I found him and will be getting my teeth done with him!

Fantastic experience: First visit was EXCELLENT. Paula provided me with my first “gag” free dental X-rays in my life and considering I’m 70 that’s saying a lot. A very smoothly run office with very helpful, professional staff. Special shout out to Loumaris who scheduled my appointment. She provided an excellent introduction to the office. Dr. Eaton is a much appreciated addition to the remarkable team at Champion’s Gate Dental office. He’s very personable and communicates issues and concerns about my oral health clearly which I appreciate. His knowledge and professionalism is only surpassed by his kind and compassionate nature in caring for our family. Dr. Eaton continues to rise in my esteem. I recently had a crown come off a tooth. Rather than pushing me to have a new crown made, after taking X-rays and assessing the area he truly blessed me by re-cementing my old crown and sending me happily on my way. His office staff is also wonderful door to door.

Negative experience: When I first moved here to Davenport I chose Champion Gates Dental. Since covid I haven't felt comfortable to go back to a dentist's office until recently I booked my appointment a 2 months ahead they claimed they sent a text to my phone on the 10th of June to reschedule for an appointment. It was down pouring rain so heavy I made my appointment. And was met with rejection by the lady in the front desk dressed with her ballerina tutu. Seems like there were more interested in their office party. If you move here from Davenport avoid Champion Gates Dental there's about five dental offices and also avoid Sage Dental

Negative experience: I went to Champions Gate Dentistry because I needed a new partial. The length of time I had to go through (1 1/2 years) to try to get them to fit a new partial was absolutely ridiculous. I was going in every other week to have the partial fitted, they took Several x-rays, they tried measuring the inside of my mouth with new technology as well as measurements by biting down on Clay. After 1 1/2 yrs I finally decided these people do not know what they are doing. They told me I could cancel and they were sorry and that my money would be refunded. I paid almost $3000 plus all that time that I spent going and coming over the length of time and spending gas only for them to send me home. When I finally canceled everything, I only got a $600 refund and they kept the rest. They never explained where the rest of the money went or why. Worst place ever which is really too bad because the staff was very nice and friendly. But the staff isn’t the one that does the work they’re just there to greet you. Now I only have $600 to apply to wherever I go next and I’m wearing a broken partial. don’t understand how a company can feel good about that.

Negative experience: I’m very disappointed with the disorganization and questionable practices at this dental office. About a month ago, I showed up for my scheduled cleaning only to be told that they no longer accepted my insurance. I explained that I had been a patient there before and that my insurance had previously been accepted. Despite that, I was told it was no longer valid. Later that day, my wife called the office to double-check, and it turned out they had made a mistake—my insurance was still accepted. I rescheduled my appointment and was informed that they would be dropping my insurance after June 1, 2025. They even had a notice posted at the front desk listing the insurance carriers they would no longer accept after that date. At my rescheduled visit, after checking in, they reviewed the expected charges, which included x-rays. I told them that since my insurance would only be active for another 10 days, I preferred to skip the x-rays and just get the cleaning, as I’d do the x-rays with my new dentist. However, they insisted that since it had been over a year, they would not do the cleaning without new x-rays—even though my insurance only covers x-rays once per year. If I had agreed, I would have had to pay out of pocket for another set at my new dentist. X-rays are recommended, not mandatory, for a routine cleaning. Their refusal to accommodate my request and their indifference when I chose to leave made it clear: their priority is revenue, not patient care. I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for dental care for you and your family.

Negative experience: Horrible service. I called my insurance asking what providers are within coverage within the area and was told this office's provider's are within my coverage for Florida Blue. Billing in this office tells me I'm not covered and I requested they talk to my insurance. They refused to see me unless I self-pay for a filling that has come off and is causing pain. Would not recommend this office to anyone.

Negative experience: AVOID AVOID AVOID I've always been diligent with my dental work... With cleanings every 6 months and x-rays. I moved here and went to the dentist based on a high review rate, I scheduled a 6-month cleaning. They did X-rays and an examination which took about an hour and a half which is odd, and then tried to tell me that I have six cavities, need braces, and that they couldn't do my cleaning that day because it was so expensive. Overall I was quoted 4K just for cleaning and cavities. I never scheduled another appointment. Instead I went to a dentist that was recommended by a co-worker, redid All My x-rays, and found out I have zero cavities and just needed a standard 6-month cleaning. This place is trying to scam you and will lie about work you need done just to pinch you for every penny

Fantastic experience: I am someone who has a fear of going to the dentist and the dental team was wonderful! My first time there was because an old crown broke off and I needed a replacement. The dentist made sure I was comfortable and explained the procedure before beginning . Fantastic experience: The only trustworthy dentist practice I’ve seen. Most of them want to charge you for procedures you don’t need because allegedly you have “periodontitis”. It’s such a scam, but this practice is so honest and so caring. I look forward seeing Maria, my dental hygienist every 6 months! I would still come here even if I moved to another state lol.

Negative experience: what a horrible experience overall. this place is full of careless dentists and staff. soon as my husband left his first appointment, he had made an appointment with a different dentist at a different location, due to them completely disregarding him. we called them to let them know that we would not be coming back and they couldn’t have cared less. they then waited 4 months to bill us, which then the insurance company wouldn’t pay due to us maxing out at the other location. if they had sent the bill in a timely manner, this could have been avoided. this place is completely unorganized, and the staff and dentist are very unprofessional. save the headache and go elsewhere

It’s like coming back home. They remember me and my husband and treat us like friends. They are all so happy and the atmosphere in the office is delightful. Negative experience: I have major dental trauma, so before I even step foot into a dental office I like to call and feel out the staff and ask many questions. The receptionist that answered the phone did nothing but try to get me in for a consult and charge for xrays (even when insurance only likes to cover these once every 18 months) She wouldn't listen to my concerns, answer my questions, and was very rude. Her response to almost every question was to come in for a consult. Sounds like a money grab. If you cannot even be understanding and supportive over the phone, I can't trust you in the chair either.

Negative experience: I was 10 minutes early for my appointment and they took me 15 minutes late. I had a cleaning that lasted 20 minutes. Fastest cleaning ever. I did not get safety eye wear and was not offered a warm blanket like last time. Disappointed. So the above review was 4 years ago. Now I show up to my dentist appt and the door is locked. So I call. Oh they are at lunch til 1pm. My appt is at 1pm. They wanted me early for paperwork. Maybe put the hours on the door and don't make appointments for 1pm if you want those ppl there early. The hours on the website does not say gone for lunch at any times.

Negative experience: I recently visited this dentist office and had a very disappointing experience. I spoke to two representatives before my appointment and provided my updated insurance information. After taking time off work to attend, I waited 30 minutes only to be told they do not accept my insurance. The front desk staff was very unsympathetic. Their communication is poor, and the customer service is terrible. Do not come here; it's a waste of time.

From the moment you arrive, and all throughout the appointment, you are given the best, newest and most through exam, x-rays, cleaning and assessment I have ever experienced in my life!!! And I am turning 70 this year. I have sensed in several teeth some sensitivity and also been told about some hairline cracks in 2 teeth from my previous dentist, who is now retiring. They totally confirmed what I know will be issues down the road that need being attended to and in order of importance. My hygienist Maria was a dream come true. She made me feel totally relaxed, enjoyed the whole process and left feeling so clean & fresh. If you are on the fence trying to find a new place to put you at ease and leave extremely happy, this is the place to come!!! Many thanks to your whole staff at Champions Dentistry!!!

Negative experience: Look I’m all for giving second chances since I know we are all human, but this place really dug their own grave. This place was highly rated online so I assumed the care would be top notch and professional. That was not the case at all. For starters, the lady at the front desk tried to argue with me about the way they send appointment reminders when all I wanted to do was change my communication preferences. They called me twice to ask me about my insurance even though I filled it all out on the new patient forms they sent me online. She didn’t apologize that it was their mistake and they just couldn’t find the information. Then, they sent me texts and emails every day asking for confirmation of my appointment when I have the texts that prove I accepted 3 days before the appointment. It is excessive to be bothering your patients so often when it is your staff making the mistakes. The dental care itself was no better - I thought it strange that I had an hour and a half consultation to do x-rays and then you all decided that you couldn’t clean my teeth in the same appointment. I have been to many dentists and that’s never how it is. It’s really not professional to ask your patients to come back when the whole reason they booked the appointment is to get their 6-month teeth cleaning. If I had known that up front, I probably would have chosen a different dentist. Thankfully, there was an opening later that day, but when I came back on time, I sat in the waiting room for 30 minutes (no one was present at the front desk) before taking me back. I feel like if you had made plans with someone and said to be there by 1:30, you wouldn’t show up at almost 2pm without an apology of some sort. The last straw for me was the situation with the cavity filling. I’m no expert with teeth, but I do have the right to ask questions concerning my medical care when I’m in doubt. The morning of my filling, I asked Dr. Eaton to pull up the image of the cavity again since it was almost impossible to see in the grainy x-ray photo and I was feeling nervous that it was a procedure that didn’t need action. He talked to me in a way that suggested I didn’t know what I was talking about and that it was obvious the cavity was there, but he didn’t do anything to make me feel as if it was the right decision or not. Like, maybe blow up the image or show me a different cavity to compare mine to? Nevertheless, I went through the procedure and I was feeling discomfort the next couple of days (which is normal I know) but I called the office because the edges of the filling were so sharp it kept cutting my floss and my tongue. I left a voicemail since no one answered my call and I still have not had anyone reach out to me to address my concerns. It’s now been 5 days since my surgery and I’m still feeling a lot of sensitivity near that tooth and surrounding ones. To make matters worse, I have since found out through a second opinion that the cavity in question did not look like it was there at all. At first I felt like I was overreacting, but after all these events that transpired above, I am inclined to find another dentist because this business kept disappointing me time and time again with their poor service, lack of professionalism and just not valuing my time.

Positive experience: I llike the dentist and the ladies in the back. I spent well over $3000. On my dental work , signed off on the paper work they came in explained almost everything. Months later I hot a $600. Additional bill out of pocket. My insurance didn't cover one part that has a standard guidelines for replacement. It's supposed to last a 10yr before they will cover it. I was told by the office I should have known my policy. So there was no confusion. Wait the office that dose this for a living and suppose help us with the guidelines failed. Who knew. I was passed because billing knows this they could have said something but didn't. I would of waited to do the work because I wasn't in pain or discomfort til they found out that it wouldn't be coverd. I was told in a sarcastic manner by billing and really mad that I was spoken to that way. Hello I just gave you a hell of alit of money. Asked to speak to a office manager and was told they don't have a set schedule that they come in whenever. Ok fine. Bad service on the office billing dept.... They doctors and billing know the rule of thumb and guidelines. Tell us help us OUT. IF YOU WANT RETURN CUSTOMERS.

The team here is incredibly kind and helpful, making every visit as smooth as possible. I have extreme dental anxiety due to past traumatic events, but the staff always goes above and beyond to put me at ease. They take the time to explain everything and ensure I'm comfortable throughout the entire process. I highly recommend Champions Gate Dentistry to anyone, especially if you're someone who struggles with dental anxiety. They truly care about their patients!

She made me feel right at home as a new patient, and went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable and cared for. I've had bad experiences with dentists in the past so I am truly lucky to have found this place, and had the pleasure of working with Berna. Negative experience: Waited for months for an appointment. Got a call today to reschedule for another appointment bc the doctor is not going to be in. The reschedule was for an appointment in 2 more months. What a practice… get a partner or say you’re not accepting new patients.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Zogaib and the entire staff were FANTASTIC! I can honestly say that I actually look forward going to the dentist now… The staff are all friendly and super helpful and Dr. Zogaib listens attentively and makes very logical and efficient suggestions. I appreciated my visit with them this past week and look forward to having the rest of the family visit! Thank you!

Negative experience: Back in November 2023 went in to pull tooth out, they talked me into doing a root canal and will check with Cigna to be approve. I said okay if they cover it. 4 months later I get a bill for $1544 and found out on top of that they did a full cleaning instead of a regular cleaning that was $400 included on that bill. I called over 3 weeks ago and explain the situation why you guys not tell me that Cigna did not cover and on top of that I sated I would never do a full cleanup especially is not covered by Cigna. I have missing teeth and 66 yrs old I said why would I agree to that. Finish by saying this till today no call back from manager or anyone in authority over billing issue. I recommend Record your conversation before any work done, I wish I did.

Negative experience: Please don’t use this dentistry for any service.they are cheat they billed to my insurance co twice.in two different Dr’s name.i got deep cleaning last month they charged my insurance $750 twice in two different Dr’s name and one name Dr don’t even work there.so they billed my insurance co.&1500 for one time deep cleaning.

Negative experience: Don’t not waste your time with this dental office. Not only have they had multiple change in dentists they don’t seem confident in their ability to do any work. My son went there for a chipped tooth around his implant. I called to make sure they do this work and felt comfortable doing the work as not to waste my son’s time. They reassured me they deal with implants and their crowns. He went once and was measured for a new tooth and went back for the tooth. He sits down in the room and they brought him back up to the front with an address of another local dentist office because the dentist didn’t feel comfortable doing the work! After he already paid over 1300.00 for one visit! Also, several attempts at making an appointment and the office changing multiple times each appointment for myself, I went in today for a standard cleaning and refused to do because my systolic pressure was slightly higher. I called my insurance and they stated that for a standard cleaning no blood pressure is needed to be taken. It is also not a legal requirement as the dentist stated. My insurance told me that I can refuse any blood pressure reading or work I do not want done. It’s funny how they took all X-rays and had the dentist check my teeth but refused the cleaning. So my insurance can be charged and no X-rays can be done at another dental office. The front staff and hygienist were apologetic and understood my situation. Im sure as their track record is what it is this dentist won’t last either. They’ve had multiple dentists. The staff acknowledged this as well.

Negative experience: I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with Champions Gate Dentistry. I had scheduled an appointment with them a month in advance, specifically choosing a day and time that aligned perfectly with my work schedule. However, despite my careful planning and clear communication about my availability, the dentist unilaterally decided to move my appointment to a different time without any regard for my commitments. The day before my appointment, I received a call from their office informing me that my appointment had been rescheduled. To my utter dismay, the new time they proposed was completely inconvenient and clashed with my work responsibilities. When I questioned why this change was made, I was told that because I hadn't confirmed the appointment the day before, they assumed I was no longer available and decided to rearrange their schedule without consulting me. This level of disregard for a patient's time and prior commitments is completely unacceptable. As a busy professional, I meticulously plan my schedule in advance, including my dental appointments. By arbitrarily changing the time without my consent, not only inconvenienced me but also demonstrated a lack of respect for their patients' time and schedules. Furthermore, the lack of consideration displayed by champions, gate dentistry and their staff is deeply concerning. A dentist's office should prioritize clear and effective communication with their patients, ensuring that any changes to appointments are discussed and agreed upon in advance. Overall, I am thoroughly disappointed with the level of service I received from champions, gate dentistry I will not be returning to this practice and would caution others to think twice before scheduling an appointment here. Patients deserve better treatment and respect for their time and commitments.

Negative experience: This place is a horrible place to go. The staff barely speak English and the dentist canceled my appointment due to an illness several times. I do not recommend this place for your health care needs they will just give you the run around and work quickly to get you in and out without a care in the world to your overall health care needs. If I could I would give them a 0 for stars but I can’t so one I guess will do.

Negative experience: If I could give them zero stars I would. The worst dentist! My husband was in pain so I made him an emergency appointment they did X-rays and scheduled him to come back in another day, they honestly didn’t do anything. The appointment they made for him they ended up cancelling and re-scheduling 3 different times. Today he went in for his appointment in pain (as it’s been well over 5 weeks now) and they basically did an X-ray and referred him somewhere else. They treated him as if he was an inconvenience to them, didn’t care that he was in pain, and just did not want to help him. I would not recommend going here! Waste of your time and your money!

Fantastic experience: I have like extreme dental anxiety. This is the first time I’ve been to a dentist and felt like the staff truly listened and explained everything to me and actually cared about my well being. I have some work to get done but I’m so happy that I’ve finally found a dental office that legitimately cares.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to Champions Gate Dentistry since moving to Florida in 2020 and I’ve received the same excellent service every single time! I have since relocated to Lakeland and I still make the drive for my appointments! The entire staff is the best! Very kind, courteous, accommodating, and I can’t forget about the blanket they provide for me to be comfortable during my appointments! They are the absolute best! I highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: The best words I can use to describe this place are care, empathy and professionalism. First as you walk in, you have: Eley, she's kind, patient, professional, warm and welcoming. My hygienist: Maria (the best I've ever dealt with), she doesn't have a lot of availability but trust me worth the wait, she's soothing, kind, and truly understands one's nervousness and will make you feel that you are in the right place. Dental assistant Berna: she will listen to you and your needs, you're not just another patient as I've always felt she's present, she'll listen to my fears and helps me understands what's happening, we talk throughout the process until I'm comfortable. Dr Elizabeth Zogaib, she's got a very soft touch with needles, she's very understanding and empathetic. To all the people that I've dealt with here, thank you from the bottom of my heart, I know due to excessive gag reflex , nerves and past bad experiences I may not be the easiest client, but you all have made me feel comfortable every step of the way. I appreciate you all, keep being amazing

Fantastic experience: I have my favorite hygienist, but if I tell everyone then it will be even more difficult to get in to see her! I’m a patient for life, I will follow her wherever she works! Great staff, friendly and professional. I highly recommend and I tell my friends the name of my hygienist!!

Fantastic experience: My first visit to Champions Gate Dentistry and I was very happy with all staff. The dental assistant, the hygienist and the dentist all took the time to explain things to me, and there was no hard selling of extra costly services.

Negative experience: Absolutely bananas. Called a week ago because of extreme tooth pain from a cracked tooth made an appt over the phone because they said they can do extractions. They can't. So I just wasted a week feeling like trash on next to no sleep and writhing in pain just for the privilege of paying these fine folks 120$ for them to tell me they can't do the thing I explicitly requested over the phone and made my appointment/filled out multiple forms online mentioning the desire to extract a tooth. The information that they can't do this was only given to me AFTER they had billed the insurance $117. This place is a scam. If I could leave a 0 star review I would.

Positive experience: A provider is only as good as how their office is run. My husband and I had a visit on January 23rd. I had to wait nearly an hour before getting my teeth cleaned. When the dentist came in, they didn't introduce themselves- they just began looking at my teeth before they were cleaned, which I thought was odd. I didn't even realize it was the dentist until the visit was finished. Not to mention, they tried to reschedule my husband's visit for March even though we booked this appointment over a month in advance. The reason they get three stars is because their dental hygienists were very kind and informative. Now, post-visit, I got my explanation of benefits from our dental insurance carrier and I realized they over billed me, which is fine. It happens! However, the main issue is that I have called their office several times over the past few days and left a voicemail regarding my bill to seek a refund and I still haven't heard anything back. I heard a new dentist is coming to the practice, so maybe things will improve then. But as of right now, I don't feel comfortable returning if I have to waste my time trying to get money back that I am owed.

Fantastic experience: EVERYONE there was really nice and super informative. From the secretaries to dental assistants, to hygienists, and dentist, everyone was really kind and took the time to listen to all my questions and concerns. This is the dream team and I can't wait for my next appointment!

Fantastic experience: I had an issue in the past that wasn't pleasant. In fact, I had a fear of dentists. I am no longer afraid of dentists. From the x-ray tech, hygienist and dentist I received excellent care. They understood my issues; they were compassionate and gentle. Champions Gate Dentistry is my new dental home.

Fantastic experience: They are awesome!! Full disclosure: I am a pathetic, whiny baby when it comes to dentists. I've also had the worst experiences (think root canal without anesthesia, I'm not even kidding) so there's that. Which is why I want to say that I've never had such a comfortable experience at a dentist office. From the receptionist to the doctor, everyone was so very nice, careful, and accomodating. I'd almost say loving. This was only my first appointment, I'm going back next week for my cleaning, and for the first time ever, I'm not even nervous about going back. I can't recommend them enough!
