Fantastic experience: Really appreciated my first visit. Been to other offices in NYC and this was the most thorough cleaning I’ve had. There was also no wait. They also took my insurance which covered my visit which was nice.

Negative experience: I had the most disappointing experience here in my last visit that has caused me to discontinue being a patient. I scheduled a cleaning and exam and was only given a cleaning; and the cleaning I received was very subpar. The hygienist wouldn't stop talking the entire time, telling me about her health issues and her sister's health issues and the health issues of a friend of hers from high school, and it just went on and on from there. Twice, she asked me very pointed questions even though she knew I couldn't answer because my mouth is full of all of the tools and such while getting a cleaning, so I had to ask her to not ask me questions. Her focus was on her storytelling more then, my cleaning and she would stop the cleaning and continue on with her story as though that was more important than the task at hand. Her attention was so poor that at one point I had to sit up fairly abruptly and pull the irrigator out of my mouth because I was literally drowning, while she was going on and on with her personal business. She then, hurried through the rest of the cleaning, tried to sell me on the fluoride treatment telling me I needed it; so I had to stop her again amd pull everything out of my mouth and say that I don't want the fluoride treatment. She then, said, yeah, I don't really think you need it.It looks like you're pretty good here, etcetera. That sort everything gives me no confidence whatsoever in a practitioner. We finished, and she took me to the billing desk where the woman asked me how things were and I said, not good, because I was supposed to have a cleaning and an exam but only received the cleaning. She told me that I could have an exam if I would just ask for one -- and I told her i've never been in and gotten a cleaning without an exam, and that, in the online scheduling page, I had requested a cleaning and exam. I described to her the inattentive hygienist and the poor cleaning I had just received. She had no response to that as she continued to figure out my bill. Then she told me that the insurance covered everything.So I was good to go. So I told her that I would be discontinuing as a patient because of this experience today. Here is my 5 star review from 2 years ago -- since then, the quality of care has gone straight downhill.And I don't understand why: "I just love you all. In particular, Jo the Hygienist is thorough and kind and educational about oral health. I've been going there for years and we'll continue for many more."

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Dr Wong, his assistant Rosie and front office staff especially Daisy because they’re all are excellent! I’ve been a patient for many years. Always professional, gentle and thorough. Dr. Wong matched the color of my crown perfectly and it fits well. The crown was done with minimal discomfort during the entire process. Daisy is always pleasant and cheerful while handling the check in/checkout. Thank Exchange Dental!

Fantastic experience: The hygienist MJ was very friendly and professional. She instructed me how to care for my teeth. Dr. Staci Smith showed me what my problem was on the X-Ray. I needed a new crown. As a patient I feel confident under her care.

Fantastic experience: All the dental hygienists are very good; I had Raquel on July 15, 2025, and she was careful, professional, considerate, competent. She has cleaned my teeth before and she is consistently A+. You couldn't ask for more.

Negative experience: They kept harassing me and pushing me back for visit. Even if I blocked them they will change number to do that Will not recommend.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to The Exchange Dental for years. The staff may change but the service always remains top-notch. All my dentists have done some great work. I've been getting my cleaning with hygienist Mary Jean since my first visit. It was a very painful and bloody job, but I had not done a cleaning in more than 1 year, so I expected it and she has incredible bedside manners. To be honest, it felt good knowing how thorough of a cleaning I was getting. Now I make sure I go every 6 months and listen to their consultation, nice and quick visits each time! A+++

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Exchange Dental Group for about 5 years now. This practice is always clean, professional and they educate you about your oral health. They also provide comprehensive treatment plans and they break down all of the out of pocket costs. Before I was terrified to go to the dentist but no matter what I get done here, I know it will be pain free.

Negative experience: Apparently this group blacklists people. I went here seeking help after another dentist damaged teeth and has since retired. After the first appt they wouldn't schedule further followups or even a cleaning. Very unethical and unhelpful.

Fantastic experience: Always great, this is a premiere dental office. I have seen a number of doctors and hygienists, all of whom are the best at what they do. When my primary dentist--Dr. Young--is unavailable, one of colleagues will step in and coordinate treatment. The staff surgeon is excellent, managing pain very well. I have been a patient here for several years and won't go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: The exchange dental group has amazing professionalism and amount of dental resource. I had a tooth pain emergency and I was able to get an appointment on the same day. I was told that I need root canal. I thought I need to wait in pain for at least another week, but they were able to give me the procedure after 3 hours! The price is pretty reasonable, and everyone I met, from front desk to doctors, are all super nice. Unlike other dentistries I previously been to, they didn’t request me to start with full X-ray + cleaning, but directly deal with my problems. Very good experience!

Negative experience: If I could give a negative review, I would. I’ve been coming here for years purely out of convenience for routine cleanings, but my recent experiences have been nothing short of appalling. The behavior of the front office staff is unacceptable. They rushed my last appointment, trying to get me out in 10 minutes because they double-booked—a mistake on their part, not the hygienist’s. To make matters worse, they are extremely rude over the phone. These are the last people you’d want in customer service—completely unprofessional and lacking basic courtesy. They seem utterly miserable in their roles and unwilling to do the job they’re responsible for. Frankly, they should be replaced for everyone’s sake. I’ve had enough and am now officially searching for a new dentist. Thankfully, I only needed a cleaning—because trusting this place with anything more serious would be a risk to your health.

Fantastic experience: What a great team working at this practice! Everyone is friendly and helpful. Dr. Downes is my hero, I can smile confidently finally. She fixed one of my front teeth and a side tooth that other places couldn’t fix in the past. They look so natural and beautiful now. Besides, she’s such a genuine caring dentist! As a matter of fact, they all are very caring at this place. You’re in good hands here, no doubt about it.

Fantastic experience: The best dental treatment I have ever received-- and I have had many over the years. Everything from the pending procedure to the exact copay is clearly explained prior to the next visit. A plan is laid out and the patient has a voice. The best cleaning I've had, the best dentist. I'm looking forward (as much as one can regarding a dentist!) to resolving all my dental issues at Exchange.

Fantastic experience: Patient, attentive, and overall incredibly accommodating to the patient's needs. Removed my wisdom teeth and cannot underestimate how thoughtful and caring the staff at Exchange Dental is. Particular kudods to oral surgeon Dr. Shanin and the hygienist (forgot her name, but please thank her for me - 9:15 AM on 12/12 appointment) who assisted him during the wisdom teeth extraction.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Goldstein is so informative and I love that he explains things and is so knowledgeable and personable. Maria and MJ are amazing techs who make you feel at home. Sometimes dental procedures can be nerve wracking but when you have amazing personnel, they make the experience pleasurable.

Negative experience: I've been coming for years but the past year has been the WORST ever. The quality and customer service has signifcantly declined. They constantly overcharge and blame the insurance for limitations. I was given an inexperienced dentist Staci S. who not only was incapable of doing root canals and sent me to a whole other place but she couldn't administer numbing cream properly and a simple needle to my gums without causing major pain... multiple times!! Her attitude was awful - very dismissive and passive aggressive. Her dental work was subpar with both my crown and filling. A couple of unprofessional staff like Hannah and I forget the other one's name who rudely combats with customers over the phone instead of listening, showing empathy and having good communication skills. A special note: The only person that kept me going to EDG and is exceptionally diligent at doing cleaning is Jo (thank you Jo). I hope Jo finds a better employer.

Fantastic experience: This is such a wonderful dental practice! Dr Wimmer runs a fabulous, talented and gentle staff! My kids had their wisdom teeth taken out here, and it was fast and smooth. My husband had a dental implant and I had a filling done by Dr Yung who was fast and so kind and d plainer everything. The entire office is sparkling clean and professional. I would give it 10 stars out of five! Dr Wong is also just fantastic!!

I'm excited to be working with her to take care of my dental health (and I dare say it is unusual to be excited about dental visits). Fantastic experience: Very welcoming, kind and knowledgeable staff. You can tell everyone knows their stuff, from the front desk/billing, dental hygienist to the dentist. Thorough and efficient. The practice is kept very clean and pristine- they don’t cut corners when it comes to sanitizing anything. Dr Wong is very personable and doesn’t push unnecessary procedures like some of the other dentists I’ve gone to (and left) in NYC. He takes a conservative approach and practices dentistry with integrity.

Fantastic experience: Great dentist - very convenient downtown location. I used to live nearby, been going there for over 10 years, twice a year. My wife goes also. I’ve since moved to Jersey, I should prob find a closer dentist now, but I’m kinda lazy. I can trek out there every 6 months for a cleaning, it’s clean and I like it there. They always play ocean nat geo type videos in the lobby. Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: I have finally found a dental practice that I really like! The whole team is brilliant, starting from the hygienist to Dr. Wong. I Had back-to-back appointments this month, and it all went smoothly. But the front desk receptionist, should be a little more professional in his behavior.

Negative experience: I have been to this dental office for a long time and was overall happy with their service until yesterday. The receptionist Keith was very rude and unprofessional. I was late for about 15 mins for my cleaning appointment due to the train delay and there was no cell signal on the train. No one from their office ever told me if you were 15 minutes late for your appointment, it would be canceled even not in their appointment text reminder. Keith called me 10 mins after my appointment time and told me that my appointment would be canceled if i were not in their office by 2pm even after I just told him i would be there in 5 mins and he hung up on me. When I arrived and told him i was not aware of this policy at all, he then just kept LYING that they had told me this all the time and i was late all the time.. Instead I have usually been for my appointments on time or earlier. Sometimes I waited for a dentist/hygienist to see me for more than 15 minutes after my appointment time, which I never complained. The attitude and customer service from the receptionist Keith is just terrible and unacceptable!

Fantastic experience: I’ve used exchange dental in the past and they are always a clean and professional office The staff are all very friendly, nice and polite. Always very accommodating with scheduling appointments that work for my schedule. Just got my braces off and water to say a HUGE thank you to TED staff ESPECIALLY THE MOST AMAZING ORTHODONTIST DR WEEMAN!!! I know lots and lots of people who’ve gotten braces in other offices but I don’t think any of them have had an experience this pleasant (because they didn’t have dr Weeman ) From day one, he aimed for perfection I really appreciated how he worked hard to do do the perfect job in the shortest amount of time. He wasn’t dillydallying so that I have my braces on for longer, rather he took an effort to get the ball rolling right away. Additionally, I really felt that Dr. Weeman uses a very low pain method (which I don’t really know how it works that it barely ever hurt and he did it super fast ‍♀️But I’m definitely not complaining) I barely had discomforts for my braces which made a HUGE difference. I’m so happy with the results, my teeth look AMAZING Genesis, and all the other assistants did a great job always ensuring that all was well and I wasn’t in any pain. They were super happy to answer any questions I had at any point during my treatment. They were always very knowledgeable and helpful. Lastly, I really enjoyed that the exchange dental group has all Specialists under their one roof. I never had to run around to other dental offices which was super convenient and saved me lots of time. For example, the orthodontist felt that I should see someone about my gums so instead of having to start finding a new office to see a gum specialist and schedule an appointment there, I was able to stay in office and right away have Dr. Song, the periodontist, look at my gums and eventually do treatment (which he also did a really amazing job) So a huge thank you to The Exchange Dental Group staff for my amazing experience! Highly recommend a definite 10/10 I would give more stars if I could ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Negative experience: Get a second opinion! They will send you to every specialist they have. Never had so many issues with my teeth since I came to this practice. Had to return after cavity work. Was told I had a "potential cracked tooth and had to see a root canal specialist." They then prescribed antibiotics "just in case." They have all the technology for dental health and couldn't tell me what was wrong.... But antibiotics " just in case." My doctor damaged a tooth while working on another tooth. This practice is a factory.

Negative experience: The worse dental experience I’ve ever had in my entire life. I was sent home and told to take antibiotics while I had a massive swollen abscess under an infected tooth. No one offered a referral other than to wait 2 weeks to have their out-of-network Root Canal Specialist take a look. I spent less than 10 minutes with a doctor and got 2 x-rays done by the hygienist that clearly showed tooth decay/a major cavity and an infection that was deeper down and right on my nerve.

Fantastic experience: I've always been nervous to go to the dentist, but my visit was great and everyone was extremely kind and knowledgeable. Will definitely be recommending this practice to my friends or anyone looking for a practice.

Positive experience: I went here for years when I lived in New York and it was great they had office hours on the weekend so I didn't have to take time off work for appointments. The office is near the subway and located in one of those high rise office buildings with security in the lobby always ready to assist (providing directions, etc.) Appointments were handled by the office so I there every 6 months and one of the coolest things about the office is they had those pictures on the ceiling to calm the nerves for people who are nervous when sitting in the dentist chair. They also have a flatscreen TV in the lobby set to one of those nature channels (usually it was underwater sea creatures). They have a multitude of dentists who are able to cover for one another because one time, my dentist was out of town for the weekend so I was scheduled with her counterpart. Overall, a pleasant experience since they're like clockwork -- on time, go over assessments with you (x-rays), and patient billing and expected costs.

Fantastic experience: MJ remembers details about my prior visits and really helps motivate me to floss regularly. MJ does such a good job with my dental cleaning. She is so skilled and also very kind. I look forward to seeing her. Dr. Young is also very good. During my visit he went out of his way to answer all my questions about braces and Invisalign. The clinic overall runs very smoothly.

Fantastic experience: As someone with sensitive gums, I never imagined looking forward to a visit to the dentist, but Dr. Smith and her team may have found a way to change that. The accounting department is also strong and transparent, always provide clear explanations of the billing and insurance coverage.

Fantastic experience: update: I wish I could give more that 5 stars for my experiences with Dr. Zibuts at The Exchange Dental Group. I've visited her multiple times for different dental issues, and each time, she has consistently demonstrated exceptional care and professionalism. I am someone who has had negative experiences at the dentist and came in feeling anxious. However, Dr. Judita Zibuts and her assistant, Marjorie were kind, thorough and explained the process clearly. During my visit, Dr. Zibuts checked in several times to ask how I was doing and did a incredible job with my teeth. I highly recommend seeing Dr.Zibuts for your dental appointments! Update: I went back for a teeth cleaning with Raquel and she was amazing! She clearly explained everything and provided such good care and suggestions on how to take care of my teeth. Raquel was knowledgable and professional. I look forward to a future cleaning with her and I never imagined I would look forward going to the dentist. :)

Her assistance has made the logistics of my dental care seamless and stress-free. Overall, the end-to-end experience from the entire team was amazing, helping me know what to expect, feel comfortable about what was going on, and leave satisfied at the end of every appointment. Positive experience: I’ve been coming to this office since 2009. Jo the hygienist is absolutely wonderful. So much so that when my insurance changed I’d pay out of pocket for my cleanings. My insurance has changed so I called in to see if they accept my new insurance. The receptionist was rude and pretty much hung up on me as I was speaking. You don’t treat patients this way. Politely ask them to hold or kindly inform them that they have other patients they need to attend to. 5 stars for Jo and Doctor Albano. Please train the receptionists to do better. -Thank you for calling me back to address this review. I’m glad that customer satisfaction is an integral part of your business model. I hope moving forward there will only be 5 star reviews.

Negative experience: The associate who answered the phone on the morning of Wednesday January 17th was curt and unhelpful. Felt like she was rushing to get me off the phone and made me feel like my questions were inconveniencing her. I've heard good things about this office so I may try and give them another chance, but bad first impression.

Fantastic experience: The office is perfectly clean, pleasant, and the doctor is highly professional. I would recommend this place to my friends. I am really impressed! I had visited different dentists in the past for getting crowns on my implants, but doctor Judita Zibuts- Amrani did the best work possible covering my recent implants with perfect crowns. Again, highly professional work!
