Fantastic experience: As a first time patient, I was honestly so impressed. The facility is very clean, staff are extremely friendly and Dr. Mike is very down to Earth. He developed a care plan for my dental needs. They are very thorough, there are many images/x-rays and assessments conducted to ensure that you’re being provided the best care. They even collected my BP. The dental assistant was very friendly and talked me through everything! I felt like I was at a celebrity dental office lol.

Fantastic experience: I have severe dental anxiety. Everyone who spoke to me or worked on me, was incredibly helpful and supportive. They did everything they could to explain everything that they were doing to me, in a way that I could understand. They answered all of my questions and never showed frustration. The dental hygienist that cleaned my teeth was absolutely amazing. She kept conversation with me to keep me calm and she spoke the whole time. She needs a raise! The whole office is very clean and very welcoming! Definitely helped me a lot.

Fantastic experience: I am from out of town. Just drive 1,500 miles. I needed an emergency appointment. I arrived a 7am unscheduled. I was given an appointment within 4 hours. Once at appointment given quick exam, options explained and insurance contacted. I had a root canal in a little over an hour. No pain. Prescription ready. Bill was minimal. Most importantly staff were compassionate and helpful with a person in extreme pain. I was given all the procedures listed to take back to my home dentist. This was my best experience with a dentist. If I lived here this would be my new dentist. Seriously best care ever. Thank you. Terry

Fantastic experience: I am in Columbus for a work conference and had a terrible flare up in my gums. I called Grove City Smiles when they opened at 7:30 and they were able to get me in at 10. The staff knew how anxious I was about the dentist and addressed it so well. Both the tech and dentist were kind, approachable and understanding. Because I was from out of town, they also helped me find a pharmacy close to where I was staying for the week and called it in so I wouldn’t have to wait. Considering GCD is out of network for me, costs were reasonable. At the end of my appointment, I was given a partial refund because they didn’t do as much as the initial charge included. You simply don’t get that service everywhere nowadays. I wish Grove City Dental was home in my area- the team is incredible!

She consistently made sure that I knew what she was doing and what to expect. Georgia even put the ebb and flow of ocean waves on the screen over my head. Negative experience: Constant billing issues between them because of their participation in my insurance network. When I called them after talking to my insurance (my insurance denied it as patient liability 0 and instructed me to not pay the bill) they claimed that I berated their employees and dumped me as a patient. UPDATE: I did file an appeal with my insurance and I was found to be in the right.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I were referred to Grove City Smiles by a friend who absolutely loves them and mentioned how wonderful they are with her child. After my visit today, I can see why! From start to finish, my new patient appointment was amazing. The facility is state-of-the-art and spotless. Jami was incredibly thorough and explained everything as we went through the exam and cleaning. Their imaging and cleaning technology is truly impressive. I then met with Dr. Courtney, who was kind, professional, and took the time to clearly explain the upcoming procedures. Afterward, Ashley walked me through my options and reviewed my insurance coverage in detail—she truly went the extra mile. I also want to give a special shoutout to the woman at the front desk. When I stopped by last month to check the place out, she was so welcoming and informative, which made a great first impression. This is officially our new dentist! Thank you Grove City Smiles!

Fantastic experience: Easy scheduling with excellent availability that fit my schedule. They contacted me the day before so I knew what out of pocket expense to expect. The hygienist was knowledgeable, thorough, and addressed my concerns. The dentist was the same and even referred me to another provider for a medical condition that I am experiencing. They did not blow me off when I presented my concerns. Everyone is always so friendly and kind. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. A+ in care and Customer Service!

Fantastic experience: i typically avoid going to the dentist because i have such bad anxiety around it, i was nervous to go today. from the moment i walked in i felt incredibly welcome. everyone there was amazing, my dental hygienist (marissa i think) was absolutely WONDERFUL. got thorough x-rays done and was talked through every one of them. felt like my opinion was heard and valued and cared for. i felt very comfortable and my anxiety quickly was subdued due to the caring nature of the workers of grove city smiles. the doctor was amazing and thorough and helpful, and came up with a plan very tailored to my needs. i can’t recommend this place enough and im very excited to move forward with my care there!!! 10/10 experience.

Fantastic experience: first time coming here to get my teeth cleaned.They were super kind and very gentle on my teeth. My teeth and gum are more sensitive - but I didn’t feel any pain at all. They were also very reassuring! Definitely recommend this place.

Negative experience: Scheduled a first appointment to have a filling replaced. I expected to only have that done because at no point on the phone call was I told otherwise, but came in and had a whole work-up instead, including a cleaning, before addressing the small issue I had. To say I was not prepared for all of that is an understatement. The intake is like nothing I have ever experienced. While the hygienist was quick and kind, it still felt like a whole invasive experience, something I did not welcome but felt caught up in. They took probably 10 or more x-rays, a whole 360 degrees head scan, pictures of my face, and then wanted me to hold my mouth wide open with this metal contraption to take pictures of my teeth. The last bit made me very uncomfortable and felt extremely invasive. All the while commenting on all aspects of my teeth, mouth size, cleanliness, etc. Then they measured every bit of my gums for probably 5 minutes, notating this while another typed, also notating work done on the teeth, etc. In the end, I was there for 2 hours. I just wanted the filling replaced, but I would have understood a simple exam first. While I assume they have good intentions, this was a lot to bear on a first visit, knowing that I had dental anxiety which was documented and confirmed with the staff, and without any proper preparation. The good things I can say are really over-shadowed by this experience.

Fantastic experience: Very clean and friendly establishment. Felt comfortable from the front door. Staff very knowledgeable and explains things to where you understand it. Dr Craig was confident and gentle. Talks you thru the process. Very comfortable with her. Awesome place!

Negative experience: Nice people, till you complain about something, then it turns south real quick. I am still in pain from a procedure done about 3 months ago. Went three times to see if it could get fixed and they could not .Their answer was to send me to a different dentist who specializes in the type of pain I was having Also, the reasonI originally went for, after charging me a couple grand for things that were questionable, they wanted a specialist to take a look. Why didn't they tell me this in the first place? I am handicapped physically. This office is not handicap compliment. If you have money to burn, this is the place for you. Otherwise steer clear.

Fantastic experience: Grove City Smiles is a Fantastic dental office!! This was the best dental appointment/experience I’ve ever had. The staff is so friendly and professional. My hygienist Bethany was all smiles and such a happy person. She was gentle with all the yearly X-rays and gentle when cleaning my teeth. She was very efficient and thorough. Dr Jones was so bright and cheerful and very easy to talk to about all the concerns with my teeth. Dr jones explained my issues clearly and we came up with a plan. I knew what the timeline was before I left the office. I highly highly recommend this dental practice. My exam and X-rays were more comprehensive than I’ve experienced in the past. Showing me colored pictures of what the doctor sees really helped me understand what was happening with my teeth. They also got me right in for an appointment which I so appreciate!

The work has been good and reasonably priced. I had a problem with my dental plan. They were very understanding and helped tremendously to get it resolved.

Negative experience: I took my son to this place and they was very negative. They also was talking about what work needed done on his mouth in front of other patients that was in the waiting room… That was very wrong and disrespectful!! it can be a HIPAA violation for a dentist to discuss a patient's information, including their health status or treatment, in a waiting room where other patients can hear. This is because doing so could be considered an unauthorized disclosure of Protected Health Information (PHI). !! Never would recommend this place to anyone !! You don’t even deserve one star!!

Fantastic experience: I knew I needed a tooth worked on but who has time for that? Well today, I woke up and decided I'm done babying my tooth. I went online and scheduled an "emergency" appointment, which they had for today. I called to see if I could get in earlier and they said come on in! I went in expecting to have a root canal, and after a quick x ray was informed I only needed a crown! Very knowledgeable, quick, and no fluff. They explained what I needed and got to work like a well oiled machine. I couldn't be happier with the results and the way I was treated.

Fantastic experience: My visit was for 2 crowns. The crowns were digitally outlined & made in their own office so no silicone mold was necessary. I left with.permanent crowns adjusted perfectly to my bite. They were very considerate & gave me breaks if I did a hand signal. Felt nothing the entire time. Negative experience: Crowns and fillings that don’t match. Surprised me with a 700.+ bill, even when I told them don’t do the procedure if my insurance doesn’t cover it. Lots of money collected from insurance prior! Fussed at me because I wanted dark fillings replaced. I had good insurance coverage plus a benefit card. Didn’t offer to sit down and go over the charges and a why I owed 700 +.

Fantastic experience: Today I visited Grove City Smiles for a cleaning and a new crown. Jessica, my hygienist was wonderful. She even administered my anesthesia and I didn't feel a thing. Dr Craig and Justice did a great job with my crown. The office is beautiful. all employees are super professional. I would highly recommend this office.

Fantastic experience: I thought Dr Pappas explained everything that needed work. It was quite a bit of work and I will need him to explain again because there is so much to do. The staff, that I met, were friendly. The exam rooms were clean. I also like the fact that certain procedures can be made in his office. Dr Pappas was friendly. This was only my 1st visit. I have several visits scheduled in the future. So far, I have no complaints except the cost of future work. I doubt any one is thrilled to pay the Dentist bill after they had work done. I just want this completed. My last appointment I was not totally happy with the assistant. I felt she was unnecessarily rough. ️Today the Dentist and assistant did a very good job. They were patient and took their time to be gentle. I had never met them before. Dr Joan was very nice. ️Today a young lady named Justice work on my teeth. She was very precise and professional. I appreciated the time she took to make everything look good. Dr Pappas is still a good dentist in my opinion. I would recommend him. I saw Dr Pappas last week and he was precise & honest with me. I appreciated all the care that he and his staff provided. There are ample staff available to help with your dental care and waiting time is short yet he will spend all the time needed to explain things or take care of you. Call them & find out for yourself.

Fantastic experience: I’ve always been very anxious about the dentist. After having not been in a long time, I booked an appointment at Grove City Smiles. Everyone I’ve dealt with there has been fantastic but particularly Ann Marie! She has been fantastic at my appointments and has made me feel at ease and not feel bad about the work I need done. This was welcomed change from my previous dentist, where I had to get fitted for a new crown and have a temporary crown placed, then schedule a separate appointment to get the temporary crown removed and the new one placed. Not only is that inconvenient (aren’t we all busy?!), but it’s also unpleasant to keep disrupting healing gums. This process was efficient and the staff were all very kind. They explained the procedure while they were doing it and help go through my bill and what I’d be expected to pay in detail. The office was also very clean. Happy to say I’ve found a new dentist for my family and my dental needs. Highly recommend!!
