Today she had her orthodontic appointment with Dr. Cassandra Iglesias and her amazing assistants Dayana and Duberlys — they were all so kind, patient, and professional. They made my daughter feel completely comfortable and explained everything clearly. We just started her orthodontic treatment, and I couldn’t be happier with the care and attention she’s receiving. Highly recommend this office to any parent looking for compassionate and skilled pediatric dental and orthodontic care!

They are clean, they are friendly, and they now provide orthodontists services. Dayana is amazing she always so sweet to my big baby.

Fantastic experience: We’re currently here for my son’s braces and I just had to take a moment to recognize how amazing this entire team is. Duberlys and Dayana, the assistants, have been phenomenal, attentive, patient, and so gentle. They explain every step clearly and handle everything with such precision and care. My son feels safe and at ease with them, and that’s everything. As for Dr. Iglesias, I honestly can’t rave enough. From our very first visit, I knew she was the right orthodontist for us. She takes her time, doesn’t rush through anything, and truly gets to the root of the problem before moving forward. Every bracket, every wire, she makes sure it’s all done with intention and excellence. As a parent, there is nothing more reassuring than knowing your child is in the absolute best hands. We’re so grateful.

Fantastic experience: Amazing experience! I have been bringing my kids here for a while but today was the best experience yet. The dental hygienist was so patient and caring. My 4 year old daughter has never let them do X-rays nor cleaning and she was so patient and caring she was able to accomplish it all. The dentist was patient and knowledgeable! Recommend them both!

Negative experience: Scheduling appointments here is pointless. We had two appointments 8:30 and 9:30, we arrived at 8:20 and were the first to arrive. However we were not brought in until 9:30. They advised that they were verifying insurance - in which they had all that information on hand for 4 days that could have been verified prior to the appointment not at appointment time. If you are short on time I do not recommend as they don’t honor appointments times you will still be waiting a while to be seen.

Positive experience: Both of my children have been patients here for about 8 years. At the beginning this office was the most amazing office! Hygienists were so patient and helpful especially with younger ones. However, doctors and hygenists have changed many times over the years. The current hygenists are not as patient or friendly as before. I do have to say that recently I have had many issues with billing, insurance, etc. The person responsible for dealing with billing and insurance is the worst most disrespectful person in the front. Always on her phone, hides when a parent has a question or concern regarding a payment of a balance, will not speak to you as the parent with concern instead will direct her responses to the front desk staff as if you are not there. Never willing to help with “why” there’s a said balance rather she’ll look at the computer as if the computer has all the answers. While the office is extremely clean and doctors are helpful, the insurance and billing staff needs to get it together and be helpful and respectful.

Fantastic experience: Today I was with one of my girls at APDG. They did her cleaning, X-rays and Extraction. His treatment of her was special. The entire team from the Front Desk, Laura the Assistant Manager, attentive to every detail, very sweet and professional. Yenli the wonderful Dental Assistant, very patient and charming. Dr Melanie K the best. She made everything magical. Everything was perfect. Thank you American Pediatric. Thank you for making our children feel at home. This week I had an appointment with my two daughters for an extraction. Thanks to the assistants, Maria and Dayana, who were very sweet and professional. Dr. Bariyaski was lovely. The front desk lady was very friendly. Thank you, American Pediatric.

Fantastic experience: My husband, our 10-year-old son, and I recently visited the American Pediatric Dental & Orthodontic Group in Kendall on Friday, August 29, 2025—and we were genuinely impressed. From the moment we walked in, the front desk staff made us feel welcome and at ease. Diane, the dental hygienist, was absolutely phenomenal. She connected so well with our son and made his experience both comfortable and enjoyable. Her warmth and professionalism truly stood out. Dr. Roxana Delgado was equally exceptional. She took the time to explain everything in detail, patiently addressed all our concerns, and answered every question with care and clarity. We couldn’t be happier with the level of service and attention we received. I wholeheartedly recommend this office to any family looking for top-tier pediatric dental care.

Positive experience: The visit was largely positive, with the dentist and assistants providing excellent care. The 3-star rating is specifically due to the poor customer service received from Angelica at the front desk. She was very rude and impatient during the scheduling process, which was challenging due to work commitments. Though managing appointments can be difficult, customer service and patience are key to making patients feel valued and ensuring they return.

Positive experience: Kid friendly place and staff. Only issue, shouldn’t let a simple cleaning wait long in the waiting room. My appointment was at 12 . I waited 40 mins for a 10 min cleaning. Other the that I do like this dentist office.

Negative experience: Our appointment was scheduled for 10:00 AM, but we weren’t seen until 11:10, over an hour of waiting with no updates or communication from the staff. That’s completely unacceptable, especially with two kids. No one explained the delay or offered any apology. We left feeling frustrated, dismissed, and honestly questioning whether we want to come back. Very disappointing experience.

Negative experience: The service was very quickly, I don't think that the service was made with efficiency. It is impossible that a braces cleaning lasted 15 minutes.

Negative experience: Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience at this pediatric dental office. The dentist hygienist only spoke Spanish, which made it difficult for my child to understand what was happening or feel comfortable during the visit. If you’re working with children and families, being bilingual should be a basic requirement. I was also very disappointed that they couldn’t accommodate a simple front tooth filling before our trip, despite explaining the urgency. We needed quick help, and they weren’t able to provide it. I’ll be looking for a new pediatric dentist who can better meet my family’s needs.

Negative experience: My daughter had a dental extraction scheduled for June 16. However, on June 14, I received a text message informing me that her appointment had been canceled. Since the between June 16 and June 23. I have made several attempts to contact the office by phone and even left a voicemail, but received no response. Today, I was finally able to speak with someone regarding the cancellation. I was surprised and disappointed to learn that the next available appointment is not until August 21 more than two months from the original date. We had already waited a significant amount of time for the initial appointment, and the delay was frustrating, especially given that the cancellation was not initiated by us. While I understand that unexpected issues may arise, I am concerned about the lack of communication and responsiveness from the office, as well as the delay in rescheduling an important procedure for my child. This company is unprofessional and lacks compassion towards children. Especially those in need.

Fantastic experience: My daughter was scared to go to the Dentist before, but after I switched her to American Pediatric Dental she actually looks forward going. Doctor and staff are really great with kids. They move quickly to attend patients (which is great), and are very informative.

Negative experience: I called this place several times to get an appointment when I finally did get a hold of somebody. It took 18 minutes to try to get an appointment and I ended up ending the call without an appointment.. I would never do business with them If this is the way they’re acting now and I haven’t even been there. I can only imagine what the experience must be like.

Fantastic experience: Extremely happy with the care and service towards my children

Negative experience: The absolute WORST experience. Took my son here for three visits. First one felt rushed but I understood he was scared and there was a lot going on. Second visit I noticed the staff is rude, front desk is ok but they seem agitated all the time, the dental hygienists and assistants are all awful, very cold and not very nice, and the dentist was impatient with my son and when I asked questions. Even though it was my second visit it was my first time with this dentist and I was understanding that maybe I didn’t catch her on a good day. We had a follow up third visit for a treatment and I was appalled. I was told it would take 10 minutes for my son to relax with the gas mask, the dentist insisted on getting started at the 2 minute mark and was rude to me and horribly impatient with my child. I explained he needed to let it take effect, but she insisted he was the problem. I grabbed my child and walked out. From start to finish the place is a nightmare and that dentist shouldn’t work with children. I rarely leave reviews but it was bad enough to warn others.

Negative experience: Nothing was explained well to the parent and the service was dismissive. The actual dentist was good but when it came to the under dentists, they treated you as if you are always in the wrong. Do better.

Fantastic experience: My son is on the spectrum, so brushing, cleaning, flossing is quite a challenge, for anyone to help him with, including myself. We got to the appointment 15 minutes late (wardrobe malfunction) and they didn’t have to accommodate us, but they did. The doctor and assistant were both as patient as they were thorough and I’m truly grateful, that our experiences here have been as accepting as they have been productive. Thank you

Fantastic experience: My kids first experience at American Pediatric was incredible! My LO is on the spectrum and his dental hygienist was so patient and wonderful, it made the experience a lot better than previous providers. Also, they had a fabulous Santa come in to the waiting area and take pictures/talk to the kids there. It was such a nice treat and experience overall that I decided to also bring my oldest here from now on. The office manager was very helpful as well when it came to questions about my insurance.

Positive experience: The wait was a little bit long as they verified the same insurance I’ve had since I’ve started with their practice. Aside from that service was quick. The hygienist did a great job with my 8 year old.

Negative experience: Me and my children went to go get a dentist appointment. They gave us a appointment by 2pm but the office opened at 2:30pm along with that we waited a whole 1 hour and after asking they said "I already finished with the Garcia family its just they didn't finish their form", they had a bad attitude, were rude and didn't give a crap about peoples time or even the childrens time...

Fantastic experience: My so. When in for an extraction and a cavity filling. My daughter had two cavity fillings. Dr. Kucharski did an amazing job. My son has adhd and ptsd and they went over and beyond to make sure he was relaxed. They gave us the cutest containers to put the teeth in when they fall out for safekeeping and kids were happy to receive stickers!

Negative experience: This place is going good at the beginning, however for after appointments, my daughter will only be seen if her mouth is in pain or she’s bleeding the call center won’t properly attend you and can’t answer questions or the manager said “your daughter can’t be seen at this time” like what? Totally annoyed with this place.

Negative experience: Dishonesty and a ripoff. They performed a dental cleaning without properly checking that the insurance was going to cover it. Then when we claimed they said ( manager Amanda) that it was an error on the billing department and that it slipped through the cracks. Poor team covering up their mistakes and at the end the customer is the one that is truly affected. Stay away if you don’t want to be in this same place. Enough with the fraud in Miami.

My son is now more mature and isn’t so scared as he was when he was younger. They always were super patient with him and I appreciate that!!!! Negative experience: I've been coming to this pediatric dentist office with both my sons for a couple of years now. Sad to say it's my last time. Both my boys had appts at 2:30pm and 3:00pm. I was running 12 minutes late, when I arrived the receptionist, a Caucasian young woman with glasses had an energy the moment I walked in that was not welcoming at all. I realized I wasn't too late when I had noticed a paper on the counter stating it's to their discretion if they still want to take appts set that are "15 minutes" late which meant I was okay because I was 12 minutes late. Then she proceeded to tell me that because I didn't confirm my appointments, they decided to cancel the appts on their own. Then she said that she would be able to squeeze me in. I sat in the waiting lobby and heard her shout out loud to someone else, PLEASE DO NOT CANCEL APPTS BECAUSE YOU GIVE ME MORE WORK" it made me feel awkward and uncomftorble about my sons appts. Just felt it was very unprofessional. It was definitely something that could have been said and been dealt with more discreetly. The dentist, dental assistant, and receptionist who checked me out, we're pleasing and very nice despite the experience with the front checking in receptionist.
