Negative experience: I have been waiting for months for money that they over charged me for. I continue to be told it will go out on the 1st. Every single month it never comes. I call back and it’s the same spew. Why are you doing this to your customers and their family whom spend a lot of money with you?

They are always welcoming you with very nice smile and their positive energy. Brittany was the first person who took my xray and set me up for Dr Albert Ghazal. She was great. Dr Ghazal was the best of the best. He took his time listening to my concerns and made sure we are doing everything right. No regret driving over 30 min for the clinic. Very comfortable going there. Highly recommended.

The girls upfront can be trouble if you let them and Dr Joe and his nurse they're also trouble but just keep in mind you have to keep them under control lol Don't let them get away with anything. I especially appreciate Miss Makayla and Miss Kara, who are absolutely wonderful with my baby, Henry. It's like he has built-in aunts there, they're always so happy to see him while I get my dental work done. The atmosphere is great, and I'm always greeted with a smile. The entire staff is friendly and professional, making each visit a pleasant experience.

Fantastic experience: 10/10 experience yesterday, as always! I had a cleaning scheduled for next week, but am having some wisdom tooth pain and called to see if they could get me in any sooner. I was able to come in the same day to get a look at it as well as get my cleaning done in advance. Everyone was very professional, thorough, and kind, even with me being a last-minute squeeze in! I was also able to schedule to get my tooth removed for this week as well (as the pain is horrible). By far my favorite dentist office.

Fantastic experience: Honestly, this has been the best experience that I've had with a dentist. The office is comfortable, the staff is nice and thorough. Dr. Hanna helped fix some issues that I had with previous dental work. I'm happy to have found a dentist who knows what they are talking about and I trust them with my whole family now.

Fantastic experience: Dr. David Hanna DMD was very good as well as Haley. I will return on Thursday to check on the tooth that was an emergency extraction I am going to see what else they will be able to work on , possibility of implants where I have some teeth missing.

We didn’t even have an appointment when we stopped by, but the team welcomed us right away and helped get everything scheduled. We ended up needing to make several changes, and Karissa was amazing through it all — super happy, patient, and so helpful. She really went above and beyond to make the whole process easy. I’m very impressed with the service here and highly recommend this office!

She was so kind, patient, and made everything super easy. The whole office has been wonderful to work with, and today was another reminder of how much they care about their patients. We’re so thankful for the team here!

Negative experience: I'm a 67 year old woman. I lost a tooth and don't know what happened to it when it came out. I called for an appointment I spoke to 4 different people in 2 days. The last saying they would set me up with an appointment in early January and she would call me back. Nobody ever called back and I guess with my age loosing a tooth does not constitute an emergency. At least it doesn't hurt. Rethinking that maybe I should just go elsewhere

My three children came for their first regular cleaning and the staff was so patient and caring with them. My youngest son was a little scared and the ladies were very understanding and allowed us to reschedule his appointment for another day to try again. I have had dental issues and concerns for many years and have been very unsuccessful at addressing those issues on the account of financial needs as well as unable to break down treatment. Places I have visited in the past have been it's all or nothing and we can't help unless we are paid in full. Defuniak Springs Family Dental has been able to break down the treatment I need and they are affordable. Absolutely satisfied and will recommend them to family and friends.

From Makayla setting up the appointment and making things simple, to Brittany and Morgan doing my biannual cleaning, to Dr. Joe reviewing everything with me, everyone was genuinely kind and happy. It was such a simple process, the office was beautiful, and I liked that I knew every worship song that was playing over the speaker (and that worship music was playing). Though I’m not from DeFuniak, it was obvious that it was hometown people taking care of everyone. I was excited to go ahead and schedule my next cleaning!

I had a procedure today that I was nervous about and Sherry was so comforting! She even pat my hand and reassured me, she really helped put me at ease. Dr Toby was super nice and considerate during the procedure as well. When I had braces through Sandy Smiles I was able to complete most of my appointments at this office, which was a huge perk! Overall this is the best dentist office I’ve ever been to.

Fantastic experience: So I found out about Defuniak Springs Family Dental when they attended a Health Fair at my job. They seemed like a good family practice and I was already going to another Dentist at the time and my wife and I both wanted to change Dentist. So I referred my wife and kids to them since they were coming up due for a cleaning and they all loved them and said how great of an experience it was. I had my appointment today for a cleaning and exam and it was a great experience. Amy did my cleaning and she was very thorough and gentle. I haven't had a cleaning like that in years. She was very informative and did a great job at communicating me different things that she saw and gave great advice. Dr. David was very informative he explained what I needed to monitor. Dr. David and Amy were very Professional and down to Earth. I highly recommend Defuniak Springs Family Dental and I am glad me and my family switched to them.

Each step was explained in detail, addressing any concerns and ensuring patients felt informed and at ease. The procedure itself was surprisingly comfortable and pain-free, thanks to Dr. Hanna and his team’s gentle approach. The results are so very satisfying! The new implant feels and looks completely natural, and now it is possible to eat and smile with newfound confidence. The team checked on me constantly, holding my hands, they played calming music and the emotions they all had when the procedure was over really made me feel amazing! I can’t thank them all enough for giving me back my smile and confidence! I have my smile back and I never thought it would be possible!

From the receptionists to the nurse, the hygienist to the doctor, everyone was so helpful. They let my husband stay in his wheelchair so it would be easier for him. Fantastic experience: Yesterday July 9, 2025 I had the pleasure of Meeting the marvelous team at DeFuniak Springs Family Dental. The office is sparkling clean and inviting. I was met and greeted by Kara and Makayla like going to your best friends home that you havent seen in a while. During my exam Morgan Johnson hygienist started the exam explained the process and that she was fairly new. I would not have known she was new. She handled herself as if she had been at that office and had been in the position ten years plus just a natural. Friendly professional and just great! Holly Gross hygienist completed the exam while Morgan took notes. Dentist David Hanna followed completing my exam. Great friendly and knowledgeable the icing on the cake. Any time you call their office it's a great experience. The team is great everyone works hand in hand for an overall great experience Everytime. As a closing note this office does not close for lunch.
