Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this dental office. They stay open. Till 9am to 9pm which was a life saver for me. Front desk to the entire staff was exceptional, friendly, patient, understanding, and welcoming. What more can you ask for. I was so grateful how they treated my daughter and myself. You feel safe and in safe hands. I'm so grateful for these wonderful people and how well I was treated medically and how my daughter was treated waiting for me patiently to be treated. Tooth pain is horrendous but these folks got me and I'm all better now. Thank you so much team, I am truly blessed I found yall. ✨️ Happy Holidays .

Negative experience: Very rude and dismissive over the phone this is why I dont deal with Dentist I have pain in 2 teeth. They dont want to pull it they want me to keep 2 infected teeth I was approved for $600 by SunBit for them to do dental work. My only pay would be $197 they dont want to do the work. My appointment was for 4pm today. Now im not even going after how rude the lady was to me over the phone. Very unprofessional. Dismissive and argumentative. It's all about money. They dont care about the patient. Im the one dealing with this pain in my mouth not them. I will pull my own teeth I can order some stuff off amazon and pull my own toothe

The entire process, from the receptionist's assistance to the clear explanation of payment options and Dr. Olmos's attentive listening and diagnosis, was exceptionally smooth and professional. Negative experience: Came in to seek medical advice from a professional and ended up arguing with the receptionist, trying to give me her opinion about what I should or shouldn’t do when she hasn’t taken a look at my tooth, I was in pain and didn’t wanna talk and she had an attitude and wanted to argue on what the doctor could or couldn’t do, like I would rather hear it from the professional I’m seeking not you

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience! I have high anxiety and everyone was laughing, happy, and incredibly kind. The front desk lady i believe her name was leslie? Was so so nice! I got my tooth pulled and was in the car in under an hour. 10 stars if I could! Thank you for taking away my pain!

Negative experience: The only thing I will say, this place over charges and for what, they don't even do a great job. The dr was so unprofessional, didn't even talk to me, just went straight to the xray. While doing my dental work, the doctor and assistant kept laughing, flirting etc. As soon as he was done he left and the assistant is the one that talked to me. For what I paid almost 1200, I will say I will never go here, the dr didn't even clean my teeth right. And the lady in the front was okay, but talks to you like you're a child. I wouldn't recommend this place at all !! This will be my last time in going here !!!

Fantastic experience: I am so pleased with the service provided to my daughter & myself today. I expected a crazy long wait being that it’s an emergency clinic but the wait was short & they even fit me in as a walk-in. They were able to quickly remove a baby tooth my daughter had that was stuck. They also gave me a fair & honest quote for a tooth I have that completely broke off. The staff was friendly & knowledgeable & Dr. Salazar is very professional & personable. I would recommend them to anyone needing emergency dental work!

Negative experience: What a scam. Took my $100 cash and said they couldn't pull my tooth unless I paid them another $480. I don't have insurance. They never told me that over the phone. Would not recommend at all. Just a scam

Fantastic experience: My sister had a tooth that was basically destroyed bcuz of how bad she would grind her teeth. Shes been in pain for days!! I found this emergency room on google and called and they took her in which was pretty quick. She needed an emergency extraction and we arrived 1 hr before closing, And what happened!! They extracted that terrible wisdom tooth. She said they numbed her so well that she felt nothing. In only 1 hr she was out. She went from crying and screaming fo finally smiling again but of course pain pills gotta be taken we did sign up for a payment plan. $43 a month, $200 down. They have many payment plans but thats what we got accepted for. So overall. Front desk was super nice and informative about everything and the dentists worked fast. I highly recommend this emergency dental9am-9pm

Negative experience: I went to this emergency dental clinic on Sunday with a broken tooth and pain. They didn’t help me at all and said fixing one tooth would cost around $2900! I asked if they could at least cover or fill the sharp edge so it wouldn’t cut my tongue — and I was willing to pay for that — but they told me to go to Walmart or H-E-B to buy temporary filling material and do it myself. If that’s what I had to do, why did I pay over $99 just for the visit? Very disappointing experience.

Negative experience: My wife and I called last night. The person who answered the phone sounded drunk. Hiccups, long pauses like she couldn't think, slurring her words. I would never recommend trust this place if that is allowed.

Negative experience: This was the first time here and I WOULDN'T recommend this place to anyone. The only positive experience was with the receptionist, Leslie, I think was her name. She was very nice and informative. The doctor sat in his vehicle for over 20 mins while he had patients in the office and I know that because the chair I was waiting for him in faced the window he was parked in front of. He came in, look at the screen of my X-ray, didn’t even acknowledge me or inform me of anything and then proceeded to the next patient.His assistant also seemed like she hates working there. The lady in front was the one who gave me a breakdown of what treatment was recommended and actually made me feel like I wasn’t an inconvenience to see. Overall, I felt dismissed and ignored by Dr and won’t be back to give him my business . Fortunately, I found a new dental clinic who made me feel welcome and comfortable and gave me the treatment I needed for my toothache.

Fantastic experience: When I arrived to the clinic it was almost time to close but I was in a lot of pain so my fiance explained that to the person at the front desk and she spoke to the doctor. They received me and gave me meds to my pain go away it worked out really good for me so I feel really thankful for their professionalism.

They are amazing people all around. If you want to go somewhere and know you're in good hands, go here. I was so scared and they were so reassuring.

Fantastic experience: Highly professional at the same time making sure I was comfortable and able to make my payment with ease and understanding. Multiple Payment arrangements are available. I was there for a tooth extraction and I was super nervous-after a while I was so calm I fell asleep. Dr. Taoufik Faddoul is the GREATEST! not long after I had to ask if he was done and he was! I felt absolutely nothing. I am extremely thankful for his education and experience during the whole process-I trusted him right away. The young ladies who work there are outgoing and friendly and that helps with the whole process from beginning to end. I hope I don’t have to go back for dental emergencies but I must recommend them because I believe they are the BEST!

Fantastic experience: My experience was great. I felt as if they were on my side. They quickly got me in and assisted in finding a payment plan that worked. Once the dental procedure started they made sure I was comfortable. Then when it came action time, the dentist had my 2 teeth ripped out of my head, and had me stitched up in under 5 min. Fantastic experience: The dentist is awesome. He makes you laugh with anesthesia and without anesthesia. Gentlemen did my wisdom tooth no problem at all didn’t even feel any pain. I was astounded by the performance. His education is also a great college. He went to with my regular dentist. I feel like this gentleman needs a dentistry scholar. Award I’m not playing I wish I’m very the very best in the future and I recommend him then primarily any dentists within 78229 ZIP Code. I do believe that the emergency cost should be waived or have some kind of payment option on that due to the effect of the incorporation of that into the bill, but as a professional doctor with his multitude of skills, I do believe that I recommend him over a majority of dentist around. The root canal procedure was so smooth not even a pinch of pain or discomfort. He made me say goodbye to that too.

Fantastic experience: Im a big crybaby with bad trauma from dentists as a kid. I came into this office scared because I saw the "only patients allowed in back" sign. Because I usually have my husband or best friend with me to comfort me. After going to my regular dentist this morning and just being given antibiotics and pain meds and sent home, I was still in severe pain with the whole right side of my face hurting and intermittently going numb in places. I called this office and asked about the fees and told my husband that I wanted to get the tooth taken out. They got me in at 5pm (bawling my eyes out of course) Tiffany was an absolute sweetheart and comforted me the whole time and reassured me that I'll be okay. I forget who performed my extraction, he was amazing because he was regularly reminding me to breathe because I kept holding my breath while crying. They were EXTREMELY accommodating. I have lower back pain from a previous injury and abdominal cramps while laying flat. They made it work to where I could lay comfortably. You all are awesome and I appreciate yall so much. If youre skeptical of coming here, please dont be.

Positive experience: ive gotten work done here twice and i can say to make sure to book an appointment on the weekend if you can, the staff is sweet, helpful, and caring, especially if you have some dental anxiety, making an overall stressful experience better by just being kind & reassuring. on the otherhand the staff during the week are rude, careless, and talk mess about other patients in front of you while they’re working on your teeth, the front office ladies seem like they dont want to be there and you have to basically beg them for a note for work/school. never going during the week again id rather deal with the toothache. sure the same work got done but the experience matters when you’re paying costly fees out of pocket, you expect to be treated with care, but thank you for the weekend staff for being so attentive and kind!

Negative experience: Please do not go here. I had to report this office to the Texas Board. The front desk woman talks to you like a toddler like she is heavily medicated. The dentists seem completely burnt out and witnessed them degrading a person with mental illness. I don’t think any of them in this office have been in a position where we had to chose groceries and bills over medical help. And that was on full display last night. He didn’t numb me correctly but tried taking my tooth anyway. You are not to make any noise during this process. I thought by paying cash they wouldn’t treat you like dirt. By far the most unpleasant experience as far as professional settings go. I emailed the Texas board about this office.

Today my husband had to be seen as a walk-in due to his front tooth had fallen for the third time this week. Negative experience: I had scheduled an appt for 6pm today showed up at 5:40. Paid for my exam at approximately 6. Before I even scheduled my appointment I asked if they accepted my insurance. I was told yes. I asked twice. I get there, pay for the exam and the lady in the front confirms my insurance and everything. At 6:49 they finally take me to the back. Take two xrays and then disappear until 7:13 another lady comes in and tells me my amount is going to be $393 because I'm out of network. Not only did they waste my time but they wasted me paying $50 even though they knew I wasn't in network. To top it off when I asked the dentist how my tooth looked on the xray he shrugged his shoulder. I DO not recommend this place to anyone. They are scamming people. They want the cash. I asked multiple times if they were in network. The people in front of me all were charged 99 for their exams mine was 50. After I was originally told they were in network and I was only charged 50... how could I not think I was not in network. The dentist comes out. Says he can pull my tooth and then they come back and say I'm not in network after being there for almost two hours. They didn't offer me any other options aside from cash. I scheduled my appt during office hours for them to verify my insurance. I heard them tell multiple people, your insurance will not pay us, you'll have to pay us and then get the money back from your insurance. To top it off, the 50 was supposed to be for xrays and initial exam.... yet they still put a claim into my insurance for the man to just shrug his shoulders and then them to tell me I'm out of network. They need to be shut down.

Negative experience: I had a terrible experience here, and I feel obligated to share it so others don’t go through the same. I was in desperate need of help and made a last-minute appointment. I called ahead and specifically asked if they accepted my insurance. I even emphasized that I was coming from Hondo—a 45-minute drive—and wanted to make sure before making the trip. The person on the phone assured me: “Yes ma’am, you should have no issues.” When I arrived, the receptionist was extremely rude and dismissive, making faces and treating other patients poorly as well. I told her I was the one who had called, and handed over my insurance card. Her exact words were, “Ooo it looks like we may not take this card, but let me check.” After several minutes, she came back and told me they didn’t accept my insurance but that I could pay out-of-pocket. I was shocked and frustrated—I had called ahead to avoid this exact situation. That’s when she said, “Oh, we don’t handle appointment calls, that’s the call center—they don’t know what insurance we take.” After sharing some disappointed info, I stated “ how was I supposed to know that?” she added, “You know, not all dentists take your insurance—you’re going to pay anywhere you go.” Completely inappropriate and uncalled for. I was in pain, exhausted from the drive, and felt completely dismissed. I canceled the appointment, asked for my insurance card back—and she tried to hold onto my driver’s license. I left in tears, still in pain, and without any help or sympathy. Please save yourself the trouble. If you’re in pain and desperate for care, go to a regular ER or urgent care for temporary relief until you can find a real dental office that actually cares. I hate leaving bad reviews, but this was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had.

Fantastic experience: Was seen the same day for emergency care. Staff was very professional and kind. Care was fast and pain free. My vist went very well. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Positive experience: My copay is $50. If I were to have gone with the service the Emergency Dental Care would have increased my copay on their end to $70. Then the insurance would pay 90% of the cost of the job. But this company over charges to make sure they get the 2K even after the insurance paid. The dentist wasn't to supportive with working with me at all. I explained that I didn't like dentist because how horrible they were when I was a kid, ( blowing me off and canceling my appointments just to get free money) the dentist I saw was similar. His knowledge goes no where beyond the textbook of dentistry. Seriously, if there was an infection treat the infection first then do whatever else.

Emergency Dental looked at my mouth and pulled it same day immediately. If you are in pain and need your tooth taken out just go here and avoid all the hastle and delays. Im glad i came here!

Negative experience: The receptionist is great! The Dentist kept on flirting with the MARRIED dental hygienist he had no interaction with me other than numbing my jaw & then pulling the tooth. Neither one of them gave me any explanation about what to avoid as far as foods or drink nor what to do about the pain after words. Thank God I work for a Dr and she sent in a 3 day script for pain to my pharmacy.

Fantastic experience: Literally one of the best dental places in San Antonio hands down , the workers are the sweetest and they are so understanding of any situation and work with you if needed . I came in for Easter and they waited on me it was busy but hands down recommended this dentist office to ANYONE I’ve called other dental places to get the work done and NONE of them had an compassion i understand teeth work cost but it doesn’t hurt to work with people , especially low income people but this place they definitely understand and they have compassion

Fantastic experience: Went in with swelling and pain, receptionist was very helpful in explaining payment options and prices for procedures. Wait time was quick, Staff really show they care and make you feel comfortable. Dr Olmos was absolutely great !!

Fantastic experience: quick to get in and out, liked that i was able to focus on my concern only vs regular dentist would've written up a plan for every little thing that could be fixed. went to get a broken tooth pulled and they did it no problem

Fantastic experience: When I got there, I was in serious pain and having a lot of anxiety,, but I was treated quickly, carefully, abd compassionately by Lyndsy, Ashley, and Dr Salazar. I really can't say enough good things about them. They listened to my concerns and my fear lessened right away. I highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I went in for wisdom tooth pain, was pulled out same day. The staff is awesome. Punctual. Friendly. Prompt!! Process is affordable. I honestly didn't feel a thing with anesthesia. Shots were just a slight pinch. Tooth removal took all but 7 mins. Dr. Salazar is awesome and fearless. Thank you everyone for your help. I will be back when in another dilemma

Negative experience: The star does not reflect the services I received at this location. It reflects that Emergency Dental Care USA owes me a refund for services in which they overcharged. My procedure was done in August of 2024 and it is now April 2025. I have sent numerous emails, made several phone calls and have been back to the location multiple times to only be told by Lindsey and Karen that they would forward my emails and requests "up the ladder" for my refund to be issued. It was confirmed that I was on a "list and highlighted in red". I was also advised by a staff member that I would need to contact the police, file a report and possibly sue in order to get my overpayment back. SMH... The services were ok. The receptionist I had at the time of my procedure is no longer there but she was absolutely outstanding. For those of you reading this review, I would be leery of this facility. They do not issue refunds timely and give you the run around to get your money back. Is it worth it to you to pay your money to a facility that, in turn, will not refund you when they overcharge for services?
