Positive experience: Ok today I had me a dentist appointment it was not a walk in it was a actual dentist appointment I have been experiencing bad experiences since I had started becoming a regular patient here when I first started everything was great the communication the time in the office everything now it’s all gone downhill I say give them about 6 months and you will start seeing some issues forming lack of communication wait time is very slow I was there for 2 hours just to be told that when I got in the back that they couldn’t find what was need for me the excuse was there was too many items in that particular area no apologies or anything they figured since I had another appointment to get to it was acceptable behavior on there part and it didn’t matter on the inconvenience that was done on my end by them that was the second time that they had done that to me without any type of apology when I always get to my appointments on time

Negative experience: The front staff and dental assist was amazing but the dentist himself was really mean and egotistical. He didn’t explain anything, he just made me feel bad and was condescending. Literally go anywhere else!!!

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience at this dental office. From the moment I walked in, the entire staff was incredibly kind, patient, and welcoming. The doctor was super nice and made me feel completely comfortable throughout my visit. He’s the lead dentist there, and you can truly tell he cares about his patients. What stood out to me the most is that they went above and beyond to make sure I got everything I needed done , even though they had to close early. They were so understanding, never rushed me, and made sure I felt taken care of the entire time. The office is flexible with their scheduling and the days they’re open, which makes a huge difference. I left feeling extremely pleased and confident in the care I received. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a great dentist and an even better staff.

Fantastic experience: wow so far 5 stars, ok so it's a dentist, no one likes a dentist no one likes going to a dentist i know, but Dental Dreams has changed my mind ok, i had to wait past my first initial appointment of xray and cleaning and what needs done scare to do this. I went back, knowing i was going to get it, yes having some teeth pulled, i had too been a bit long one since i saw a dentist because they hurt too much, but i went anyway, i like to chew. Both times i went and was met by the most wonderful front desk ladies Shirley, Janiiya and Trinity, who answer all and know all that is needed as needed for your questions and if not they sure do find out for you, kudo's to them making you feel calm and welcome. Then I was seen by Dr Bonner, who both times not only explained in detail what was going on, but what was going to happen and if you are calm and listen he is 100% right. He performed the teeth pulls and no pain of course a few pinches of the needle as expected but you know that, the process was painless and fast it seemed. If you are afraid of dentists try these guys, seriously, calm down and just listen to them, i did for a change and it was perfect, i am day after the teeth pulls 4 of them and i feel fine now just waiting for the next step and can't wait. Thanks guys for reassuring me that going to a dentist is not as painful and scary as we remember it to be. Well 6 month visit with Dr Bonner went well did X-rays and cleaning no issues so another 6 months unless I have an issue it went so fast but was as perfect as usual sucks I have to wait 6 months to see them again.

Negative experience: Haven’t even made it in the back yet. I am currently sitting here in the waiting room has a 1 o’clock appointment. Asked if there’s any paperwork I needed to fill out as a new patient was told to sit down they would call me up. Watch a family of four come in after me apparently they’re known by the warm welcome they received that I didn’t. Well anyway watched them being called up to receive their paperwork to fill out. It is 2:05 I have to pick my grandkids up they get out of school at 3:15. I also had an appointment with pain management that I rescheduled for this and it doesn’t look as if I am going to even be seen. Very unprofessional I should have at least received and filled the paperwork out. This shishhhhhhh is diabolical . It’s 2:13 I had to actually go up to the front desk my name is LaJoyina Thompson look at how I was skipped over for people who appointments where after mines

Negative experience: This office is very unprofessional. I’ve been approved for a procedure since 6/23/25 and no one called me to tell me. I kept calling and the lady kept telling me the pre authorization isn’t approved once it is we’ll call you and they never did.

Negative experience: Worst experience I have ever had. Waited an hour and 30 minutes for my child to be seen. Receptionist don’t check you in until you ask what’s taking so long. I will never return here

I am highly inclined to make this dental practice my permanent destination, as opposed to the inconvenience of traveling to Hyattsville. The clinic’s cleanliness and the respectful demeanor of the staff were truly commendable.

Negative experience: The office isn’t very efficient, they are using paper documentation vs electronic means and have no attention to detail. Long telephone delays for scheduling and inefficiency with respect to wait times were experienced by the admin staff. The doctor was very helpful once I got to see him.

I am writing to share my recent experience at one of your locations in hopes of providing constructive feedback that may enhance the services offered to patients & to avoid legal suits. During my recent visit On May 5th,2025 July 15th 2025. I encountered several challenges with the administrative staff's communication and scheduling processes. Specifically, I noticed issues related to appointment scheduling, where patients, including myself, were placed in time slots that did not align with the services needed. Additionally, there seemed to be a lack of clarity regarding the availability of certain services, which led to confusion during the check-in process. I understand that healthcare providers often operate in a fast-paced environment, and I appreciate the effort of the staff in managing a busy office. However, I believe that improving the structure and communication within the administrative team is essential for enhancing patient experiences. For example, the process of checking in and providing all necessary new patient documentation took over 45 minutes. Also being told that procedures that was discussed prior to scheduling would not be able to be done. I then asked the office manager Sharphon all this was discussed over the phone, her response after asking to speak with the provider/dentist in charge of who will be evaluating my teeth she said “Well I am the one who will make the final decision”. which was quite frustrating. What makes it worst when I did speak to the provider and expressed my concerns he then lead to say “He then says feels insulted due to me thinking the back office operation’s are operating the same as the administrative front office,And I only can’t go off my initial interaction with his staff Miscommunication on scheduling on several occasions and misgendering and laughing when corrected shows a lack of training for administrative staff. Effective communication and efficient scheduling are crucial for ensuring that patients receive the care they need promptly. Positive experience: My appointment was at 11:30am. I checked in at 11:38am. I wasn’t seen until almost 1pm, but the front office staff were helpful every step of the way, from calling my insurance for verification of service to the dentist letting me know to call the office in 3-4 days to see if pre authorization was approved. Overall experience was positive!

Fantastic experience: First let me say the front desk people are amazing it doesn't matter if I come in person for my appointment or over the phone. Every time the staff are always pleasant and professional. I was sceptical at first only because I live in South East area so I expected ghetto ism ( if that's a word smh) because it's it SE area. Everybody including the dentist were amazing. I have an anxiety and so patient and professional with me. The only thing that might irritate some patients is they are not always on time with the appt times. But it could be patients like me who has alot of questions and they don't make me feel rush they answer ever question or concerns. I can only speak for my experience and my children experience and I have no complaints.

My dentist was very professional and up front with me. They had music playing and it relaxed me a little. I am going back when my mouth heals to have a deep cleaning. Had to schedule another appointment just for her to see doctor because he never made it around to her this place is just lazy and unacceptable

Negative experience: I was very disappointed at the way the Dental office is run starting was the font of the office.....I arrived early at 9:30 am for my 10:30 am appointment, because I was a new patient there. I knew I had to fill out paperwork,, I didn't get seen until 12:30 pm. Not to mention that people where just walking in and where seen before me. I will not recommend this Dental office to any of my family or friends.

Fantastic experience: Front end staff are kind and professional and very friendly. The hygienist is kind and professional. My dentist, simple awesome! He is approachable and personable. He is diligent in correcting every problem we may have regarding oral hygiene. He is gentle and quick.

Negative experience: They tore my mouth up. The dentist look Arab or middle eastern did my fill in, he misaligned my jaw and I have issues with sensitivity still . When I asked for the doctor who I usually come and see to help me out he refused to see me .his name was Dr. Maseek I was very disappointed. Will NEVER come back here.

Negative experience: Unprofessional & ghetto. My son had a appt at 1:30. We got there on time. We waited a whole hour & a half without getting called. Seeing them call everyone else to the back before us, I finally asked when they would call him. The dr said 20 more minutes. So you want me to wait 2 whole hours to get seen for an appt that was supposed to be at 1:30. We left without getting seen and I will never bring my kids back there! Mind you I pulled him out of school early just for this appt. A waste of time!!!

Negative experience: I was not happy with the services that I received the wait time is extremely long had extractions done and there are a lot of cuts to my gum asked to why the reply was tour gums still have to heal but that wasn't my question. Will not be returning or referring any one to this business.

Negative experience: I understand business and priorities but I had a 9am appointment and arrived on time. We were not seen until after 10am...for a 7 minute visit. Again, I understand business in general but that's not a good method of operation and if you don't ask questions you'll be left waiting amongst the others.

Positive experience: (UPDATE AT THE 2ND PARAGRAPH IN ALL CAPS)They get the job done, but it comes with an annoying cost. The cost is waiting: had an appointment at 4pm, so I got there at 3:50pm, didn't get seen til 4:53pm only to get put in a relaxing chair and wait again to the point I started dosing off and wasnt their actual patient until 5:13pm. Which then comes the question: WHAT'S THE POINT OF MAKING AN APPOINTMENT?! Thankfully I didn't have to work that night or do it on a lunch break otherwise I really would've had to reschedule despite me being on time aka early. Y'all need some more doctorate dentists to speed up the process. UPDATE: 6 MONTHS LATER ITS THE SAME SITUATION. 4PM APPOINTMENT, NOT X-RAYED UNTIL 5:25PM, AND NOW I AM WAITING TO GET MY TEETH CLEANED AT 5:37PM AND COUNTING AGAIN, WHAT'S THE POINT OF MAKING AN APPOINTMENT?!!!

Negative experience: The service was poor with waiting times of almost two hours before being seen. The cleaning and doctor's exam felt rushed due to the high volume of walk-ins. No diagnostic or treatment plan was provided in writing or explained verbally. Overall, not recommended. We spent two and a half hours at this location and left feeling frustrated and dissatisfied.

Negative experience: Front Desk receptionist weren’t professional. They seem to not be to knowledgeable about how to keep track of patient appointments and when they arrive. I waited in the office for over an hour before anyone noticed that I’d already signed in when I first arrived and was waiting to be seen. Then had to complete a bunch of paperwork and was rushed into doing it because they were behind with my appointment. I ended up being the last patient seen for the day. Also, had to exit out of a back door because the front entrance and exit was locked prior to me exiting because the office closed before finishing with the dentist.

Negative experience: First thing I had to wait over 2 hours and half 2 been seen. In a cold waiting area.. then the dentist was not good he did a terrible jod cleaning my teeth . I cam still feel plack on my teeth. Also my gums have been red 4 2 days now n I have cuts all over my gums..

Negative experience: The Dentist was very rude and he did not wait until my mouth was numb before he try to strick the needle in my mouth It’s was the worse experience I had with a dentist His name is Dr Hawa I did not receive the service that I went there for I left in now I need to found another dentist

Negative experience: I was sitting in the dentist office for an hour and a half maybe 2 hours and still did not get called people that came in after me was getting cold the young ladies at the desk scratched my name off the sign in sheet and had me sitting there for almost 2 hours didn't call my name to the front desk or didn't call my name to the back I'm kind of upset because I was on time

Negative experience: My disabled mother who is traveling via Metro Access had a 9am appointment today January 14, 2025 she arrived at 8:30 no one was in the office. Which forced her her to have to wait outside in the 25 degree weather! When someone finally arrived 5 minutes after 9am she signed in and began to wait while others who walked in after her were seen. A hour went by and her return ride arrived to take her home and she STILL had been seen. She wasn’t offered a make up appointment or a reason as to why she wasn’t seen in the hr or more that she waited! This is beyond unacceptable! And I will be calling the office to speak with a manager first thing in the morning.

Fantastic experience: This is my dentist's office ; this visit was noticeably better. The reception staff was more engaging, more accommodating andmorepersonable. I was actually seen 10 min b 4 my app't time. The entire operation ran like a well tuned machine. I can't wait for my next visit!

Fantastic experience: I had a 9:30 am appointment with Dr. Chi at the Minnesota Avenue location. I arrived at 9:10 and yes I received a warm greeting at the reception desk from Trinity who was so kind and helpful. I completed my paperwork and I was called to the back by the dental assistant Janiece. I thought to myself OMG she’s friendly too! I was seated and had X-rays taken. Let me tell you… Janiece is highly skilled and very patient, efficient and caring she didn’t skip a beat! Then, in came Dr. Chi so AWESOME I had an exam, cleaning and 2 cavities and I had them filled. Dr. Chi explained the process step by step and there was absolutely NO PAIN!!! When my service was complete I checked out with Artina, what a GEM!! She gave me follow up instructions with clarity and asked if I had any questions, she was super pleasant and professional, I just love to see it!! I was in and out approximately 1.5 hours. I look forward to my next visit at this location with this staff in my community! Great Work!!

Negative experience: I had an extremely disappointing experience at Dream Dental, and I will not be returning. First, the front desk staff is unprofessional and argumentative. They were yelling over patients and arguing openly, which created a chaotic and uncomfortable environment. Additionally, the overall atmosphere of the office is disorganized, and it feels like no one is in charge—there’s a clear lack of leadership. My personal experience was frustrating from start to finish. I called two weeks before my appointment to confirm they offered basic teeth cleaning, and they assured me they did. I arrived on time for my appointment, checked in, and the front desk staff called my insurance to verify coverage. Despite this, the proposed treatment plan initially included services that weren’t covered, and I had to point it out myself for it to be corrected. After waiting for over an hour, I was finally seen by the dentist, who was rude and dismissive. He didn’t greet me or explain the process but immediately stated that the services suggested by the front desk weren’t sufficient. He insisted on additional services before doing a basic cleaning, which contradicted what I was initially told. He then left to "discuss" the matter with the front desk staff and never returned. I waited alone in the examination room for another hour without any communication or updates. At that point, I decided to leave because it was clear that the office was completely disorganized and didn’t value my time. I cannot recommend Dream Dental to anyone. The lack of professionalism, poor communication, and disorganization make it a place to avoid.

Their not rude, and these young women help in any way they can, But I don't like the long wait It's always a long wait They might need more dentist. But the customer service is wonderful! They have a play area for for the kiddos! They could have a vending machine

Negative experience: My mom has a terrible experience with the dentist. He kept rushing my mom. My mom kept telling him how she felt about the tooth after the filling but he wouldn’t listen to her. After the filling my mom couldn’t eat for 2weeks she’s was so uncomfortable. I had to call the office and they brought her in to fix it. Yet she said it was so uncomfortable.

Positive experience: Instead of verifying my insurance information from the back of my insurance card. They went through the district government whom I do not have insurance. I found another dentist who did go through the information on the back of my card and it was verified that I had insurance and he performed the service the same day. Sometimes you just have to listen to the patient

Fantastic experience: The staff are great, the wait time was very good and I love their teamwork and energy. Overall it is a good experience every time we visit. We started coming here in November 2023 and I love the convenience and environment.

Negative experience: What’s point of making appointment if you nor gone be seen untill 2 hrs later . Worst communication . Front desk staff need ne fully trained . Lobby needs to be cleaned … trash on floor in the playroom

Fantastic experience: I had a really good experience. There was a hold up with my insurance(not the dentist office fault) but the wait wasn't too bad. (I'm slow at filling out forms hahah) The staff was very nice and helpful. The doctor was very personable, knowledgeable, and transparent with my diagnosis (I had mouth pain). This will continue to be my dentist from now on.
