Fantastic experience: This was my second appointment with Southern Smiles Dentistry. Very friendly atmosphere and very well kept. The people are friendly as well. I felt very good and comfortable. Dana was my hygienist and did a great job. I will be going back again

Fantastic experience: Angela is the best hygienist! She has been cleaning my teeth for years and I have never had a single complaint. Dr, Krempa is the real deal. I had a friend complaining about her dentist who is always try to get her to have unnecessary dental procedures, etc. Dr. Krempa has never tried to push/sell any products or procedures. I will never see another dentist so they are stuck with me for life!

Fantastic experience: Everyone was extremely kind, very professional without making me feel dumb or ashamed of my dental situation. EDITED TO ADD: I've had extreme fear of going to the dentist for years. I have been to Southern Smiles several times now and while I stand by my first review, I will say they're not great at the sedation part of sedation dentistry. I know you can be put under for even just a cleaning. Most people might find that extreme--however, because of my extreme fear and anxiety, I want to be put under. I want to feel nothing and remember nothing. But when I'm having to insist on laughing gas and crying in the chair because they didn't let the numbing gel sit long enough before giving me shots in my gums (before my root canal)? I don't think they'll put me under.

The price was a little higher than some, but about the same as others. I don't mind paying a little more for excellent service. Hopefully their level of service will continue into the future

Fantastic experience: 3 years or so I became a patient with Southern Smiles. I was very nervous and didn't know what to expect. Everyone was very pleasant. They made me feel very comfortable and safe, being that I deal with anxiety and PTSD. They were ALL very comforting and reassuring at every visit. Went today for my 6 month cleaning and as usual, Dr. Krempa's staff were terrific!!! I would recommend anyone to them. Thank you S.S, love you guys!!

Negative experience: Comparatively, painful cleaning and doesn't like to use suction very often. The receptionist waited until the end to tell me that they were not credentialed with BCBS so I would have an out of pocket cost. Never have had to pay a dentist office before for a cleaning visit until this office. Will be highly recommending against this kind of dishonest, sneaky practices.

He spent at least 30 mins with me explaining every detail of what needed to be done and answering every question I had. My second visit is when the work began. He was just as kind as the first visit. I can't say enough good things about him and his assistant, Cloe. She is so sweet and patient. The office staff is also very welcoming.They really are a great team. I highly recommend Dr Krempa and staff for all your dentistry needs! 10/10.

Fantastic experience: I am somebody who is petrified of going to the dentist and have put off going for years because of it. When I came in I told the staff I was feeling nervous and every single person I came in contact with went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable, which is something I’ve never experienced at a dentist. Dana did my teeth cleaning and explained every step of the process to make me feel at ease. Doctor Friedlander was very kind as well and answered my many questions lol. This was by FAR the best experience I’ve ever had at a dentist!! Thank you so much to all the staff!!

Negative experience: My experience was truly just upsetting. It felt very very rushed. The girls that assisted were very sweet and caring. But when it came for the man to extract my tooth, he just jabbed and started pulling and was truly too aggressive about it. Brought tears to my eyes. Everything felt too rushed.

Fantastic experience: Enjoyed seeing Dr Krempa and Dr Friedlander. Very informed, great hygienist and staff Angelia got left over cement off my teeth after 7 years of having my braces off! Cant wait to go back and get my teeth cleaned again!
