Fantastic experience: I'm happy with ultra dental! I finally feel like I found the right place for me!! Staff is informative and friendly!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Ahn and Dr. Perez always take such great care of me when I come in to see them. Whether it’s for a routine cleaning, filling, or composite bonding I always leave with healthy/happy teeth, and a smile on my face. They have a great team/staff that make you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. I recommend them to all my friends, family, and anyone in need of a new dentist.

Negative experience: Updated: went to a different clinic, kept their word and have insurance. Guys the bait and switch has to stop. Their staff was wayyyy friendlier too! Good luck! Literally just need a chip filled in front of my teeth, I had exam at other location and they want upfront exams just to get the work done. Worst yet, they charge the exam after advertising free for those WITHOUT insurance. Literally gave this place a second shot after they changed over from the terrible Alpha Dental, same clinic, same standards, false info at the very least.

Fantastic experience: Very nice place, clean and warm atmosphere. The personnel is very friendly and knowledgeable. My Doctor dr. CYE is great.

Negative experience: Chose this dentist due to the great rating. No complaints reference my visit. Made a follow on appt. Received no notification or confirmation request prior to follow on appt. Called day before to confirm appt, was told it was cancelled. They could not tell me who or why it was cancelled. Zero explanation and zero interest in figuring out how or why it was cancelled. Very frustrating. That's not good business.

Fantastic experience: I never review places, and have never once thought a dental visit could be as good as they have been here - with Dr Kai and Dental Assistant Danny. Both individuals are each spectacular in their fields and extremely knowledgeable. Importantly - I felt 0 pain from any of the needles. And I’ve equally experienced no pain during the procedures, or after! Considering I had a root canal and an extraction, that’s huge!! No pain ever, and perfected end result. What more can you ask for? If you’re looking for a dentist that’s going to make you look at dentistry in a way you never knew was possible, because you’ve had bad experiences in the past like me, you’ve found the right place. Trust. The systems they use for tracking patients, assist greatly in overall patient care and feeling like your individual experience has been given thorough attention and consideration. The partnered financing option was great and the front desk has been excellent and always ready to answer all of my many questions. This establishment has earned my trust and even when I move to another state, I will be flying here to get any work done. If you’re a new patient, give this place a shot. It’ll be great! Negative experience: I went there thinking YESSSSSSSSSS this is the place. I have an infection in my tooth and I was given antibiotics. I have been taking them for a week and it seems like the infection spread, so I ask for a stronger antibiotic and I was told that they couldn't. I'm having ear, neck and jaw pain. I just cancelled my appointment to go to a ER DENTIST. I can't spend the weekend at work in pain like this.

Fantastic experience: I couldn't be happier with my great experiences here at Ultra Dental. Dr. Kai is absolutely the very best all the way around. He is patient with questions and excellent in clear communication and thoroughness when answering as well as being very caring and personable in his manner. You absolutely cannot do any better in choosing a dentist than Dr. Kai.

Negative experience: Don’t come here unless you wanna be lied to I was given a price of how much it was gonna cost. It seemed all well and professional then I was told I can do payment plans And then sure enough behold lies. The staff doesn’t know anything they don’t notate anything. I have written documents of what was said to me and my girlfriend and then I took time off of work. My time is just as precious I took PTO that was much needed for something else so I can come down and They can do work on me And nothing was done just another time that I have to set aside to come back again and nothing is gonna happen. Don’t ever come here unless you want this kind of treatment.

They texted me saying I can come early, sat me in the dentist chair as soon as I arrived without any wait, did a stellar job cleaning my teeth and removing plaque, and will extract all four wisdom teeth for an amazing price. It was great. The employees were really nice too.

Fantastic experience: I had an infection on my back molar and I had went to another dentist the day before. I couldn’t eat, drink, or even touch the tooth without having the worse pain and screaming. They refused to pull it out since I’m young. My mom had called this office and they thankfully got me in the next morning and agreed to pull it. The lady we had talked to on the phone was so nice and went over all payment options and my options with me in detail. There was an assistant to Dr.Calaway with blue hair who was so nice and careful with the x-rays not to hurt my tooth. She went over recovery with me in detail so I wouldn’t not do anything. And finally Dr.Calaway was such an amazing doctor. He made sure I was comfortable and completely numb so I wouldn’t feel him pulling it. He even took breaks if I needed it, he got the tooth out in less than 10 minutes and once it was out my jaw felt like a pain was gone. He was so nice to do it cause I haven’t had any pain since. Even with recovery

Fantastic experience: I HIGHLY recommend this place-especially to anyone who suffers from severe anxiety. My mouth does not take well to novocaine and I've been through heck and back trying to explain that to dentists and they don't understand and are judgemental about it. Because of this I have developed extreme anxiety at the dentist. I found this place on a whim and I'm so happy I did. Dr. Kai is absolutely amazing at his job-understanding, patient, thorough, and talks with you about all of your options and makes you feel the most comfortable that you can. Fantastic experience: I of course don’t enjoy going to the dentist. BUT, Ultra Dental and the staff make it so easy and tolerable. The dentist and the whole team here are sweet, funny and it's not the usual sterile dentistry. I will only go to this dentist for the environment and professional, yet wonderful experience.dr. Kai and Adriana work so well together. They really treated me like I was the only one in the office during each of my appointments. I truly recommend this dentistry. .

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Ultra Dental. I went to the Peoria location as a new patient and had a stellar experience. From the time I walked in until the time I left I felt valued and cared for. I had some dental concerns and the dentist addressed those concerns with straight forward solutions. Not once did I feel like any extra services were being pushed on me (something I have encountered in the past with other dental offices). I wanted to update my review to include the incredible service I received today from Dr. Kai and his dental assistant Adriana. I had an onlay removed, unexpected cavity, and fitted with a temp crown. I was very anxious prior to my appointment, but Adriana put me at ease right away. Dr. Kai performed all dental work pain free (even the dreaded numbing shots did not hurt). Everyone was so nice and I feel much better about future dental work needed.

Fantastic experience: I was helped by the assistant Danny and Dr. Kai. Both were fantastic as their jobs. I felt that the care that I received at this office was MUCH more thorough than other dentists that I have gone to in the past. I have a permanent retained (bottom and top), and Danny got both of these the most clean that they have every been. Dr. Kai found some cavities (although he didn't say this, I think these cavities may have been missed by my previous dentist) and showed me where they were and what they looked like while explaining how they likely occurred and how he will fix them. Dr. Kai is seemingly pretty young, which is awesome because he also appears to be very up to date on the latest treatment and recommendations. Love this place, and will definitely be going back.

Negative experience: I had a family member go to this office for wisdom teeth removal. He was given medicine for pain, then numbed then was given his last shot and all of a sudden he went into a seizure and 911 was not called. The dentist didn't come it was just the assistants they had no idea what to do they said it was his fault he held his breath but now refusing to do his wisdom teeth removal ever but they will do his deep cleaning very shady also after looking at the reviews interesting how they only respond to good ones and bad ones get removed let's see if this one gets removed to. Also they said will only charge half for the removal like you didn't remove anything and acted like no big deal about the seizure. He has no history of seizures so hmmm

Fantastic experience: I have had a recent horrible experience with a dentist. I found Ultra Dental yes I was nervous and in a large amount of pain. I have to say they are amazing, went over everything and options actually spoke with the dentist not just a technician. Letting the Dr know I had a previous bad experience, he was patient gentle and kind. Kept asking if I was ok and can I feel anything. Then told me ok the tooth is out and I had no idea no cracking noises NO PAIN. Even afterwards I felt good. I highly Recommend Ultra Dental I plan on continuing my dental care with them. Negative experience: Staff was friendly but wasted my time. Was scheduled for just a cleaning as a new patient. Dentist looked at my teeth and said yup we can do your cleaning - then the assistant tells me we can’t do my cleaning today because they are running more than an hour behind. I understand stuff happens but I’d rather have been called and had my appointment cancelled than waste my afternoon sitting in their office when they knew they weren’t going to do my cleaning anyway. Spent an hour in their office just to leave without having done the only thing I went there to do.

Fantastic experience: Doctor and staff were very receptive and helpful when I came in for issues with my recent crown work. They listened to my problem, asked questions then made the necessary examination to help me. I was very pleased with the overall experience.
