Fantastic experience: I had a temporary crown put in and it fell out. I called them and they fit me in right away. Jackie the dental assistant was amazing she took care of cleaning the area and crown and cementing it back in. She’s very nice and empathetic. She should be a dentist. I had the permanent crown done yesterday and it was very quick and done perfectly. Dr Leonardo with the help of her assistant Jackie were great.

Fantastic experience: Went to a dentist consultation tuesday. Needed teeth pulled. Had a consult with the oral surgeon today and he was able to get both of my broken teeth out today. The staff is always super nice and understanding anytime I have any issues and the dental assistants are always super super nice!

Fantastic experience: I went to Sachem Dental on Patchogue Holbrook Rd in Holbrook today for my exam and cleaning. I was very satisfied with my visit from start to finish. My doctor and hygienist were very knowledgeable and my hygienist did a thorough cleaning and was very concerned about my comfort during the procedure. I definitely recommend this office to anyone looking for a dentist. The only downfall is they’re a very busy office and you usually have to wait awhile to get an appointment unless it’s an emergency.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Sachem dental group in Holbrook for a few years on the recommendation of co workers. Today I had to have a wisdom tooth pulled, a procedure I was not looking forward to! The two technicians could not have been more helpful or reassuring. The technicians and Doctor made sure I was comfortable, and took the time to explain everything from pre to post care. Everyone in the office has always been professional and caring . I highly recommend Sachem dental in Holbrook.

Negative experience: Terrible experience. They canceled/moved an appointment without telling me & turned me away on the day of my appointment. This was booked 1 year in advance. I had the appointment confirmation text & showed it to them when I arrived. They said no, your appointment is tomorrow. Also wasted 2 years trying to get work done & all they want to do is cleanings & evaluations over & over. Don't waste your time. Disorganized and unprofessional.

Fantastic experience: Had a broken tooth, they got me in the next day! Dr Joseph Mazzola told me it wasn’t as bad as I had feared, fixed it temporarily so I could go take care of some family stuff, and told me what was going to happen over next two visits. Very professional and good chair side manner. His lovely assistant was also a pleasure to work with ( her name escapes me at the moment). A pleasure working with everyone there, from the receptionist to the desk staff.

Negative experience: Sachem Dental Dentist are great however the quality of the receptionist and staff was substandard on 9/3/2025. I came for routine cleaning was informed I must take x rays. I informed the dental tech I had x rays 9 months ago I will pass on x-ray. Tech stated either I take x ray or there is no cleaning. I left after all I have no intention of receiving uneccessary X rays simply because I have good insurance.

She was terrific! She is so pleasant, caring and professional. She really made me feel at ease. Dr. Joseph Mazzola reviewed my x-rays and examined my mouth. He is very personable, professional and thorough. He took the time to explain what my treatment would entail going forward, making me feel less apprehensive. Fantastic experience: My hygienist, Taylor, was excellent. I have extremely sensitive teeth and she was so late with her touch, but got my teeth so clean!! I actually made my six month appointment with her! The dentist, I forgot her name, was very kind and caring. Very patient! I will be following up with her next week.

Fantastic experience: I took my daughter to the Sachem Dental Group in Holbrook for her first dentist visit. I chose them after extensive research into Pediatric Dentists on Long Island. After yesterday’s appointment I can confirm every great review. My daughter had a great time at her visit and is excited to go back for her 6 month visit. I was nervous about how it would go and those nerves went away quickly. The staff was a pleasure to interact with and everyone made sure my daughter was comfortable and had fun. If anyone is unsure about what Dentist to go to for their child please go to the Sachem Dental Group in Holbrook you won’t be disappointed.

I just unfortunately had to have all my top teeth pulled and had my temporary denture in place when I woke up and it looks great. I can't say enough great things about the staff from my dentist Dr Joseph Mazzola to the Oral Surgeon Dr Wu Zheng the oral surgeon who did my surgery, Awesome in every way!!!!!

(Kate, Damaris, Rachel, Cindy) And the ladies at the front desk (Patty, Diana, Meghan, Michelle, Kayla etc.) are fast and efficient and make you feel welcome. Consummate professionals here. Caring and considerate and CLASSY. I would highly recommend Sachem Dental in Holbrook/Holtsville to everyone!

Fantastic experience: Caring courteous professional staff. The practice is extremely organized and patient centered. Best dental group I have ever been. Had a root canal. They numbed the gum before the injection. Didn’t feel it. Entire root canal, no pain at all during procedure or after. Today had temporary crown done. Felt nothing. These guys are the best I have ever had. Very caring staff. I highly recommend them. Permanent crown has been perfect and I could not be more satisfied and grateful. Once again, outstanding, professional and efficient care. I’m 71 and this is the best dental care I’ve ever had.

Negative experience: Wow... what can I say there is nothing like getting billed for a cleaning you did not go to for an appointment you did not make yourself.. This cookie cutter dental group has some of the rudest billing team staff I have encountered as a consumer. I was billed 75.00 for a cleaning appointment I did not make. There was no prior notice or confirmation of appointment prior. These crooks have no issue taking your money and charging customers inadequately. Dental equipment is outdated, technology is lacking and attention to detail is minimal. I got one of the worst cleanings in my entire life and would not reccomend. Felt like I had a cavity and they rushed me out prior to close stating it was all good. No thanks, never again my mistake for giving this "organization" a chance.

Because dentist offices are always so booked, they always make sure I have 2 or 3 appointments booked out into the future. All the doctors, hygenists, technicians, and office staff are always friendly to me. I receive plenty of text message reminders of my appointments.
