Over the weekend I broke part of a molar off. I called Gordon dental group first thing Monday morning. They were able to get me in right away and got me taken care of immediately. Dr Chris Gordon remembered me and we basically picked up right where we left off. I highly recommend Gordon dental group. Fantastic experience: I have lived in the area for 2-1/2 yrs., and at age 72 have needed several dental procedures. The staff is great--helpful and friendly while still remaining professional, and the team works well together as well as with the Drs Gordon. The doctors' work is excellent and practically pain-free (honestly). I have been fit in for emergencies twice. They file insurance claims as well. I cannot make enough positive comments to convey my satisfaction with their work, their staff, and even their equipment and facilities.

Fantastic experience: I have recently needed a new crown and a replacement for an old crown. Dr.’s Chris and Danielle Gordon have been very accommodating to my needs. They were able to get me in and get the work done within a few days. They are both kind, gentle and just all around great dentists. I live in Florida half the year but wait till I am up in Boone to get any dental work done. If you are looking for great, competent Dentists this is the place to go. The office staff is also great.

Fantastic experience: My husband and myself have a home in Blowing Rock and our permanent home is in Charlotte. While here for a couple of weeks one of my crowns came off while flossing. Dr. Gordon was very kind to help my husband back in the Winter so instead of driving back to Charlotte I decided to call his practice. Their staff was very helpful and kind to help me. Fortunately they had a cancellation the next day so I was able to be seen. The office is lovely and the staff gave the best customer service and attention to my needs. I highly recommend this practice for all your Dental needs. 07/09/25 We spend 6 months in Blowing Rock in the summer. I was experiencing jaw pain and they worked me in promptly. Turns out I was grinding my teeth causing my pain. They made me a Mouth guard to relieve the pain if I grind. This practice is professional and passionate about the care of all their patients. Highly recommend this his practice. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Fantastic experience: This group is efficient, dedicated to patient wellness and comfort, extremely attentive to timing and schedules, and very friendly—almost like family. My first visit was with a failed root canal. I was worried that I would lose the tooth but Dr. Gordon had several options for me to choose from and I still have that tooth.

Fantastic experience: Called this morning to see if they had availability and would be willing to file my insurance - they got me in by 3pm and filed for me. Ladies at the front desk were super sweet. Hygienist (I believe her name was Jana) was great and my teeth have never felt cleaner. Dr. Chris was also super nice and efficient. Everybody in the office was in a good mood and laughing - good vibes! Looking forward to going back.

Fantastic experience: Timely/efficient, prompt, very kind, timely and very personable. I wish I’d have found them much earlier. Trish, our hygienist, used to work in Ashe County. Trish has kept in touch with my husband. She mentioned she started at Dr. Gordon‘s group. Steve set up an appointment for a cleaning and referred me to Trish, I’m his wife, and I went in for a cleaning and x-rays as well. I am scheduled to return for some dental work and have already scheduled. We were so happy with Trish and both doctors introduced themselves to us. I feel great about this practice and hope to remain with them in the future. I cannot brag up Trish enough. When I was younger, I had all cavities filled with no Novacaine. She did an exam and didn’t hurt me one bit. I have confidence continuing my care with this practice.

Positive experience: The service was satisfactory, however your pricing leaves me not very happy. I am not sure why I was asked twice if I had insurance. The cost of $265 in my estimate was way out if line for a very small filling that took less than 10 minutes to perform. What would have received if I would have had insurance.

Then they ran the appropriate X-rays needed to get a basic view of my jaw, then made a decision I appreciated the fact that they were able to start with basics because I do not have insurance ,so they were helping to keep cost as low as possible to start with, knowing that if needed more X-rays would be taken. The office is very comfortable, warm, and cozy as well as sanitary. It was a comfortable office to be in. I was also seen in a very timely manner. My appt was at 12:15 and I was called to go to the rear at 12:15.
