Negative experience: First off the dentists themselves and the owners are amazing! I've never felt more at home and comfortable there. This review is based on a phone call I made at 7:40am 10/14. So I will not change my review as stated, nothing was resolved and I will state that the husband of the owner said he will stick up for his staff over a patient. I was in short called a liar like I would honestly call to freak out about a question. I will always own up if I am in the wrong or if I should be held accountable for any actions. This time I was not. Like i shared if I could have recorded it then maybe he would have had a different tune. But to ok your staff to talk ill of a patient with the patient on the phone, mind you I still didn't get upset when I heard her blatantly say I was rude, and hang up on me. I have called another dentist in town with 5.0 star review and transferring out of this one. I am still in shock and cannot believe they can run a practice like that. And read the reviews, I'm not the only one speaking of the desk manor, he told me she had been with him almost since the beginning. So these reviews are not about old staff, they are with them for a reason he said as they are nice and kind, no sir, they are shady and pull the wool over your eyes. I called to ask about an appointment made for my daughter the day before. There was a mix up regarding her chart. She was in Monday and her dentist said he had to fix the record as it was showing she needed cavities filled but they were done. Both her dad and her relayed that to myself. So i called this morning to simply ask if the chart was fixed and state why he wanted to see her back for her wisdom tooth. She said no she needs the cavities filled. I explained what happened and said I should cancel the appointment until I or someone can speak to the Dr. I then heard her whisper to a Co worker and she said "yes and rude". I was thrown back by that comment as I was surely not being rude, I was merely asking a question and told her what my daughter and her dad said. So i said why did you say i was being rude? She then raised her voice at me as if I was being rude and she was defending herself to cover her words. I asked why she would say that when I'm clearly not, to not have any confrontation with her I asked for the owners/ office managers voice mail. She said he does not have one nor did she know his hours. I asked for her name so I could speak with Chad about her and she hung up on me. Now if I was being so rude why would you not provide that And why would you hang up on me? I'm still in shock, i love all the ladies at the front desk, or so I thought, whoever she was should not have a role like that. Clearly she is not a morning person either as she was telling me I'm calling at 7 in the morning. I also hate to leave a 1 star, I will change it once this situation is corrected. However I will be pulling my family from here if this is not rectified. Times where i wish I would have a recorder to get that conversation, just wild.

Fantastic experience: Was recommended to try this dental office after having moved 2 hours from my previous one- I liked them instantly! The hygienists and dentists are all so nice and explain everything thoroughly. Would recommend to anyone!

Negative experience: I had a very disappointing and upsetting experience at this dental office. During our recent visit, the dentist accused me of neglecting my child’s dental care — an accusation that was not only unfounded but deeply offensive. As a parent, I take my child's health very seriously, and to be spoken to in such a condescending and judgmental tone was completely unprofessional and inappropriate. Instead of offering support or constructive advice, the dentist made assumptions and delivered their comments in a way that felt more like a personal attack than a medical consultation. We came in looking for care and guidance, not to be shamed. I understand that dental professionals see many situations, but compassion and communication go a long way. Unfortunately, we did not experience either during our visit. I would not recommend this practice to anyone who expects to be treated with basic respect and understanding — especially when it comes to the care of their children.

Fantastic experience: Everyone there is friendly. They care about you. Take time to answer questions, listen to your concerns. They are very accommodating to schedules.

Fantastic experience: As someone who has hated the dentist ever since I was a child, G2 is a breath of fresh air. Autumn and Dr. Jackson are great to work with. They get the job done very effectively and with genuine care. They don’t act like they’re trying to make your bib as red as possible- unlike most of the other places I’ve had the displeasure of going to. I highly recommend going to G2. If you have a choice in your dental hygienic sherpas, go for the Autumn / Dr. Jackson duo.

She then will try to help solve, or at least reassure the patient that all is being done at your behalf. I wish there were more people like Sara. She is a gem.

Fantastic experience: Always feel a personal level of attention. Called late Thursday will a tooth issue, explained I had a fishing trip planned with my grandsons for Monday. Got me in early the next day. Subsequently they set up an appointment with an oral surgeon and who was able to take me in within a couple of hours that same day. I’m writing this from the fishing trip.

Fantastic experience: I had seen my new regular dentist (my long time dentist retired) the day prior to contacting G2 Dental for a toothache. The new dentist didn't provide any pain relief other than referring me to a specialist and to take Tylenol. The pain was unbearable. G2 got me in right away and took care of the problem. The tooth that I felt the pain in was actually caused by a different tooth altogether. I'm now switching to G2 Dental for my dental needs. Great professional staff that knows what they're doing.

Fantastic experience: I found G2 after going to another local dentist, having unnecessary work done AND sitting through the dentist trying to hard sell me on their ‘own version’ of Invisalign by trying make me feel my smile was not good enough. That same office failed to send my records over to G2, even after going there in person twice and after emailing a release, to ask again and again for them to please forward my records, I started over with a clean slate. I’ve been to G2 three times now and couldn’t be more pleased. Careful, professional care, not trying to sell me anything or perform unnecessary procedures has me believing this is THE best dental group in Forest Lake.

Negative experience: So my husband went to the dentist and he said if his insurance didn’t cover anything extra he didn’t want the work done. So they sent the extra cleaning bill to the insurance company which they never did the work and the insurance company said they weren’t going to pay. And g2 dental try charging my husband and he refused to pay because he didn’t authorize it and told them no. Well now they won’t let his wife go to g2 dental either . And I had none thing to do with it. I guess they’re trying to make extra money to pay for there new building. Sad thing is we’ve been going there for 35 years. Beware if your insurance company doesn’t cover your coverage they will charge you even if you don’t authorize it and tell them you don’t want the work done just what our insurance covers. and you can’t afford it they will kick you out they became really greedy. That’s so unprofessional. There are so many other dental offices that we can go to so we will. Just be ware.

Fantastic experience: My experience was fine, but you may want to change your system of auto emailing at 3:20 AM to ask for a survey! You may also want to consider white noise in the new building - it might help reduce the level of noise in your work areas during busy times. Just a thought for your consideration, as my hiegenist mentioned the noise level to me. (Don’t shoot the messenger.). ❤️ Hugh
