Fantastic experience: I have been coming here for a while and I must say I feel the most comfortable here. When I come in I’m greeted with a smile and very warmly by Antoinette, which is such a breath of fresh air. My wait is usually no longer than what feels like 30 seconds & then I’m going back to my hygienist, Dominique, who has AMAZING bedside manner and you can really tell she LOVES what she does & prioritizes relationships and she also gives the best advice on after cleaning care to maintain. Every recommendation she’s given I’ve taken and it’s made my teeth better. So after a good yap & cleaning by Dom I go back to the front desk to then be greeted by Mayra who also has the most welcoming smile and personality & makes you feel so comfortable. She also makes me laugh, which makes closing out my visit all come together. These 3 are amazing and I give them a 1000000/10 Thank you for making a team that really loves their job and it shows with their service. I’m grateful to be a patient here!

Fantastic experience: The ladies at the front are amazing. Was heading home from work when my phone rang, 2 min after appointment time. I completely forgot about having this cleaning appt. So grateful they called. I turnt around and arrived 14 min behind. I was seen and very thankful. Dental hygienist was professional. She took me right back explain every step inquired abouy add ons Efficient and thorough. Dr. Schubber performed his exam, and was on my way. I have been a patient for many of years, and the professional relationship with the doctor is always to me the most meaningful. Of course #1 care and treatment. Fantastic experience: I always have a positive experience at Family Dental Care of South Jersey. Starting as soon as I walk in, the girls at the front desk are so welcoming. Dominique is a jem…sweet and caring, and does an amazing job taking X-rays and cleaning my teeth. The dentists are personable and extremely thorough during their exam.

Negative experience: Review of Family Dental Care of South Jersey Overall experience (previous years): For many years, my son and I have been patients at Family Dental Care of South Jersey, consistently receiving positive and professional service. Appointments were reliably scheduled on the same day every six months for their convenience. Negative experience (most recent visit): Recently, I experienced a significant issue. Upon arrival for a pre-scheduled 10 a.m. appointment on August 26, 2025, it was discovered that only my son was on the schedule, despite confirmed appointments for both of us six months prior. When the office's error was explained and a request was made to reschedule both appointments for the same day in the future, the front desk staff was inflexible and unaccommodating. The staff indicated that suitable appointments to maintain a simultaneous schedule were unavailable, and that I would have to return on a separate day to get cleaned. I was informed that a $50 cancellation fee would be applied for the son's appointment if it was not fulfilled to reschedule us on the same day in the future. Lack of empathy and accommodation: This response was disappointing. Although scheduling errors can occur, the office showed a lack of empathy for their mistake. Instead of finding a solution to accommodate long-term patients who had taken time off work, the office insisted on penalizing the me for the administrative oversight. A gesture of goodwill, such as waiving the fee or prioritizing a new, joint appointment, was not offered. Impact on patient relations: This experience significantly damaged the my perception of the office's commitment to patient care, which had previously been excellent. The refusal to acknowledge their own error and the insistence on charging a penalty fee for the request was unprofessional and disrespectful to a long-time patient. I felt that loyalty was not valued and that a scheduling mistake became the patient's problem. Final thoughts: While I have had positive experiences here for many years, this incident reflects a serious decline in patient relations. It is hoped that the practice will reconsider its rigid policies and provide better solutions for long-term clients when internal errors occur.

Negative experience: I would rate the entire staff 5 stars because they are all amazing....however, the dentist himself has terrible bedside manner and is rude. I have been going here for about 10 years. While in a dental emergency, he wouldn't make time to see me, and instead I was told to try calling every morning. Meanwhile I'm in pain and have an abscessed tooth. I was left in a position to have to pay out of pocket somewhere out of network, while unemployed. That's not the kind of "care" I'd expect from a medical professional.

Positive experience: I was supposed to get fillings on the right but have been having more pain on the left so I went in to have the fillings done on my left first. Getting the fillings on the left was fine but afterwards I drink things and still have pain on the top and bottom on the left. Appears like they didn't fill either tooth on the top or bottom that are causing me pain. They filled the teeth in front of those teeth that weren't causing me any pain.

Fantastic experience: If I can give it a 10 star ratings I would. I called as a new patient to see if anything was available. As a new patient and as someone who needed work done, miraculously someone had canceled and they called me right away to be squeezed in. When I arrived, the staff was very respectful and as for my teeth they feel amazing.

Fantastic experience: I'm a new patient last week was my cleaning which was great Dominique the tech was awesome. Today Dr.Shcupper did my fillings he was gentle and efficient. He's assistant Mallary I believe that's her name was amazing. Crystal also another hygienist that's amazing and Myra front desk can't get enough of her all the ladies are pleasant.

Positive experience: Not enough local anesthesia. I Felt everything when my tooth was being extracted. They tried to give me more, but most of it just squirted into my mouth. They allowed me to use my earpieces to listen to music from my phone, which helped. Everyone was nice.

Fantastic experience: The staff is super friendly. I showed up 15 min early, as requested. There were others in the waiting room and more coming in so I was afraid I was going to have to wait beyond my scheduled time but luckily I was called in 5 min before my start time. X-rays, a thorough cleaning, and a brief visit with the Dr. took all but 45 min. I have no complaints and look forward to my future visits.

I came in for my initial visit today at noon. Dominique did my cleaning and was literally perfect!!! She was so nice and gave me back my confidence with just one cleaning! I went to the front desk to schedule my next appointment and was told that I can be seen at 3 the same day! I went across the street to have lunch and came right back for my fillings. Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to this office for a 2 or 3 years now and I’ve always had positive experiences with any of the hygienists and Dr. Mashru. She filled a few cavities for me and the experience was virtually painless. Staff are all polite and professional.

Fantastic experience: The tech, Gabby, that worked with Dr.S. was wonderful. Having 3 teeth removed with stitches is not fun. Lots of novocaine needle sticks and Gabby tapped my shoulder to let me know all was OK. Dr.S kept telling me I was doing great whuch i needed to hear so much. They were both great! Negative experience: Visited this office in September for a filling. The cleaning a few weeks earlier went well so I had the same expectation. The dentist and his assistant barely acknowledged my existence. I had to be numbed up twice and they seem to be annoyed by the fact. I expressed concern with an area of my mouth and was dismissed. I felt like a person on the assembly line or a number. My usual dentist of 28 years (who does not accept my new insurance) always does an oral check. I was told by their dentist to see an ENT. After my appointment the enamel on the tooth that was filled felt a bit rough. I thought whatever they used to fill the tooth may have been left on the outside, but actually part of my enamel was drilled off during the procedure. I initially had reservations about having them do the fillings, but decided to move forward. I have been having pain in my tooth ever since. Google randomly asks for reviews and I put this off. Google kept asking and I must have hit a button to dismiss the request yesterday. This morning 2/10, I received a call from someone at the office. I'm just waking up. They indicated where they are calling from, and asked, in a not so polite way, why I gave the office 1 star. I provided the explanation above. There were no apologies. Just expressed that I was there in September as if there's an expiration on when you can make a review. He said you have an appointment in March, do you want to cancel? I replied yes, please and the call ended. On a positive note, The front desk at my appointment was nice, the cleaning was good and so was the dental hygienist.

Positive experience: I was little nervous to have any work done. But, doctor Poonam. Masroo was very caring and gentle. I would recommend this practice to anyone!

Negative experience: I had an absolutely horrible experience at Family Dental Care of South Jersey. The first was the unprofessional and rude behavior from the Hispanic receptionist. She made assumptions about me that were completely wrong and didn't even bother to listen when I tried to clarify why I'm calling. Instead of offering help, she just seemed uninterested and dismissive. Some people have a fear of dentist office and the receptionist is keeping the stigma alive. When I tried to schedule an appointment, I was put on hold for an unreasonable amount of time. Felt like there was no general concern or care for my health. But hey its to be expected in the year 2025 when social media has turn people into narcissistic psychopaths. So thanks for warding off a potential patron! Definitely not the kind of place I would trust with my dental health!

Fantastic experience: When I first became a patient here, it was a long time since the last time I went to the dentist and I was nervous. The dentist was very professional (not judgemental) and got me all the care I needed. They checked in with me during procedures to make sure I was OK. All their pricing is transparent and they have a discount if you're without dental insurance. They have good hours too. If you're in need of crown or bridge, they look very natural. I'm grateful to the staff for their care and would recommend this office!

Fantastic experience: First time patient due to insurance switch and I saw good ratings so I booked. Booking was easy, paperwork was texted to me and done online which is super efficient for me. I was able to get squeezed in because of a cancellation and I went during my lunch. From beginning to end my experience was exceptional. It’s a small place but the staff are hustling! My dental hygienist Dom- if I could give her 1000 stars I would. She was sweet, considerate, and quick. She knew exactly what she was doing and she kept me comfortable and checked in with me the entire time. I don’t have any major dental issues so my time with the dentist was brief but I like it. Tell me I’m good and let’s keep it moving! Thank you to all the staff for being nice and efficient!

Positive experience: I was seen yesterday 1/16. I called to verify my insurance was accepted and the very nice woman at the desk I spoke to, was able to get me in same day. It’s been many years since I was at the dentist so I knew I would need work, in addition to the chipped/crack tooth which was my reason for calling. Everyone I saw was very nice and pleasant. However, when the doctor ( I can’t remember his name) came in after looking at my x-rays and then my teeth, the only thing he said was “ yep, you need a lot of work” then continued to schedule me for another appointment. I assumed I would need work, but it still made me feel awful. I wish he had better bedside manner and did not make me feel embarrassed and ashamed. It did not feel very personable, just like I was a paycheck for him sitting there. His tone came across demeaning. I’m hoping my second visit is better or else I’ll be looking elsewhere to have the remaining work finished. 5 stars and above though to the front desk staff!

Negative experience: Had a horrible rushed experience here. Saw Dr. Mashru and she was not friendly and spoke with an attitude. I provided panoramic xrays taken 1 week ago and no one in the office bothered to even look at them, yet they were going to do repeat panoramic xrays this visit. Makes no sense to me if the panoramic xrays don’t matter to them. When the dentist came in, she just aggressively scraped my teeth and started clicking away on her computer. She was not thorough. Immediately told me I had 9 cavities and did not take any time to explain to me. I get dental exams and cleanings every 4 months and I had no cavities 4 months ago. She rushed out to leave the office before I even had the chance to drive out of the parking lot.

Fantastic experience: I decided to rewrite my review because I needed to. I’m really bad at any doctors office, and going in for fillings and cleanings is pretty anxiety inducing. The staff there were pretty understanding of that, even though I didn’t directly express I was nervous they took care of me. It’s the little things like that that matter!

Negative experience: This place doesn’t deserve no stars whatsoever very unprofessional when it comes to appointments. I had an appointment and it was my first time being here first visit and everything October 22nd prior to this they tried to say that I had an appointment in November which I never had an appointment in November, I had an appointment set up for December 19th. I couldn’t make it. I wanted to reschedule my appointment The lady on the phone told me to call when I am available. They kept calling my phone back to back nonstop from two different numbers. And they also text me from my number stating that I could respond to the number To let them know my availability. Which I find very unprofessional why would you want to communicate with a dentist dr over a text message when you can just call me Or leave a voicemail and I’ll get back to you. Well, they try to lie and say that I had missed about maybe three appointments Which I didn’t I never made an appointment in November Appointment was due for today, December 19th Due to work, I couldn’t make it. Then they tell me that this is the third temp that I can’t come back there, which doesn’t make any sense When clearly this is not the third attempt this is the second attempt!!!! Missing my appointment and rescheduling an appointment two different things. Missing an appointment is not showing up not coming not calling!!!!!! Rescheduling appointment is something has came up can’t make it!!!! Know your job and do better!!! I would never go back..

Negative experience: Tried this practice as they were more local to me after I recently moved to the Voorhees area. I went for a standard cleaning and exam. The hygienist did not use a single tool on my teeth - she simply waterpicked my teeth and polished them before the doctor came in. I thought this was strange but went along with it as everyone here was so nice. The doctor came in and told me that she found a whopping 11 cavities in my mouth. Stunned, I laughed and took her word for it since my previous dentist was not exactly the best. After telling me I had 11 cavities, the dentist hardly examined my teeth before upselling the in-office fluoride treatment and prescription strength fluoride toothpaste, and sending me to the receptionist to schedule 6 fillings for one appointment. I left the office feeling confused. As I told my family what happened, they urged me to get a second opinion before my appointment for 6 fillings. Another local practice happily scheduled an appointment with me to go over my xrays from Family Dental Care of SJ. Upon requesting a copy of my xrays, I was notified that there is a mandatory fee associated with this. I thought this was also strange as they were an electronic copy and therefore there was no cost associated with them emailing my imaging over to me. At this point, dealing with Family Dental Care of SJ was becoming such a headache so I just paid the fee to be free of them. Sure enough, I went to another dentist who told me I had 2 very small cavities and a few (even smaller) spots of softened enamel on my teeth that would be remedied with the fluoride paste. I scheduled my fillings through the new practice and the dentist told me she would NEVER schedule more than 2 fillings for one appointment! After having my 2 fillings completed, I am baffled that Family Dental Care of SJ would EVER complete 6 fillings in one day on a patient. My mouth would have been wrecked if I stayed with this dentist. My advice: buyer beware! This practice will upsell anything they can and profit off of you at every turn. If they diagnose you with anything, get a second opinion!

Fantastic experience: Everyone was very nice and everything was explained so that I understood clearly. I was seen promptly and felt very comfortable with all the staff. I will definitely recommend this office to all my friends and family.

Fantastic experience: It has been a long time since I have been treated with the level of kindness and professionalism that I experienced at this office. I had let my dental care lapse (standard issue phobia). When a recent health issue increased the urgency of maintaining my oral health, Barb (an angel) was able to get me in to see Dr. Schupper in no time. From the moment I started my x-rays with Gabrielle, I knew I was in the right place. Even my deep cleaning with Crystal was relatively easy! As it turns out, genuine patient care makes a huge difference. Not only have I resolved a phobia. I’m now excited to be caring properly for my teeth. This is an amazing practice and I will absolutely return.

Negative experience: Would not recommend! My wife went here under my dental insurance. They try to upsell you on services you don’t need. They insisted on getting x-rays and claimed they are covered by insurance but I got stuck with the bill when they were not. There are plenty of other dentists in the area, I would pick a different one.

Fantastic experience: Family Dental Care of South Jersey has a great team of professionals. The receptionist staff were so helpful and accommodating with appointment setting! When I was on the waitlist, they actually called me when an opening became available. Then the dental hygienist and Dr. Maseru were phenomenal!

Fantastic experience: An A+ experience at Family Dental for my cleaning yesterday! Barbara went out of her way to help me resolve an issue with my pharmacy. Myra was understanding through the multiple phone calls it took to get it taken care of. Tech Crystal was very gentle. Dr. Schupper was kind and informative.

Fantastic experience: Dr Schupper was amazing as expected, the process was seamless. Procedure was literally quick and painless. You can tell he takes pride in his work. His assistant this time around wasn’t as welcoming as the others have encountered previously. She seemed to be in somewhat of a rush, which made me nervous. My appointment was at 1 so maybe she was running behind for lunch but outside of that my experience was great. Mayra at the front desk was very welcoming and confirmed everything regarding follow ups with me. Overall I’d recommend.

Fantastic experience: As someone who has had a lot of horrible dentist experiences, this location is great. I never wait more than 5 minutes. Hygienists are always super, gentle, and thorough. You only see the dentist for about 1 minute but that's pretty much the same everywhere now, short and to the point. They are also really great about letting you know when they have cancellation slots available.

Fantastic experience: All the staff is really friendly, helpful, and efficient. I had put off the dentist for years after a bad experience years ago at a different office so I was very nervous going in, but quickly felt calm. They checked in with me multiple times and asked how was I doing during my procedure and even just during my cleaning, which relieved my anxiety. I have been there twice so far and will be a 3rd time for my final procedure. They are very fast, but without sacrificing quality of care. I can trust that they are actually taking the time to do it properly. Overall my experiences so far have been very positive and I will be using them as my regular Dentist office :)

Fantastic experience: September 6, 2024 was my first visit to Family dental care of South Jersey. It was one if rhe best dental visits I’ve ever had Antoinette at the front desk was awesome professional so complementary and so sweet !! my hygienist Dom was nothing short of amazing. She was knowledgeable friendly bedside manner was impeccable cleaning was Superb she was efficient and doctor Shupper was also just as fabulous!!! I felt so incredibly comfortable coming into this office. I cannot wait to go back from my next visit.

Negative experience: I called Monday 9:03am about an incident my 4 yr old daughter had where she fell and her tooth pushed back causing her gums to be swollen. I was concerned there may be an infection as she bled for quite a bit. The office kept saying there was a $50 hold for anyone in my household because of “a” missed appointment. I explained I didn’t have the money until 2 days later when I got paid ,mind you there are 5 people in my household whom go to this office so the fact they were prioritizing this fee over my daughter's well-being and the health of her teeth had been not only frustrating but disappointing. Also they didn’t have the decency of calling me back after calling 3x it’s a damn shame. Definitely showed your true colors.

Fantastic experience: WOW WOW WOW !!!!!!! Not just a general dentist office...the office works really well as a team. They are there for YOU....No judgements....No stress...Very punctional...and VERY NICE!!!! Dr. Mashru....thank you for my beautiful smile. The whole team...thank you for EVERYTHING! Great with cosmetic dentistry...reasonable prices with superior results.

Fantastic experience: I’ve spent my whole life dreading going to the dentist. Six years ago a friend recommended I try a hygienist at this practice and Dr. Mashru. Every visit since then has been wonderful. I still get anxious before I arrive but once my hygienist begins oh so gently but thoroughly cleaning my teeth I relax and ask myself what I was getting all worried about. And Dr Mashru is just as wonderful. I hope I never have to go anywhere else ever. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: I will not be returning to this dentist office. The receptionists were warm, welcoming, and friendly. I would only come back for them. The dental hygienist was great and provided me with a very good cleaning. However, the dentist could learn a thing or two about manners. He walked into the room and didn’t even acknowledge me because he was talking to the hygienist about her upcoming trip. After waiting for their conversation to end, he then decides to greet me as he is already examining my mouth. This is not the way you treat patients.

Fantastic experience: Great experience, always on time with appointments, technicians have great personalities, very considerate to your needs. I used to hate to go to the dentist and now I go every 6 months instead of waiting until I have an emergency. If you’re not using this facility, you should, especially if your a Senior

Fantastic experience: Very friendly and professional staff. This was my first visit. I had my teeth cleaned. My hygienist was thorough and explained everything she was doing and why. I was very impressed with everyone in the office. I will be back next week to have a crown replaced. I returned to have a replacement crown created and fitted. Amanda really is a perfectionist. She took her time and made sure the impressions and the fit of the temporary crown were ideal. The crown feels like it's my natural tooth. I'll be back next month for my permanent crown.

Fantastic experience: Very pleasant experience. Due to insurance changes we had to change and Family Dental accepted our new plan. I wasn’t keen switching from prior dentist of many years but was very, very pleasantly surprised the care I received. Staff, dentist and my hygienist (Eileen) were great. Definitely A+

Fantastic experience: Called on the phone to make a new patient appointment. The receptionist on the phone at the front desk are phenomenal and nice! She got me in the same week, and time that works best for me. Went in for my appointment. You’re immediately greeted by the same ladies who you’ll speak to on the phone. The office is exceptionally clean as well! Took me 5 minutes before I was called back. The dental assistants there are very gentle. They go easy and listen to your concerns and will take breaks if it’s hurting/feeling sensitive. The doctors are very quick with everything they do! I had a couple fillings and a crown placement. The doctor I had was very quick, professional, and great! Not to mention very nice. Everyone knows how to do their job to the highest standard. I recommended my fiance who got his appointment in, and now my mother and her significant other. And hopefully soon, any of my friends who need a great dentist with great staff. Even my fiance said the same thing I have in these reviews and he was very satisfied with his care!! Definitely a go to office if you have anxiety and a fear of dentists like I do. They ease your nerves and your not in there for more then an hour at most!

Fantastic experience: Awesome! I called on Friday for my dad’s first appointment and they had a cancellation and gave him an appointment for Monday. While at my dad’s appointment, they were able to squeeze my mom in for a x-ray and cleaning. The front desk staff was great! Everyone was friendly and explained everything to my parents along the way. So happy they found a place they like.
