Fantastic experience: They are always so welcoming and pleasant. I love my hygienist Jenna. She is wonderful at making the experience a great one and putting me at ease.

Fantastic experience: A very nice experience today at Family First Dental on Yelm in Kennewick. Front desk secretary was warm and welcoming. Very short wait time before going to exam room. The dental tech and Dr T were both efficient and knowledgeable.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to this dentistry for about 15 years. Always professional and friendly. They are very thorough and explain everything that they're doing. Their annual program saves you money. Had a minor dental emergency this morning and they had me in there in less than an hour. And I was pleasantly surprised that this visit was covered through the dental insurance that I bought from them! Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I had a crown come off a tooth because the tooth was bad. I just wanted the tooth removed and another dental office I went to had to take full mouth X-rays , have a hygienist tell me I need deep scale cleaning ,the dentist telling me I should consider implants, and the office manager telling me I would have to make an appt to get my tooth pulled. I walked out of that place and decided to try Family Dental. They squeezed me in immediately and I was out of there in an hour.

Fantastic experience: My hygienist, Tracy, was fantastic! She was pleasant, friendly, and energetic. I told her about a sensitive tooth I worried was going to make my cleaning uncomfortable and she really listened. She applied a desensitization paste that really helped and my cleaning was great. Next, I saw Dr. Watkins and his assistant Bertha. They did a crown for me on the upper right and it was super easy. The procedure was smooth and painless as both doctor and assistant worked well together. Bertha also communicated with me throughout the process, which was very reassuring. These guys are great. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Trish is a great dental hygienist. My medication makes me have a dry mouth and she is so conscious of the problem. She make sure that my lips stay wet. It was a very good appointment today.

Fantastic experience: I just had my routine cleaning appointment with Jenna. She was very friendly, gentle and thorough. She answered all my questions in a very easy to understand way and explained what would help with my ongoing problem with plaque buildup. She made it a more pleasant experience.

Fantastic experience: Lost a small filling while on a trip to the Midwest. I wasn't having a problems with it but scheduled an appointment on the day I got back. In the chair, small filling replaced without any problems and out the door. Fast. Great people. Hope you got your Savanna Banana tickets.

Fantastic experience: I broke my tooth and was able to get in the next day (I called at 4:45pm). The staff were great. Treatment and pricing were explained before being given the choice to proceed with the treatment (a temp crown). The procedure was performed in just over an hour. I watched an episode and a half of “Lost” on Netflix (which they provide, with headphones) ‍♀️.

Fantastic experience: 57yr male here and just had a frenectomy done on June 30th. I was in and out under an hr and even went back to work with a numb tongue. I was impressed how the procedure went and more impressed that I have no pain in my mouth except when I try to stick out my tongue but it’s very minor since it’s a wound. Thank you

Fantastic experience: I had a fine experience today at Family First Dental-Yelm. Besides my standard appointment for cleaning, one very small area was found that needed repair. To my surprise and delight, I was able to have the area repaired rather than make another appointment to come in at a later date. Everyone involved was very professional, but yet very friendly. Always a great place to be for dental care.

My baby had to come with me and when they had an opportunity they were involved and helped me with him when I had to stay still. From the moment I walked in, the front desk staff was welcoming, efficient, and kind. The waiting area was clean, calm, and comfortable—offering a peaceful atmosphere that helped ease any pre-appointment nerves. My dental hygienist was absolutely wonderful—gentle, thorough, and incredibly informative. Jenna took the time to explain what she was doing at every step, from the initial check-up to the scaling, polishing, and flossing. I appreciated how attentive she was to my comfort, checking in regularly to make sure I was doing okay. The actual cleaning was smooth and pain-free, and my teeth felt noticeably cleaner and brighter right away. My appointment prior to my cleaning they reviewed my X-rays, answered my questions, and made sure I felt confident about the next steps in my dental care.

Dr. Almond is an amazing dentist and I would really recommend him to anyone who is anxious about dental work like I was, he’s very patient and gentle and makes me feel so comfortable when I’m there. Fantastic experience: 5 starts is not enough!!! Nothing worse than a dental emergency late on a Friday afternoon. I called one of their locations but they were closed, but the receptionist took my info and got me on the schedule at their Yelm and 395 location, they had one provider with some time available. I walked in the door, and they had everything ready to go, considering I was a new patient I assumed they would only be able to do an exam and come up with a treatment plan that I would have to come back for on a different day. That was not the case, the assistant and the provider said they weren't gonna let me go through the weekend with a broken tooth. They both stayed past their office closing time, even had to make some adjustments to ensure that I was completely happy with the temporary fix. This duo, I believe her name was Maria, and the provider are the prime example of excellent customer service and patient care. I walked in embarrassed and expecting the worst, and left relieved and so thankful!!!!! I highly recommend this office for any and all dental care!!!!

The staff, upon greeting you as you walk in, to the financial advisor Lisa who understands procedures, costs, requirements along with front desk staff are knowledgeable with all procedures likewise. Our Dentist, Raquel Kafentzis, DDS, was so caring, thorough, walked me and my son through the whole process, made sure he was comfortable with the sensitivity of every procedure he had done. They do not rush to get done, they all take their time with their patients and do not rush. I've been going to Family First Dental with Dr. Olsen since I was 8yrs old and now my family goes to them. Highly recommend Family First Dental.

Fantastic experience: Jeraldine is awesome, I have seen her several times now, all I ever need is Dental Hygienist. She takes time to discuss issues, and was very thorough. Dentist was thorough. Miss Dr Lansing. Unfortunately they didn't check my medicare Humana insurance even though I went by a couple days before with insurance card to check. Therefore I am told I owe money. I'm on fixed social security. Not happy with office.

Fantastic experience: Family Dental Kennewick “saved the Day” for me. I am heading out of town for my Daughter’s Engagement Party and my old resin filling in my Front tooth broke out this morning. I called at 9:00 AM and have a Beautiful “Front” tooth at 2 PM. Excellent Customer Service! Everyone went out of their way to make sure the Mom of the Bride has pretty family photos!!
