Dr Gentile & Dr.S(Long Greek name that he acknowledges that you can just call him Dr.S) are the dentists I see and that are great guys who absolutely take pride in their work & are a pleasure to deal with. Fantastic experience: Last week my daughters (10 and 8 yrs.old) had their cleaning with Catherine in the Lake Ronkonkoma office. She was wonderful! So sweet with them, explained everything as she went so they knew what to expect. My younger daughter had to have teeth sealants and Catherine made sure to give her breaks when she needed. Such a wonderful experience and we will be booking all our cleanings with her from now on!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Sachem Dental for about ten years, and I recommend it to everyone I know. They’re always very kind and accommodating. Dr. Moss upstairs removed my wisdom teeth two years ago and the entire office was very helpful during the recovery when I would call and have questions. Last week, my dad went in to have a broken tooth assessed and they were able to have it fixed that same day. The office is always very clean and comfortable. For someone that used to fear the dentist from childhood horror stories (at a different dentist), this office has regained my trust and comfortability to be able to take care of my mouth.

Fantastic experience: I went because of a broken tooth. The staff was great getting me in the same day! Dr. S. was absolutely the BEST dentist I have ever been to. His kind, caring, compassionate ways are by far exceeds any other dentist I used in the past. I needed novicaine and is petrified of needles. He numbed the are with a topical medication and was very gentle when he put the needle in telling me exactly what he was going to do and kept asking if I was alright. That was the FIRST time I had almost NO pain with that. He's the most AMAZING, WONDERFUL, CARING Dentist ever and I will never see anyone else! His gentle, calming, kind ways and AWESOME, FABULOUS personality is very unique and very rare from my past experiences! I Highly recommend Dr. S----he's truly by far the BEST of the BEST!! I went again on 10/6/25 because of another broken tooth and once again Dr. S. was AMAZING! His caring, calming, Wonderful personality put me at ease with my whole experience to put a temporary crown in. His dental assistant was also very efficient and helpful. The staff again was great getting me in the same day! As I've said before, I would not go to any other dentist but Dr. S. after seeing numerous other dentists in the past and not having a good experience! I Highly recommend Sachem Dental and Dr. S.!!!

Fantastic experience: Sachem Dental in Ronkonkoma is the best,,was there on Saturday 10/4/2025 for Dr Anthony Gentile to work on a crown,,(been there many times)If you HATE Dentist needles like I do(and believe me I have a high tolerance for pain)then you need to go and see him,,I didn't even feel the needle when it was inserted twice,,work was done Beautifully,,andddd,,,I don't even know if this is possible but I had no after effects of my mouth being numb,,you know the tingling and sometimes some pain,,didn't feel that at all,,as a Matter of Fact I couldn't even tell I was at the dentist at all that day.Im Happy and I will be back in 2 weeks to finish the process,,,not only that,,,the office staff is very Kind and accommodating.Thank You Dr.Gentile,and Staff,A1 experience

Fantastic experience: Needed an emergency appointment, and the office got me in right away! The service was superb, and the office staff was friendly and professional. I would highly recommend this office.

Fantastic experience: Laser periodontal "surgery", I was impressed that the immediate results after the procedure in not causing much pain, nor incidental damage to the gums such as one might expect to encounter with older "gum flap surgery", to remove significant scale buildup on teeth under the gum line. If you have tartar/scale buildup that has infiltrated under the gum line, the new laser procedure seems much more pleasant, gives better results, and I would highly recommend. Dr. Leonoff (upstairs, periodontic) and his staff are excellent! I also previously had a rough scaling done in the main office (downstairs) under Dr.Gentile and his hygienist, also, excellent experience with them and highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: I was at the dental office for a cleaning. To say the least I was in & out but with a great cleaning. The dental hygienist was very careful to make me comfortable as she is aware that I hate to have a cleaning. Good visit. I just had a crown done on an upper tooth. Beautiful job by Dr. Gentile. I was asking him about an implant & teeth whitening. He took the time, offered me recommendations & answered my questions thoroughly. True all around dental care. I would not go anywhere else.

Negative experience: Great place the Dentist and staff are the best. Friendly and informative when you have a question or a tooth problem. Well I didn't think I would have to do this because I really like Sachem Dental except for when my daughter needed braces... I had to change my 5 star review... Orthodontist section of Sachem with the receptionist and billing issues was a nightmare... Rosa and her Supervisor basically threw my wife and I with our daughter to go find another dentist... before that telling us that the Dentist --Dr. Lee was coming out of the network for both our insurances...

Fantastic experience: I had a little trouble with the temporary crown that was put on me, I went back to Sachem and it was immediately taken care of. So I am very happy with the service and treatment I receive from all the persons who work there. I already recommended you to some of my family members.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Moss’ entire office staff and assistants were friendly and helpful. Dr. Moss also took the time to answer any questions, worked expertly, and quickly, explaining what he was doing each step of the way in a comforting manner. He does his best to make the procedure in my case, a dental implant, as painless as possible. Before I knew it, the procedure was over and I was on my way. Pain free and able to enjoy the rest of the day with my kids.

Fantastic experience: i had some unexpected free time this week and tried to schedule a procedure ive been putting off for years. staff was very polite and accomodating. when i came they took me right away, no headaches. i got my xray, root canal, and crown all done in two days and felt no pain after my procedure

Fantastic experience: They took care of me the day I needed it. Very professional and nice. I had a cracked tooth and needed a crown. Dr. Gentile did it with expertise and explained to me exactly what happened. No one is happy with dental work but their team at Sachem Dental is really terrific!

Fantastic experience: It was all good ! I was seen promptly, and my hygienist was terrific. Very thorough, not rushed. And the dentist came in soon after the hygienist was finished and made sure everything was good before I left.

Negative experience: I have visited this office on multiple occasions and observed that it could benefit from improved cleanliness. The staff often handle equipment with their bare hands. Dr. Lee typically enters the examination room without a greeting and fails to provide explanations for the procedures. Additionally, he does not wear gloves during oral examinations. The staff frequently engage in conversations about their workload and staffing concerns, the drama that’s happens in the office which can be distracting

Fantastic experience: Had a tooth that cracked ,& a piece broke off. Called the office & they scheduled me the same day. Took me in & naturally thinking I'm in for a major procedure along with a sizable bill. I was surprised when the dentist told me he could grind down the sharp part of the break & that I would be ok. He could of dug for oil but he didn't. They're an honest ,& knowledge group . The entire staff are easy & pleasant to interact with.

Fantastic experience: The Hawkins Ave location has been my dentist office since the early 90s. The staff has always been helpful with appointments and the forever changing insurance. For great care and honest evaluation of your dental needs Sachem Dental is the group you want to be apart of. My wife I have moved to Florida and the dentist there are as bad as the food. We do travel back to Long Island for our dental needs and it is abosutely worth it. Keep the high standards going it is very much appreciated.

Fantastic experience: Today I the had the pleasure of being a new patient at SDG Ronkonkoma. The receptionists were friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely professional! Catherine, the dental hygienist who treated me, was lovely! She did a totally thorough job, talked me through the entire process, and was able to answer all my questions. Dr.S came into the exam room and was so friendly and approachable. He explained my x-ray results and also gave me a complete exam. Dr.S patiently answered my questions as well and did not rush out of the room. The office itself was very clean and the wait time was minimal. I’m so glad to have chosen SDG for my dental needs… So I saw SDG as an emergency appointment yesterday to rule out a possible infection. I spoke with Rosa on the phone who was absolutely wonderful. She scheduled me in the same day and answered all of my questions professionally. Then I had my visit with Millie, the dental assistant, and Dr.Gentile. They were kind, knowledgeable and helpful in my situation. I left with my needs being met all within an hour. The office itself is very clean as always and well organized. I highly recommend SDG for all of your dental needs! They are the best! Followed up today at SDG with Dr.Weitzman (Oral Surgeon) in regards to my tmj/tmd disorder. Dr.Weitzman explained everything thoroughly about my condition and made sure my mind was put at ease. He answered all of my questions patiently and kindly. I wasn’t rushed or made to feel I was taking up too much time. Dr.Weitzman was helpful on treatment ideas and went over my x-rays to address my concerns. Once again, it was a great experience! The office was clean, the dental assistants were pleasant and the receptionists were terrific! I’m so glad SDG is my dental team!

Fantastic experience: I went to Sachem dental for an emergency visit. The receptionist Rosa took my call and checked me out. She gave exceptional customer service. She was kind and very knowledgeable. She made sure I left the office knowing the plan of action for the treatment I was recommended and even got me in immediately with the surgeon. I was very nervous at first but the Doctor and Rosa made me feel comfortable and confident. I highly recommend this location for all your dentistry needs.

Fantastic experience: I loved the office staff and doctor. Everyone was great! i made an emergency phone call with a bad tooth pain and Rosa helped me though all the steps i needed for my root canal process that i needed to get done. I appreciated she was able to get me seen ASAP with making me feel comfortable though the whole thing. She is very friendly an knowledgeable i definitely will be coming back to this loaction !

Negative experience: I recently visited this dental office and had a very mixed experience. The dentist was professional, skilled, and made me feel comfortable —no complaints there. HOWEVER, the front desk experience left a lot to be desired. Rose, who was working at the front, was incredibly rude and unprofessional. When I asked a simple question, she rolled her eyes, gave me dirty looks, and raised her eyebrows in a way that made me feel belittled. Her attitude lacked basic courtesy and common decency, and it really affected the overall experience. It’s disappointing when someone in a patient-facing role behaves this way, especially in a healthcare setting where people may already be feeling anxious. I hope the office takes steps to address this, as it reflects poorly on an otherwise competent dental team.

Fantastic experience: was there to see the hygienist, she was very pleasant, informative and very thorough ! I am very satisfied ! Also saw Dr S who was was able to take care of an issue that showed up with the exam following the teeth cleaning. He was able to resolve it right away !

Fantastic experience: I lived on Long Island since the age of four years old. I am now in my 60s I’ve been a loyal customer of Sachem Dentil Group for 25 plus years . Everyone has been so courteous and understanding and helpful from signing in and guiding me on future appointments. This last appointment was unexpected. I was given an appointment Almost immediately and at that appointment, I was told by my great dentist, Anthony Gentile That I would need oral surgery to fix my problem. I was escorted Upstairs to Dr Weitzman, who quickly took a full panoramic view of my teeth, explained what was causing me the pain. After doctor Weitzman explained what procedures had to be done I agreed to go forward with my procedure. He. immediately with compassion and great knowledge completed my dental procedure. Within Just a few minutes, my procedure was complete. I was amazed. I can tell you how pleased I am with dr. Weitzman and Sachem Dentil Group, they are amazing group of people who care and I would recommend them to everyone. God bless Sachem Dentil Group It’s amazing Caregivers!!!!

Fantastic experience: Went in for my second appointment for my new dentures. I always feel like I’m getting the right attention being asked and able to ask the right questions have a lot of say in how I want my teeth to look and I left there very excited to have my slightly different look for the next set of dentures, cheap thrills no, but really very nice office. A well oiled machine.
