Negative experience: Honestly, I wanted to love this office but I can’t help but to believe I’m gonna have to find another one. I made the appointment in July for my semi annual visit for preventative care after relocating. I explained my last visit with my previous provider and when it occurred, gave my insurance information and contact info. I went into the office today (meaning time off from work) assuming there were notes for the reason of my appointment. I arrive, check in, get X-rays done but when the assistant and doctor ask my reason for the visit I’m a bit confused because wouldn’t that be in the notes of the system or documents. I proceed with the visit thinking maybe it’s probably just proper protocol to ask that for many reasons. I happened to mention that I was considering going back into a retainer since my bottom row shifted slightly after inconsistency wearing the retainer I had years ago. The doctor was knowledgeable I must say but as soon as she exited, the front desk lady comes in with pricing for the retainer treatment when I only said I was considering not ready to commit to it. I also said I wanted to wait until open enrollment to scout out new insurance plans before doing so however she says they would have payment plan options. Not internal payment plans but credit checks rather!!! Something I find out after she inputs all of my information into the system and fabricated a number for my income. SMH I reiterate again that I’m not ready to commit and would like to proceed with my cleaning. She asked what day can I return? Now I’m really confused because for what? At no point did anyone at any time from July till today’s appointment inform me that the office doesn’t do cleanings the same day as x-rays!!!!! For what reason? I literally scheduled the appointment for that and took off time expecting to have my teeth cleaned. I didn’t feel truly cared for. I shouldn’t have to schedule another appointment and take more time off and it should’ve been communicated or posted that that is their protocol. It seemed more about the money than properly caring for me and my dental health. I’ve been to this office multiple times but I’ll spare the details about those visits.

Fantastic experience: My appointment was prompt, personnel were courteous and professional.

Negative experience: I was impressed with this practice in the beginning. Then I experienced some flaws with front desk Haneen and Nicole. They messed up getting the correct insurance coverage that caused my dental work to be delayed and they were non shalot about it. We argued about it and they were so nasty and unprofessional. After Dr. Francis Lugo put fillings in my mouth on Monday, March 10, 2025 she did not ask me anything about it. She said to me don't forget the sunglasses, then before I can take them off she proceeded to take them off before I stopped her. I am appalled that she saw me as a theif who wanted to steal their very used sunglasses. Thank God I practice control. Monday, April 15, 2025 Dr. Francis Lugo did another filling for me, but this time I brought my own sunglasses. I found out that other patients that goes to Ismile were diagnosed with needing the same dental work. That is questionable. I got a second opinion and without mentioning the work that Dr. Lugo said I need, that dentist did not find that I need the thousand dollars of work Dr. Lugo said I need.

Fantastic experience: I had the opportunity to visit iSmile dentistry, and from the moment i went in the receptionist are both very sweet and good professional ethics and I also had the pleasure of having Arjon as my dental hygienist and Dr. Lugo as my dentist. Arjon was incredibly gentle during the cleaning process, making what can often be an uncomfortable experience quite pleasant. I love how clean and sanitary Arjon was when working; I recommend everyone to come to this office!!

Fantastic experience: I went in for a second opinion and to find a new dentist. The front desk was super nice and welcoming, professional office. Erica took x-rays and put me in a room. Sweet girl. And she was great at what she was doing. She assisted the dentist, I saw Dr Lugo, she reviewed my x-rays and did an exam. She talked with me about her findings and explained things very well. We came up with a good plan for caring for my teeth. I really liked Dr Lugo, and I found my new dentist! I went into the office the next day for a deep cleaning. Even their hygienist was wonderful. He gave me a perfect tip for flossing between my tight teeth. He was gentle and kept checking on me. BTW.. Dr Lugo is A-mazing at giving the injections for a deep cleaning. I didnt feel a lot of pressure or a lot of pain, very mild pain. Thank you Dr Lugo and staff! This is a great, reputable office, honest, good people who are great at what they do. So, since I wrote the above, I moved out of town and I tried a dentist in my area.. I had a horrible experience. And, the office staff couldn't get my billing codes right.. I ended up paying $110 out of my pocket, because even after the insurance company contacted their office, staff still couldn't get it straight, or wouldn't. Needless to say, I might live in another city, but I am going to make the drive to Dr. Lugo and her staff. The best dentist I have ever had! They are the best. Arjon took care of my cleaning today. He was gentle and thorough. My teeth feel and look amazing. Thanks Arjon!

I just recently got dental benefits from the VA and have realized that there’s really no help in trying to find a good dentist so what I can say to other vets and people is that my initial appointment couldn’t have gone better. I find I smile to be very professional and what is important to me. Is that the dentist communicated what they wanna do to my teeth so if this helps out a vet seeking a good dentist, I would recommend I smile.

They focus on the problems patients face and fix it correctly, they don’t sell you on unnecessary work or tell you that you need treatments you don’t need! Before finding this dentist, I went to a dentist in Tampa that told me if I didn’t spend over $5,000 for treatments my teeth would all fall out in five years. They also said I had a damaged tooth and needed a crown. The crown broke, instead of going back there, I went to this dentist instead. It’s been ten years and my teeth are strong and healthy! Perfect smile no cavities and only had to fix the one crown that the other dentist falsely made me get! When this Dentist examined the tooth to fix the crown she said “there was nothing wrong with this tooth.until they shaved it down for a crown” I didn’t need a crown in the first place! She fixed it and I haven’t had any issues ever since! I highly recommend this Dentist!! It’s worth the drive!

Fantastic experience: WOW !!!! It was a perfect consultation from start to finish. I came across ISmile Dentistry via a google search, filtering the search according to my personal needs. I stopped by in person to inquire about the soonest New Patient appointment, as amongst my extensive continuous care needed, I did have a dental emergency the day I walked in. They scheduled me promptly for the following day, all while making sure it was convenient for my schedule. The day of my appointment from a pleasant greeting when I walked in the door and checked in with the front office staff, to the Medical Assistant and her workup, both throughout her MA checkin workup and the MA checkout, they were all incredible. And of course Dr Lugo herself; very knowledgeable, thorough when educating me in my diagnoses, and plan of care for me as a patient. Her bed side manners are outstanding. I did not feel rushed at all. She was humbling and caring of my individual concerns and needs. I can go on and on about Dr Lugo, her clinic and the staff. Needless to say I would recommend the highly for their patient care in dental services.
