Fantastic experience: I was so pleased with the service I received at Narcoossee Dental Care! I came as a new patient (walk-in). That same day, I had a 90-min. dental evaluation (x-rays, check) and the day after, I had cleaning and a crown prep. It just could be a matter of timing, but I was pleased nonetheless! They also take my insurance. I have to say, as a crybaby in the dental chair, they were polite, gentle, reassuring, and proficient. I would not hesitate to refer anyone there. Every staff person I came in contact with was very respectful, and I was so happy to have found a new dentist with which I feel confident.

Negative experience: First time the worst experiences in my 60's Staff are great. Dr. Joseph Parr, took out my back tooth and on the next day couldn't open my mouth to eat. Excess of force while taking my tooth out. Since then been causing me an ear pain with migraines. Had to go to emergency room. Still 3 month later dealing back and fourth, going to Ent appointments, cause of ear pain. Still have to hold my draw to eat. Don't Recommend at all. Not satisfied with Dr. Joseph Parr. Zero stars for him...

Negative experience: Have been bringing my child here for years. During his invisalign we had a few hiccups but yesterday we went in for his cleaning. When we left he complained his front tooth was sore and when I looked at his mouth they didn't fully clean his teeth up to gum line. Not acceptable. He stated they were scraping very hard. Seems like a way for them to set him up to need a deep clean as they like to push. Teeth should of been fully cleaned.

Negative experience: Whatever they say, get a second opinion. They wanted to charge me and my wife almost $10k for procedures we didn't need and cavities that never existed. They will give you a hard time when you request your X-rays also.

Negative experience: I went in for my annual cleaning and X-rays, fully covered by my insurance. After taking my X-rays, the dentist created a treatment plan and refused to perform the basic cleaning I scheduled and was entitled to under my insurance. Instead, they tried to upcharge me for additional cleanings that I would have had to pay out of pocket, which I declined. This felt like a clear attempt to push unnecessary services for profit. I was left without a cleaning and frustrated that what should have been a routine visit turned into a sales pitch. Patients deserve transparency, honesty, and respect for their time and insurance coverage—not high-pressure upselling. I do not recommend this office and will be seeking care elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: The team at Narcoossee Dental provided outstanding service. They effectively addressed my requirements, and I received a personalized treatment plan. The front desk staff demonstrated exceptional friendliness and understanding. This is, by far, the most satisfactory dental practice I have encountered since relocating to St. Cloud.

Negative experience: THE WORST DENTAL OFFICE I HAVE EVER BEEN TO!! If I could have left a 0 rating I would. I had a root canal and crown down a few weeks ago and everything was fine. I decided to go ahead and schedule mine and my son’s 6 month cleaning, exam and X-rays. The office called the morning of and explained that because of the root canal my dental benefits were done for the year and that my visit was most likely not going to be covered by insurance. I said I was going to g to have to cancel my appointment. She told me they had a 1st time patient out of pocket special of $129 that includes the exam, X-rays and cleaning, so I agreed to keep the appointment. The young lady that took me back and did my X-rays was really sweet. Then the hygienist comes in and proceeds to take my gum measurements. There was a few times she was really rough and hurt me a couple of times. She then proceeds to tell me that I have inflammation and will need the 2nd tier cleaning. I explained to her that I was only here for whatever the $129 covered. I’m still paying off the $1200 root canal, and since this was an un expected cost, I just couldn’t afford to anything more at the time. She told me there was no way to quote a price over the phone since they wouldn’t know what type of cleaning they were gonna do. I said do you have a 1st time patient rate of $129? She verified they did and I said ok then that’s the service I want. She continued to argue with me and then said she was going to get the dentist. The dentist comes in and accuses me of yelling and now the hygienist is comfortable with seeing me. Yelling? Oddly enough he didn’t hear any yelling and my son that was in the room across the hall never heard yelling. In fact he said I heard you talking when I was being taken back but I thought you were having a friendly conversation. I explained everything to the dentist and once again explained I just can’t afford anything more today, so can we just do the basic cleaning. He then tells me that another hygienist is going to have to come in and redo the measurements (his actual words were “she will have to poke and prod you again”) since the other one is uncomfortable now. I said she called all the numbers out and the other girl recorded them in my chart. Why would they need to be done again? He said because they have 2 different licenses. Huh? He then proceeds to talk to me like a child and says he going to explain the cleanings. I’m understand you think I need and tier cleaning. I’m telling you I can’t afford anymore than a basic right now. He then starts saying something about his license and responsibility to which ai told him you’ve done your responsibility. You’ve told me what I need, I am declining and asking for a basic cleaning. I asked him wouldn’t any cleaning be better than no cleaning to which he agreed. He then tells me they can charge the $129, do the exam and X-rays and I can come back for the cleaning. So, the hygienist can only do a 2nd tier but can’t do the basic? He said I never told you she was going to the cleaning. Then why would she come back in and poke and prod me again if she wasn’t going to do the cleaning??? Make it make sense!! At the end of the day, they didn’t want me as a patient because they couldn’t upsale me. The hygienist also was trying to make a big deal about my other crown that was done at least 6 yrs ago and told me it wasn’t sitting right. I told her I couldn’t afford to do anything about it. What’s odd is that this is the RS dentist in 4 years that I have been to due to relocating and not once has any other dentist mentioned my crown wasn’t sitting right. In addition, I get my teeth cleaned religiously every 6 months and have never had to have anything but a basic cleaning. I just had a cleaning in December and everything was great. I am in disbelief the way I was treated today. All because they couldn’t upsale me more dental work. I was literally at one point was crying in the chair while I was talking to the dentist. PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE.

Fantastic experience: First time visit....I have to say, the staff was amazing...First, the young lady at the front desk (I didn't get her name, sorry) she was so helpful in finding detailed information, regarding my coverage.. thumbs-up to you....And, to Brenda , she made my visit easy and relaxing ty.......Also, I was seen on short notice, for my broken tooth..... The place is clean with a friendly atmosphere....ty, again..New Member

Negative experience: I came in for a routine cleaning, but without much explanation, they took x-rays and did a gum health test. They diagnosed me with gingivitis and told me I now needed a deep cleaning — and because of that, I wasn’t allowed to get the regular cleaning I originally came in for. So I ended up leaving without any cleaning at all. Gingivitis is very common (affecting 70–90% of people) and can be caused by many things — one of them being not getting regular cleanings, which I was trying to take care of by coming in. I wasn’t told ahead of time that these extra steps would cost more, and when I politely asked, the energy from the staff noticeably shifted. I felt like I wasn’t taken seriously after asking about cost. I’m sharing this so others can feel more prepared. Ask questions before agreeing to anything, and make sure you know whether there will be extra procedures or charges — even if it’s just supposed to be a routine visit.

Fantastic experience: I am afraid of dentist, up to the point where my blood pressure gets high, and with anxiety. However our Friend from church Brenda Oquendo was able to take me step by step with calm and the procedure was done by the dentist very quickly and efficiently. Will recommend this facility without hesitation, especially to those that are afraid of visiting a dentist.

Negative experience: My care and deep cleaning was nice and went well. And very friendly too. But it was way too expensive. And their Care Credit promotion was a rip off. Even though there is no interest for 12 months there is monthly card security fees that would equal 20% of the total (if paid off in 12 months). I feel I paid 3x the price it should have been for a deep cleaning with a couple antibiotics treatments (almost $1900)! Plus rip off fees on promotions.

Fantastic experience: I broke a tooth off at the gum at lunch and went to Narcoossee Dental Care to make an appointment. They took me right in, fitted me with a temporary ,then x-rayed and cleaned my teeth all in one afternoon. AMAZING SERVICE !

You come in it’s quite clean presented organized as well you have courteous and friendly staff to greet you on your arrival. Nothing can compare to how I was treated and taken care of here . From the desk staff to the assistants to the Dr himself this was a comfortable and well taken care of experience. Fantastic experience: I recently went in to get some x-rays, scans, and other things done. The moment I walked in, I couldn't help but notice how clean this place was! The staff were super friendly. I got to interact with a couple of them and they were all so nice! The girl at the front desk was so sweet! I didn't have to wait long to be called in. Raquel was wonderful from the beginning to the very end. She was my cheerleader who stayed in my corner. Tamara helped patiently explaining payment options to me and was so kind throughout it all. We ended up deciding on a payment plan that works for both of us. Dr. Parr answered all my questions and cleared my concerns too. They had a special week going on that helped bring my price down. The place was busy but not chaotic. They got all my work done quickly but not once did I feel rushed. I'll definitely be going back.

Negative experience: I’ve been a patient at Narcoossee Dental and have always appreciated the care from the dental staff. However, my experience with the office manager has been consistently disappointing. Her rude demeanor and unprofessional attitude make dealing with the office unnecessarily frustrating. A good office manager should enhance the patient experience, not make it worse. I hope the practice takes this feedback seriously because a great dentist’s office deserves better front-end management.

With no insurance their savings package saved me $1100. I needed a root canal and 2 other dentists said I would have to wait for another consultation Dr. that could be a week to a month. All my dentists in the past were capable of this basic procedure and so was this one. Will be a patient for life. Thank you for all your help!

Positive experience: I thought the young girl who cleaned my gums did a good job. And the mouth wash she gave me to use afterwards is helping my gums not to hurt. They don't hurt at all

Fantastic experience: Great experience! Both Dr Parr and Yahaida are so knowledgeable and are able to explain details in a way I can understand. They listened to all my questions and made sure I understood the answers. The office staff also made my check in and check out easy, including insurance details.

Negative experience: The receptionist was really nice when scheduling the appt and they did get me in quickly, but I didn’t have treatment for what I went in for. Went in to have a filling repaired and was told I needed 7,000 worth of work done and he didn’t bother to fix the filling. So basically get the extensive work done or nothing. I Ended up seeing a different dentist the same day who took care of my immediate issue and that’s where I will be going moving forward.

Positive experience: Everyone was friendly and very nice. I did however feel plenty of pressure on my first visit to "buy the house". Felt like it was an all our nothing sales pitch that totaled between 300$ and over 4000$, even after I explained I go to the dentist every 3 months and fully understand where I stand. I was hoping for a more laid back experience, this office is closer to my home than my normal dentist. Unfortunately, I'll go right back to driving further. Very nice people. Very push you towards a sale though.

The office staff and dentist was so accommodating, courteous and thorough. The office is clean, and always background music to elevate your mood. A+

Negative experience: Never going back!!!! So tired of these dentist office trying to force what they want done. I went in for a regular cleaning and they were pushing a deep cleaning instead. Of course it costs more money and they want you to come back every 3-4 months, which the insurance will not cover. So since I refused, they refused to clean my teeth. It’s my mouth, my money and I should be able to decide what I want done. Bunch of scammers if you ask me!!!! My husband had an appointment for cleaning. Amazingly they cleaned his teeth but waited 45 minutes for the doctor to come in the room to examine him, SMH. Poor service!!!!! We just got up and left!!! Doctor didn’t even care!!!

Fantastic experience: I had to do a deep cleaning for gum inflammation and Yahaida is hands down the best hygienist! Super sweet and highly skilled, she loves what she does you can tell instantly. She put numbing gel on my gums so I didn’t feel any discomfort and now my teeth are brand new! Now we are back on the floss grind! The whole staff is amazing highly recommend!

Negative experience: Never again. Went there and had an evaluation.. tried to tell me I needed a deep cleaning that even with good dental insurance would have cost me over $800.. then they said after that I would have to pay $70 per cleaning because I would require special cleanings from then on. I passed. Now 5 months later I get a bill for $30 for the evaluation which should have been covered by my insurance, it always has been at other dentists. My teeth are in good shape I brush and floss everyday and they never bleed or hurt or anything. Avoid this place like the plague

Negative experience: I’ve been coming to this office since it opened. Even after moving away I would take the 35-40 minute drive passing what seems like 100’s of Dental Offices on the way out of loyalty. Today I showed up for my appointment and was turned away because “I didn’t confirm my appointment the day before.” Mind you I’ve been coming here for years and never confirmed one before and on top of that they didn’t even have the right number so how was I ever going to be able to confirm it? Instead of trying to fix it they just told no right away and that needed to reschedule. Definitely expected better service from them. I won’t be going back again.
