Fantastic experience: this place gave me the best wisdom tooth extraction experience ever. i’ve have my bottom ones taken out elsewhere so i was really nervous for it again cause it was such a bad experience. i was in and out of surgery in no time and Dr. Brian was talking me through the extractions and was as gentle as he could be. i had minimal swelling and no pain just sore, even after the numbing wore off. i was back to my normal self in about a week!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been so nervous about this oral surgery that I’ve needed for the last year. Well, yesterday was the day and to my surprise it was quick and painless. The staff had me feeling right at home. The one thing I was not thrilled with is the appointment time. I was to be there at 11:00 and my appointment was 11:15. Finally, after sitting in the waiting room for an hour and 20 minutes I was finally called back. I watched 5 people that arrived after me be called back before me. Work on that.

I’ve put off getting my wisdom teeth removed for 20+ years and they made the process seamless. I honestly don’t remember much and am here now 24 hours post op: I am shocked on how well I’m doing and how controlled my pain level is. No complications thus far, and I truly attribute it to the staff and Dr Stone for all the information they’ve provided me. Will highly recommend to anyone to use their team! Fantastic experience: I had all of my teeth extracted by Dr. Charles Stone in the hospital. Everything went very well and healing has gone smoothly but there has been a lot of pain. I think that is just part of the procedure. I'm now one week post-op and still have many areas that are inflamed and irritated. I also have been wearing temporary dentures that add to the pain but will help in the long run. I'm very pleased with the outcome and thank you to Dr. Stone and his staff for clear instructions and an excellent surgery. Everyone at Southern Surgery were kind, helpful and professional. They explain the procedure so you understand it. They listen to your fears if you have any and they know exactly how to calm your fears. Seriously, I feel so blessed to have found them. He worked with my dentist to get me scheduled for surgery asap because I am to start chemo soon, and needed to have multiple extractions done first. He and his staff put me at ease, explained exactly what needed to be done, and the surgery went flawlessly. I am on day 2 post op and have had absolutely NO PAIN. There was an issue with my pain medication at the pharmacy and Dr. Barker reached out after hours personally to resolve it. As it turns out, I haven't even needed it, not once! Dr. Barker's compassionate dedication and skill has been a blessing during a very difficult time in my life. I am so grateful, and highly recommend him.
