Fantastic experience: Dr Todd is awesome funny and great at what he does his staff are a delight would recommend to anyone that need a teeth work done.

Positive experience: Every time I go in everyone is nice and wonderful, that being said……. I have been trying to get teeth for over 6 months! And apparently it will take 2 or 3 more! Communication skills lacking a bit, along with making sure information is correct on patient info. It has been disappointing for me unfortunately hope this is not everyone’s case.

Negative experience: They canceled my appointment and I live 30 minutes away. I never saw the text message and never had to confirm a appointment before for anywhere else. Could have slept in if they at least told me they canceled my appointment, they do not care about their patients and their time and schedules.

Fantastic experience: I love the girls in the office! They worked me in as a new patient when I was having problems. Dr. Todd is very kind and a great Dentist. His assistant today was awesome as well!

Fantastic experience: Great and fast dental care, The nurses where pleasant and helpful and the doctor did a great job in a short amount of time, Honestly it was the best run dental care facility I've ever been in. The nurse was the greatest part she was kind patient and explained everything well, got everything set up and ready extremely fast and pretty much is the only reason it went as fast as it did or as well. The dentist was fast efficient and did her job to upsell, honestly it didn't feel like she had time to slow down a bit and was a bit rough, but the speed at which she got things done was highly impressive plus cracking teeth isn't exactly a soft approach thing and I wasn't the easiest patient. The nurse got me through it though, wish I was better with names so she could get the call out she deserves.

Negative experience: The scheduling system is crazy. I was scheduled for my appointment for 4 months and they cancelled at the last minute. They called to confirm while I was at work and unable to immediately return their call. Scanning the rest of the comments here, this happens FREQUENTLY with Mortenson. Incredibly Frustrated and Disappointed at the lack of courtesy and professionalism from this Dentist. We won't be going back, and if you are reading this, you should not either. Your time (and teeth) are far more important. Don't waste your time.

Fantastic experience: When I arrived I was greeted with a smile and kind staff everyone was very polite. I waited for less than 10 minutes and was taken to the back and had the best hygienist she cleaned my teeth very gently and thoroughly and I was finished in no time.

Negative experience: Came here and I had a bad tooth. I was really infected and they prescribed amoxicillin. So after taking the medication they was like oh well for us to do anything you have to pay that day up to 20 percent and I'm like I don't get paid but every 2 weeks and kept trying to schedule me before I got paid so I had to cancel that appointment. Called all the time during the morning and day and few weeks go by mouth swells up put on different antibiotics. Call schedule and appointment few days later they called me telling me we moved your appointment. Was to close to the time I went to work so I rescheduled. Got a phone call day of and said your appointment was at this time and I was like no we agreed on this time I'm omw. Very rude. Told me if Im 5 mins late can't pull my tooth which at this point has been over 2 months. I go in tooth pulled. The after care paper which says does and donts. Ive mad it 48 he's no smoking soft diet and I called and they are like oh he recommended 72 hrs and I'm like make up your mind why give people after care paper saying something else. Un organized. Very rude to other patients too. Block an elderly lady because she had to cancel so many schedules not caring lady might not have a ride or can't drive. Then laughed about it.

Fantastic experience: If you’re looking for a good dentist, this is the place. Office is very busy but handles everyone in a timely manner. Emily is awesome taking care of your teeth and gums. If you’re a crybaby like me she will set you at ease.

Fantastic experience: They are always ready to greet you with a smile and make you welcome. THATS HUGE!! The wait time is nothing crazy, what’s a couple minutes guys. Slow down. Do not ever hurt me in the chair very explanatory about what is happening that day. It’s just a very comfortable environment. Just real relaxed

Fantastic experience: I am in actual tears writing this because my visit today as a brand-new patient went so unbelievably well. The hygienist and his assistant went above and beyond in a way I’ve never experienced in a dental office. I’ve neglected my oral health for a few years, and I’m very self-conscious about it. I also have extreme dental anxiety from a traumatic, drawn-out orthodontic/surgical experience that lasted 14 years. These two were so kind, so gentle, and most importantly….they listened to me!!! They never made me feel judged or ashamed. Instead, they made me feel respected and cared for. Honestly, I found myself wondering, “Are they PhD-level oral hygienists?” Because their skill and compassion were soooo next-level. The front desk was also amazing!!. I was like way impressed the moment I saw a sign that said “If it’s been over 10 minutes since you’ve signed in and haven’t been called back come see us” l!! No medical or dental office operates with that kind of customer service…yeah…everyone and every thing in customer service and hospitality was next level During my cleaning, I had quite a few stains from some bad habits. I was ashamed. I fully expected to be scolded or have them ignored, but instead, my hygienist spent extra time carefully treating them, and he explained the habits that caused them WITHOUT causing me more shame that I already felt and he encouraged me to return every six months for routine cleanings. He removed many stains!!! Not once did he shame me!! He just educated me with patience and kindness. And his assistant…she created the whole calm environment from the get go. I have a couple crown repairs coming up, and I have full confidence in them. Love this place. Tons of amazing staff.

Fantastic experience: I love this dental office, I used to go to Health point in Kentucky and they told me I could not get approved for my crown that I would have to pay $900 for it but once I went to Mortenson Family Dental, they approved it right away with my medical card! They are the best dental place in Kentucky you can go to. Even if you got a medical card they will get it all done for you in no time and they don’t schedule out but a month or two at the most. Health point would schedule out as far as a year so, I am very excited to use them and I will use them for my whole family for the rest of my life! Wonderful staff, very friendly, and they think about you as an individual instead of just a patient number! 100% guaranteed satisfaction in my opinion!

Negative experience: I had to cancel a new patient visit due to having to go get a busload of kids from Indianapolis that broke down. And when I called and told them they said, I would have to wait a year before they could reschedule me due to their policy, I would not recommend this dentist to anyone.

Negative experience: Horrible!!! Saw Todd Mortenson. He filed my tooth down for a crown. Crown wouldn't fit right and he wouldnt fix it or send off to be re made. Dont recommend going to him for anything. He was rude and very unprofessional. Now i see he has horrible reviews and i understand why

Negative experience: They are very rude and expect you to answer the phone call or your appointment will be canceled. I lost my phone a couple of days before my appointment so I was unable to answer and I live an hour away. My appointment was canceled without me knowing until I showed up. The worst part is I have an email address and had access to it. Then when I called back to reschedule they refused my business. If you have any other places you can go, I would go to them.

Positive experience: Mortenson family Dental is very clean and the receptionist are friendly. The doctor explained everything I needed to know about receiving new dentures. I hated to lose my teeth but glad they got me taken care of.

I don’t remember the name of the hygienist who helped me but she was PHENOMENAL!! She made me feel comfortable and kept checking to make sure I was doing okay throughout my visit.

Fantastic experience: Great, friendly professional staff. I’ve been there a few times to get fillings and cleanings. I’m not too good with remembering names but all the dental assistants, staff members, hygienists and doctors I have interacted with there were always very friendly and kind to me. The environment is relaxing and my dentist appointments fly by fast, they also always play nice music on the speakers which really makes you relaxed while in the chair. I also like how their phone answering people are when you call the office if you have an issue or might need to reschedule, they’ve always been accommodating to me.

Negative experience: They are not patient tolerant. If you don't respond to their text and verify their appointment they will cancel your appointment and give it to someone else. So if you work in a building that you can't get text or calls come through and you forget or didn't have time to check your text your up the creek, they don't care. Especially if it's an emergency appointment like mine was. They don't care. They once stopped taking my insurance and didn't call to let me know and I had to find an alternative dentist at the last minute. 1500 people at my job were left without a dentist until my job could negotiate with them. This is the one in Lagrange, Ky.

Fantastic experience: It was the best friendlest place I've been to. I like it when you told me everything you was going to do. I felt like I was a person and not just a dollar sign. The dentist was nice she was really nice and her assit. Was very helpful. Them 2 make a good team. I want someone that care and is compassion. Fantastic experience: Fantastic service!!! The dentist was so helpful throughout the process of removing my teeth which I was sure would require an oral surgeon. She did great getting them out and reassuring me all the while. She got my dentures together and I am so happy with the service.

Negative experience: Have had same crown worked on for the last 3 years and have been dealing with it being infect for the last 2 years. While I was there in February the owner dr. Todd even said it was there in the previous xrays but now also in the bone and rescheduled for a month out as thats the soonest they could get me in and finally gave some antibiotics but due to me having different insurance now they said I had to pay it but would give me a 20% discount. I've never went to any other dentist but I will now and my whole family will not be back to this dentist.

Negative experience: Avoid these ppl they are unprofessional they will pull ur teeth rather than fix it and say Its what ur insurance prefer pay for they Will do your cleaning in several visits and not worry about the fact that you’re having emergency in your mouth with a broken tooth completely ignore the fact that you are in pain and your tooth needs fixed then if you miss one appointment and are 10 mins late to 1 one, they’ll no longer see you even though you’ve been there multiple times trying to get your tooth fixed and they keep scheduling you for cleaning that they wanna do three or four parts it’s the worst service I’ve ever seen continue to have me come in multiple times for cleanings, but won’t schedule me for the dental emergency. I am having. Not to mention the receptionist at the front desk was totally misleading in the first two times. She didn’t even want to schedule me an appointment.

Negative experience: Terrible time. I went in for an extraction of an infected tooth. They pulled my tooth before I was fully numb so I felt the entire extraction. Then while I’m sitting in their chair shaking from shock of the pain they barely wanted to give me something for the pain. I left there without any type of antibacterial mouth wash. Worst time ever, made me never want to go into that torture pit again.

Fantastic experience: The front office staff was professional and courteous. Haley took care of my cleaning and X-rays and did a great job. Dr. Todd made sure everything was as it should be and answered all my questions. Thanks for the excellent dental care!

Negative experience: I had a good experience all the way up until my last appt when I recieved my dentures. They didn't fit. Too big for my mouth. They are not centered. The bottom rocks up & down because I have no bone on one side & they knew that & even said it would cause problems if it wasn't fixed. No explanation on why or what to do next. I can barely close my mouth. I can't talk with them in. I can barely swallow. I was sent out the door very unsatisfied with a follow up in 6 months. So many issues with my dentures that I now can not wear. What am I supposed to do now!? Do not recommend getting dentures from here. Go somewhere else!!
