Services and Treatments
Harp Pediatric Dentistry - Lakeland: Reviews
Negative experience: Since they've changed over, all they care about is money & not the patients and the health of their teeth. If your child has 3 cavities, they're going to fill one, schedule an appointment months out, fill another, schedule months out again, and then fill the 3rd. Anything to bill insurance for the extra visits & laughing gas.

Fantastic experience: After going to 2 other dentist offices in the past 5 years, I can finally say that we have found an office we are happy with. My child is so good and brave going in and I am finally allowed to go in with her every step of the way. I am able to hold her hand while having the procedures done and that means the world to us. Fantastic experience: Dentist and staff were amazing. Detailing the whole process. Making us feel calm
Fantastic experience: I took my 7 yr old son to Tampa children’s surgery center for a dental procedure while being sedated. Our app. Time was for 10:00am. He didn’t get called in until 1:00. It was a long wait in the waiting room. But as soon as the called us back there it was pretty quick. And the procedure took only an hour. My son woke up, feeling great no pain. Everybody was nice there the receptionist the nurses and the doctor respected us and always asked us if we were good. I would definitely recommend this place. It’s good for nervous kids. The only thing I wish they had was something for the kids to play with in the waiting room. That’s it.
Fantastic experience: First, I want to thank Vicki, the receptionist, for her exceptional care. She was attentive and went above and beyond to help my daughter through a tough moment during her temper tantrum. Her kindness didn’t go unnoticed. Next, I want to recognize Lauren, the nurse who cared for Kelsie throughout the process. She held her, comforted her, and gave her the reassurance she needed. That meant the world to me. I also want to acknowledge the anesthesiologist whom my daughter decided needed a hug. He accepted it with grace, and his response to her kindness was genuinely appreciated. And lastly, thank you to the doctor for clearly explaining the procedure and maintaining a professional, calming presence throughout.
Fantastic experience: I took my son in for emergency check because he he fell and they were quick and helpful. They were so kind it made me feel at ease.

Negative experience: Procedure was fast and easy going. Unfortunately can’t say I had the best experience. I called a head of time and filled out all the paperwork work in advance. The dental cleaning went smooth. As I set up her appointment for her filling I was in formed that the office did not take my insurance. I had to pay $150 out of pocket.
Dear Jonathan,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We are pleased to hear that the procedure was fast and the dental cleaning went smoothly for your child. However, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you experienced regarding the insurance coverage.
We strive to ensure that all our patients have a seamless experience, and it is concerning to hear that there was a miscommunication about your insurance. We understand how important it is to have clarity on such matters, and we are committed to improving our processes to prevent this from happening in the future.
Please feel free to reach out to our office directly if you would like to discuss this matter further. We value your feedback and are here to assist you in any way we can.
Thank you for choosing Harp Pediatric Dentistry. We hope to have the opportunity to serve you better in the future.

Fantastic experience: We went for 1st time appt. I have 2 autistic kids 3 & 2 y/o. I was very stress out that they didn't cooperate but the assistant was treating them so sweet & patiently that it was possible to do cleaning, x rays, fluoride & exam. Very happy to see them go with the flow!
Fantastic experience: Will always recommend Dr.Mark he does the best work and is great with the kids . My sons nurse was amazing she understood my son is special needs and she kept him comfortable and relaxed .
Fantastic experience: They are friendly and take good care of my son and they would really nice and I love how everyone get alone with every patient and they did a good job I like them so much and they explaine to you everything you need to do when they done and I take my son home he was good .❤️
Fantastic experience: My two-year-old son had to go under general anesthesia due to a lip tie. He was born with. Of course, as a new mom, I was skeptical about the entire process however, as soon as I step foot through the door from the receptionist to the nurse to the surgeon to the anesthesiologist. They all made me feel so comfortable. They were also friendly and if I didn’t live 35 minutes away from this dentist, I would gladly take my children here for the rest of their lives. They made my experience so comfortable. I can’t stress it enough even out in the parking lot. A nurse came out to check on me because my son was really upset.
Fantastic experience: The nurse that was doing my son cleaning n exam rays was very patient i so recommend them
Fantastic experience: I am one of those nervous, over paranoid helicopter moms. Our experience at Edgewood sedation center was VERY GOOD. Everyone we interacted with was super friendly, made all of us feel at ease. From the receptionist at front desk to the is anesthesiologist, nurse and doctor. My 4 year old was even at ease. We got to meet everyone that was going to have a hand in our son's care. They all gave us time to ask questions, never made us feel rushed like our son was just another patient. They took the time to listen to our concerns and put us at ease.. so glad we chose Edgewood sedation center.
Fantastic experience: I had a great experience at Harp Pediatric Dentistry. Service was timely and professional. My daughter is special needs and everyone was very caring and gentle with her. Kid friendly environment. I definitely recommend Harp Pediatric Dentistry for your family.
Positive experience: Yasrebi’s Dental is now Harp’s Dental. One thing that I loved about the prior is that Dr. Yasrebi introduced herself to me at our first visit, then later on Dr. Khalajni tx us. I’m not aware on who Dr. Harper is not do I think I’ve met him or her. I had to walk out of my sons’ last appointment, bc the doctor left us in the room waiting, because I excused myself to ask the front desk TWO questions. 2-5 minutes later, I returned to the room only to find the provider working on the neighbor’s mouth. I waited 15 minutes then left. Don’t think that your status makes you superior over your patients.
Thank you, Cerase!
Negative experience: I brought my 2.5 year old in about a week and a half ago and did not have a good experience. The front desk, tech and especially the doctor were all unfriendly. When we got to the seat the dentist didn’t even acknowledge us and just sat there. He didn’t give me any information during the appointment - I had to pry it from him. I don’t think I saw one smile the entire visit which is insane for pediatric. They didn’t try to make my anxious daughter comfortable. They were all just quiet and sat there and would stare at her. It was not a welcoming/comfortable place for children especially anxious toddlers. On top of it we were scheduled for a procedure with them which they are not refunding the deposit for after we expressed our concerns so now we are out $100. Will not be returning and beware with your littles!
Fantastic experience: My son is 5 he got his baby molars removed and received silver caps the process was smooth he felt comfortable the procedure went smoothly. The Nurse, Anesthesiologist, and Doctor were all available and ready to answer every question asked. The process was in and out and we were on our way really appreciate the staff a very great team.
Positive experience: Daughters first time at the dentist, The staff was very nice and accommodating!
Fantastic experience: Took my child in today for an spacer and had a wonderful experience! The staff was warm and welcoming, and the assistant was gentle, patient, and explained everything in a way I could understand. My little one left smiling — highly recommend for kids!
Negative experience: We recently brought our daughter in for a second opinion. Our first visit was at the Brandon location and the staff there was not great and our experience was horrible. We came to the Lakeland location for our second opinion, hoping for a better experience. We told the nurse ahead of time of our daughter’s bad experience and really needed their help making her comfortable. Though the nurse understood, she was not helpful and seemingly had little to no experience with children. There was no bedside manner geared towards our toddler. We then saw the dentist, who also lacked bedside manner. He did not greet us upon walking up and also provided no comfort to our daughter, thus our daughter was uncomfortable and not cooperative. We scheduled our follow up appointment for sedation, however in short hours after, my wife and I decided we would rather find someplace different we would be comfortable with and that met our daughter with friendliness and enthusiasm. Though I called just 2-3 hours to cancel the sedation appointment we made for a month out, the receptionist refused to return our deposit. All in all, this “pediatric” dentist office seemed to have no bedside manner with making our child comfortable in a new place. I could not recommend this facility less if your child is nervous about the dentist, as I assume most are.
Negative experience: The hygienist was wonderful and kind. The so-called dentist did not speak to my wife or my child about what she was doing or looking at it, did not even introduce herself, and then left. Such a strange and disconcerting experience. So glad we are switching dentists' office. Peak Dental in Bartow is wonderful and accepts children!
Positive experience: Waited endlessly (2 hours) for the doctor to see my son and had to leave without completing the visit due to time constraints ! This place is not as it used to be when under Dr Yasrebi, she is the best!!
Fantastic experience: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I cannot say enough good things about our experience at Edgewood Sedation Center! My 10-month-old son had his frenectomy done under anesthesia, and from start to finish, the entire team was absolutely incredible. The nurse, anesthesiologist, and dentist were so kind, professional, and patient — they truly made us feel at ease during a nerve-wracking day. Everything was explained clearly, the process was smooth, and they treated my son with such gentle care. The procedure itself was so fast, and they had him back in my arms before I even had time to worry. I am beyond grateful for the compassion and skill of this team. If you’re a parent nervous about your child undergoing anesthesia, I can assure you that you will feel safe and supported here. Truly outstanding care!
Fantastic experience: Everyone was nice and friendly from the front desk all the way back to the nurses and the dentist and the anesthesia doctor they came they explained things to me and my son. The doctor was very open honest and clear about everything that was going on. Only thing I would say is they should give the kids a little bit more time on waking up before letting them go home, but everything was fine surgery and everything went well. They explain everything to me that needed to be explained and I really appreciate you guys so much. don’t quit what you’re doing. Keep up the good job and keep being caring, loving, and understanding people y’all rock.
Negative experience: We absolutely love Dr Mona and all of the associates. They are all very sweet and kind to the kids. I like that they allow a parent to come back with the child even during treatment. I also love that they listen to the request of the parents and do their best to do the least minimally invasive treatment. The only negative I can think of about the practice is the aesthetics of the office-it is definitely due an updating! Some of the kids games in the waiting room don’t work and the carpet and chairs are kind of gross. Other than the 1980s vib it is an amazing pediatric dentist and honestly I think the best in Lakeland! Update: Unfortunately Dr. Mona is no longer at the practice and I must change my 5 star review to a 2 star review. The office still is very dated and honestly in very bad shape. The new doctor (not sure if she is a fill in or new doctor) did not even say hello to the children nor myself. Checked their teeth and walked away. We will be finding a new dentist. In addition, our appointment was at 8 and it was 10:30 when we left. Completely unacceptable amount of time for a cleaning.
Fantastic experience: I was scared at first my kids had not gone in to sedation before but everything went so well and fast they were all nice and patient!!
Negative experience: Came here 3 months ago for a second opinion regarding my son needing crowns. Turned out he didn’t need them because he didn’t have any cavities, just staining from his vegetable purees. The dentist that saw him at time, tried to get rid of some of the staining with a tool that she had. She recommended every 3 months to come in to get all of the staining out. She didn’t mention anything about him needing sedation. I come in for the 3 month appointment. This male dentist was there and he immediately stated my son needs sedation and that it’s written in the notes and he was recommended that twice already. I don’t even think he was looking at the right chart because it’s only been recommended once at another location and that was for him to get crowns not cleaning. After that he turns to the dental assistant and tells her something. The dental assistant sat down and said well we’re just going to give a regular cleaning, we’re just going to brush his teeth.Um, we can do that at home, we didn’t come all this way for that. I will not come here anymore; not only the notes were not matching what I was told, but the doctor today was rude not informing the parents that the cleaning was not taking place anymore instead just told the dental assistant something and walked off.
Fantastic experience: My son has always had anxiety about going to the dentist (from bad experience at another practice). I am so thankful for the staff at Harp in Lakeland, today was the first time ever NO STRESS!!! He is very sensitive, sensory, they are quick and efficient and very KID FRIENDLY!
Fantastic experience: The staff was kind and wonderful with our daughter. Very professional!
Fantastic experience: Took my 4yo in today for crown placements which required sedation. I was extremely nervous because parents aren’t allowed back with the child during the procedure. As soon as I walked in, the receptionist greeted us with a smile & acknowledged my son, made us feel welcomed & even gave him 2 tokens to use on their little toy dispenser. The nurse was also super welcoming & took the time to explain everything & held a conversation with my son to make him feel comfortable with her. The anesthesiologist & the dentist came in to speak to us, explain everything & made sure we didn’t have any more questions prior to the procedure. The procedure took 40 minutes from the time he went back to the time he was brought out. I know, it seems like a long time but once you’re there, the time goes by very fast! When my son woke up, the only thing he remembers is being given a “nasty” candy. I was so relieved he didn’t remember it as a bad experience! Needless to say, Harp dental team did amazing & I will continue taking my babies there!
Fantastic experience: The women who welcomed me and my son were so kind and sweet to us! They made sure I knew every step of the process and pricing. The dentist and anesthesiologist both came to speak with me and made sure I knew everything and made me feel at ease! 100% recommend for your littles.
Fantastic experience: Just took my son there for dental work loved everything about the staff everyone was so nice and reassuring i was so nervous to have my son go under since it was his first time he is 4 years old and I just can’t say nothing but good things about our experience thank you to everyone that helped us from the receptionist, anesthesiologist, nurses, and the dentist everyone was so kind
Fantastic experience: My 6 year old had some work done there today and everyone was so nice and friendly. Dr Samuel and nurse Derek were absolutely amazing, so sweet, kind, and took the time to explain and answer any questions I had and they were so good with my son. I had a truly amazing experience!!! Highly highly highly recommend if your kiddos need work done :)
Fantastic experience: All around a great place. Everyone is very kind from the front desk staff all the way up to the dentist and the anesthesiologist. My daughter (4) left there in good spirits and wanting whatever squishy ball toy they played with her with before her sedation. Hoping we never have to do this again with her but if we do we will definitely come back here.
Positive experience: Since Dr. Yasrabi retiring the office is over crowded, and service timeliness has decreased. It used to be excellent overall and now is just average. Update: needs cleaning.
Negative experience: THE ONLY PLEASANT ENCOUNTER from the entire experience was that the procedure itself was less than 40 minutes. After arriving in the office as instructed at 7:30 am for an 8:00 am appointment only to have an almost 1 and 1/2 HOUR WAIT without any updates as to why we were still waiting to be seen. After waiting ANOTHER 40 MINUTES in the consultation room for the Dr., I did question and express my concerns and observations to an associate passing by. Wondering why there was such a delay in service, if it was in my son’s best interest to continue with the appointment, and why others that arrived hours after us were seen/consulted before us. The Dr. did come in just before 10:00 and rather defensive might I add regarding the concerns I previously mentioned. After exchanging pleasant sarcastic comments we were able to finish the consultation. Additionally, the Dr. requested my son be moved up on the list being that HE WAS SKIPPED A FEW TIMES while we were waiting to be called. He was FINALLY called back for the procedure at 10:30 am and finished by 11:10 am. For a first and CERTAINLY LAST VISIT, it was far from a pleasant experience. Definitely NOT DESERVING OF ANY STARS!!!!!!
Fantastic experience: From initial call with phone staff setting up appt., front desk staff and Dr. Evan Busby, ALL very pleasant and welcoming. Thank you all
Negative experience: If I could give it less stars I would ! The older lady who works on the sedation side . ( I wish I caught her name ) is RUDE! She has zero compassion for developmental disabled children. My son is autistic and non verbal . She lumped him into “ half the kids we see are autistic “ and rolled her eyes !! The facility is dirty . It needs done updating but at the very least a good scrub . Dr. Mona has no bedside manner . Didn’t communicate or say much of anything , even when you ask her questions. I’m pretty sure she hates her job or atleast she acts like it . Beware !
Fantastic experience: A pleasant experience all around! Friendly, helpful staff and no wait time :)
Positive experience: guess I'll share more after I have my son get work done. Idk if I went on a bad day or what but dentist was very short with my child but then was very talkative/friendly with the child next to us. My 2 year old was waving bye and he didn't even acknowledge him. Also got there at 8:30 and wasn't seen by the dr until 9:50ish my appt was at 9. He immediately wanted my son to be put under anesthesia which insurance doesn't cover so it's $300 , I asked if I could get nitrous instead because my 2 year old actually does really good at the dentist but after waiting an hour of course he's going to be a little restless. It's unnecessary in my opinion to put a child under anesthesia for a filling when it can be broken up into sessions with numbing and nitrous. I think it's just a way to get extra money for them especially if you have Medicaid. Front office ladies were nice until I questioned the $300 and she said "nothing is 100% covered with any insurance" which is untrue. My insurance actually does cover anesthesia but their specific office doesn't accept any insurance when being put under. It's excessive. I'm only bringing my son back because this is the only dentist in an hour drive that takes the insurance we have.
Fantastic experience: Kind staff, went as smooth as possible for extensive dental work on my 6yr old. Would recommend.
Fantastic experience: Great dentist office. Very interactive with the kids. I will definitely be switching my kids to be seen at Herp Dental from now on. Thank you guys for making me and my children feel welcome .
Fantastic experience: Everyone was so nice and the dentist was great w my daughter with autism and my other daughter was adhd for the very first time to the dentist thank you doctor harp
Fantastic experience: Everybody in the office is sweet as can be. They get us in super fast, always make us both feel comfortable and definitely make my toddler happy & comfortable. They include her in certain important things, they’re patient and just fantastic all around. Very communicative and helpful. We drive an hour to go here because they’re so good and we will always stay here as long as we’re in FL!
Fantastic experience: The office personal front desk dental assistants Hygienists dentists all of them are friendly, respectful, accommodating the office is clean and quite
Fantastic experience: Staff is great, Dr Busby is amazing. We had such a pleasant experience
Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this place! My daughter is usually very anxious about going to the dentist, but the team here handles everything with such patience and care. The office is clean and welcoming, and the front desk staff are incredibly kind and sweet. We’ve had a great experience!
Fantastic experience: Great experience for my teen! The dentist was super friendly and explained everything clearly, which made my teen feel comfortable and involved. The office was clean, and the staff treated her with respect—not like a little kid. Highly recommend for teens & children.
Negative experience: My mother took my daughter for a quick emergency visit. She said she felt rushed. They took an xray and did not shield even though my daughter saw the lead apron hanging up in the room. I’ve been in xray for 17 years, it takes a few seconds to put a shield on a patient. Always shield especially for pediatric patients, that’s basic patient care.
Fantastic experience: I LOVE this place. I live an hour, and half away. Worth it. By default my referral always goes to Orlando surgery center, but with the amount of people that are sent there they have no urgency to help children in pain booking my kids 4 months later. I have been here at Harp on two different occasions with two different children, because I called in desperation for help. Even if they seem booked up, they take the time to speak to the dentist who ALWAYS made time for my child in true need of care. My children were seen, then scheduled for dental work all within one month. Everyone here is so nice, and they care for your child's pain as much as you do. When it comes to the sedation team you meet the team one by one as they explain who they are, what they do, and continue to answer any questions. I trust this place, and will recommend this beautiful office every time a child needs a dentist. If you are someone out there desperately looking for a good dental office, this is it! If sedation for small children scare you, know that you can put your trust in this team. My children were 6, and 4 going under sedation getting lot of work done. After the first day/night the pain subsided quickly. I will never stop recommending this place.
Fantastic experience: Our first experience yesterday was wonderful. It was laid pack, informed and great customer service. I wish we had found this dentist years ago when my kids were younger!
Fantastic experience: We came from children and teen dental in Lakeland after having the worst experience there. Our experience at Harp was night and day compared to the other location. Every single employee at Harp was cheerful, friendly & helpful. They made my 13 year old son feel at home and did the job quick enough that we weren’t there for 3+ hours like the other location. This location was very clean and not crowded at all. Look forward to returning with our younger kiddos. Thank you to the entire staff.
Negative experience: I scheduled an appointment today for a cleaning for my child and when I arrived they advised me that he wasn’t due for a cleaning yet! If my child wasn’t due for a cleaning why would you schedule an appointment for a cleaning? I live 40 minutes away from the dentist office, this was unacceptable to say the least!
Fantastic experience: The staff were kind and very good with our daughter. It was a great experience and my daughter can grow up confident with her smile. Thank you!
Fantastic experience: Dr. Hankerson, Nurse Brittney and Nurse Lauren (the Lorax) were amazing with my son. He is highly sensitive, and this was going to be this first surgery, but they made it so much fun for him by playing games, and being silly which made him comfortable.
Fantastic experience: My kids had their first appointment today and they felt so safe and comfortable. The hygienist and doctor were great at communicating. So glad we found this practice after years of trying other practices in town.
Fantastic experience: I always have great experience here. The waiting time is short. I can be with my daughters through the all appointment. They never asked me to leave them alone. They explain every procedure and ask for permission. I feel I am in control of my daughters health. The best place in town for the dental’s needs of my little ones.
Negative experience: For being a pediatric dentist, they are not very patient with kids! My son has a very sensitive gag reflex so he needs breaks and to spit a couple times so he doesn’t throw up. The hygienist was getting very impatient and even asked my husband if he behaves like this at home! What does that mean! No lady at home we are putting a disgusting fluoride in his mouth and we are patient with him. Even the dentist barely answered my husbands questions. We won’t be going back.
Fantastic experience: My grandson was scared to see the dentist to get his teeth clean. I sent him to Harp Dental due to their experience working with children with issues such as autism. My grandson came back smiling after getting his teeth cleaned.
Fantastic experience: We had such a positive experience, I can’t say enough good about it! Everyone was extremely kind and compassionate, Brittney especially was incredible. We thank you all!
Positive experience: Took my 17 year old daughter there for the first time. She has been going to Dr.Bopp since she was about 3 years old so she has new insurance now that does not take Dr.Bopp office anymore.Overall they were okay but I did not get the same warm and genuine experience that we have had since day one at Dr.Bopp office
Negative experience: It is Not like when Yaresbi use to own the office and was providing services. I am still dealing with information since 3years ago that is still in the system for an insurance that we do not have and every time I come in I still get notify of this, as if it was never advised before. we no longer have it and nothing gets changed. There is no coordination and every year there is new employee at the front desk. Sadly service is not the same and are more focused on getting patients and Medicaid.
Fantastic experience: I can not say enough great things about this dentist office. My experience here was one of the best. The office is very nice, clean, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. My son is on the spectrum. They went above and beyond to explain everything to him to where he understood everything that they were doing. I can't thank them enough for making his experience wonderful. We look forward to going back again and will highly recommend this place to all of my friends and family.
Fantastic experience: First time coming here and I love it the hospitality the cleanliness everyone one there was polite and welcoming most definitely will allow my daughter to age out here.
Negative experience: Only allowing one parent to be with your very young child when there's enough space in the corner of the room, while there having a procedure, very nervous, not knowing how they will react to anything for the first time, while the other parent is forced to be scared alone in the waiting room is absolutely ridiculous!!!! Very angry, I raved about this place , now I'm furious!!!
Fantastic experience: My girls absolutely love this place!! They get so excited to know that they’re gonna go to the dentist and Always ask me when are they going back! The staff is super friendly and very helpful!
Fantastic experience: My husband has taken 3 of our 6 kids here recently and love them. Now I must schedule my older 2 children since he loves this place. Just like our pediatrician, they may be with us until every last kid ages out. Thank you for the care and comfort you have provided our kids with.
Fantastic experience: Clean, upfront about cost they explained everything in great detail. The staff answers any question you have and follows up promptly to check on the patient if they had sedation for fillings. Little wait time when I went in the morning. Helped me to the car since I have a lot of kids. Great place.
Positive experience: Previous review was for Dr. Yasrebi who I guess sold her practice to Harp. It's ugly they've taken her reviews and made them their own, so I'm editing mine. Took my daughter there for an 8am appointment to find doors locked and another family waiting. Were finally let in at 8:10, after which I was told they dont take our insurance. I asked them to recheck, which they then suddenly discovered they did (?) We then waited another 20 mins before they told us the "provider" was running late. We were given the option to wait despite them not knowing how long it would take, or rescheduling. It was 830 at this point, and with Dr. Yasrebi, we would've been nearly done. Given it was a school day, we rescheduled. Came back, waited 30 mins before getting called back, then another 20 mins in between services. Hygienists seemed pleasant enough but the Dentist seemed like she didn't want to be there. Just not the vibe we've experienced for the past 4 years. The magic of Dr. Yasrebi is gone. Unfortunately we will be too.
Fantastic experience: We love Harp Pediatric Dentistry. Kind staff, quick appointments, clean facility, parental involvement allowed. Highly recommend
Negative experience: Their phone calls for confirming never come through to my phone, so it never shows they call. Also, i can never get through to them when i call back. They dont text to confirm. So how can i get my kid in when they dont communicate at all? Also, the dental assistant did the cleaning and charged my insurance for a full cleaning. Insurance fraud?
Fantastic experience: 4 year old busy boy needing crowns and fillings. He loved the toys in the waiting area and all the nurses, the anesthesiologist, and dentist were so kind and caring. Everything I needed to know for post-procedure care was laid out clearly. Would recommend!
Fantastic experience: This dentist was very well organized. Friendly staff as well very attentive , supportive. Very fast they took both my boys in and got to the root of what needed to be done. We went to children teen dental for years and I am very disappointed on how they will take money for my children mouths and never needed the work that the calm to be needed done. Thank you Harp pediatric for pointing that out. Glad I was given a second opinion. Now harp dental will remain our new dentist.
Fantastic experience: Great experience for my 3 daughters, everyone was super nice. The lady who was patient with my with my 3 year olds cleaning was awesome! Would definitely recommend to everyone!
Fantastic experience: It was wonderful!!! They really good with the kids and the parents. Make you feel comfortable treating your child. They explained everything about the procedure. Really, really good I totally recommend them!!! God bless them all!!!
Fantastic experience: They are always nice, pleasant, quick, efficient and they explain everything in detail to you before the surgery and what their next moves are. Even after the surgery, the directions were very clear and they give good service with a smile
Positive experience: Dr. Hankerson, Nurse Lauren, & Nurse Britteny at Yarebi Smiles Pediatric Dentistry made my toddler’s visit a breeze. The office is bright and welcoming, and the staff is incredibly gentle and patient with young children. They used a mild sedation option to help keep my little one calm during the procedure, and it worked perfectly. The process was smooth, and my toddler did great after the procedure. When she first woke she slightly cried only for not even a minute. I held & snuggled her. While doing so, she dozed back off & I continued to hold her until she woke again. Once back up she was perfectly fine & did not want to rest but play with duckies & go to the park. I highly recommend this practice for parents looking for an stress-free dental experience for their little ones! The only thing I disliked was the payment option. While signing the forms prior to her appointment I read that the payments can be broken down into $50. Also, while signing the forms the day of the procedure I read an signed it again. But when I received the paper to sign for the payments it said $400 which would be broken down into $200 twice. I wish that was clearly communicated with me because I was expecting to make the payments I read & signed. Overall good experience, This place calmed my mom anxiety. I recommended!
Negative experience: The ladies who clean teeth are wonderful. The "dentist" should NOT be working with children, she's rude and lacks basic communication skills when it comes to interacting with children. I deeply regret putting my kids in that situation.
Positive experience: Friendly and efficient staff. Easy to make an appointment. Dr. Mona is friendly and easy to talk to. The office is under new ownership so you can see some changes starting. Our appointments are usually quick and my children have no fears. My only complaint is the music that plays, it may seem like a strange complaint but it’s usually not kid friendly music playing in the background.
Thank you so much for your feedback! If any of your friends or family need help, please let them know about us!
Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough good things about this place! The process is very easy when you arrive, the clinic is clean and calming which is super important for small kids in making them comfortable. There are tons of kid friendly toys, and things they can interact with. The nurses, dentist, and anesthesiologist talk with your kid with so much kindness and patience which makes everything so much easier for your babies! My daughter had a great experience, even tho she can be shy she felt super comfortable even going back for her procedure on her own ☺️ they have great service and even better follow up support for your kiddos making sure everything goes well after their procedure. My daughter loves her teeth now and I’m so glad I brought her here!
Fantastic experience: Great friendly staff, well educated and very kind to first time parents and child like ourselves answering all the questions to make sure you feel comfortable with all the work that needs to be done with your child!! I will highly recommend this office and their staff.
Fantastic experience: Would recommend anyone, anytime! Their office is great for kids, the team they have is the best! Funny, caring toward the children! Could not have had a better visit! 10/10
Fantastic experience: This was our second time using the sedation services at Edgewood and the nurses, Dentist and Anesthesiologist are always amazing. It can be very stressful as a parent but they are very reassuring and wonderful with children. I had the option to use another sedation dentist that was no charge but I chose to pay the money just because of how amazing they are with my son. They actually care.
Fantastic experience: The women at the front desk was so helpful I wish I would of gotten her name, from checking in to verify all our insurance information to the very end when we had to check out she was so pleasant to work with. The actual dental assistant and dentist were also very friendly and helpful.
Fantastic experience: Our 8 year old daughter has never had to be sedated before and we were so nervous. The front desk, dentist, anesthesiologist, and nurses were very helpful from the beginning to end telling us every detail and making us feel more comfortable along the way. Thank You All so much! Highly recommend!!!
Negative experience: Let me start by saying , i will absolutely never in my life recommend a child experience what my son experienced. To start with this. My son had a issue with his tooth he is 4 years old in december ended up having to go to another dentist (with this one) due to the short urgency. They got him in and planned to do a procedure in January the 28th. I was first giving a price in december was okay with the out of pocket price. Then call to confirm in january since we are in a new year and the price went up about 350$ which to some is a lot in todays world. Then the day of the appt the price went up again. now these prices were giving to me from THE OFFICE MANAGER. So i did not have the new amount and they knew what i had for the appt. So they inform they will place me on a payment plan starting next month as in a week from the appt. So not only did i spend 1000$ in office a week later i have to pay another 200$ and then going on. I confirmed before any of this i was going to be aloud with my son due to this is all a first for him they said absolutely until he starts to go to sleep then i had to step out that was fine. And then when he was done i would be the first person he sees when he wakes up. When we arrive that was never said to me basically i’m lying. absolutely not i know what i was told from the office manager. So i just say okay whatever. The dentist meets with us and confirms what he will do said he would need to come back in 3 weeks for space bar put in. So now it’s time for them to come get my son and take him to the back and start the process. So they do. They said it will be about 40 min to an hour. It was about 45 min. and they are informing me he was done he did great. So first time mom i wanted nothing more then to get to my baby and i hear him making sounds. I see him being held by a nurse and she’s walking out to me, she was great. And my son is slinging himself around screaming like i’ve never heard before hitting me hitting his dad slamming his head around. And absolutely completely lost in the eyes he had absolutely no idea who i was or his father. and basically the staff was like here you go have a good day. I am in complete shock i can not even hold my son he was so out of it. his dad had to take him when he seen me struggling. We were both in fear he was going to physically harm himself he was not right. i’m trying to talk to the staff about the next appt and space bars and one says they did it other says they didn’t (it was not supposed to be done) So at this point i inform you need to figure out what was done and it got to out of control how my son was we were rushed out a “side door” so conversation over. I just said i’ll call later. the office manger walks out with us to the car and stands here. It took myself and my sons father to get him in the car and strapped in his car seat. Absolutely ridiculous i say how long is this going to go on what is wrong with him he, she said maybe 30 minutes maybe 2 hours. i am completely mind blown as to why my son was released like this. Absolutely ridiculous yet again. We get him in the car and leave and he has another episode of this again. Get him home and finally about 45 minutes it’s over he’s his normal self. Thank god i couldn’t handle another episode it was absolutely terrifying to watch. all i could do was cry for him. So the next day i call to speak with a higher up manager because i am pissed. Nobody called to check on my son nothing. I had to call AGAIN for a manager and then finally get someone on the phone and speak with her. Shes supposed to return a call because i want something done. And yet nothing has come in as a call again. i’ve called and left voicemails. Do not tell me you will follow up and not. This was supposed to be treated as “urgent”. I will be the voice for the next parents because this was absolutely hell. I am beyond pissed. Something will be done.
Fantastic experience: Very impressed with this office. They were all very nice and professional. My son was scheduled into the surgery center ASAP (literally the next day) and the communication was great. I work during the day so a lot of it was handled over texting which was nice because I’m on the phone all day with my job. Definitely recommend!!
Positive experience: I had a good experience here for my daughter’s first ever dental visit. They were able to get her in for exam & cleaning the following week after I called. Check in & check out process went smooth, although I did think the assistant really didn’t know how to handle/interact with my child. I have worked in dentistry as well & have worked with kids here & there. I feel like when it’s the child first time they should be a little more thorough & interact more with the child especially if it’s their 1st time but other then that it did go pretty smooth.
Negative experience: My hygienist was not pleasant at all and in a rush I heard others talking to kids and mine said nothing to my 6yr old and it was her very 1st dentist appointment so she was a bit nervous and she didn’t do anything to make her comfortable. Yes because of this one hygienist and the fact that there lobby toys/entertainment is still broken after years I have been there with my now 10 year old son I will be finding another one as they don’t care to keep up there facility up and this hygienists had better things to do then make my daughter comfortable on her 1st visit.
