Dr. Purcell and his assistant took care of me immediately with very little wait time! My dental hygienist, Danielle, is excellent! Couldn't ask for better! She's very thorough, and explains everything in a knowledgeable and professional manner. My dentist, Dr. Purcell has always done an excellent job! He has a great since of humor, is quite thorough, and gentle. This office is top notch! Dr. Ramos (their new dentist) is the best! She is so thorough and quite an asset to their office. Nothing less than excellence and professionalism with her! She goes into great detail regarding your procedure and has followed up via phone to check on how you're doing. She is efficient, gentle , kind and very professional, as well as Dr. Purcell and the office manager! When I have a sudden dental situation, they are good at getting they seen as soon as possible! I am so grateful for finding this practice, for my dental work!

Today I had a dental assistant that was very friendly Lori and unfortunately I don’t remember the other assistant’s name but, they were both very professional. Fantastic experience: I am in the process of an implant and lost my temporary toot, lower front tooth. I called the office and immediately solved my situation by providing me with one the built in the office until the one temporary arrived ten days later! They save my life because and I teach and had a weeding that weekend and couldn’t have done any without my tooth. So grateful to them that they did this on a Friday when I know they do not work. I have been a patient of Dr Purcell since 2013 and he and his team are the best.

Fantastic experience: I had a problem with my upper left molar that had an infection and caused my face to swell up so bad I couldn’t hardly talk . this morning and contacted the Dentist Office for help. They scheduled a visit that afternoon. The Doctor and the assistant were both very attentive to my emergency , they both discussed various replacement or extraction techniques that were necessary and needed. I felt like they were both doing a great job and had my personal well being as their first priority. Since I was a cancer survivor and had received several radiation treatments on my tongue and mouth area I had developed rapid tooth decay causing more damage than expected. The Doctor was very helpful in treating me for the tooth damage and loss.

Fantastic experience: First let me say that I have neglected my teeth ,mainly because of fear and other issues . I have been having a problem & decided it needed to be addressed . I was recommended to Advanced Dental by our neighbors.. We are new to the area and my husband is also with Advanced Dental Care.. From the beginning with the receptionist to the medical assistant and the dentist , Dr. Erika Pimental I was given courtesy , kindness , thorough x rays , exam and detailed explanation what issues I have and what can be done to help correct and improve my health overall . By the time I left there I was happy & felt overjoyed with the caring shared with my by Dr Pimental and her assistant . This was actually my first appointment with them and I have never been so relaxed and comfortable with any dentist from childhood till now. I would recommend this office to anyone - actually looking forward to my next appointment with them.

Fantastic experience: What an amazing experience… every staff associate made you feel comfortable, by explaining everything they were doing in a professional down to earth manner. Very friendly receptionists and office personnel.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Dr. Purcell and Danielle for years and absolutely love the level of compassion and expertise they have. I am a heart patient with Ehlors Danlos Syndrome. Numbing meds do not work, my jaw partially dislocates, and I have periodontal disease. Going to the dentist is becoming more and more painful, but Danielle has adapted to try and make it as gentle as possible during cleanings. She has helped me with the insurance company, taught me how to best care for my teeth at home, and just reminds me to breathe to get through it. I recommend them for everyone, but especially if you have unique issues that require someone to listen and work with you!

Fantastic experience: I had 1.5 hour appointment to get a temporary crown while my permanent one is being made. Dr Pinentel and her assistant were so professional and friendly. The procedure was done with care and efficiency. The follow up appointment today was equally impressive. The delivery of the crown went seamlessly and the entire process was efficient, professional and friendly.

Fantastic experience: No one likes to go to the dentist and have teeth extracted, or whatever. But Advanced Dental Care is the place to go. The dentists and periodontists are professional, their assistants are always focused on helping out, the hygienists rock and the front office staff is top notch. Just today, a routine cleaning by Danielle and scans by Julia and Roxanne -- beyond my expectations. That's the norm at Advanced Dental.

She welcomed me with a positive attitude and made sure I was comfortable the whole time!!! She was very gentle to during x-rays. Dr. Purcell is hands down the BEST dentist I have ever seen. Fantastic experience: Love the hygienist Miguel he is thorough and is gentle and fast. This visit with Dr Purcell went good …he really listened and took care of the problem… and my bite wing X-rays were done easily and without any complications… it was a great visit.. also they check your insurance and let you know beforehand what’s being covered and what you are paying out of pocket! They don’t upsell you anything … great visit! I would recommend them! The whole office staff are so friendly!

Negative experience: Terrible front desk personnel. I came for an appointment I booked online with the periodontist. At the front desk I was informed that my appointment was not with the periodontist, he is not even here. I had taken time off work, driven 30 minutes and was not happy. I knew the name of the periodontist I booked with and asked the girl to please check to see how it happened. Her reply was did you book online? I said yes, she said, well thats why. (???) I asked to speak to the office manager. She came back with she will be out in 20 minutes if you want to wait. I said no thank you. The real issue is the lack of caring by her. Or the manager for that matter.

Negative experience: I had a tooth implant and the stiches kept getting pulled by the tooth next to it. Bleed most of the first night and my face was really swollen for 3 days. I had a very hard time eating. Bad experience

Fantastic experience: You can always tell how good or bad a business might be just from their front desk employees. Here at ADVANCED DENTAL CARE Lakewood Ranch, it’s obvious they all love their job as they were very welcoming when I came in. While I had used this location years ago before I moved away, I was so grateful to find it again and to find out that my favorite dentist, Dr. Purcell was still working there. Amber, Julia and Barbara were amazing as well and I left my appointment feeling really good and less anxious because of them. Oh, and did I mention how knowledgeable and economical they are! If you choose this location, you will not be disappointed.

I saw Dr. Purcell for the first time and felt very confident he would take care of my problem. Instead of recommending a new crown, which other offices would have and have done, he worked at cleaning everything up, adjusting the crown so it fit perfectly and placing it back in my mouth. The hygienist explained everything clearly. I have been to the office several times for dental cleanings and the hygienist I saw, Keverly, is probably the best one I have ever used. I highly recommend Advanced Dental Care Lakewood Ranch. My husband and I are delighted to have found this practice!

She is an expert in her practice of dental hygiene as well as kind and efficient. She keeps me out of the dentist’s chair (no offense to Dr. Purcell whom Danielle says is an exemplary dentist and human being).

He doesn’t try to convince me to do unnecessary work, which I greatly appreciate. He’s helped me over the phone when needed (through Barbara, an extremely professional office manager). He’s referred me to excellent specials when needed.
