Fantastic experience: Best hygenist I've ever been to.

Fantastic experience: Moved around quite a bit in my life so finding a new dentist is always scary, but this place truly put my mind at ease. Happy to go there and to recommend them to my friends.

Fantastic experience: Everyone at Quirt Family Dentistry is so caring. I have recommended them to multiple people.

Negative experience: I asked to be seen because I had a lot of teeth pain and a Very Loose tooth. Told that I needed cleaning. NOTHING done to alleviate the pain or loose tooth. DIDN'T really seem to care WHY I was in pain(cursory inspection-had some puss leakage). No problem talking into future visits. Told to go home and take Advil (already doing so) and rinse with warm salt water. NO antibiotics or pain medication prescribed. NO advice on what I can do with my loose FRONT tooth. (of which I have all of presently). Pain became almost unbearable after about an hour, (considered ER) I took some AQUARIUM Amoxicillin and was pain-free just over 3 hrs. later. Instead of paying $40 to be told to do what I was already doing, I could have bought milk, lunch meat, cheese, mayo, onion, and hamburger. Hadn't eaten since the day before, so I went home with $2. Anyone reading this can send me $40, go home and take some Advil and rinse with warm salt water, and resort to extreme measures as I was forced to do, and Good Luck ! ! Receptionist wasn't the most pleasant, could have been more courteous. (Maybe I should have been better dressed). Not sure I will be a return patient. STILL have No idea what to do with the loose tooth.

Fantastic experience: I hadn’t gone to the dentist in years because I had an anwful experience at a different dentist in Wausau- but I had some tooth pain and tried Quirt. They figured out the pain was being caused by a wisdom tooth. They got me in the very next day and after numbing- it literally took them less than 30 seconds to get my tooth out. I didn’t even know it was gone because Dr. Josh was so quick and efficient. The staff is amazing and kind- and they all seem to work together extremely well. It made my dental experience a positive one after years of avoiding it.

Positive experience: I was going in very anxious as I’ve never had a good dental experience before and I was handled very well by both my hygienist and dr Josh. Not only are they helping me overcome my fear of the dentist but also helping me regain my confidence. I was taken back by basically being blindsided by the billing lady coming in before they could start demanding payment. How is that not something that could have been arranged prior to the appointment? I was stressed enough even coming and then having to deal with paying for a significant bill on the spot was not helpful in the slightest.

Fantastic experience: Awesome experience. Got an examination done fast, and got the wisdom tooth that was hurting pulled the same day!

Positive experience: The joint was jumping the day of my appointment and, although I waited an hour past my scheduled appointment, everyone was so courteous, kind, apologetic, and friendly. On top of that, the dentist and assistant technicians were incredibly skilled. It wasn't an unpleasant experience, and how often can you say that about going to the dentist?!

Fantastic experience: I am new to the area and am thankful to have found Quirt Dentistry. Not only did I need a dentist, but I needed a tooth transplant. After reading reviews and going to two other dentists for quotes on the transplant, I found Quirt to be by far rhe most reasonable that saved me thousands of dollars. Yet, I found their professionism to be top notch, lacking nothing. I'm in the process of the implant now and am very pleased how it's progressing. My wife goes here now because of my experience. I highly recommend Quirt Dental.

Fantastic experience: It is only now that I realize just how awful previous dentists (I've had) actually were. Dr Van and his assistant were both incredibly good with my root canal. I dreaded having the procedure. The last dentist (?) I went to put me in the emergency room with a very bad infection. The pain I experienced in the actual procedure by that dentist was incredibly high level. Not with Dr. Van though. Dr Van was so good at what he did (as was his assistant) that I was blown away. Seriously, if you have dentist anxiety (like me) go see him. I have never had a dentist experience like this EVER in my life. Pretty much painless. I had no idea a visit like mine could be so good. Also, I tried the local "painless dentistry" places and found that was not a true statement. With Dr. van I believe it is true. I had almost zero pain and even after the procedure I have none. Win/win!

Fantastic experience: Quirt is amazing! I have dental trauma from an incident that happened when I was a child so I have extreme dental anxiety. I had to have a root canal yesterday and my anxiety was unbearably high. Stacy, the assistant, and Dr. Jeff were so incredibly kind and patient. They never made me like I was a problem and they remained upbeat and encouraging the whole appointment. I felt so taken care of. I would recommend them to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I had a terrible toothache, called another dentist couldn't get in until September, called Quirt Dental was seen that same day, next day my tooth was pulled. The staff was very kind and compassionate to me. I'll be going back.

Fantastic experience: Were they available, I would award 10 stars! I was met in the waiting room by Hillary, the X-ray tech, who I learned shortly was the Dental Hygenist, and also the point of contact/liason with Dr. Leesa Ching, DDS for the patient. Hillary was courteous and listened very carefully when I inquired, answering each of my questions professionally and thoroughly. As she professed, she did not have a "heavy hand" completing my cleaning efficiently and without discomfort. Very knowledgeable, Hillary was able to brief Dr. Leesa concisely regarding not only the X-rays, but also on the substance of the conversations she and I had regarding the specifics of my case. Following her briefing by Hillary, Dr. Leesa thoroughly examined my teeth, making observations and suggestions. We discussed a potential problem I had erroneously perceived to exist, and she made me comfortable in the knowledge that she understood my concern. I was very pleased with Dr. Leesa's explanation. It's hard to imagine that I would say this, but I look forward to my next visit to Quirt Family Dentistry. They just can't get any better!

Fantastic experience: I was not a patient yet. I had an appointment set up about three weeks prior I called with an emergency appointment. I was in severe pain and discomfort. Quirt Family Dentistry got me in the very next day! They were very attentive and well-mannered. They helped me with a discount. I appreciated that they listened without judgment. They made me feel comfortable in their care! In almost 30 years. I can honestly say I have never been in better hands when it came to my dental needs. I appreciate the genuineness. It is something that is lacking in today's society but NOT AT QUIRT FAMILY! THANK YOU GUYS AGAIN!!!!

Negative experience: Second time I scheduled an appointment for teeth cleaning and so far I haven’t had ONE tooth cleaned. Both times excuses were made for one thing or another that the cleaning couldn’t be done at this time. Very disappointing

Negative experience: Called about an emergency, was told “if you aren’t a patient, good luck”. I asked if there were any other recommendations in the area and was told “no, good luck” and they hung up.

Fantastic experience: From the first time I called til the time of my appointment I was delighted with the friendly professional service. Their equipment is very modern and up to date. I felt that I was in good hands. I will be back, even though it's an hour long drive. Thank you Dr Josh and this assistant (sorry I can't remember her name).

Fantastic experience: When I had a broken tooth, Quirt saw me a day or two afterwards when everywhere else was booked out for a month or more. I have gone here for several months now and everyone has been very nice, helpful, and my teeth are doing much better! Dr. Josh does a great job!

Fantastic experience: So far the WAUSAU Quirt Family Dentistry has been a huge improvement from my last dental office. My appointments have started on time , the receptionists always answer the phone, follow up appointments are scheduled in a timely manner, and the hygienists seem to know what they are doing. They were able to get me in for an emergency crown. The process was quick and relatively painless, no problems with the temporary and they even called as soon as the permanent came in, sooner than my scheduled appointment. I only wish I would have switched sooner!!

Negative experience: Scheduled an appointment in August, appointment was set for October, they cancelled my appointment and rescheduled it for new years eve. I couldn't get off work that day so they rescheduled again for March, morning of the appointment they called to let me know the appointment had been cancelled and they hadn't even bothered to reschedule. Ended up having to extract my own tooth with a pair of pliers which was the most painful thing I ever experienced. This is one of the most worthless establishments I have ever had to deal with.

Fantastic experience: Shout out to Dr. Van and team at Quirt Family Dentistry for getting my son in and doing an emergency tooth extraction done. The front desk receptionist thank you for explaining and helping with the dental plan with saved me $$$ The whole staff was very aware and Considerate with Jason's needs and anxiety. Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Sykes and the team at Quirt Family Dentistry. They got me in on short notice when I was in excruciating tooth pain—on a scale of 1 to 10, I’d put it at 140! Dr. Sykes was incredibly kind, professional, and thorough, and within just two days, my pain was completely gone. I’m beyond thankful for the exceptional care I received. If you’re looking for a dentist who truly cares and delivers results, look no further than Dr. Sykes. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: Went in with a broken tooth and all they did was xray it, take a picture of it, then look at it. All just to tell me that they can schedule me an appointment to fix it at a later date. And they options they gave me ranged from $400 to pull it up to $1900 to rebuild it and put a crown on it because there is basically no way to qualify for their care credit. So beware if you don't have dental insurance.

Fantastic experience: Quirt save my sanity. After months of trying to get into my old dentist and taking the only available appointment months and months away I was left so desperate I felt like I had lost my mind. I had be to the er so many times with the infection in my tooth getting worse or the pain so bad. I called my dentist and they did little for pain. They offered a week sooner appointment then the original but to have the tooth pulled and not a root canal as planned. Dr. Leesa got me in same day and started working on my tooth. It was infected and cracked from waiting so long. We started the root canal but realized that we needed more time and something else to help with the pain. This time a steroid. This helped the pain so much. That weekend I could actually sleep! On Monday we started the root canal again and I felt little to nothing. I did get gas for my anxiety about the situation but Dr.Leesa was truly amazing. Listened, cared and comforted in a time I could not function well as a human. Everyone their from the front desk beyond are all hero’s. Kind hard working. You never find someone sitting too long, they are on the go and trying to make sure Wausau area keeps smiling. If you have dental anxiety this is the right play you !

Fantastic experience: This place is the BEST hands down. Someone with so much anxiety about getting dental work done they help keep me calm & talk me through everything from procedures to billing.

Fantastic experience: Was not a good experience- first thing I have had a credit for over a year - should have received it either by check to me or my insurance should have been refunded; secondly the staff was not helpful or upfront about the length of time to complete the process- should never take almost 3 months from start of a crown to finishing it. I will not be returning or recommending Quirt dental to anyone

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend this dental office! The team was incredibly kind and worked around my busy schedule to find the best appointment time. They also went above and beyond to get me the most affordable quote after applying my insurance. Excellent service and genuinely caring staff!

Fantastic experience: I am working towards a bridging crown and have had problems in the past keeping a temporary crown in place. With this they actually created a bridging temp. 4 days in and it is still on. Better then last crown. They have gone above and beyond to keep me comfortable while working in my mouth.

Fantastic experience: I chipped my molar during lunch and was able to book an appointment at this location in the evening! I’m so grateful for the fast turn around since my primary dentistry was booked out for three weeks!!! I couldn’t wait that long. During my appointment, they walked me through what chipped and how it looked like, and next steps to get a crown in place. They also coincidentally had an opening the following day for me to get a temporary crown in! I was so pleased with this news and happy how fast things were moving! During the walkthrough of the cost, the sweet ladies at the front desk even went out of their way to confirm with my insurance to see how much they would cover my cost. My whole experience from the phone call, to checking in, getting assessed by the dental hygienist and getting full thorough explanation from the dentist was phenomenal. Everyone here is so friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. You are at good hands at this dentistry!

Positive experience: I was so grateful that they could get me in right away. I was in so much pain at the time I couldn’t hardly think. The only thing I wished they would have done differently was to talk to me about what work needed to be completed and how I would like to proceed with future visits after I was no longer in pain. I now have a lot of different questions because I can focus on something other then the pain I was in.
