Fantastic experience: My first experience with them was a marathon session of emergency work and I'm so glad I found them in time! I was impressed by their thoroughness and their consideration of the patient's comfort meant a great deal. I recommended someone to them later that afternoon as the anesthetic was wearing off. Doctor Mauven and the staff are worth a look if you are searching for your new dentist. Good people and good caregivers.

Fantastic experience: I moved to Austin in January of this year and was looking for a dentist nearby that could do my yearly cleaning. Since going to Enamel Dentistry, I've been incredibly impressed with how detailed they clean my teeth and explaining any issues that I had. I even had my wisdom teeth removed here and they did it so fast and I had a great recovery. Would definitely recommend this dental clinic if you're looking for a reliable, thorough, and caring place to get your teeth taken care of.

Negative experience: l've visited this location a few times in the past & had ok experiences: very informative, nice clean offices. Unfortunately, yesterday I did not have a good experience. I traveled an hour to come to this dentist for more x-rays and to see if I could get an earlier appointment than what I already have at a different dentist. They took over an hour to do the X-rays and exams, gave me a $4000+ estimate, just for me to call to schedule & their new dentist refusing to allow me to set an appointment. She claimed there was another issue that she recommends for me to take care of first but this is simply her opinion. When I asked if this was a recommendation or requirement, she could not give me an answer. I had to ask 4 or 5 times for her to finally say she would not complete the work. She even suggested that I get a second opinion when they were the second opinion! No other dentist has shared any of these concerns, even at the same exact office she works in. They wasted my time and I also wasted a visit that will go towards my insurance.

Negative experience: If you like being lied to this is the place for you. Please scroll down read other reviews you will see what i say is true. I will never recommend this place to anyone. I called on friday to sechule emergency service with possible tooth extraction. Set the service up for Monday. Showed up. An noticed they were doing alot of extra scans so I asked what going on.she explained. I said I was here for an emergency service an possibly getting a tooth extracted. Come to find out they sechuled something different an when they corrected the issue they then turn around an say they can't do anything today an earliest they can do anything would be another 7 days out. This place is a scam dentistry.. They will tell you anything to get you in the office so they can bill your insurance. So someone like me in my situation will now have to pay out of pocket for more x rays an the vist because of there insurance scam. As all other dentist I called want there own x rays. .. please be aware.. this place is trash. I did get upset in there an was irritated an they lady instead of trying to figure out how to fix the situation just said I can see your upset so I am just going to leave. Wow great customer service. After she walked off like that . That's when I got loud an told them how they lied to me an screwed me with insurance. Had that unprofessional lady not of walked off I would not of gotten loud. I don't like to leave reviews so tend to not do it but these people are scamming insurance company's.. an yes I will be calling the local ADA an filling a complaint with the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners as I will also be filling a fraud complaint with the state an my insurance company. They are still welcome to call me to fix this situation.

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough great things about this dental office! From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcomed and at ease. The front desk was friendly and efficient, and I never felt rushed or like “just another patient.” The dentist took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of my questions, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire visit. I really appreciated their gentle approach during the cleaning and treatment—honestly, it was the most relaxed I’ve ever felt in a dental chair!

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience from the very beginning of scheduling an appointment, till the very last of my anesthesia wearing out. I felt well taken care of by three people including Dr. Chau who performed four fillings on me that day. No hidden fees, the payment was discussed before any procedure was done. Me and my wife both went there back to back and both are happy with our choice.

Negative experience: Called ahead of time and they said they were in network with my insurance. So I proceeded to schedule my appointment, my out of pocket cost was over 600$. I found that super odd considering I had insurance, but I trusted them so I payed it. Surely come to find out they were out of network with my insurance company, so I got a second bill after that. They also billed for the wrong provider too. I called/texted them so many times and it took so long to get it all situated. But to add insult to injury I had a complication from the filling they had, and could not go back to them since they did not accept my insurance and lied to me. Do not recommend.

Fantastic experience: The staff was efficient and got me in right away. The doctor was very careful to make sure I understood everything and graciously answered all of my questions. And the hygienist was quick and gentle.

Negative experience: Don't waste your money with Enamel on Parmer. My husband and I spent thousands there and are having to have fillings, crowns and root canals all re-done at a different, far better dentist. They were always unprofessional with us and everything hurt. They sent over x-rays of SOMEONE ELSE'S MOUTH instead of mine, to my new dentist... like really, they're that unprofessional. The assistant who put my crown in dropped in my throat three times before getting it placed and it popped out a year later, and now I need it re-done because there's a pocket that food gets in. My husband had an infection that went untreated for years because they kept saying it was fine. And the hygienist just used us as a captive audience to talk about her love life. Truly a weird place that was basically a money pit for us for years. Save your time and go to River Place Dental or somewhere else with better reviews than Enamel.

Positive experience: Overall nice people and good facility, but I've had several frustrating experiences where I've scheduled appointments for the specific purpose of having something urgently fixed (i.e. a filling that came out) and instead of fixing it during that appointment (again, urgent) they make me come in just so they can look at it (yep, there's a hole in your tooth) and come back another day. It's frustrating to have to take that additional time off work, when I do not have that kind of time. If it were clearly articulated that the appointment I made was just a consultation, then I would understand. But I specifically asked to have it fixed on the one day that worked with my schedule, and it's frustrating to not get it taken care of.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to this office for +2 years now, and I don’t intend on stopping anytime soon. Everyone working here is so friendly. I’ve seen Dr. Chau multiple times, and she always listens to my concerns and offers treatment options for them, whether it be for my wisdom teeth removal, a masseter botox referral, or permanent retainer removal (which happened the same day!). The office itself also feels very modern, with TVs on the ceiling or digital impressions for retainers, it makes me feel like care and comfort are definitely a high priority to them.

I worked with three women, the first woman took my X-rays (I didn’t catch her name and don’t know her official title) but she was super sweet, patient and was my first impression of the dental office. She made me feel very comfortable. Next, was the dentist, Jennifer Chau- she was very understanding and accommodating. Her bedside manner reassured me that I’d be back. And lastly, the hygienist, whose name I didn’t get…. She rocked! My mouth feels brand new, she was beyond knowledgeable and her willingness to be an open book, put me right at ease. Ive never said this before…. But I’m kinda looking forward to going back.

Negative experience: I did not have a good experience here. I was skeptical on having a crown put on a particular tooth, I had three total. Sure enough my insurance later said the crown was not necessary. I had to pay for it out of pocket. Their response was “well our dentist thought you needed it so you’ll just have to pay for it.” I’d get a second opinion if your skeptical or insurance approval first. Lesson learned I canceled my future appointment. Also, the dental hygienist is annoying. She talked non stop. I heard all about her personal bankruptcy, her drunk friends inappropriate behavior and other things a patient shouldn’t have to hear about. Your kind of held captive when your teeth are being cleaned.

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit. Dr. Chau listened, explained, allowed and answered questions. The type of professionalism you want from a doctor.

Positive experience: Actual dental treatment work is excellent. Unfortunately there was time/planning chaos from office admin and I ended up waiting 25+ min past my appointment start time, plus a decent wait for the Dr. in the middle of my appointment. Sounded like clerical/notification error between front desk and the back staff, even though I checked with the desk at ~18min. Oh well, just frustrating when you're taking time off work for scheduled appointment and you're on time for it.

Negative experience: My son had an appt for wisdom teeth removal. He needs a ride home after, but they have a policy where the ride home needs to stay in the waiting room the whole time. They were unwilling or unable to turn the lobby music down. This antiquated policy is unnecessary in 2025 and made the experience terrible.

Fantastic experience: I love coming here for my dental needs! Dr Jen is always caring and knowledgeable about my dental health. The staff members are welcoming and friendly and the office is always clean and has great music playing!

Negative experience: They're great for smaller stuff like checkups, cleaning and cavities, but I would not recommend them for more complex oral procedures like wisdom teeth removal. Why? Because they don't even do these themselves. They contract it out to a certain Dr. Cohl Brazil who apparently does these procedures for several dental clinics who don't do such procedures inhouse. We were not told of this beforehand, and found this out just a few minutes before my wife's procedure when they asked us to sign a new set of consent forms. All this isn't the ideal experience but it isn't terrible either. But there's more - the doctor knew my wife was breastfeeding and still prescribed her Tramadol as the primary painkiller despite it being widely known it is not recommended for breastfed babies. I'm glad the pharmacist warned me when I was picking up the medicine. Either way I would avoid Enamel for anything more complex than a cavity filling.

Positive experience: Neat place. My wife had been doing annual cleaning but the office insisted they could only do deep cleaning on her which is another $128 out of pocket. They did only the X- ray. My 3 year was uncooperative with X-ray and cleaning was barely performed. The only visible thing done is fluoride application. My daughter was charged fully. We're not going there next year. I visited on August 24 and no doubt the place was very neat. However, a lot needed to be done on patients education. I was required $12 copay. I asked why since my insurance is 100% covered. Being inquisitive and demanding reasonable answers, ot became apparent that was rather extra overhead costs to defray costs associated with meeting CDC's guidelines to stay open due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Need to strive on improving patients education to better explain the extra charges rather than calling it copay. This will ensure transparency and build trust. I love the hygienic l worked with this time. Yesterday February 13, l revisited Enamel Dentistry Parmer. Positive experience from beginning to end. Improved patient education and patient centric approach to Ghana. Fully satisfied and will recommend. I have tried peak dental and worse is Castle Dental. Never again. I highly recommend Enamel

The dentist and her staff take the time to answer my questions and make sure I understand my treatment plan. I am happy with the quality of their work.

She took her time to understand my issue with tooth sensitivity and how we will treat it going forward. The whole office has the nicest people and it was just a great experience overall. Had a cleaning here and they take their time to show you your X-rays and imaging on a tv right in front of you which I’ve never had a dentist do before but I found very helpful.

Fantastic experience: Other than a slight hiccup with the paperwork and the iPad locking up 3 times, everything else went great. Dr Chao is very pleasant and professional as well. The office and equipment is all like new and well kept. The TVs and other touches add to the overall experience. No hard upsell just pertinent information. Edit: This review was from first visit 6 months ago. Second visit with COVID operations in place went very smoothly. Will continue to use this Dentist for the foreseeable future. Update: Still using Dr Chao 1/2/2025.

Fantastic experience: My mom has had severe dental issues since she was a child. She didn’t go to the dentist, she had to have a lot of crowns. Dr. Chau replaced the missing crown three times for free. My mom loves the coffee and snacks there and everyone is so helpful. I can’t wait for my next cleaning.

Fantastic experience: Dr Chau is very kind and attentive to detail. She really cares about her patients. Came here for Invisalign and annual cleanings as a recommendation in network. Did all of my dental work here - wisdom teeth removal, fillings, etc. Haven’t had a bad experience. Staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Negative experience: So unprofessional! Called me 5 minutes before my appointment when i was already there to let me know they did not take my dental insurance, even though they said they did accept it at the time i booked the appointment with them! They did not even want to give me an excuse letter for my daughter being late for school and me missing work when they were at fault for giving wrong information. I've seen other reviews where people say they always want to charge more for services so i wonder if they said that they did take my dental insurance just to get me to book with them and thought i would just pay out of pocket when they would tell me they dont take my insurance. Do not recommend this place!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Chau and the rest of the staff are very friendly and approachable. I’m very happy with the quality of care I’m receiving at this location. I like that they try to make you as comfortable as possible. It’s a very different experience from what I grew up with. Going to the dentist doesn’t have to be scary.

Fantastic experience: Great experiences every time I come in. I’ve come in for regular check ins and dental crown process for dental implant. Always very nice and welcoming, informative, and patient.

Fantastic experience: An AMAZING experience. Dr. Chau is simply awesome and the staff is welcoming, helpful, and friendly. I went in to get a couple of crowns and had never had any major dental procedures, so I was a bit nervous. Dr. Chau made the process easy and painless! Anyone that has a fear of the dentist needs to come here, because that fear will be gone afterwards!

Fantastic experience: If you’re looking for main character energy, in a good way, this is the place for you! I’m always greeted with a friendly staff and feel taken care of the whole way through. This place was recommended to me by a friend, and now I’m recommending to you! My actual teeth concerns have always been heard/met, and I don’t feel like I’m treated like a machine. I did Invisalign through enamel dentistry as well and have never been happier with my shiny teeth and me!
