Fantastic experience: It’s been almost a year since I switched to this new dental office. My first impression was that it’s modern, energetic, and equipped with advanced technology—though perhaps a bit on the pricey side. Today was my third teeth cleaning in the year, as I’ve come to realize that maintaining clean and healthy teeth becomes even more important with age. My hygienist today was Ms. Minoo, the best dental hygienist I’ve ever met. She is not only highly skilled and precise in her work but also communicates warmly and cares deeply about the patient’s comfort. I never thought a dental cleaning could actually feel like an enjoyable experience.

Fantastic experience: I had my first visit with Vitality Dental today. I must say that Dr. Kung and his staff are amazing. I went in seeking pricing on dental implants. They took the time to explain everything that was required, the entire process, time line and pricing. My experience was nothing short of awesome! Very friendly doctors and staff and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. I am scheduled to have the implants so I’ll let it be known how that goes. But so far I would recommend Vitality Dental to anyone needing a great dentist! PART TWO: I had the full upper dental implant surgery on Tuesday. It went better than I expected it to. Painless and stress free. Dr Kung and the surgical team, (Charlie and Nasha), were awesome and continually checked to make sure I was comfortable and not experiencing any discomfort or pain. Very happy with results and am virtually pain free three days later. I can’t say enough good things about my experience. Highly recommend Vitality Dental to all.

Fantastic experience: As close to a perfect experience as I have ever had in any dental office!! I had been in Plano a day, extremely stressed as my husband had been shifted from Dallas for treatment at the Medicity burn center in extreme conditions. I was hurriedly stress eating without realizing I broke a tooth. I was in a lot of pain. New city, new state and to make matters worse diverted stressed mind. I asked my daughter to find me an emergency dentist near the hospital. She sent over Dr. Gino and the Vitality clinic's info. I called them in the morning after a hungry painfull and miserable night. The front desk staff was very kind to fit me in a time slot that worked for all of us, my husband's doctors, my pain and their hectic Friday schedule. From the moment I entered the relaxed, calm, efficient atmosphere at the front office to Charlie’s affable nature, to Dr.Gino's capable treatment made me feel at ease and cared for. The tooth was broken but the roots were extra long and strong. To make it hard, I have high sensitivity and low threshold of pain. They knew exactly what to do that reduced the entire procedure to an almost pain free experience. I did feel that I had imposed upon them and made them stay after thier Friday closing time. But their skilfull determination was evident in thier diligence to see the extraction through. Even though I frustratedly felt giving up on it twice in the middle of the extraction. In the end the stubborn tooth was out. On anther note- they did try everything to save the tooth and only resorted to extraction as a last resort. I went in today again for them to take a look as I was in a bit of discomfort, they cleaned the tooth up and gave me some gel to apply. Apparently it was part of the healing process and possibly some food debris had lodged in. So the rain for the pain and inflammation. The treatment is still ongoing and by the time it is completed with a temporary denture etc I would probably have to drive up from Dallas. But I don't think I will mind that because of thier skillful care. All in all, if you need a great dental clinic with talented doctors and attentive assistant staff that has an organized front office that is kind enough to fit you in for Ann emergency even on a short day you can go wrong with Vitality Dental. I will add updates later as they happen.

The dentists are highly skilled and genuinely cared for by their patients. The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including X-ray machines, an oral scanner, and 3D model printers, ensuring high-quality care. During my externship, I had the opportunity to receive a cleaning service. The hygienist was patient, attentive, and encouraged me to use hand gestures to communicate any sensitivity during the procedure, making the experience comfortable and reassuring. Dr. Gino provides comprehensive diagnoses and treatment plans, emphasizing the prioritization and sequencing of necessary dental procedures. Fantastic experience: Today, I visited Vitality Dental for filling a large cavity. Dr Gino and hygienist Lois did a good job. I thought it was a small work but the operation of a single tooth took quite some time, about 40 mins, and the result was very impressive. My tongue felt almost natural right after the operation. I have been with Vitality Dental for more than three years now and pretty satisfied with their services.

Fantastic experience: This place is truly heaven-sent! My wisdom tooth (#17) was causing major issues along with severe jaw stiffness. After leaving the ER on Friday morning (8/8/25), I started calling around to see who could get me in. They referred me to Orasurg in Frisco with Dr. Momin, but I couldn’t make it that same day. I finally had my procedure today, and I can’t say enough good things about the doctor and staff here they went above and beyond for me! I’m so impressed that I’ve decided to make this my primary dental office. Highly recommend!

I had a wisdom tooth that had been killing me for 2 weeks but because of my busy work schedule I never had time to have it removed. Fantastic experience: I'll be honest, I don't write many reviews mostly because I'm not good expressing my feelings in writing. This place has been awesome with me, I had a past trauma as a child with dentist. I explained my fear and they worked with me. I had to get a tooth pulled 2 weeks ago and today I had to get some crowns. I felt vertically no pain, only discomfort here and there and they stopped, talked me through it and got it done. I would recommend this place, be up front if you have discomfort, pain or fears and they will get your through it.

I love the beautiful decorations and interior designs crafted by Dr. Kung's wife. I'm still a satisfied customer and highly recommend this place for dental care! Update 5/15/25: Visiting this dental office feels like coming home! I'm amazed by their cutting-edge equipment. Today, I met a new hygienist named Yuse, who took excellent care of me. Dr. Kung remembered me and even asked about the vacation I mentioned six months ago! I'm thrilled with this place and will keep coming back for my dental care! Update 6/17/25: I returned for my dental work and had a great experience! I met a friendly hygienist named Lois Wei, who provided excellent service. Dr. Kung performed my dental work, and he remains the best!

Yuze is easily the best hygienist I've ever encountered, friendly, attentive and highly competent. Dr. Kung is clearly a tremendously knowledgeable and capable dentist, as friendly as his staff, and he took the time to really explain my dental health. She always checked in to make sure the pain was controlled/tolerable or if I needed more numbing and talked me through everything knowing I’ve had bad experiences prior. She was super thorough and I will definitely be seeing her again for more of my cleanings. Dr. Gino was also very kind, knowledgeable, thorough, and listened to every thing I was concerned about. This is the best staff. :)

Fantastic experience: I came in for an emergency removal of a wisdom tooth. Little did I know the tooth was decaying and that’s why I was in severe pain and discomfort. Dr. Kung and his staff were amazing. They handled the situation with care, walking me through all my options for comfort during the procedure. They shared each step along the way, allowed me to watch a show of my choice, placed vaseline on my lips so they weren’t chapped, and completed the extraction in 10 minutes. As someone going in nervous this was a 10/10 experience and I would 100% recommend anyone to them. Their clinic is also very clean, modern, and well kept!

Fantastic experience: After many years and searches for the best dentist, I feel like I strike gold! I’ve waited to have 3 visits before posting this review, just so I can be sure this place is really that good. It’s not good.. it’s amazing! Starting with their flawless office that is ran by the one and only, Sarah. Sarah is the office manager any business owner can only dream of… Her professionalism and fantastic customer service are impeccable! Super clean office, easy scheduling, reminders, sending an invoice with breakdown the moment you paid, everything is super easy! Continuing to the wonderful teeth cleaning I received from Minoo, who was so gentle, professional and caring! And I saved the best for last… Dr Kung is THE best dentist I ever had (and I had plenty). I can’t even describe his level of care and professionalism. I appreciated his honesty that saved me thousands of dollars on unnecessary treatments that were recommended by my previous dentists. I trust him and he is my only dentist forever! He is SO gentle that for the first time in my life, I had 3 cavity fillings with no anesthesia (don’t try this at home ) and it was smooth and less painful than what other dentists do WITH anesthesia . Dr Kung is a perfectionist and anyone that cares about their teeth must give him a chance. He uses the newest technology and you’ll feel like you’re in the best hands possible with him. Trust me, from personal experience, you’ll never look back after visiting Vitality Dental!

Fantastic experience: One of the big reasons I go here is that Aria is such a great dental hygenist. At most dental offices the hygienist is just doing work, and only briefly do you get the dentist to help with the knowledge. Aria is deeply involved in my teeth success, and helps with strategy, teaching and explaining what's happening. Of course Dr Kung is also excellent. Having this full team for my teeth is huge Also had some great additional Curadent work done with Vivian - lots of attention to detail to cover all spots - and fillings with Andrew and Dr Gino

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a patient at Vitality for a few years now, and I recently got veneers. The experience was fantastic! Vivian, the dental assistant, was incredibly helpful, and Dr. Kung’s attention to detail made the entire process truly exceptional and the results were fantastic!

Negative experience: Communication is not their strong suit, apparently they think people have infinite time off from work and want to come hang out at the dentist for days on end. I have EXTREME anxiety and requested oral sedation prior to even making the appointment. I showed up, and they assigned me the dentist who doesn't do that - instead asking me to come back a 2nd & 3rd time before starting any work (or more? not sure. Because I cancelled). Then my husband desperately needed a crown, and they NEVER mentioned they don't do same day crowns. So he shows up, they drill out his tooth and then start giving him directions on caring for a temporary crown. To which my husband responded "temporary???". That is not proper protocol for informed consent. Absolutely avoid going here if you need quick work or expect clear communication.

Fantastic experience: Aria is a very talented and pleasant dental technician. She did a great job on my teeth and provided additional options appropriate for me.

Positive experience: Vitality Dental has a solid, knowledgeable, and amazing team! The staff are all friendly, and they do their utmost best to make sure that you get the right treatment needed. They walk you through treatment plans, and they will take their time in answering all questions you have. I like how they respect the decisions you make about treatment. Dr. Kung also respected my curiosity to see the treatment happen live, even though it took more time to switch tasks to do that. I've had both Dr. Kung and Dr. Silvestre as my dentist, and you can't go wrong with either. The hygienists are thorough, and they make you feel at ease. Aria, Thao, and most recently Anna have all done fantastic! The front desk staff are all so welcoming as well. The only downside is dealing with the back-and-forth of insurance. There has been multiple occasions when I was charged a little more than needed, so I have to closely look at my insurance claims to ask for a refund. It would be amazing if there was an automated way to flag the discrepancies. If you're under-quoted, they alert you to pay the difference, but if you're over-quoted, they won't proactively tell you that they owe you.

Fantastic experience: I have been to many dentist offices, but this is really outstanding. Everyone is nice and professional. Had transparent and realistic communication on what options that I can have, so that my teeth can be taken care of in the optimized way. And the equipments are new and modern. For the first, I felt like I stepped into a modern age.
