Fantastic experience: I am a heavy teeth grinder and have had a night guard since 2017 after experiencing a flare up of my TMJ. As i have aged, my teeth have shifted, and even with my nightguard, the grinding has gotten so bad that it had started chipping off some of the enamel toward the gum line on my front two teeth and a few others as well. With the loss of enamel I was experiencing some staining and sensitivity to cold air and foods as well. I came in on 9/11/2025 and they gave me a fill in on my front teeth and one other on my top row. Dr. Baker walked me through the process step-by-step, and even showed me the tools he was using during my procedure. The color match was perfect! The process was painless. I am actually excited to smile again! He and his staff were very pleasant, friendly, knowledgeable, and informative throughout my entire visit. I am so glad I found them! You can't go wrong with choosing Valley Smiles for all your dental needs. I am one satisfied customer!!

As long as Dr. Deatherage is practicing, I will never go anywhere else. I just wanted to hug him. He is that good. I have been needing a good dentist for years with no luck. I can not say enough good about this practice.

Positive experience: I’m still loving this place. The hygienists are superb and friendly. The dentists, on the other hand, lack bedside manner. The last two I have seen never even spoke to me, as a matter of fact, I never saw their faces. They asked the hygienist questions and went straight to my mouth without even a ‘Hello’. I get they might be busy, however I am a person and I am paying for their expertise. It would be great if they worked on that.

Negative experience: I go to get a chipped tooth fixed and it was not fixed but made worse. They did refund me out of pocket expense which was $101 and then turned around and billed me $70! This was after telling me they would refund out of pocket expense and also what was billed on my insurance! So now on top of my tooth being worse and having to find another dentist, I get billed! Would not recommend!

Fantastic experience: Friendly staff, clean facility with up to date equipment. Hygienist took time to make sure things were done correctly and the Dentist backed up everything was good. Teeth are clean and I feel confident they will be in good shape over the next six months. Six months gone and I’m back it’s just as pleasant as before, they even have some new high tech 3D scanning systems. No problems with the teeth so hopefully it will be the same six months from now.

Fantastic experience: They have the best staff…. Hands down. Going to the dentist is never a “woot woot” moment, but the staff makes sure you’re treated with kindness and a smile. Dr. Deathridge is my dentist. I know he always has my best interest at heart when working with my cavity-prone teeth. He will be my dentist til the day l die!

I was not an established patient but they took me right in when other dentists and dental surgeons wanted 2 weeks for a consult and 4 weeks till surgery/extraction. Dr Baker is so calm, friendly, informative, and caring that he immediately earns the moniker of just "Doc". That is high praise from a patient to a Medical/Dental professional. It is symbolic of how quickly he earns your confidence, trust and respect. Now, he once lived way North of the Mason Dixon but he already has the heart of a true Southerner. Thanks for movin' here Doc.

I was able to get one in two days. When I was taken back for an ex ray Dr. Horton said the tooth could not be saved asked me if I wanted extracted? I said yes and they did it really fast. Everyone was professional and very nice. So appreciated thank you all. I Highly recommend Dr. Horton and his staff at Valley Smiles.
