Negative experience: I’m just being nice They really do not deserve not one star first of all when you first go there they’re very extremely nice before they start to add in their little hidden fees. I came In to Have an exam on my teeth, the dental hygienist there told me I had Gingivitis and recession in gums and was needing a deep cleaning and deep scale of the teeth and also told me that I would need and she recommended personally a laser to my gums. With all that said, I was more than willing to get the procedure done, but I do have pretty good insurance so I asked them to run my insurance also which she agreed that she would but she did state to me that my insurance wouldn’t probably cover it, but I told her that was fine. I just wanted her to run it to my insurance just to see How come I Paid $800 on the procedure and they only billed my insurance $180 twice. Where does that make sense? Then when you contact them to explain how that does not make sense and that is not what you agreed on and then how come the insurance was billed a different price from what you billed then they tell you that the laser wasn’t included in the price make it make sense and with this said I do need teeth work done so I never had a chance to see the actual dentist to do any work on my teeth. I decided to go to another dentist office, which they told me that I never had a deep cleaning done and that to do all the procedures that they said they did they would have to numb my mouth and flipped my gums back, which don’t make sense. I’ve Corresponded with other dental hygienist and they said that’s illegal and that they’re known to do that at this company so my question is how are they still in business doing this to people and how long have they been getting away with it? I’m new to East Texas so I’m not from around here but I’m actually shocked that I see a dental office doing business like this and there receptionist at the front are very rude and competitive and don’t listen. They need to definitely do better.

Negative experience: You deserve no stars. Let me start from the beginning. You called me at work to ask about insurance. When I got there you recommended X-rays, when I really just wanted to get my tooth fixed. Then the X-rays gagged me at least three times, and all I wanted was to my tooth fixed. After that further proceedings would have been fine. I had a cap put on in the 80’s and it had recently fallen off. There was nothing wrong with the tooth I came in for, it just needed a cap replacement.

Fantastic experience: Christina did an excellent job cleaning my teeth. She was very professional and informative about good dental care for my teeth cleaning and was very up to date on the latest dental products.

Negative experience: If I could leave 0 stars I would. I was lured into Smile Studio under the false pretenses of a 140 dollar new patient exam including Xrays an exam by the dentist and a cleaning 2 of which I never recieved I completed the Xrays and eval by the hygienist and was told that they would not be able to do my cleaning because they wanted to do additional cleaning with lasers and topical antibiotics (funny enough my bill states its topical fluoride even though I was told it would be an antibiotic) in the amount of $2000 I left sobbing and they continuously pushed care credit on me after I stated I couldn't afford it i told them I wasn't interested in care credit and they continued pushing i left and went to my regular dentist where I got the cleaning I requested for $220 and recieved the compassionate care I should have recieved from Smile Studios as if that wasn't enough that dentist that I never saw keep in mind had the AUDACITY to call my orthodontist and inform them that I don't need braces and that I have cavities which BTW my dentist didn't see any of. This place ruined my entire day and still charged me the entire price that should have included two services I did not recieve

Fantastic experience: The best experience I have ever had at a dentist. The entire staff it’s extremely nice and make you feel so comfortable. The dentist is also wonderful, very caring and very thorough. They got me right in for an appointment and then we’re able to send me over to an oral surgeon that day to have my tooth taken care of. I cannot say enough kind words about this dentistry. They are amazing And extremely caring. I’ve always been extremely anxious about seeing a dentist. When I have my next visit with them I definitely will not feel that way. I highly recommend them and am so blessed to have found them. Britni M

Negative experience: It really pisses me off that we have been going to this dentist for at least 8 years now, we love dr Waldron, but the one time I don’t answer my phone to confirm our appointments, they just cancel them!!! They have never had issues from us or vis versa, I don’t always confirm our appointments but we’ve always gone to them or called to cancel or reschedule if needed. I called back within 20min to assure them that we would be there like we always are & they had already given our appointments to someone else. Now we have to wait 2 months to get back in!!!

The only complaint is that I was not told that the X Ray would be an extra charge so was surprised when I checked out that it was an additional chg. I should have been told in advance.

Fantastic experience: i came in with an overwhelming fear of the dentist but Dr.Waldron and his team treated me, listened to me, and talked to me like the caring people they are. a few visits and panic attacks later, i am no longer afraid of the dentist and can be treated un medicated. i was very embarrassed of my teeth and to show them but i absolutely love them now and i got my smile back plus some! he and his team are some of the best people i’ve ever met. they treat you like family and they conveniently accept care credit for the ones that can’t afford to pay for their full visit at once. i got lucky when i stumbled upon Dr.Waldron’s Smile Studio!

Negative experience: Extremely disappointed with this office. Waited weeks for an appointment. Then was charged 126 to be told, what I had already told them when I made the appointment . Yet no one explained to me that they don't offer the service I needed. They seem like nice folks but this felt like a totally dishonest business practice. I was sent away in pain and my wallet a lot lighter. Awful Awful experience. Unfortunately, I can not recommend this office to anyone.

She let me know everything she was doing and went over any extra procedures my insurance wouldn’t cover. I did opt to go with a couple of things outside my coverage. So happy I found Smile Studio and Dr Waldron.

Negative experience: This place is a joke. They only want your money so they do things backwards just to charge you more. My husband is finally getting his braces off and needs a crown. They suggested we purchase the $200 trays for whitening that have to be made, come back and get the crown. NO, this is not how it works. You prove the shades, for the client to choose from, get it done. Then comes the whitening trays. We are not ignorant and will no longer be back.
