Fantastic experience: We have 3 kids that have gone to Kids World Pediatric for about 4 years and we have always felt like our kids are in great hands! Everyone has been wonderful communicators and helped us understand every step of our children’s teeth journey and development.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Torres is always so accommodating with appointments and recently took our son in urgently after a traumatic event at school. She and her staff are incredibly kind, professional, and compassionate. We’re very grateful for the excellent care and attention they always provide and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great dental team.

Fantastic experience: The staff was welcoming and my children felt comfortable. The staff explained everything they were going to do from the teeth cleaning, X-rays, and anything else that needs to be done.

Fantastic experience: My daughter had a tooth extracted because of an abscess that was starting to form in her gums, and there wasn’t really another option since we didn’t want the new tooth to get infected. The dentist explained everything clearly and gave us options before moving forward. The staff was very helpful, they scheduled us for the next day and were able to do the procedure right after the consultation. Everyone there was kind and professional, and my daughter felt comfortable during the whole process. Overall, it was a good experience and I appreciate how smoothly everything went.

Fantastic experience: This place is so friendly, it was my daughter’s first dentist appointment and the staff guided me through the process of how to help both the staff and my daughter to get the best out of our appointment. For our 1st time, we got who ever doctor was available but it ended up being perfect. Dr Self is so good with kids. Edit 2025: We are still loyal to this place. We ended up switching doctors due to problem with scheduling and ended up with Dr Torres, she has been amazing with my daughter. Dr Torres makes her smile and makes my daughter feel safe! The whole staff is amazing. We couldn’t be happier with the service provided by Kids World Pediatric Dentistry. 5 ⭐️

Fantastic experience: We have been bringing our daughter here since her first two teeth sprouted. We moved out of the area last year and we still drive an hour for her dental appointments every 6mos, or for dental emergencies, which she happened to experience last year. Everyone from the front desk to the to the dentists have wonderful personalities and work ethic. We rarely have to wait for our appointments, they honor both our time and their schedules. Also, they do not overbook so if we need to make an adjustment or see someone on short notice, they can squeeze us in as opposed to waiting weeks or months to be seen.

Fantastic experience: We have been coming to Dr. Torres for over 10 years and have never had any bad experiences. I tried going to a different dentist for its closer proximity to our house and open on Saturday. I will NEVER go anywhere else again! Going to this other dentist office made me realize all of the great qualities Dr. Torres and her team offer for my kids! The patience and kindness they give to my children is incomparable to anywhere else. Fantastic experience: Dr. Torres did so great with all 3 of my boys. Yes 3 boys all of whom are on the spectrum. I take them all in together because it's easier for me and they happily accommodate us. They are so nice and calm with my boys. They give them stickers and sing to them during the process. They give me tips and tricks to help them with the process. Ally and Carmen were amazing as well. Greeting my boys, giving them prizes and being so nice and friendly. We won't be going any where else.

Fantastic experience: I took my three year old and he loved it! Dr. Torres and her staff are amazing! Her dental assistants were so good with my three year old. Dr. Torres was singing K-pop to my son while she was doing his fillings so he wouldn’t get scared since it’s his favorite movie right now. I highly recommend taking your children here!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Torres and her staff have been such a blessing to myself and my newborn. At 4 days old my newborn needed a tongue and lip tie release so he could finally eat comfortably. I was absolutely petrified and anxious amongst other things but they all were so helpful and patient with me. They spoke to me kindly and explained in a way that I could understand and feel more comfortable. I cannot recommend this office enough for any kiddo but especially for newborns who are needing these services.

Fantastic experience: We had a great experience! We switched to this dental clinic after another dentist told me my daughter had three cavities and needed a surgical procedure. At Kids World Dentistry, they explained that the cavities were so small they were barely visible, and no procedure was necessary—just regular care to prevent them from getting worse. I ended up paying a minimal fee instead of the $1,400 the previous clinic quoted.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Torres is an incredible dentist. Her staff is amazing. Dr Torres has been my children’s dentist for over five years now and just recently she got to meet our newborn due to a tongue tie. The procedure was quick and while I was waiting the staff helped this nervous mom calm down. Negative experience: If I could leave a zero star review I would. I was scheduled to come tomorrow to the dentist office with my children. Jessica, who says she’s office management, informed me that it would be a HIPPA violation for me to sign consent forms though I have an Authorization Agreement for Adult Caregiver/ POA form from the state of Texas(SIGNED AND NOTARIZED). She said that the biological parents must be present to sign forms. I informed her that I do have guardianship and in my paperwork I am able to have the child seen for medical, dental.. you know the usual. Jessica went ahead and took it upon herself to cancel the appointments for both children. She was very unprofessional. Hanging up on me several times. I emailed the office and will be looking into elevating it higher due to her unprofessionalism.

Negative experience: Update: they have a manager that has terrible customer service, I called and asked if both the dentists where working today and they were right on schedule, he talked to me in a very bad attitude kinda making fun of me (he laughed when I asked that). I asked to talk to someone else and he said there was no one else to talk to just him and he is the manager. I used to love this dentist, we have been customers for over a decade but we are not coming back. If the owner can please reach out to me that would be great, it feels terrible not able to talk to someone else.

Fantastic experience: We have been patients at kids world for close to 5 years and have always been pleased. Recently, my daughter (4) had to have a tooth filled and the experience was flawless. As a parent this was my first time experiencing this and I was a nervous wreck but Dr. Torres and her staff explained everything to me in real time, answered all my questions and were so patient and calm with my daughter. Fantastic experience: Kids world pediatric Dentistry was amazing for my kids! Since I open the door I encounter friendly staff, they received my children on time, performed their cleaning very professionally, explained them everything making them feel comfortable. They had their X-rays taken also making the process confortable and I dare to say fun in a way. Doctor Torres saw them assessing everyone of their needs and explained everything to me in detail. I was given information that no other doctor had told me before in 11 years. She made observations and recommendations, and gave me options, saying “if they were my kids” I would do this, of course you can evaluate what you would want us to do. So when my children are cared for, and when recommendations are made in their best interest, I appreciate it. Over all amazing experience 5 out of 5 stars ⭐️ .

Fantastic experience: Great office. Very clean with lots of fun activities for my kiddo to do before he was seen. Dr. T was super kind, thorough, patient, and even sang to my toddler while he was in my lap where she did his exam and brushing. He didn’t even cry. Highly recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Torres is excellent with both my children. She is very calm and explains everything to the kids. A big plus is she is Spanish speaker. She is super professional and never makes me feel embarrassed by any questions I might ask. She is great at making you feel at ease with any procedure. The office staff as a whole is very kind and welcoming. Anytime I have called with a question they will get me an answer. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Positive experience: Our appointment was at 3:30pm, I received a phone call at 3:32pm asking how long it would be taking us to get there, her tone was not friendly. At that very same time, my husband was walking in with my daughter for the appointment and the front desk person said, “oh you know what I think they just walked in”. I admit we were 2 min late, most places have a 5-15 min grace period. This is the reason I don’t give 5 stars. This has never happened before, perhaps, it was a new staff member. Other than an impatient receptionist, all the dental hygienists and dentists have always been outstanding! Our daughter has been seeing Dr. Torres since her very 1st dental check up at 6 months old. The rest of our family (all adults) see Dr Torres’ brother right next door. Dr Torres and Dr Estrella are without a doubt, the best dentists in Stone Oak.

My son is non verbal and on the autism spectrum, they are so sweet and make sure to make sure they make him comfortable and explain everything to him. We are thankful for such a great practice and would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: We love this dentist office. Dr Torres is the best dentist I’ve ever met. She is kind and obviously knows how to deal with all sorts of children — from my high anxiety son to my feisty daughter. We moved and still make the 25 minute drive here rather than choose somewhere closer because they are just that good. Seriously. From the front staff to the hygienists I’ve never met someone who wasn’t above and beyond amazing.

Negative experience: I have been bringing my son here since he was born. He was supposed to have a cleaning in August that they had to reschedule right before and said we would have to wait until October. They said it had something to do with the insurance. October comes around and I get my confirmation text and within minutes of confirming they send me a text that they have to cancel my appointment due to insurance again because it's still processing something? After 2 months I've never recieved a phone call or anything to explain... I made an appointment at a new place and they said that when they look up our insurance everything is all good but our sons 5 years of dental history are not showing up!! She said that's strange and has no idea what this dentist office could be doing. Just want to warn others. Loved the dentist but something is weird here.

Fantastic experience: We’ve been so happy coming to KidsWorld. We saw Dr. Torres, CC, & Desiree today. They are thorough, explain things well and answer any questions or concerns about my children’s teeth. The front office is always helpful with billing questions. Everyone we’ve interacted with here over the past years has been great. Our kids say: we can watch TV while we’re in the green chair or waiting (never a long wait), the x-ray machine is cool, and we get a prize & toothbrush.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Torres is a gift from heaven y’all. I love this dentist so much. She helped my daughter who was having front teeth issues and was able to fix the issue without putting her under anesthesia. Other dentists said they had to put her under. The idea of placing my toddler under anesthesia was terrifying to me. Dr Torres was able to resolve my little ones teeth issues without anesthesia and in doing so, she removed a heavy burden off my shoulders. I am also a medical provider and I tell you I will go to no other dentist for my child. Dr Torres is the most compassionate , skilled, honest pediatric dentist you will find. You will not find a better or more knowledgeable pediatric dentist than her. Her whole staff is phenomenal. Everyone in that office from front to back are the best people in San Antonio - all conveniently located in one office! I am so very thankful for Dr Torres and her staff. God bless her and her staff. By the way, my daughter loves Dr Torres too! If the little ones are loving their dentist then that alone will tell you how special this place is.

They are always so great with my son and he loves coming here. During my son’s appointment, Casey was amazing and so sweet with my son and made him feel so comfortable. The Front and Staff were so great and made us feel welcomed, We love it here!! UPDATE: We can’t thank this office enough and especially with the help of Dr. Torres and the Staff!! My son was showing signs of speech delayed around this time when I took this picture of him, After consulting with Dr. Torres we decided to seek guidance from a speech therapist first. Once the therapist confirmed the need for the procedure, We went through the frenectomy. Since then, my son has been a chatterbox, effortlessly reciting his ABCs, and recognizing numbers with newfound clarity and confidence.

Negative experience: This place has canceled my daughter's appointment for the third time. They have wasted my time telling me they need to contact my insurance for something I really don’t understand, and they always call to cancel the appointment a week in advance. I honestly don’t understand why they do this; they only say it's a process they always have to follow. Well, they now have one less patient. Thankfully, I stopped trusting them and have switched my daughter to a new dentist.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Torres is the best dentist! We love going to see her and our youngest loves letting her brush her teeth and wear the flower sunglasses. I drive over 30 minutes just to see her and their staff! We love them!!

Fantastic experience: We have been going to Kids World Pediatric Dentistry for eight years, and we would not go anywhere else. Dr. Torres and her staff, especially Erica, are amazing. They make each child feel special and at ease, and they always listen to parents’ concerns and do everything they can to be accommodating. They have seen my younger child who has significant special needs when he has been less than cooperative, and we have made it through appointments. They have seen my older child from the time he was nine until he was 17, and they have made him feel like family. This practice is amazing!

We have been going to Kids World Pediatric Dentistry for a couple years now , and they are the best with all my kiddos and my kids get excited to go to the dentist! Her follow up appointment was amazing and the impact it had on her speech almost immediately was nothing short of shocking, not just to us as parents, but her school teachers as well!
