Fantastic experience: Very kind and thoughtful staff. Let me ask all of my silly questions and made sure i was comfortable throughout the entire process. Doctor was very knowledgeable on a specific condition i have that can severely affect dental care and i was relieved as this was the first dentist i didn't have to explain what the condition is. Definitely recommending to friends and family

Negative experience: I made a same day new patient appointment for my GF not thinking of it. When I called her to tell her about it she let me know she couldn't get out of work today and that I needed to reschedule. What the office failed to tell me and then told me they are not obligated to tell me is that if you don't make your first appointment they will never see you again. This is a pretty major policy so they absolutely should be forthcoming with it but aren't so new patients beware. If you have an emergency or what ever and can't make your first appointment you are SOL.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful experience! They are all so very kind and make you feel comfortable.

Negative experience: The only place that takes my insurance (Dr. Christopher Eline). My partner wanted to make an appointment for me for today not knowing it overlapped something else on my schedule and when he immediately called to reschedule for next week they told him to pound sand and they'd never see me again. Clearly an unethical dentist with horrible patient practices. Will be reporting them to our insurance AND that state board.

Fantastic experience: Everything went smoothly from my scheduling to my appointment and checkout. Professional and convenient. The staff worked together. Which made the process quick and stress free.

Negative experience: I called to schedule an appointment for a new patient examination. I got told that I cannot be a new patient because they’re not making any appointments for “just cleanings” which doesn’t make any sense to me. This seems very problematic suggesting that prevent preventative care is not an important part of oral health and widens the gap for access to care. Given that I would have gotten bitewing x-rays, I may have needed a filling that I don’t know about. Clearly in it for the money and not patient care!

Fantastic experience: Had an appointment this morning with Doctor Eline! Absolutely love everyone in this office. I highly recommend if you’re someone like me who has dental anxiety. I didn’t catch the hygienist’s name but she was also amazing. It was so quick but didn’t feel rushed at all.

Fantastic experience: On time, kind and concise. In and out and the information i learned put me at ease for what they could help me with. And I was seen next day after calling- as a new patient. West York Dental wouldnt see me for 6 months, until May! Thank goodness for Westside.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience. I am extremely scared when it comes to getting my teeth fixed because I’ve had so many terrible experiences and it was always extremely painful. But they were extremely professional and there was not one time I felt any pain. They talked to me thru each step of the way so I wasn’t anxious. Fantastic experience: Everyone i met during my first visit to this office were really kind and compassionate people who clearly cared about their patients! Dr. Eline explained information from a patient perspective, considering insurance coverage concerns, and he was very patient with answering my questions about treatment plans. He was really present and made sure I was clear and comfortable with the information I received. I've had bad experiences before with dentists but this was a great experience from start to finish!

Fantastic experience: I lost a filling sunday night eating candy. I've had tooth pain before due to an abscess that kept me in so much pain I couldn't even sit still. Thats what I assumed would happen again. Not on Westside Dental's watch. I called on Monday morning and i was in and out by Tuesday at 845am. Negative experience: I was denied treatment because I asked to speak to a dentist about my treatment plan before I came. They scheduled me for multiple appointments, but when I showed up, they just referred me out so I wanted to be sure that I would be seeing this time and by me being specific about my appointment. They denied my complete treatment.

Fantastic experience: Amazing staff! Went there because I needed some heavy surgery and Dr Chris helped me get that started. He also did my fillings and was will to take time because of extra anxiety when it comes to the dentist. Staff was amazing at helping getting my dentures!

Fantastic experience: I was hesitant to write a review—not for the usual reasons, but because this place feels like the best-kept secret in Pennsylvania. I’ve struggled with extreme dental anxiety and, as a result, haven’t seen a dentist regularly in my adult life due to so many negative experiences. My teeth were in rough shape. I loaded up on my anxiety meds and went to my initial appointment, expecting the worst. But it was smooth, informative, and surprisingly calm. We came up with a game plan and scheduled the next visit. Now, about a month later, I’m proud to say all of my cavities (and there were a lot) have been taken care of. Every visit was efficient, calm, and—dare I say—enjoyable? I can’t thank the team at West Side enough. This experience has truly been life-changing. If you’re on the fence and looking for a compassionate, skilled dental team, this is hands down the place you need to be. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: I chose your office because I could not find any local that accepted my insurance. I got an appointment promptly (within one week) at a convenient time. Staff was very pleasant. I did not have a long wait to see the doctor and he treated me kindly and answered my questions. The only thing I was disappointed in is that I could not make an appointment for a cleaning. I will follow up in a few months to do that. Overall I will return for treatment and recommend this office. Thank you.

Negative experience: If i could give this place a 0 star review i would they have given me a couple referrals to places to get my wisdom tooth out and when setting up the appointment the dentist needs a referral paper for the surgery and check up to be done ive called west side dental 3 times in the past month before my appointment to give them the referral papers so i can get it done and all 3 times the lady on the phone said she would use the fax number to send it and each time lied to my face and never once sent the referral now the fourth time around i have to go in and ask for one to make sure they actually do.....WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE THESE PEOPLE LIE TO U AND DONT LISTEN TO A WORD U SAY!!! THIS IS RIDICULOUS

Fantastic experience: This is my second visit at this particular office and both times have been about the best experience you can have in a dentist office. They really try to make the visit as comfortable as possible, down to foam edges on the X-rays instead of those hard plastic gag inducers! Everyone is super friendly from hygienist to Dr to reception. Highly recommend.

The staff & Dentists were very friendly & genuinely cared about you as a person & not just a number. They have payment plans also which was a big concern for me to be able to pay for all of my dental work needed. I loved my experience with West Side Dental. Negative experience: They’ve restricted me from ever scheduling an appointment with their office because I had to reschedule my first appointment. I called yesterday to schedule, had to cancel and left a voicemail in the AM today prior to my appointment timeframe, no response from their team so I called again to follow up and reschedule. This is when I learned they refuse to reschedule me because I’m “restricted”. Ridiculous.

Fantastic experience: The waiting room is nice but when you get back in your room where your teeth are getting checked they have a TV in the room that have morning TV talk shows on. I wouldn't mind seeing like Paramount on or FX on the TVs while you're getting your teeth fixed morning talk shows or just terrible shows other than that wonderful office I loved it I will definitely be back

I feel bad I can't remember the name of the dentist, a younger man with black hair, SUPER nice and gentle. I am the biggest baby when it comes to the dentist, but this place was great! In and out quicker than I expect, but were very thorough and he listened to me in a panic (lol). Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: Very friendly people. They just checked me out,didn’t try to talk me into things that I didn’t really need and didn’t spout off about things that I really didn’t need done to my mouth.

Negative experience: Unbelievably bad service. Took my three kids in for check ups. Not one single person acknowledged me or spoke to me. They took the kids back, never even told me how things went. Was it good, anything needed, nothing. Just brought them back out and walked off. Glad there are more options my insurance covers because I won't be back here again.

Fantastic experience: Great experience today. Walked in for my appointment and was greeted by the friendly receptionist. Was in the chair within five minutes of arriving. The assistant was very efficient. I was embarrassed of my teeth but the doctor was very professional and we came up with a treatment plan that will work best for my long-term dental health. Positive experience: Dentist and assistants seem great, receptionists seem a bit unorganized. They called me on the phone while I was sitting in the waiting room asking if I was coming to my appointment. Ma'm I'm here and checked in almost 15 minutes ago. ‍♀️

Negative experience: I really don’t understand why so many people like this office. It feels more like a “parody” of a dental practice rather than the real thing. Office is small and claustrophobic, the chairs don’t even have sinks to rinse, and there’s only one dentist on site. The rest are assistants who were all unprofessional. Went in to get a crown for root canal. The overall process took over a month and a half, I’m not even joking. From the initial diagnostic appointment, to the filing down of the tooth and impressions, getting fillings in between, waiting weeks for the crown itself to be made, and then finally getting it put on, just to go right back to have it adjusted because they didn’t put in on correctly. And it wasn’t even the dentist who did it. It was one of the assistants. A month and a half and five appointments just to get one crown. Ridiculous. Receptionists have absolutely no common sense. They will call you at the last second if they have any important information to pass on. And otherwise they call frequently for other less important things. So annoying… I counted a total of SEVEN voicemails on my phone from them. And they continued to call me after I already informed them I was no longer interested in being a patient there. When I asked them to please stop calling me, they became defensive. Very uncomfortable experience overall, and extremely inconvenient, and when made aware of these issues, they just don’t care. This is the last place I’d recommend going to for any kind of dental work. What a joke.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Eline was amazing with my daughter. As a former hygienist, I’m very leery about who I allow to work on my children. He is very educated and tells you exactly what needs to be done. The Dr. is direct but thorough. He got straight to the point, but still explained the procedures she needed in detail. I have sent multiple family, friends and clients to him and they all messaged me thanking me for referring him and were happy. You will not be disappointed. I high recommend.

Fantastic experience: Best experience every time I go. they treat you like a person not just a patient. I have never had to wait. If my appointment was at 9:20. They will call me back in at that time. Definitely check them out if you’re looking for a new dentist highly recommend it.

Fantastic experience: Appointment of my wife was at 9 A.M on 15 October 2024. Everyone from reception, Nurse and Dental Doctor performed their role in professional manner. All of them were polite, realistic and helpful. A well placed location, However, it will be better to have little spacious place provided finance is not a constraint

Fantastic experience: This is hands down the best dental practice I've ever been to. I never have to wait more than a few minutes to be seen, the staff is very friendly, and the Dr. Eline is a pure artist. They seriously are the greatest medical practice I've ever been to. Hands down recommended.

Negative experience: This place is uncomfortable at best. The front staff are sweet hearts, but the dentist told me that all I need is my cavities drilled but then said “I really hope I don’t have to pull all your teeth with cavities , because I had a single deep one I discovered. I knew I had a bad cavities from childhood, lack of insurance and depression, but I had started taking really good care of me teeth about 6 years back and have no tooth aches or pain, but I noticed my tooth had a hole. I went to the appointment still and I had a few cavities next to each other. They hollowed out my teeth significantly and “rebuilt” them with filler. Now my mouth hurts all the time, between my teeth is sharp and has a gap. Now I can’t drink my cold water :( They also do not perform cleanings at all.

Fantastic experience: My consult appointment was at 8 am, and I was in my car on my way home by 830. They took xrays, and were very honest about my situation. The doctor was extremely kind & answered all my questions. I was dismissed as a patient years ago due to no showing 2 appointments. At the end of the day it is a business, and I continued to recommend them for anyone in need because of how amazing they were when I was under their care. The doctor is a PRO when it comes to numbing too from my experience in the past. I love this place and im so grateful I was able to be seen here again.

Positive experience: Front desk receptionist was not very friendly when I checked in. Also, I was not able to add my children as new patients even though I am already an existing patient. Dentist and assistant are both always very kind and caring.

Negative experience: Yes when you go in they are friendly BUT BEWARE !! My daughter went in and they took an X-ray and had her come in to put filling in- nothing else ! Never cleaned her teeth or anything. They left root exposed and she was in pain so she went to another dentist...they couldn't take her because ins showed that Westside had put in the claim that they cleaned her teeth and other work . OMG HOW IS THAT. INS FRAUD. BEWARE

Fantastic experience: Very friendly and quick..for all of the patients they had .getting all pulled and replaced..he didn't try and talk me out of it..like most places..just trying to make money..have lots more to come..will repost on the final results hopefully just smile again after 20+yrs

Positive experience: First visit here and they were pretty speedy yet thorough. I didn’t go for a cleaning but wish they would have offered for a future appointment.

Negative experience: Would give zero stars if possible. I was a patient for just about 3 yrs always at my appointments early no less and if I couldn't make it for any reason the day of I would call and let them know. Well 8/15 was the third canceled appointment and since I had three cancelations in those 3yrs where I didn't give 24hr notice they just dropped me as a patient and all four of my kids whom haven't even been seen yet they had cleanings in the up coming weeks. So if you happen to have an emergency the day of your appointment dont chose Westside they will dismiss you as a patient. People cannot predict day in and day out what is going to happen in there life and it was completely unfair. I will never come back or recommend anyone to Westside. I understand they make a schedule and set time aside for each patient but again people cannot stop emergencies from happening and the fact they also don't have an answering service for there phone when they are closed so how am I suppose to cancel 24hrs in advance if pre say it was in the middle of the night something happened in my life. Its all a bunch of crap. They removed 5 patients from there practice all because of a 24hr notice.

Fantastic experience: For Professional and super patience of the Technician and Dentist in fixing my Mom denture. It was a tough one. Mom came home and is happy enjoying her good meal in a long time. Kudos to West Side Dental.

Fantastic experience: Went in today for a crown on a front tooth. Everything went great staff was super friendly and service was fast, going back in 3 weeks for permanent crown but so far very pleased with the service!
