Negative experience: Update: 2 years later never heard back Dealing with an insurance issue from my daughters visit because one of there staff told my wife multiple times that they were in network come to find out they weren't. From what I see they don't like to answer there phones we had to go over to their office to schedule an appointment or go over the insurance issues. I have been left on hold for over 45 minutes multiple times. Save yourself the trouble and don't take your kids here. When my wife brought our daughter she was kept waiting for over 2 hours just to be seen for 5 minutes. She asked if everything was okay with the insurance they told her yes. Will not be going back. I will be filing a complaint with the American dental association and the state board of dentistry. I went in there after a month the manager came in ready for an argument and said oh I told you it would take weeks when she had previously said days. Then accused me of calling the wrong number and that’s why I was left on hold. I called the number right on there main page on google which was also the number she said. She did say this billing issue looks bad on them. I went in there in may to try to get this solved it is now July 31st I haven’t heard anything from them. Her appointment was April 2nd. Stay away from this scam obviously the manager doesn’t know what’s going on.
Negative experience: The communication & professionalism is seriously lacking. A few years ago this review would’ve been the complete opposite. It’s insane what my son has had to go through just to have his tooth fixed correctly. I will say we’ve never had an issue with any of the techs that do the cleanings & xrays. However the older male dentist mislead me into thinking my son was going to get a crown, after waiting a year for the appointment he left and went to lunch allowed the tech to attempt the filling which was done horribly. 3 days later we go for his yearly cleaning and learn the appointment was never set for a crown because they don’t even do crowns on adult teeth. So now he misses another day of school to go to Lakeland to get the correct work done. It should’ve never have been this difficult to get a cracked tooth fixed correctly & then gaslighted into thinking it was just my misunderstanding.
Fantastic experience: Absolutely wonderful staff and Dr.Lopez took extra time and care to help both the boy's, I recommend this dentist with five stars!!! We will continue family care here.

Negative experience: This office is so unorganized and unprofessional. I have been in dentistry myself for 15 years and have never encountered the level of unprofessionalism and unorganization before. We initially visited their office early this year to establish my son’s care and was booked out to November and December for his filling 6 months out. I was never asked if the appointment time worked for my schedule they just handed me the appointments. They also didn’t willingly go over my treatment plan I had to request it. On the day of his first filling appointment my husband arrived early and no one was there and he was waiting 30 minutes after their “Open” time before someone arrived to open the door for all of their patients including us. Since that appointment I have called many times and often times they answer the phone then hang up on you. I can’t believe a Dental office operates like this.

Negative experience: My experience at this office was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. The front desk manager told me she would meet with me in the morning to discuss a possible credit for a mandatory check-up. That check-up lasted barely three minutes and cost $87.50, only for them to schedule a tooth removal the very next day for $217.50, plus an additional $90 for laughing gas. When I tried to address these concerns, the manager refused to come out of her office and speak to me directly. Instead, she had her front desk staff relay every message for her, which was completely unacceptable. This lack of transparency, accountability, and basic professionalism is alarming. Customers deserve honesty and direct communication, not avoidance and inflated charges. I would strongly caution others to think twice before coming here until they improve their customer service and integrity.

Negative experience: I DO NOT recommend this place and honestly don’t understand where the 5-star reviews come from. I told the assistant this was our first visit and that I wanted to establish care for my child. I also mentioned a few concerns I wanted the doctor to check, but no one followed up, I had to take the initiative to speak because no one asked us anything. They did a “cleaning” and x-rays, and when the doctor came in, he looked at my daughter’s teeth but never said a word to either of us. He just spoke to the assistant, then left. Later, the assistant returned with the treatment plan, but my concerns were never addressed. The whole experience felt cold and robotic, not welcoming at all. Although the assistant was nice, she barely touched my daughter’s teeth when applying the fluoride, it didn’t feel like cleaning at all. The whole experience felt very cold and robotic, not welcoming or personal in any way. When I asked for a summary of the visit to include the recommended treatment, the assistant sent me to the front desk. The front desk lady that checks you out was very hostile and acted as if I was asking for something unreasonable. They had me sign a release form, promising the report in 48 hours. It’s been a week, I’ve called twice and still haven’t received anything. The office also didn’t look clean, the floors and walls were dirty. For a pediatric office, I expected a more clean, caring and friendly environment.

Negative experience: We havent even seen the dentist yet. Our appointment was 40 minutes ago. We will not be back here. No respect for time. Child cannot eat before treatment, she is starving and has to wait an extra 40 minutes. No respect for this office as they have no respect for the patients.

Negative experience: I brought my daughter here for an extraction because she was in pain. Nothing was done, and we were just sent to a specialist for a simple baby tooth. I missed work and my daughter left still hurting. On top of that, they gave me a sedation criteria paper that described my daughter as difficult and uncooperative — which is not true at all. She behaved very well the entire time. This was frustrating and felt dishonest. I wish the office had been upfront from the beginning about what they could and could not do, instead of wasting our time and misrepresenting my child.

Negative experience: The tech put the tools in my child’s mouth without the plastic covering and then continued with an oops… knocked the chair continuously hiting her mouth on the continuous devises being used. She was super upset and literally asked can she just see my adult dentist from now on.

Fantastic experience: This place is awesome. Called for an appointment for the first time and got one really fast. The workers are really sweet and handled the children with care. The only thing I don’t like is the follow-up appointments are to far apart for work to be done. But on the other hand if you you call or text after a certain time if they are cancellation they can get u in. Over all it a really pleasant place for my kids.

Negative experience: Absolutely horrible. My kids appointment has been cancelled 3 times when I have clearly told the appointment setter to confirm my appointment. To have kids walk around in pain is absolutely insane and take no responsibility for your mishaps is unbelievable. If you go here make sure to confirm appointments and even if you do look forward to being cancelled on multiple times.

Fantastic experience: My boys have already been receiving great dental care here, so I decided to bring my 1 year old for her first dental appointment. They were very gentle, willing to hear any concerns, and gave me feedback on how maintain good dental hygiene for my daughter. Very minimal tears from my daughter as she normally freaks out anywhere that looks like a doctor’s office. Overall very positive experience!

Negative experience: My daughter was schedule at 220pm she checked in early and they bumped her appointment down to 340 without notice having wait while they called everyone else! 2 hrs later and horrible response from front desk! I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS OFFICE

Fantastic experience: My son went in to get his treatment for his cavity and the dentist and his assistant took really good care of him. The staff at the office are very nice!

Fantastic experience: They did an awesome job. My appointment was at 3 and I was Out by 3:22. My son’s cleaning was great, the dentist checked him and he said everything was wonderful. I love that the wait wasn’t very long.
Negative experience: Worst place to take your children. Completely unorganized and always 45min plus late for appointments.they also force a 1 adult policy but accept 5 children to 1 adult. Makes no sense. Seems they like to push single parenthood instead of family. Also there is no such policy written or stated anywhere for 1 adult per a child and main office has confirmed there is no such policy.

Fantastic experience: This was the first time I took my 4 boys here for cleanings and cavity checks and this was by far the best dentist I’ve ever taken them to! The hygienists were so quick with the cleanings and X-rays, they had a smooth process almost like an assembly line making sure someone’s was always working on each kiddo. Once they finished the dentist came right over and checked each boy throughly and let me know what work if any needed to be done and he even forming 2 of the boys for fillings. The whole staff was super kind! The only down side is they are so busy we couldn’t get a follow-up appointment for 5 months to get the cavaties filled that were found today.
Negative experience: Son was referred here from insurance. They stated he aged out at 14 and that he needed to have a root canal done. Only referred to general dentist and did not state why or give x rays. This place is a joke to get ahold of and ask for the information because they keep saying it’s not documented
Negative experience: They lady at check out is real disrespectful and gets an attitude when you ask her, how you make my kids an appointment without asking me my flexibility? She really needs to check her attitude when you working in a medical profession. I wouldn’t refer anyone to the Winter Haven office. The Lakeland office is where it’s at, they put the patients first and is respectful.

Negative experience: They have their appts scheduling mixed up. When the issue is on their end they will not try and see you in the time frame scheduled. Drove 45 minutes to be told we are 3 minutes late passed the grace time. And one kid was late and the confirmation texts their time did not have the same time as their logged in time. Also, everytime I have went in they say it's for on thing and when I get there they say no your child isn't here for that. Every.time.

Negative experience: I had a really frustrating visit here. First, the front desk told me they didn’t have my child’s info, even though they clearly did. we’ve been there before, and it magically appeared later after some back and forth. As a mom of two toddlers with separate appointments, I expected to have both parents separately accompany each child. But I was told only one parent total could go back, which makes absolutely no sense for two young kids with different appointments. The manager was incredibly rude and dismissive when I tried to explain the situation. Her tone and attitude were completely uncalled for and added unnecessary stress to an already chaotic visit. Zero empathy or professionalism from the front desk and management side. To be fair, the dental techs who worked with my kids were very sweet and did a great job. this has nothing to do with them. But the way we were treated up front was enough for me to decide we’re finding a new office.

Fantastic experience: So let me start by saying—two of my kids get super anxious about the dentist, but ever since we’ve been coming here, they’ve been doing so good. The staff is patient, sweet, and really takes their time to make the kids feel comfortable. That alone means a lot to me as a mom. Now… the only thing that frustrates me a little is the time between appointments. Like, it takes forever pa’ la próxima cita. My teen needs braces, and she can’t move forward if she has cavities—so by the time her next appointment comes around, boom, something else pops up. We’ve already missed two ortho referrals because of this timing thing. Pero bueno… I get it—we’re not in New York anymore. NY was faster with this kinda stuff. You had a dental issue? Boom, fixed. Aquí es más lento, más calmado… but at least they treat you well. Overall, I still recommend them—especially if your kiddo gets nervous like mine. Just be ready to wait a bit longer than usual between visits.

Positive experience: The staff here is amazing so kind, patient, and professional. Everyone from the front desk to the dental team makes you feel welcome and cared for. They do a great job with teens and really know how to talk to them. The only downside is the waiting room gets really crowded, and sometimes there’s nowhere to sit. That part could definitely be better. But overall, we’ve had great experiences and will keep coming back!

Negative experience: They already made me drive an hour with my kids! I arrived and a short woman claiming to be the manager told me each of my kids has a different schedule when it was supposed to be 2:20 p.m. She told me some have 1 p.m. and some have 2:20 p.m. It's a lie because they all have the same schedule. It's happened to me twice. I'm going to transfer my kids to another dentist. While she was talking to me, she walked away without apologizing... and gave me a dirty look... Screw this place! Maybe it's because I'm Black.
Negative experience: This place is terrible! I made an appt for the 24th and got there for them to tell me no appt was ever even made so I rescheduled. I was out of town the weekend before my appt (which was today) didn’t have signal and when I got there 15 mins early they told me I needed to have confirmed 48 hrs ahead of time but I was without service since Thursday before my appt. Which was on a Monday and they tried to make me reschedule again! I refused and told them I wasn’t doing that because it was ridiculous that that isn’t something told to you at the time of making the appt and no signs in the office about it . The lady then printed out a document I signed in 2023!!!!! Saying that I knew the policy like anyone remembers verbatim what they signed YEARS ago. She proceeded to sit and look at the screen then told me they would make this exception only one time and one time only like it was still my fault. If I would have know this ahead of time like when I made the appt I would have made it a point to have someone confirm the appt for me or figured it out. The front desk staff were very unprofessional and seemed to show resentment towards me for the manager (I assume) making the exception. I got all of my children’s documents and made sure to tell them I wouldn’t be back. They also only flossed only one of my children la teeth out of the 3 and said they didn’t see anything in the notes or paperwork on the dental work they did on my son years ago I had questions about. Very unprofessional and concerning.
Fantastic experience: Children and teen dental winter haven is one of the best dental I’ve ever been. I’ve been going to the winter haven location with my little one for over 5 years and they never disappoint me! I had an appointment few days ago at the Lakeland location because they had an earlier availability so I took it! After checking in they told me I wasn’t able to sit in the back with my daughter while she’s getting her procedure, I wasn’t comfortable with that so I went ahead and cancel that appointment! The manager from the Lakeland office did her best to try getting me an early appointment or even same day at the winter haven location! Unfortunately they had none. So I cancel the appointment I went straight to the winter Haven location they had an appointment for the next day at 8am. However I had taken the day off for my current appointment.the front desk person let me know that if there’s any cancellation she would call me. Sure enough they had cancellation and I was able to get in the same day. Thanks to dally! I think that was her name the dental assistant she made my daughter feel relaxed and comfortable throughout her process! The dentist was top tier! He explains everything steps by steps
Fantastic experience: The appointment was very quick and precise however, the wait time was nearly 30 minutes, the waiting area was pretty packed - no seats were an available and it was very warm. There was a fan in the corner, but it wasn’t plugged in. It should have been.

Fantastic experience: I brought my niece for her first dental visit there and she was very anxious. Our dental hygienist was very helpful and patient with her. She talked to her and explained everything she was doing, which made the visit a lot more pleasant. They are really know to interact with kids.

Negative experience: Had a horrible experience, very unprofessional, rude, app was for 9 didn't get call yo the back until 10:20, staff is super rude and minimum helpers. Still waiting for them to put in my prescription for antibiotics for my son. Something they said they'll have ready for me hours ago.

Negative experience: I’m disappointed with our recent experience. This dental office is not very accommodating with special needs children, which is especially frustrating since we’re paying for annual visits and cleanings. During our appointment, they didn’t apply fluoride to my child’s teeth. I had to ask about it, and was told they had run out of it — completely unacceptable for a dental practice. Families expect full, proper care — especially when paying for a full-service visit. This needs to be addressed.
Negative experience: Scheduled an appointment for my daughter as a new patient. With that, you’re sent a questionnaire to complete basically new patient registration forms. I did this in a respectable amount of time, at least 1-2 weeks prior to my daughter’s appointment. Today, I go in for her appointment. First, I sat and waited for an hour before being called to the back. The only reason this happened is because I approached the front desk and asked what was taking so long; especially when others that came after her were being called. Shortly after, my daughter was called. The registrar had never put my daughter into the system as being present (no apologies at all). Once we get to the back, I’m informed by daughter can’t be seen due to her heart defect that she’d need clearance from her cardiologist before they would be able to provide her a services. Although I was pissed, I handled the young lady very well and expressed to her how unprofessional this encounter was. Why had no one reached out to me after completing the only registration providing this information letting me know that I would need to provide this documentation? This could of easily been prevented. To add, I’d waited an hour for nothing. If it weren’t the young lady who called me to the back speaking to me with candor and apologizing for their offices blatant neglect, I would not return ever. The front desk staff needs to learn customer service and accountability. Not once did either staff member up front attempt to apologize or let me know their mistake. Truly unacceptable and unprofessional.
Fantastic experience: Dr. Lopez is amazing (Best dentist I’ve found in the area). She is very educated and helpful. She listened to all my concerns and answered all my questions. My 2-month-old daughter went for a lip- and tongue-tie and they were able to solve it in a timely manner. The manager, Jacquelin, and rest of the staff that attended us were very nice and friendly. And I like that a family member can go inside with the patient, since other places don’t allow it. The waiting area is a bit small and could use some TLC, but overall is a great place. I’m very pleased with their work.
Negative experience: Certainly not pleased. Im not sure if it was lack of information or what but I was under the impression my child was going to have a cleaning done and instead one x-ray was taken which I was not even shown or it was not reviewed qith me. We were automatically referred to an orthodontist which I do t think he needs yet. I think this is all a scam to get paid by medicaid. I will definitely go the private route. We cant even trust medical care teams to do right by our children. Ty

Negative experience: Called and made an appointment for exams only for both of my children, day of appointment I show up to be told they won’t do an exam without X-rays and a cleaning. Even though I declined both on the phone and was told that was fine due to his condition. This place is after to charge your insurance as much as possible not help make sure children have clean and healthy mouths.
Negative experience: Rude Indian dentist that goes by the name of Dr.Lakshmi immadi went and told all of me and my family’s business to every one and embarrassed us telling me how to feed my family. So rude and I hope they fire her.
Negative experience: I've had consistently poor experiences with their customer service, as they've repeatedly cancelled my children's appointments, sometimes while we were already en route, despite my confirmations. This has happened numerous times over the years, prompting multiple attempts to give them another chance. The recent appointment change to 10:10 AM from the originally scheduled 11:20 AM, without my consent, was particularly frustrating. The receptionist's demeanor was also unhelpful. I plan to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
Negative experience: I took my son in for a routine cleaning and expressed concern about his two front teeth, which are extremely loose and clearly ready to come out. The staff acknowledged my concern, took an X-ray, and confirmed that not only are those two front teeth ready to fall out, but that they should be pulled ASAP as his permanent teeth are coming out already. After all that, they told me to pull the teeth out at home myself. I explained that my child wouldn’t let me, and they said they could do it there but that it will have to be at a separate appt at a later date. One tooth is now even looser, and the other is literally dangling. The assistant twisted it during cleaning and then pushed it back in. I was shocked they would do that after stressing how urgent it was to remove them and how easy its been in the past with his other baby teeth. The doctor came in, agreed with the assistant that they need to be pulled asap and still didn’t remove them. We were sent home like that. I will not be returning. I can’t trust a place that rushes through appointments, disregards parental concerns, and sends children home mid-treatment. Save yourself the stress and take your kids somewhere that actually follows through. Attached a picture of how we were sent home. I am not a dentist he will not let me touch them but at the dentist he lets them do it which is what I explained but they did not care. I am very disappointed to say the least.
Fantastic experience: I love this Dental office!! They’re so caring, from the front desk all the way to the medical staff in the back! Everyone is so patient and understanding. My kids will forever go here as long as they keep taking my insurance lol

Negative experience: I made an online appointment for my son who had some tooth pain over the weekend, I got to the office and went through check in process, and then I was told my son was not covered under my dental insurance and couldn’t be seen. Odd? I’ve made no changes to my insurance. They said they called to confirm. I left and called my insurance on my own and they confirmed that nothing had changed and no one had called them to inquire. I called the office back to give them this information and they told me I had to call my insurance and send proof of benefits, sure! No problem! Got BACK on the phone with my insurance and they told me THE DENTAL OFFICE needed to call and ask for benefits information, once again, I got on the phone with the dental office and gave them my insurance information and I asked them to please call my insurance to confirm coverage, they said they would call right away and call me right back, I never received a callback. I am extremely disappointed and confused as to why I was given the run around when I was just looking for dental care for my son.
Negative experience: Very unprofessional and unorganized. We have had to have our appointments rescheduled five different times. Luckily my wife called about the most recent appointment before taking the kids out of school and driving up just to be told they have no record for the appointment. Just to reiterate this is the fifth rescheduled appointment.
Negative experience: This was the second time I’ve taken my daughter here . The first time they just cleaned her teeth nothing more. The second time the woman that brought us back was very rude to my 4 year old telling her “ you’re not trying” “you need to do better” SHES 4 ! And has never had X-rays done! She was very impatient with my daughter !!! I did not appreciate how she talked to her. I will not be bringing my daughter back to this place that is suppose to be for children and yet have no respect, care of compassion for them !
Fantastic experience: Appt date 4.1.25 10am. Today we had an appt with Dr. Lopez for my 2 yr old daughter. Instead we saw Dr. J. Dr. J., did so well with my daughter just like Dr. Lopez. They are both friendly, gentle and not loud. The front office staff are great, I have no problem. The DA's assisted were amazing. They did good with my daughter especially. That's my main focus. I will definitely recommend this place.

Negative experience: If you want to waste time and money go here. They gave me a referral for a tooth extraction to a oral surgeon got home and notice the referral said General practice and call them back and asked them to do a new one because the insurance did not want to pay for the extraction because it said General Practice well when I called children and teen dental they told me I have to go in for another evaluation in order to get the referral change. What kind of service is that you wasted my time my money and my daughter still has a painful tooth.
Negative experience: Plan to wait when coming here. Front office staff is rude and outright declined looking into rescheduling my daughters appointment that the doctor wanted to happen before June. You also can't get through on the phone.
Fantastic experience: Doralis and Dr. Celiany were amazing! Helped my daughter feel at ease and not scared at all
