Fantastic experience: Vanessa the hygienist was amazing…. She made me feel extremely comfortable every step of the way! Very knowledgeable and explained my process very well! Definitely recommend. I just had to pop back on here to further review another brilliant service received by Dr. Espinosa and Jessica… They were very kind and patient with the service they provided for me…. Best dentist in town!!!!

Absolutely love my hygienist Vanessa she’s very polite, explained every detail before my procedure and had the softest hands that I ever encountered in my life at the dentist! Made quite an impression! My assistant Nadia very nice and helpful gentle hands when taking X-rays and explained everything to the best of her ability! Vanessa was my dental hygienist and she really got in there lol to make sure my teeth were fully clean, she also answered and questions I had and provided info that I may need in the future so much appreciated to her and the entire staff!

I’ve never seen anything like that before, they were totally in sync. The doctor also listened to me when I expressed what I wanted. I really enjoyed my experience.

Negative experience: Worst experience ever!!! Jennifer Davila the Office manager at Central Ave dental of valley stream is either incompetent and or a scammer. I suspect fraudulent activity by this office. When Jennifer said good luck on getting reimbursed I thought it meant from insurance company. But, to my surprise, Jennifer also put in a claim for reimbursement from insurance company. In which they received and cashed the check from insurance company. So they have a total of two payments and I’m still getting excuses for me not getting reimbursement from Central Ave Dental. I WOULD not and Will not recommend any of my friends, family and co- workers at the fire department to participate with this dental practice.

Negative experience: Crown to root canal real quick, painful infection after, and somehow they think upselling an implant for my missing tooth is okay— don't claim l'm not in your records like you tell others.

Negative experience: The dentist was rushed and unfocused, which caused a bad infection and a swollen face for a week-coming back was a total nightmare they trying to make excuses from what happened to my infection. Felt the focus was more on payment than on my dental health. ‍♀️‍➡️‍♀️‍➡️‍♀️‍➡️‍♀️‍➡️

Positive experience: Today was the first time in a long time that I have came to a dentist in a while. I was nervous at first, but Central definitely helped ease and calm my nerves. I definitely appreciate Kareene the dental hygienist. She made me welcomed and comfortable and most importantly she cleaned my teeth so well! She let me know step by step what exactly she was doing, which in fact made me feel at ease. I definitely would recommend!!!

My smile looks so much better—it’s natural, beautiful, and the crown looks incredibly real. Dr. Yuriy is truly the best at what he does. His assistant, Jessica, was also so kind and made me feel very comfortable throughout the entire process. The whole experience was professional, smooth, and exceeded my expectations. She was able to schedule my appointment sooner than the original date and kept her promise that she will call me if anything opens up and YES she did !!!

Fantastic experience: I have been visiting Central Ave Dental for the last 5 years and they recently moved a few doors down. The new location is beautiful, clean and welcoming! More importantly the front staff was friendly, welcoming and helpful. My dental hygienist, Vanessa and Dentist did a great job with my cleaning and was very good but gentle at the same time. She was polite and informative. The dentist that assisted me after was equally pleasant and thorough. Will continue to visit as the location is convenient and has ample street parking!

Fantastic experience: I visited this office for the first time last month and it was a 5 star experience from beginning to end. The office looks clean and aesthetically pleasing. Kareene, the RDH was professional and very informative during my dental exam. She recommended different oral products which made the visit feel very personalized and customized to my current oral health. 10/10 experience will definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: Wow! This dental office is so awesome!! They do a very thorough and detailed exam. They did not make me feel uncomfortable at all while dealing with my teeth and treatment plan. The technology is so up to date and the office itself is very beautiful. The staff at the front desk is so sweet and welcoming. Sebastian and my dental hygienist Kareene (beautiful lady in the pic) were so great!! They took their time with my xrays and cleaning. Kareene gave me great advice and recommendations for my dental health and kept me comfortable throughout the cleaning process! Dr. Espinosa was also a very wonderful person! She did a very good job with my fillings and was very gentle. Im so happy she got rid of the stains from having braces when i was younger!! Fantastic experience: OMG, I’m sooo happy I selected this practice for my dental care. First off, the place is impeccable with the decor and cleanliness. I was seen within 10-15 mins after check-in. The staff is TOP NOTCH as they ALL were friendly, patient and knowledgeable. I was taken care of by Nadine, Vanessa and Dr. Igor (owner). I left feeling confident that my oral care was in the best of hands.

Negative experience: Went in for braces a couple years ago, I told the dentist I had jaw locking issues and had a overbite, now that I’m educated a little more I had a class 2 bite and my jaw was misaligned. Dentists should know these things though. Instead of referring me to an actual ortho. This new graduate dentist pressured me into getting Invisalign. I was about 19 and didn’t know, but I also knew myself and I wasn’t going to put Invisalign in everyday especially if it’s painful, so I trusted him and low behold, I wasted $6000. He knew I wasn’t wearing them bc you can tell my teeth weren’t right. Please people know the difference between an orthodontist and a general dentist, and don’t let these people take your money while being lazy when it comes to your teeth.

She explained everything & does make me as a patient feel at ease . I have more work to be done & I am grateful to have Dr Espinosa as my dentist . Negative experience: Today before going to Central Ave Dental I called to schedule an appointment and asked how much the bill will be, the receptionist stated $50 same as my last visit and that I can come in at 2:00 pm, I agreed and showed up at 1:24 pm. Same receptionist checked me in andI asked should I pay now or after, she said after. They took me in, sat me down, put the tissue around my neck and have me waited for a good 10 mns, which I knew they were going to send someone to talk to me about money. The $50 went to $250, a manger came in to explain the same thing, I said why didn't the receptionist mentioned it when I specifically asked how much will everything cost before scheduling any appointments. The $250 went to $71, then when the Doctor did the procedure, she was advising me what to work on my next visit, I quickly said "I used to love coming here, I referred friends, but sorry after todays experience, I no longer want to be a patient at Central Avenue Dental" Doctor wanted to go and find out why her patient was unhappy, I said "please don't bother the damage is already done. When I went to the receptionist, she said "$96.00" I said call the manager lady out here which is it? $50, $250, $71, or $96 she went to the back spoke with the Doctor and said $71. I paid the $71 and will NEVER return to Central Avenue Dental, very disappointed. The receptionist should have looked at everything when she pulled up my name.

Positive experience: Front desk staff needs to gain clarity as to what patient needs are before booking appointments. I don’t need to feel as though this is a financial consultation when leaving or upsold on any service.

I got 2 fillings today and it was very nerve racking. When I tell you, Denise was the person I needed to calm me down. He was a God sent!
