Fantastic experience: Dani my hygienist was amazing! Very kind and knowledgeable.

Positive experience: I had a problem with my dental hygienist because he chose not to listen to me when I told him my gums were severely tender not tender because of lack of brushing but tender because I have a condition in my gums that causes them to not gain strength. He chose to ignore me and do what he wanted anyways which resulted in my gums being cut that hurt. Renaissance apartment

Positive experience: The dentist, Dr Spaniel was terrific.! The hygienist, Diana…not so much. I have been going here for 9 years and she was the worst hygienist I have had. She over flooded my mouth with water, gabbed too much, and was the first hygienist ever to cause pain with the little pick. Tipped the chair back to where my feet were above my head. Felt faint a few times as a result. In too much of a hurry maybe? Will make sure not to have her again! The dentist, however was great.

Negative experience: I came into get a tiny crack on an acrylic patch that was done in December 2024 by the lab at Revolution. This is a snap in denture. The bottom of my tongue scraps across it while eating and trying to not eat on that side, it lifts the other side off the implant. Revolution dental did these snap in dentures in 2022 and I paid $22,000 for them. They are horrible and I've had problems with them constantly. pioneer's lab quoted me $623 to patch over the crack. I thought this was an insane charge and I walked out. I felt taken advantage of and ripped off. I can repair it myself for much much less. Ridiculous. I won't be back. No stars

Vince, my dental hygienist was very intelligent, caring, supportive, welcoming, and left me feeling secure with my overall dental and oral health. These are a lot of words that people might not use when visiting their dental office.

Fantastic experience: I recently switched dentists and I was a bit nervous, but when I got there Gretty in the front was warm and welcoming and eased my nerves! The waiting room was warm and calming! When they brought me back McKenzie was amazing she explained everything to me, she understood and listened to how I prefer some things and was thorough! I met Dr. Spaniel and she is very professional and warm! I know I’m in good hands! See you all in 6 months!!!

Fantastic experience: My hygienist, Jules, did an amazing cleaning for me. She was very patient and gentle during care. I always enjoy seeing Dr. Allender- he is a great doctor. I believe this team always hires good people! 4/4/2024 Jules did an amazing cleaning for me. She is gentle, nice and patient during my care. I am happy to see her for cleanings; she is my favorite. 10/07/2025 Dr. McKenzie is the best! She did a great job! And has a nice voice.

Negative experience: This was the worst dental cleaning I ever had. I get my teeth cleaned every 6 months without any issues. Never had a problem with my teeth. I brush twice a day and floss nightly. I’m new to the area and picked them based on their reviews. The hygienist explained the procedure and I assumed it’s the same procedure it always is but she did not explain the type of instrument she would be using. It was incredibly painful. I was bleeding and my gums were swollen for days. The instrument she used lifted my gums and sprayed high pressure water underneath my gums. I nearly came out of the chair multiple times and I constantly tasted blood. Not once did she ask if I was ok! Was it that difficult to observe I was in pain and stop? Did my teeth get cleaned? Yes. Will I be going back? No. 1 star because my teeth were clean.

Fantastic experience: Wow. What a delightful surprise! A dental team that is kind, gentle and generous. I am so pleased and relieved that I cried! No joke. Ask my husband.

Positive experience: I get very caring care at this office. I will truly miss Dr. Ramirez as he is been a stable person to work with me. I'm sorry for his leaving and I don't know which dentist is next. I'm sure they will not be able to replace him. He was the third dentist that I have seen since I started going there about a year ago and by far the best. I believed him? That is so important. I saw Vince today and he cleaned my teeth and takes very good care of me. I have what I consider some unusual problems but he treats me, as I am sure he does all his patients, with great care. I hope to see in 3 months. The office staff has always been the best and most pleasant to work with. I do not know who sees these remarks, but they are real. Fantastic experience: I had complete implant surgery from Revolution Implants about 20 months ago and I'm very pleased with the results! Yesterday, I had my first implant cleaning at Pioneer Dental and, again, I'm very pleased with the results. Vincent was my hygienist and he was terrific. He was focused, thorough, attentive, informative, and professional in every respect. Dr. Spaniel inspected the X-Rays, as well as my gums and provided very detailed input as to how to maintain my implants over the long-term. The front desk staff were very helpful, efficient and friendly. All in all I am extremely pleased with all the professionals at Revolution Implants and Pioneer Dental! I feel like I'm in good hands. They deliver!

Fantastic experience: Thought I may have cracked a crown today. This is Friday at 2 pm. We are going on vacation next week. They got me in at 4 pm. Checked me out. All's good. Great service. I have been a patient for 10 years. Would not go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: I came in today and saw Dr Ramirez. I am having a dental implant placed in my upper arch at Revolution Dental Implant Center and came to Pioneer to have a lower denture fitted until I have the funds to do implants on the bottom. I saw Bree for my scan, and she was so sweet to me. I expressed having anxiety when it comes to dental work and it's really the reason my teeth have fallen apart. The way both Bree and the Dr treated me was healing for me. A dentist yelled at me in my local practice, and that traumatized me. If you are scared of the dentist, come here. I left feeling so much better during a scary time awaiting surgery and replacement teeth. The front desk ladies Jessica and Gretty are also amazing. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Man where do I start with how much these people ROCK. I guess ill start from the beginning. I broke two teeth and came in to find out my options. Dr Eddie and his staff came up with some options not only taking my finances into consideration but how id like my long term care to look like. As someone who had a lot of fear and trepidation about having two teeth pulled I cant speak highly enough about Dr Eddie and his Staff. Cynthia was the dental assistant on the extraction and she is Good. Cynthia was not only knowledgeable and very skilled but she had a tenderness in dealing with my obvious nervousness. Id also like to say a special thanks to Jessica the Treatment coordinator. who has extensive knowledge and walked me through the before and after extraction. Overall my repot is that if dental work is in your future you'd be doing a disservice to your self to not look into pioneer dental group. 10 out of 10 experience keep up the good work.

He fixed the appearance in two visits. I’d definitely suggest using him and his assistants for your dental treatment. Wish I knew about him years ago.

Positive experience: My teeth were cleaned by Dianne. I think she was a substitute or whatever you call the position. She did an excellent job cleaning my teeth without pain and bleeding and offered some great suggestions. For some reason the doctor wasn't there, so he did not examine my teeth. I don't know why. Is this a common occurence?

Positive experience: I had a good experience with my cleaning by Alex. Normally the doctor does a check but this visit I was told there wasn't a doctor working that day and the doctor would review my xrays later. Seems a little odd.

Fantastic experience: Pioneer dental is just on another level of care. I had called the emergency line on a saturday and was called back within 15 minutes. The Dr listened to my complaint about my tooth pain and called in a prescription for my pain and infection. He went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable enough to get thru the weekend , and got me scheduled that Monday. Going to the dentist can be an awful experience , but pioneer dental goes out of thier way to make sure that your visits are pleasant. Scot C.

Fantastic experience: I had to have a deep cleaning which requires 2 appointments. I was quite nervous as I have never had to have deep cleanings. The hygienist made me so comfortable and explained everything she was doing. It went very well! All the other office staff were so nice.

Fantastic experience: The people at Pioneer Dental Group in Oregon City were very nice and helpful to work with. They answered any questions I had about procedures or billing. I hadn’t been to a dentist in years and felt a bit apprehensive. They were mindful of my concerns and comfort. I went in for a deep cleaning, and the hygienist did excellent work and kept me comfortable. I plan to continue going to this dental office.

Fantastic experience: Dr Allender and his crew is the most ideal group of people for very simple, smooth efficient and painless treatment. He has been trading me my family and friends for many years now with outstanding performance. And very competitive pricing

Positive experience: At about 5:15 PM I called the office and left a message that a crown had just popped off. I received a call back early the next morning to schedule an appointment to address the issue. I was very thankful to be able to come in that same afternoon. Shortly after arriving they took me right in and got to work. After an x-ray and prepping of the crown it was carefully checked for high spots then glued back into place. Final touches of removing excess glue around its edges and the job was complete.I was very please with the prompt repair and the professional staff service. I was a little puzzled over the additional cost for repairing their previous work, but paid the charge in appreciation for their quick follow-through.

Fantastic experience: My mom recently relocated to Oregon City so I needed to find her a new dentist. Everyone who I have dealt with at Pioneer has been warm, kind, and professional. My mom is nervous about dental treatment, but she cannot say enough good things about her experience here. She felt very cared for, especially by her hygienist, Jules. I am so grateful to have found this practice!

Negative experience: Updated review: initially I liked the office, it was clean and staff was friendly and overall did a decent job with my cleanings. I recommended it to my husband so he went in and unfortunately the dentist recommended a crown. It has caused him constant discomfort. Fast forward, we moved and went to a different dentist who kindly adjusted the crown and suggested he likely didn’t need it (just needed a filling fixed). Seems like the dentist at Pioneer were only after a bigger ticket item to charge more $$$. PS - red flag should’ve been when we were bribed with a Starbucks gift card in exchange for a review. Also - during an appt for a cleaning, I noticed I was working with someone new so I asked where my usual hygienist was and was told she was on their annual "staff retreat"…guess they hit their numbers

Fantastic experience: I would give this place a 100 stars if I could! Everyone at Pioneer dental are so nice. Dr Nika is amazing. I actually enjoy going to the dentist. Wish I had known about them or wish they were around in my early years, my dental journey would have been so much different.

Brittany did a great job cleaning my teeth pain free. Dr. Rolly was very thorough and did a great job explaining regions of concern. I would recommend this office to any of my friends and family.

Fantastic experience: Had a good experience with Dr Neeja and her assistant they were very concerned with my comfort and well being, even with it being a very long appointment. Thumbs up to them!

Negative experience: Dr. Nika was nice and did a great job with 2 implants. The last visit I had someone in their office stole my credit card are information and racked up a mortgage payment and Utility bill. The billing person took my card and was gone for more time than it takes to run a charge. The next morning I’ve got this big erroneous charge, the bank was nice and covered me, but I suspect that person or the assistant stole my financial information. Also they charged me 253$ for an incidental CT when I called to dispute the charge the rep told me they would delete it as they don’t usually charge for those. I feel that they are a practice that harvests procedures from patients and is not concerned with my dental health. I and my husband will not be back to this Practice as there are too many troubling experiences and I feel that the billing people are dishonest.

Fantastic experience: This place is wonderful. I've had a lot of extensive work done here and never felt a thing. If you're putting it off because you're scared of needles stop putting it off now and call and ask for dr neeka! She's numbed me up several times and somehow I've never once seen or felt the needle. She's extracted a few of my teeth and I didn't even know she was done until she told me it was over. I could seriously fall asleep in the chair when she's working on my mouth no matter how extensive the work is! It's the most relaxing dental office I've ever been to! Super friendly staff all around from the office to the chair!

Fantastic experience: Had a couple molars extracted, one badly infected. Dr. Allender did the honors and Norma assisted. Both were excellent! Pain was minor. Overall, an excellent experience and I'll be seeing this team for more work in the future!

Fantastic experience: We love Pioneer Dental! My hygienist, Alex is always very thorough and really works to make sure the whole cleaning experience is calm and stress-free. I know she only sees me twice a year but she is always so sweet and friendly and acts like we are 'just catching up' from being away for a long time. More importantly, we feel that the dentists here don't try to just make money by recommending unnecessary filling replacements or work that will ultimately lead to a weaker mouth in the long run. They are honest and really strive to keep you coming back year after year for check-ups and not just drilling for the sake of drilling.

Negative experience: They used to be a great dentist to go to. However in recent years they just try to get as much money out of you as they can. They told me I needed a root canal done. I got a second opinion and low and behold, no root canal needed. I needed a small fill. Every time my parents go, they try and get as much out of them as they can. My dad who has perfect teeth has spent thousands on their "necessary" procedures. Go somewhere else where they actually care about your teeth and not just money.

I told them how nervous I was getting a filling done because I’ve had so much oral surgery. They took their time and walked me through everything. The Dr. was efficient and quick. Fantastic experience: I am so impressed with Pioneer Dental Group and I highly recommend them! Here's why: Front desk and office support staff are often overlooked but a good employer knows that they are some of the most important people on your team. Pioneer Dental Group knows this and they have hired right! Their office staff are absolutely wonderful. They are welcoming, friendly and beyond helpful. But hey, the dental team is equally important. When you put your money where your mouth is, you want a good result. My dentist, Neeka, is the most gentle and caring dentist I have ever had. She is always concerned and ready to address any pain issues I have and her dental skills are consistently excellent. She is also innovative and thinks outside the box conquering dental challenges like a true super hero. I would be remiss if I failed to mention my dental hygienist Jennifer. While I admit that I don't enjoy getting my teeth cleaned, Jennifer somehow makes it tolerable. She has a warm personality, friendly smile, and some seriously strong fingers! Despite this, you just know that she is not going to hurt you. ;-) Finally, all other dental staff I have encountered there have been absolutely wonderful. Really I am just so grateful to everyone at Pioneer Dental Group. Thank you all so much!!!

Fantastic experience: I have Kaiser permanente dental, and they are very good, but the 4 times that I have needed implants and crowns, Pioneer dental has been my preferred solution. The price quoted to me from both providers was a major factor, with Pioneer providing the best price. And once again I am not bashing Kaiser by any means, but there is a different vibe between a private practice and a large organization. It is common when I go in for a cleaning and xrays with Kaiser, that the person working on me is impressed with the work that I have had done. This makes me feel good about my decision.
