Fantastic experience: I needed a tooth extraction Asap, called Monday, only available day was the next week. They put me on a cancelation list and called me the next day to tell me Thursday the same week had opened up so I took it. Arrived on time, filled out the necessary paperwork, they had me in the back within minutes, took x-rays, talked to me about the options. The Dr. communicated well with me, numbed the infected tooth area, gave it a few minutes, extracted the tooth effortlessly, painless and within minutes finished quickly. Extremely satisfied on how smooth and quickly the service and process went. Also everyone was very friendly. Will be going back for future dental work. Thank you Dr. Antee and I Definitely recommend. A+++

He has always treated my husband and I respectfully, and performed whatever dental care we needed with a gentle hand. My hygienist is amazing and the front office ladies are pleasant and professional. I am so glad my husband and I chose Dr. Antee and Lufkin Dental Group as our dental team.

Great bedside manner and personality. I wish I could remember her name! I despise dental work, major anxiety.. so having a great staff and patient dentist is so important.

Fantastic experience: I called Monday needing extraction for a broken tooth they were booked up but still managed to squeeze me in on Wednesday. Office is clean and the staff are nice and organized. I waited about 5 minutes before being called back. Dr Antee did great and I felt nothing from numbing to the difficult procedure of extracting a broken molar. We got it done and 24 hrs later I’m still in no pain. So I call that a success.

Fantastic experience: I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly, welcoming AND very professional staff at the Lufkin Dental Center during my first visit there. The folks were all awesome at putting me at ease upon entering the treatment room and Dr.Tanner’s attention to my issues, her professional, caring attitude and her clear concise communication - as we discussed my dental needs, were - IMHO, exceptional. Also, very important to my interests - was finding there, a beautiful, well cared-for facility with a modern, cheerful feel and what appears to be state-of-the-art equipment. A friend had suggested I visit Lufkin Dental Center, I’m pleased that I did and look forward to a positive association there. MJarreau

Negative experience: I’m surprised this place is still in business. Amanda lied and said my appointment was cancelled when in fact I did not cancel my appointment. When I showed her the confirmation message I got, she told me it wasn’t her problem and to stop “soliciting” in the lobby. She should be fired. That’s definitely not how you keep customers.

Fantastic experience: Courtney was so sweet and excellent care. Loved my visit! I felt very comfortable & all staff were so helpful.

Negative experience: I’m really surprised by the high ratings for this place. Over the past three years, almost every appointment I scheduled was rescheduled. On three occasions, the doctor didn’t see me at all, telling the assistant he was too busy. Most recently, my appointment was canceled by text without any apology. When I tried to rebook, I was told the next available appointment was two months away. For a small town clinic with plenty of staff, it’s disappointing that there’s rarely a doctor available. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning.

I felt welcomed and was surrounded by professionals who cared about providing a great service. I didn’t have the best insurance, but they worked with me to get the most out of it. No surprises here. Negative experience: I received a call at 2 and was asked if I was on my way to my appointment. I explained that my appointment wasn’t until 3:15 and was told, “no it was at 2.” I was made to believe that I was over a hour late to my appointment. However, when I got there it was explained to me that they were just moving patients up due to inclement weather. I wish they would have just told me that over the phone instead of having me try to rush to get there because I was late. My appointment felt somewhat rushed and was not very assuring. I’m sure that the weather conditions and possibly trying to get home before conditions worsened was the reason for this. I can’t confidently say that I will return to have anything done here.

Fantastic experience: The new office is beautiful. Love the design and colors. Courtney Woods, my new dental hygienist, was knowledgeable and kind. The dentist took time to explain my treatment plan and even visited a little while. The Dental Center of Lufkin took great care of me today.

Fantastic experience: Great visit, who says that about the dentist, right? Had to fit me in and got to me quick. I have been here 2x same result. Relaxed visit and fixed what I thought was a major issue, turned out not to be. Have another appointment for more involved work and will update on speed and quality of work. Update: To be clear, my previous review was strictly concerning Dr.Antee, who is very personable and works quickly. He has become very popular as a result, I assume. Unfortunately, my wife and I will not be returning. Most physicians are unaware of downturns in their business until it becomes severe. Often, it is their staff or office communications, not the physician, causing the problems. This is why we will not return.

Fantastic experience: I established new patient service today at Dental Center Lufkin. I don’t hesitate to give a five-star rating. Service was prompt and ALL staff members were courteous, professional and kind. The facility was pristine and I had no qualms whatsoever as to sterilization of the facility and equipment. Courtney did an amazing job cleaning my teeth. Finally, Dr. Antee was thorough and answered all questions without hesitation. I will definitely become a repeat customer!
