Yesterday was the first time I went to his office, and I was most impressed at how professional, thorough, kind and caring Dr. K. and his staff are. His facility is SUPER nice and spotless inside - I was very impressed! I needed an extraction to be done, and from the time I walked into the office until I left, it only took one hour. That included X-rays, consultation, preparation and everything else. Surgical Assistant Lisa was amazing, and did a fantastic job of calming my nerves. Dr K. even called me himself yesterday evening, after hours, to see how I was doing! I could not ask for a better experience at an oral surgeon. I feel INCREDIBLY lucky to have been treated so well, and Dr. Kikuchi and his staff have my highest recommendation!

What really stood out was how he connected the experience to something personal — he said the medication would make me feel "right back at home in Waipahu," which made the whole thing feel more comforting and familiar. His assistant, Lisa, was also amazing. She took the time to find the best vein, checking both arms and hands, and was very thoughtful about minimizing discomfort. She got it on the first try — which never happens for me. I usually get poked at least twice during blood work, so this was a pleasant surprise. Fantastic experience: Had a tooth pulled yesterday. All staff were very friendly answered any questions I had and Dr. Kikuchi went beyond what I have ever experienced with a surgeon and called me himself later that night to make sure I was doing ok!

Fantastic experience: Yesterday, I had surgery with Dr. Kikuchi and his wonderful staff with the purpose of having my four wisdom teeth extracted. Another dentist recommended Dr. Kikuchi to me, stating he was possibly the best dental surgeon in the state. When I looked him up online, I only found excellent reviews. My main concern with this surgery was that as a woman over 40, a procedure like this carried certain risks. On top of that, I have a personal history of allergies to a certain type of general anesthesia. So, I needed to be in the hands of someone truly experienced. Even with that reassurance, I was pretty scared when I entered the operating room yesterday. The staff who prepared me before I saw Dr. Kikuchi were very gentle with the needles and made me feel safe. When Dr. Kikuchi came in, it was very reassuring that he wanted to confirm certain details about my health history. I had the surgery under general anesthesia and was completely asleep. The procedure went smoothly, and once it was finished, I was able to go home with my husband while still not entirely conscious. Today, a day after the surgery, I have no pain and haven't needed to take any painkillers. I've been following the instructions of taking the prescribed antibiotics to prevent infection and have started to regain full sensation and motor function in my lower lip and jaw. I was all numb in that area for about 20 hours, but I was previously informed that this was a possibility. I greatly appreciate that Dr. Kikuchi personally called me yesterday for a follow-up. If the doctor or his staff ever read this review, this nickname is not in your files since I don't use my real identity online. But please know my experience was very real, and I am grateful for the tremendous service I received at this clinic. I would absolutely recommend this practice to anyone who needs it, now and in the future. Thank you, so so much. I am truly grateful.

Fantastic experience: Got 3 teeth removed this morning. From the front desk, to being escorted to the room, to the person who administered my meds, everyone was professional, friendly, courteous and most importantly, in my book, very kind. Processes was explained clearly and happened just as they explained. I didn't feel anything. I met Dr. Kikuchi last week,. He, too, was very kind, courteous and took the time to explain everything and answered my questions. Would use him again but I hope that I don't have to..lol!

Fantastic experience: My partner recently had to come in to get his wisdom teeth removed. It was his first time going under, and he was understandably very nervous. Dr Kikuchi explained the risks very well, answered all of his questions, and made us feel confident in our treatment decision. When it was time for the procedure to began Lisa was incredible while putting his IV in. She made the process so easy while he was so nervous! It was quick, as painless as possible, and if any other oral surgery arises I’m sure we will be back!

Fantastic experience: We had the best experience with Dr Kikuchi he is super nice and the surgery of wisdom teeth removal for my 17 years old daughter went so smoothly and quick. He is also so caring, he gave us a call after office closed to check on my daughter and to let us know that we can call him on his personal cell phone in case of any issues. The next day he did also reach out to check on her. The staff is super nice and friendly, the office is extremely nice, clean and relaxing. This exceptional surgeon deserves all 5 stars.

From the smooth check-in at the front desk to the professional and kind assistants in the back, everything was handled with care. They did a wonderful job keeping my son calm and comfortable throughout the process. The doctor’s bedside manner was outstanding, which gave us great peace of mind. The office itself is beautiful and spacious, with a separate waiting room for drivers as well as complimentary snacks and beverages, which made the whole visit even more comfortable. Fantastic experience: Kikuchi Oral Surgery Clinic and Dental Implant Center at the Fort Apache location has the best service; from the front desk (Jen) to the Xray Room(Vanessa), Financial Coordinator (Brittanie), Surgery Room Assistant (Jenny), Coordinator (Jackie). They treat their patients as family. Special mention to Dr. Kikuchi whom I considered my angel during my surgery. He treated me like his elder sister. The surgery was very quick and no pain after. I felt better on the second day. I greatly appreciated receiving a courtesy call from him later in the day to ask how I was doing after the surgery. I give him a 5+++ rating on that gesture. Services given to me by the clinic is BEYOND AWESOME. Highly recommended for oral surgery and dental implant.

Fantastic experience: My dentist has been recommending that I take out my wisdom teeth for over a decade, but I never did it due to horrific stories I've heard about the procedure. Kikuchi Oral was recommended, so I finally went in and now I'm taking time out of my day to thank them for the wonderful experience. The staff was friendly, very informative and procedure was done in a an hour. The pain over the next few days was almost non existent (less than a paper cut.) Fantastic experience: I had two molars that have been quite the nightmare. After two double root canals on them TWICE and both unsuccessful, I ended up at Kikucki Oral Surgery and Dental Implants. I have had a sinus perforation repair and the removal of one molar and a sinus lift and the removal of the second molar. I recently got the implants put in and am now healing. I must say that I am very thankful for Dr. Kikuchi and all of his staff. They are amazing in talent, professionalism and compassion. I highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: All the staff in the office are very friendly and warming. They made sure my daughter was comfortable and understood the whole surgery even though she was still nervous and upset. Of course, as a 14 year old, she would never be relaxed and fully comfortable with an oral surgery. Dr Kikuchi explained the process very well and made sure we didn’t have any questions. Special thanks to the lady, Sorry I didn’t get her name, who wheeled her out after the surgery. My daughter was very emotional and wouldn’t stop crying post anesthesia l. Fantastic experience: HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! 10/10 If you’re an anxious dental patient, this is the only oral surgeon you should consider. I had a fantastic experience at this office. From reception, to assistants, to the incredible Dr. Kikuchi, everyone is so kind, compassionate, and patient. I went to Dr. Kikuchi for a second opinion for 4 wisdom teeth extractions because I had a horrible consultation with a previous oral surgeon. I’m so glad I did. Ollie, Rashida, Daisy, Valerie, (I’m forgetting a couple) were also so incredible. I am a highly anxious person when it comes to dentistry, especially going under anesthesia. On surgery day, all the ladies were so sweet and patient while I was balling my eyes out from fear. The procedure went better than expected. I have no nerve damage which was my biggest concern. (The other oral surgeon had me watch a warning video and didn’t really have any compassion when I asked about the odds of permanent damage). When I went to kikuchi, he had me do a ct scan to see my nerve better and he said there’s practically no chance of nerve damage. The entire process was seamless. To top it off, he called me from his personal cell that day to check in on me. I was also able to ask questions via text days after. I cannot recommend this office enough. Go to them, you won’t be disappointed !!! 10/10

Fantastic experience: Nobody likes to get a tooth pulled but at 73 I had to get my first tooth extracted. My dentist sent me to Dr. Kikuchi because my tooth was decayed below the bone. I called on Friday and they got me in on Monday, thank god because I was in a lot of pain and trying to contain it with Tylenol. I arrived a little early and was greeted with a very nice smile by the receptionist and she told me they would get started with x-rays in a few minutes. I did the paper work on-line so they were ready for me, they knew of any allergies and what medicines I take. After x-rays I was taken to the room where my procedure would be in. Dr. Kikuchi came in and explained his procedure completely and how he will monitor my breathing and heartbeat at all times and would not go any further if saw signs of any problems. I approved then three assistance came in and hooked up an IV and monitoring equipment. They turned on the IV and the next thing I knew I was done, no pain no discomfort. They told my wife what I need to do the next few days and gave her instructions on the same. I have followed those instructions and on the day after I am very comfortable and pain free. Bleeding stopped in just a few hours, have been eating soft foods until tomorrow. I am surprised at how painless the procedure was and they prescribed antibiotics and ibuprofen for pain and swelling which I have been taking with room temperature water. Dr. Kikuchi and his whole crew are highly professional, proficient, and very caring for their patients. I highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: I had came in for a very bad tooth infection that had to be extracted and let me just say the experience here was AMAZING!! Dr Kikuchi was amazing!!!! My tooth extraction surgery went so good and very painless even after the day of surgery i had no pain! My healing process has been so easy and still painless like i mean no pain AT ALL! Fantastic experience: We were referred to Dr. Kikuchi’s office by a friend and I’m so thankful for that referral. I called and they were able to get my son in for his wisdom teeth removal within the same week. They were so kind!!! My son is on the spectrum and was terrified to do this. They made him feel like his comfort really mattered to them and that made me relax. They were so gentle with everything they did explaining it all to him step by step. The X-rays were amazingly clear and they were able to spot right away that his bottom ones were resting on a nerve. Another dentist that took his first set never said anything like that. Dr. Kikuchi came and explained everything he was going to do along with the risks of any possible damage to the nerves and never made my son feel pressured. The office staff are incredibly kind and I love that they have an in ear radio system to keep everyone on track with the patients. I stayed with my son until they pushed the first med and I left knowing he was in great hands. Their waiting room was stocked with water, coffee and snacks. It had a tv and the lights were nicely dim. The office is immaculate. 15 minutes later, the nurse came and talked to me about how it went and what the post-op care would be. They had him in a comfy recliner when I went back to see him. After 10 minutes they were ready to wheel him out to my car. The girls in there are so sweet. Later that evening, I got a call personally from Dr. Kikuchi checking on my son and said that if I had any questions or concerns I could call him on that number. Who does that anymore? Very nice touch!!! I recommend Dr. Kikuchi for ANY and ALL oral surgery needs you may have. You’ll be in the best hands.

Fantastic experience: Best customer service from beginning to end. From making the appointment to the follow up call after the procedure from Dr. Kikuchi. Dr. Kikuchi explained the procedure thoroughly with all the risk and benefits. My daughter had all 6 of her wisdom teeth removed. The procedure went great and she had very minimal pain afterwards. After care instructions are clear and precise. As a patient you want to know what to expect.

At the end of the day, it is still your choice to decide whether you want to go through it or not. I usually do not care to post a review online because I'm old school, but that will not do them any justice. Also the staff is just as equally as professional as Dr. Kikuchi. They answered all of my questions, work with whatever that is necessary so that there will be no issue with our insurance. I'm very happy and satisfied to have chosen Dr. Kikuchi for my kids oral surgery. And last but not least, Dr. Kikuchi gives a courtesy phone call after the surgery to make sure that his patients are okay, which is a very good gesture. I highly recommend this office especially for someone like me who is usually cautious in choosing the right doctor. Thank you Dr. Kikuchi and staff.

Fantastic experience: This visit was my 3rd tooth extraction buy Dr. Kikuchi and was the best, the other two were also very good. This is the best office, clean, organized, and everyone knows what they are doing. Especially Dr. Kikuchi, who meets with you prior to the proceedure and explains everything that is going to happen. I don't enjoy having my teeth pulled, however this is the place to have it done. Great job everyone.

I recently visited Kikuchi Oral Surgery & Dental Implant Center for a tooth extraction, and from start to finish, the experience was seamless. Upon arriving, I was immediately impressed by their beautiful lobby and the warm professionalism of their staff. Everyone I encountered was polite, welcoming, and made me feel at ease. Once I was taken to the back room for my consultation and procedure, a wonderful team member stayed with me to keep me calm and comfortable. (I wish I could remember her name—she was fantastic!) Her care made all the difference. Dr. Kikuchi then came in for my consultation. He was incredibly friendly, professional, and thorough in explaining the steps of the procedure. His approachable demeanor put me at ease right away. The procedure itself was smooth. After the I.V. was placed, I don’t recall much since I was put under, but when I woke up, I felt well-cared for despite being a bit groggy, which was expected. The staff even helped me with my sweatshirt, placed me in a wheelchair, and escorted me to my car so my husband could take me home. Dental surgery is never something to look forward to, but I would wholeheartedly recommend Kikuchi Oral Surgery & Dental Implant Center to anyone who needs it. The team is incredible, and this was, without question, the best medical experience I’ve had since moving to Las Vegas last year. Thank you, Dr. Kikuchi and team, for your outstanding care!

There’s never been an Dr. appointment that I thoroughly enjoy like getting my wisdom teeth removed by this team (which is insane) From the front desk to being wheeled out, every member is fantastic. The procedure and process is so smooth. I can’t even think of one bad thing to say about this place. Dr. Kikuchi even calls the night of your procedure and provides his personnel number Incase you are in need of an emergency. During my consult, Dr. Kikuchi was very professional, educational, and transparent about my wisdom teeth removal procedure. I was pretty nervous, but the staff were absolutely wonderful in making me feel comfortable. It was a super quick process, I was prepped, closed my eyes, and woke up the next minute all done! Fantastic experience: Wisdom tooth started hurting on Tuesday...called and looked for an Oral Surgeon on Wed...got in on Friday and Dr Kikuchi was able to help me get that nasty tooth out ASAP. On top of all that, he actually gave me a personal call the night of the surgery to make sure he answered and questions and checked up on me to see if I was ok. I haven't' had that level of health care in maybe forever. 5 stars doesn't do this place justice...10 stars if possible. On top of all that, the staff at the office were all super nice, including the front office who helped me find an appt. Amazing practice

Fantastic experience: My husband went in for an urgent tooth removal today. All staff members were extremely kind, comforting, and reassuring. Dr. Kikuchi did an Amazing job at caring for my husband, his procedure was fairly quick and went off without a hitch! The Doctor asked a lot of questions about his health, history, and really took the time to know him before operating. Time flew by while waiting in the comfort area with provided water, coffee and snacks. I received detailed recovery instructions, and he’s now feeling comfortable resting up at home. Truly an amazing experience, highly recommend and place my full trust in Dr. Kikuchi’s practice!

Fantastic experience: I made sure to schedule my wisdom teeth removal with Dr Kikuchi because he handled my sisters complex removal so well. They explain everything from top to bottom, no surprises on the copay, wonderful fromt desk staff (My anxious self called them 5x the day prior.) My favorite aspect about this practice is just the refreshing reality that you are Not rushed, concepts are explained so that I can understand, and staff will do whatever to make sure you are taken care of. I am seen as a human patient and not just their next appointment.

All staff are nice, kind, informative, their customer service is excellent, even ask my husband to offer the waiting room n coffee while he is waiting. Prior to surgery, on the surgery day and post surgery communication and follow up is superb....office starts early to ensure everything is ok. Fantastic experience: Excellent service. Dr. Kikuchi somehow made me excited to get my wisdom tooth removed. I was given very clear explanation of the anesthesia process before the surgery and a pamphlet with post care instructions. Dr Kikuchi gave me a call from his personal phone about 7 hours after my surgery to check on how I was doing. Everyone else is the office was extremely helpful and friendly as well.

Fantastic experience: I’m a 15 year old teen that had my wisdom teeth which caused me problems removed yesterday I was extremely anxious and afraid and I did not know what to expect. I couldn’t stop explaining enough to my family that I had the most amazing nurses and doctor with me in the room. They stayed by my side the entire time constantly reassuring me and comforting me. I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. Dr. Kikuchi actually took his time to explain to me and my mom in the room the entire procedure with such compassion and kindness that immediately eased my nerves. His nursing team helped me so much and also calmed my nerves and extensive amount and during the beginning of the procedure they even gave me a blanket for comfort. I wish I could give them all a big hug to show how grateful I feel to have had them with me the entire time. The atmosphere the nurses create in the office is calming, reassuring and peaceful. Simply amazing, the moment you walked in you immediately felt extremely welcomed. To top it all off Dr.kikuchi took his time after his office hours to call my mom to check on my recovery, which my parents said was simply unexpected, and unheard of from todays standards. It is unfortunate that Dr. Kikuchi and his nursing team don’t do primary dental care because I would choose him to be my dentist for life.Thank you for such an amazing experience this will always be a core memory for me and I wish you and your entire team all the best. Fantastic experience: Highly recommended Dr Kikuchi!!! Going into it I was a bit anxious with how I would feel afterwards but the ladies who were prepping me eased my nerves and we ended up having some fun conversations before I went under. One moment I was talking the next thing I know it I was waking up and being told to sit on a wheelchair. Honestly the first two days I didn’t feel a thing, my face wasn’t swollen and I had no bruises, it felt like I didn’t even have surgery. Dr Kikuchi did such an amazing job that if I could regrow my wisdom teeth just to get them out again I would do it with him everytime!. Fantastic experience: This is by far the best clinic I've been to in town. The service and care they provide is impeccable. From Day 1 that we came in for my daughter's consultation till post surgery, they put so much care in every little step and process. My daughter is only 7 and Dr Kikuchi took the time to chat with her and made her feel at ease. He explained everything to her and asked her if she had any questions for him. The medical staff also took care of her while getting her X-rays and medical record. They also made sure to check with my insurance and made the payment process so simple. On the day of surgery they prepared a nice blanket and plush toy for my daughter to feel comfortable. They had me wait in the lounge that had comfortable sofas, TV, coffee and snacks. Best of all, Dr Kikuchi took the time after hours to call me himself to check on my daughter!! Everything here was absolutely perfect!!! Kudos to you guys!!! Thank you for taking care of us!!!
