Fantastic experience: I had a cracked tooth, they got me in quickly then Dr. Zombek fixed the tooth quickly and at a reasonable cost. It was 45 minutes from the time I walked into the door and when I walked back out. The following day, everything felt great with no pain or other issues. Perfect.

Fantastic experience: This is a fantastic dentist office! I’ve never been to a dental practice where all of the employees are so cheerful, caring and happy. I have seen Dr.s Mercer, Wells and Brintle, all of whom are excellent and far superior to the other dentists I have seen since moving to the area 10 years ago. The only downside to this practice being so awesome is that it can take a bit of time to get in initially. But, believe me, all in the practice are worth the wait!

Yet, they did not reschedule but helped to work through getting the script and proceeding with my appointment. All the staff were friendly, welcoming, and professional. My teeth have never felt this clean and every issue and procedure was explained in detail. My husband was equally pleased.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Wells and the hygienist I visited today were thorough with my exam and respectful to me and one another. I've been a patient of Dr. Wells for a while now based on a friend's recommendation. I am always pleased with my results. He takes time to chat and I do not feel rushed. In addition, the staff never tries to upcharge me for services I do not need, unlike Aspen Dental.

Fantastic experience: I had a crown come off my front tooth. The receptionist was very helpful in getting me in for an appointment. When I entered the office, I was met at the door and ushered back to the dental chair. In no time, Dr. Mercer and her assistant had the crown cleaned, shined and back on my tooth. Now I can smile again! Wonderful experience!

I didn't think I would find such expertise in a place like Mount Airy if I wasn't able to in NY. But Dr. Wells provided the correct (and more involved) bone grafting technique that I couldn't find elsewhere, including in Mount Airy, ensuring success with my implants. For me Dr. Wells is a miracle worker!!! **********

Fantastic experience: I have a irrational fear of the dentist, so I haven't been in years. I kind of had a dental emergency, an abscess that is healing and Dr. Wells office took me in as a new patient the day after I called for a appointment. The staff is extremely friendly and they do whatever they can to help you. I called quite a few dentist and no one could see me, especially as fast as Dr. Wells' office. I look forward to going back and having them as my permanent dentists. I highly recommend them to anyone needing a dentist.

Negative experience: If I could give them 0 that would be the review. After scheduling 5 appointments for everyone in my family for July....I called January 3rd btw and that was the first appointments....they called and cancelled all but 4 of the appointments. We have waited over 7 months for these appointments. When I asked when they could be rescheduled we were told February 2023. That is 13 months after my first call. The one appointment that they kept they said they didn't have time to complete after taking x-rays and they can't get him back in until February to complete the appointment which includes dental work. The hygienist was also rude to him. I admit I was irate when they cancelled these appointments because we waited so long we could have already been seen by another dentist. Do not go here. If they ever finish an appointment or schedule you, they maybe good, but I would just start somewhere else

Fantastic experience: I need a dentist because after Chemo, my upper teeth started to dissolve and even though I was nervous and scared about going to a dentist, this was something I had to do. Well, my husband was going to Doctor Mercer, a Dentist that was apart of Doctor Wells office in Mount Airy, NC. Doctor Mercer, did my initial consultation, and asked me if she could introduced me to Doctor Wells, as what I needed was his specialty. At first, I was a little intimidated by him, but I quickly realized he only wanted the best treatment for me. He was very kind and knowledgeable about my dissolving teeth and what I needed! Doctor Wells explain everything that was needed to be done for me, to have a healthy mouth again, to my husband and me. As it turn out, before I could get implants for my upper teeth, I also needed bone graft. Well, I am almost ready to get my final implants, and I am so excited! Doctor Wells and his Staff have been so nice and easy to talk to, when I had questions. And believe me, I had a lot of questions and no one ever lost patience with me! If you are looking for a great Dentist, who is very knowledgeable, patient and kind, call Doctor Wells Office in Mount Airy, North Carolina!

Fantastic experience: Laura Mercier is the best dentist I've ever had she fixed a cavity that's fell out, it feel more natural now then it ever did my bite is so much better now that she fixed it!!! Also my visit was supposed to be at the end of next month and they fit me in because a cancellation last Thursday love her ❤️❤️❤️

She made me feel really relaxed since I had sensitive teeth, I really dreaded the visit, but she was gentle but very thorough and knowledgeable. She did an excellent job cleaning my teeth! After searching for so long for a good dentist and hygienist, I finally found a good one! I highly recommend this place!

Not only did Tonia make me feel very comfortable but she did an excellent job of explaining everything that we were going to be doing. She was very patient and I truly appreciate that.

Fantastic experience: The dental spa is an amazing complementary service! I avoided the dentist for 6 years before coming to Dr. Wells office and after expressing my concerns and anxiety surrounding the dentist my hygienist offered the dental spa! I couldn’t imagine having my teeth cleaned any other way now! This office is so welcoming and everyone is so nice! -today was one of the first times I ventured out with my newborn, my baby became fussy during my cleaning and the staff were all so patient with me and offered to take her to walk around the office. While they were walking around with her she had a blow out, they changed her without hesitation. I appreciate them so much for this! I was so anxious about taking her but they made everything so easy and smooth. 10/10 would recommend everyone in the office!

Fantastic experience: My visit Monday, May, 16th 2022 was a great experience. The dental hygienist and Doctor Mercer took their time and explained everything that was going to happen. Although unfortunately, I have been in this predicament in the past, everything they told me reassured my feelings about the procedure. As I said in a previous post, I am a 52-year-old man with deep anxieties towards the dental profession due to twin brother Dentists that at the time ( I was 5 years old) still practiced restraining wrists on the chairs with buckles and using their knees placed against your chest to keep their patients still and in line while they did drilling, fillings, extractions. etc etc. So please let me immensely apologize for any time that I am there and appear to be a little gun shy. With all of that said, Laura Mercer D.M.D. Is one of the best dentist I have ever seen in my entire life! She is very genuine, calm and compassionate. In my opinion, her level of skills were incredible. I highly recommend this dentistry and Laura Mercer D. M. D.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Wells and staff always makes it a pleasure to visit, you feel like family. Professional service. If you want a dentist where you don't have to wait in the waiting room for an hour or so past your appointment time to get into see him then Dr. Wells is the place to go. I have been going there for years and I have yet to wait more than 10 minutes after my appointment time and usually they get you in before your appointment. I know no one really looks forward to going to the dentist but I am always pleased with the quality of service that I received. I highly recommend them. Give them a try you may just find out you really like it there.

Fantastic experience: While taveling to my farm near Mt. Airy from my home in California, I broke my front tooth. Given visibility of tooth, I was very worried. I called this dental office and, and had a very timely appointment with an excellent dentist at the "top of his game." His repair of my tooth was fast, expertly done, and an exceptional job. They worked quickly and efficiently with my Insurance company. Costs were very reasonable. Having this dental emergency in Mt. Airy instead of California proved to be a blessing in disguise. GREAT EXPERIENCE!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Brintle and the staff that I met today was very knowledgeable and professional, but also friendly and comforting. Tonya made sure that I was comfortable with every X-ray she took. I am very pleased with the experience. I do not have Dental insurance and am very pleased with the cost of procedures at this dental practice. They also made sure that I was aware of the cost of the procedure before starting the process. Today I went back for my cleaning with Ashley and everything was just as nice as it was yesterday. My cleaning was very thorough and timely. I’m very impressed with this staff.

Fantastic experience: I was super anxious about going to the dentist. Dr Wells was extremely patient with me. He was willing to explain everything in detail. I had to have a root canal and I didn’t feel any pain during the whole entire thing including when he first numbed me. Even after I went home I expected to have some pain….but nope, I didn’t have any pain or swelling. He made sure that I was happy with the finished crown. He even went as far as to make me a second one that Matched my tooth shade a little better. Dr. Wells was fabulous and did a great job. Julie is his dental assistant and I absolutely can not say enough wonderful things about her. She is sweet as pie. She made sure to keep me comfortable and to keep chapstick on my lips to keep them from cracking. They definitely go above and beyond. I would highly recommend Dr. Wells and his staff.

Fantastic experience: Dr.Wells and Julie did a great job replacing a crown for me today. Because they use up-to-date technology, they were able to complete the procedure in one visit! I love that the technology allowed them to create my crown without the messy impressions that is often used. Using a wang they were able to create the crown and print it in a matter of a few minutes. The efficiency of their work prevented multiple trips and the need for a temporary crown. The team worked to make sure that I was comfortable during the entire process. The office staff worked together to make check-in and check-out efficient and safe. The entire office implemented Covid measure to protect the staff and patients. I felt comfortable and safe being in the office. I highly recommend this office for any dental issue you may have.
