I live near several dental practices, but Alegre is the best. Thanks to Montana and Taylor, my favorite Hygienists!

(They have a Keurig set out for anyone to use) They understand how the Pain from dental problems can disrupt your life and they don't hesitate to get you in and get the job done! Fantastic experience: I called on a Monday for an emergency appointment and they got me in. Dr. Garcia saw that I had an abscess..referred me to get a root canal and prescribe antibiotics. Hopefully, this quick response will save me from needing to pull that tooth!

Positive experience: The dental tech was pushing the probe into my pockets too forcefully, giving inaccurate readings. The dentist determined I had two cavities, but I am not confident that is factual. The treatment plan was not covered by my insurance, potentially costing me thousands of dollars. That will never happen.

Fantastic experience: Always great. They are well organized and run smooth. The use helpful text reminders and they have dealt with all my cleaning and implants and did a great job.

Negative experience: While the professional care is good, the billing practices of this office are unethical. They always try to collect full payment without verifying insurance coverage first. After I just cancelled future appointment due to moving, I was told I that have a 50 dollar credit that the office says will take 8 to 10 weeks to process by "corporate office." There is no reason that this office should not be able to refund an overpayment immediately to the last credit card I used or issue a check to me at front desk. Unacceptable business practices.

Negative experience: Dr Garcia and the hygienist's were great. Front desk lady (very thick) was rude, and discussed my financial situation in front of another waiting patient. I found this very embarrassing and cried in my car on the way home. Not all of us are blessed to have awesome dental insurance that covers deep cleaning and there is no way I can come out of pocket $500 to get it done. Just a plain old cleaning would have been great but they said they have to follow a treatment plan that is way out of my price range.

Fantastic experience: I recently moved here and after not seeing a dentist for 2 years, I was worried about going in. I can’t say enough good things about this practice. I did have to wait 15-20 mins past my appointment to be seen, but while waiting, the front desk receptionists went above and beyond to help someone who needed to be seen get a same-day appt at an affiliate office. They also are a tight-knit team. My hygienist, Montana, was incredibly thorough and explained everything to me. My teeth are so clean. And Dr Garcia was completely honest about what she found and how it could be managed going forward. I very highly recommend this dental practice!

Negative experience: Unprofessional and very Up charging in practice. They'll cancel on you constantly due to staffing and try to schedule youw when you're unavailable and act like you're the problem, but God forbid you don't reply to a text because you were out of service and they cancel on you after drive 6 hours on your birthday. They then try to say they have a policy that if you don't reply to a text your appointment is canceled. When the there was no notice of this supposed policy and the notification not explicitly say they will cancel your appointment, and you even recieved a text confirmation that they look forward to see you at your appointment is the next day. Only use them because they were so close to my work but I would never recommend this place. Literally go anywhere where else where they are more professional. I better not get charged for this visit.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Allegre Dental. Entire staff is helpful and communicates well. There is a smooth system for getting people seen on time. I usually see Shawndeen for cleanings and she is an amazing, gifted hygienist. I've met Dr. Garcia and she is very smart and kind and explains things well, encourages and answers questions. An excellent experience every time, for years now.

Negative experience: I am extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism and care at this dental office, especially after spending over $5,000 on Invisalign treatment. I expected a higher level of service and communication, particularly when it comes to managing follow-up appointments. When I tried to schedule an appointment related to my Invisalign treatment, I was told there was no availability. Amanda, a front desk staff member—not a dentist—told me I could just wear the trays for up to two weeks longer than scheduled. That is completely inappropriate and concerning, as she is not qualified to make clinical decisions about my orthodontic treatment. When I requested to speak with the office manager to discuss the situation, Amanda refused to connect me to the office manager. After investing so much money and trust in this practice, the dismissive attitude and unwillingness to accommodate basic care needs is unacceptable. Patients deserve respect, proper scheduling support, and access to the professionals managing their care. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience here.

Fantastic experience: Alegre Dental is the best clinic I have ever been to. The front desk people are friendly and welcoming, the hygienists are gentle with those tools, and so knowledgeable, and Dr. Pisotti is both warm and professional. I've never felt pressured to purchase any products or services, like I have at two other local places. I highly recommend them.

Negative experience: Dr. Garcia is a mystery to me. She sent me a letter declining to provide me care and for the life of me, I cannot figure out why. I assumed she was simply moving from that practice or no longer accepting my insurance but my husband is also a patient and he did not receive a letter. I have tried calling her more than once to see if there was a mistake but she has not returned my calls. I’m usually every dentists dream as I have no dental issues and just need cleaning. I’m friends with her hygienist and the other dentist at that practice (he has since moved). I always show up to appointments and am on time. My bill is paid. I have never been dismissed as a patient by anyone before. It’s truly just so strange!

Tiffany was so understandable when she was doing my exam, and Dr. Garcia is ensuring no more suffering for me in the future. Positive experience: The staff at Alegre Dental petroglyphs were kind and professional, and I really appreciate their friendliness. However, my experience was impacted by a long wait time—I waited 40 minutes after my scheduled appointment before getting roomed. After checking with the front desk, I was informed they were running behind, but I feel this should have been communicated at check-in. Additionally, I noticed several patients who arrived after me were taken in first, which added to my frustration. I hope the office can improve communication regarding delays so patients can plan accordingly. Otherwise, the team is great, and I appreciate their service!

Fantastic experience: One of the best dentist experiences I’ve ever had. Everyone was so friendly. The office was very clean. Scheduling was easy. They answer the phone in a timely manner. They call ahead of time to remind you of your appointment and to get an idea of the purpose of your visit. My dental hygienist (ugh I wish I remembered her name) was a joy to be with. She really took her time to clean my teeth and did not rush. I really really appreciate her thoroughness. 10/10 experience!!

Negative experience: I've been going here for 4 years and may not continue going back. Probably the worst cleanings I've had twice non consecutively with the same individual. I didn't say anything the first time but the second time I mentioned they were jabbing my gums way too hard with the tooling. Typical medical professional response from the hygienist and the dentist was that it was my fault for not flossing. A simple Ill try to go a little easier would of sufficed. I've never had this issues with any other dental cleaning here or anywhere else.

Negative experience: Made an appointment which was canceled because they need more time to try and soak me for more money. The cleaning I went in for was canceled and I was referred to another office for the cleaning. The primary reason for an extensive dental plan is to pay off the new dentist's student loan

Negative experience: Had a bad experience at this place, was waaaaay overcharged for a tiny bit of epoxy for a small chip in my front tooth that fell off 6 hours later. What followed was months and months of phone calls to try to resolve it. Office is unprofessional. Would not recommend.

Fantastic experience: My mom recently got implants and dentures at Alegre Dental she was super nervous about the procedure. From the very first day of going in she was greeted/welcomed from the front office. Thomas the office manager was so helpful from the very beginning he made her feel comfortable and re assured her she would be in good hands. The staff here is awesome and always so friendly, helpful and always makes sure you are getting the best treatment needed. Just had a tooth pulled and bone graph completed and best experience yet. They made sure I felt as little as possible and comfortable.

I will be going back to start addressing the work I need done, and don’t feel anxious about it. Usually, going to any kind of medical facility can be stressful. Fantastic experience: This dentist office is amazing. All of the dentists and staff are great. Can't rave more about a place people usually dread going to. I've never had cavities so I was worried when they said filling, but I did not feel a thing, not even the needle to numb my mouth. I never want to go to another dentist again.

Positive experience: Today My experience with Allegra Dental was a bit annoying. I arrived for my appointment 5 minutes or so before my scheduled cleaning that was scheduled months ago, they acknowledged me right away and checked me in without issues. After waiting 20 minutes I nearly walked out for a reschedule. I would have appreciated a "we're running late/busy message or something from the 3 office personal that were behind the counter. Luckily my usual Cleaning Technician finally opened the door to notify me it was My turn. She mentioned that she had a New Patient that needed a little extra care. I didn't do much chitchat as I needed to finish my appointment as soon as I could to start my rest of the day activities. All went well with no time to spare .

Fantastic experience: Dr. Pissoti is so kind and caring. Since my first visit, we made a game plan for all the work I needed on my teeth and I knew exactly what to expect. He lets you know what he’s doing when he’s working on your teeth and so for my cleanings and fillings were good.

Fantastic experience: This place is great! I went in feeling scared and overwhelmed with how much I knew would need to be done, but by the time I left I felt much better, I know exactly what needs to be done and what to expect. Very professional, friendly, patient, nonjudgmental staff. They all seem to know what they're doing. Very clean facilities, smelled nice. The X-rays are usually something I dread but they're so easy and quick here. I'm not very familiar with the newest technologies in dental care but they seem to have some REALLY impressive equipment. I know this is a dental clinic I can rely on and recommend to others.

Fantastic experience: Alegre Dental at Petroglyphs is one of the best dentists I have been to since I left my old dentist in Colorado back in 2007. I have never been a fan of going to the dentist, but they make it such that I don't mind nearly as much as I used to. It is never completely painless, since my teeth and gums are not in the best shape, but they do their very best to make it as easy and painless as possible.

Fantastic experience: Everyone I've met at Alegre has been fantastic, I genuinely look forward to every appointment I have! Betsy is an amazing hygienist, and Dr. Pisotti always makes me laugh. I always recommend this office to friends with anxiety about going to the dentist because everyone is truly so friendly. Their COVID practices seem good, I have been comfortable and felt safe going to my appointments throughout the pandemic. Updated review, I have truly never felt so advocated for by any medical professional. I receive orthodontic treatment from another provider (that is often very rushed). I asked Dr. Pisotti about my case and expressed some of my concerns, and he validated my concerns, offered to talk to the other provider with his input, and told me what he could do to resolve my issues if they cannot. Hearing that there are solutions was such a huge relief to me and I am so grateful to have a dentist that cares so much about his patients! I really cannot recommend this office enough. Alex is also amazing!!

Fantastic experience: I love that they will keep you posted if there are openings so you can get things take care of earlier. Staff was attentive and quick and you fill out the paperwork electronically so it's much faster to check in. It is a little on the higher price.

Negative experience: Answering the phone; Very rude over the phone. Person likes to talk over the customer. Very disappointing because this is the dental clinic I chose to fix my teeth. I have a dental issue for years and I’m trying to get help from a professional office. I’m very frustrated that I have to play control games over the phone. when I call to make an appointment it’s because there is an issue.

Fantastic experience: Good service at Alegre Dental. We have been coming to this location for over 8 years. The office is always clean, everyone is professional, kind, and accommodating. I definitely recommend this dental office to anyone needing a dental service.

Positive experience: Staff is very professional, courteous and helpful with tips. I don't feel the hygienist or Dr. recommend things/procedures frivolously - I believe their honest in their assessments. I was 40 minutes early (hoping to be see earlier of possible ), however, I wasn't seen till 5 minutes after my appointment time- at least you can say they stick to their schedule times as precisely as possible. Plus place is clean and they have complimentary tea and coffee for the chilly weather.

Positive experience: We have been patients at this office for ten years. Always in the past, measurement of periodontal pockets and examination by the dentist after the cleaning were part of the 6 month recall service. Neither of these took place this past recall for my husband. When we inquired, the front desk staff said the hygienist didn’t see any problems and my husband didn’t have any complaints so they didn’t call the dentist in to look. This didn’t sound right to me. The dentist was currently with another patient so we left. I will certainly inquire ahead at our next cleaning if we will be seen by the dentist as I believe he has a sight more expertise than any hygienist. This practice runs on time and is sparkling clean. Dr. Pissotti is friendly, straight forward and practical in his explanations of treatment options. When he is working inside one’s mouth he has a steady confident touch.

Negative experience: Before having a procedure done I signed a document prepared by Alegre on what I was to pay. I paid that the day of the procedure. Then they began to hassle me for more money saying their estimator had gotten wrong what the insurance would pay. I said that was their problem to resolve internally or with insurance. The harassment continues. Update: My wife decided to visit Alegre in spite of my experience. It was only after being treated did they tell her they had recently stopped accepting our insurance which resulted in them billing her for the entirety of the exam and cleaning! The office people simply do not care if you are financially harmed by their carelessness.

Positive experience: The dentist and his assistant were awesome!! The front desk not so much. Basically lied to me about using an email to take $100 off and they didn’t honor it

Fantastic experience: A crown fell off one afternoon and I called Alegre. They got me in the very next day, thoroughly checked the situation out and were able to cement the crown back on. As always, everyone is extremely professional and friendly.

Positive experience: Waited 30 minutes to be seen as no forms were sent that I could have filled out earlier. Ran out of time to get my teeth cleaned. Now I have to wait till 3\25 to get cleaning. As everywhere in ABQ, there are not enough doctors, technicians and staff to service patients. That said, I liked the dentist.

Negative experience: My visit to Alegre Dental was highly disappointing. The service provided fell significantly short of expectations. Dr. H's approach to my treatment left me deeply dissatisfied. The filling procedure was unsuccessful and resulted in trauma to my tooth, leading me to opt against further treatment at their facility and seek a root canal elsewhere. This experience was distressing and entirely avoidable. The lack of professionalism and the substandard quality of care during my visit were disheartening. The outdated equipment further compounded the issue, resulting in an overall regrettable experience at the dentist's office. Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend Alegre Dental.

Fantastic experience: Just a meet, but the entire staff was very helpful. I do have an appointment for October. Hopefully it will lead to a great experience. Well had some work done, everything was amazing.

Fantastic experience: I knew I needed dental work, as I haven’t been to a dentist in a few years after my wisdom teeth were pulled. And I knew I needed to be established with a dentist so I could continue to take care of my teeth. I came here for a cleaning in September. The staff are so nice!! The staff ensure you’re comfortable throughout the process and they are so friendly! I highly recommend Alegre Dental!!!
