They are friendly, on time, and both professionally excellent, and very reassuring to perform all procedures. In the seven years they have been my dentists I have had only excellent encounters with everyone.

Fantastic experience: The dental visit today 10/27/25 was for a regular cleaning. I love visiting this office for dental keep and that I know I will be taken care of full of heart, enthusiasms, and focus. Hiromi was my dental hygienist today and like I mentioned I will be taken under good hands if not the best. She definitely takes her time cleaning and felt the finesse using those dental instruments not to hurt. Thank you Hiromi. The front desk staffs greeted me with utmost welcome. Shannon as always was there to say hi and looked up for my appointment. While waiting to get in, I noticed a new fireplace look alike in the waiting room which was very fitting for the room coziness and so for the coming cold and wintry days. Dr. Criscione have been my dentist for the 27 years we have been living here and not a bit of him change - very friendly and funny! Laverne

Fantastic experience: I have never had a more enjoyable dental experience than I did at Criscione Family Dental. And I do not enjoy the dentist...AT ALL. Audrey was my dental hygienist for this visit and she was an absolute gem. It had been SEVERAL years since I last saw a dentist and I really felt at ease with her. I appreciated her candor, kindness and supreme professionalism. And what can I say about Dr. Mike? He's positively awesome! Not only does he have great chair side manner, seeing how he interacts and treats his staff creates such a comfortable and safe atmosphere. The ultimate judgement free zone. Norman though, was the highlight of an already great experience! He seems to love head scratches and belly rubs!

Negative experience: Disgusting. Don’t recommend this place to anyone who have not a super easy case. The Dr criscione after a consultation named us an unique case; then staff emailed me that he doesn’t want to work with us anymore. unprofessional and very inhumanly because he never explained us the reason of termination after we nicely discussed everything and agreed on some future work like crowns, fillings etc( nothing special). I kindly asked to explain doctor’s resolution because it’s very important to know professional opinion in order to clarify what we need to do next. But office staff explained that doctor is not obligated to explain me anything and you just have to go hit the bricks. I’ve never ever faced this kind of rude and heartless behavior. We consulted with another dentist (professor) and professor said that we’re not a unique case at all , pretty average situation like most of the people. And we work just fine now with that professor who is very kind, great human being and super knowledgeable and skilled. The more hipe the place has the less it cares for people. Pretty common situation nowadays Karma will get back to you…

Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Mike, his lovely assistant, Linda, and the very kind and compassionate Robin. I have no complaints. I have severe dental anxiety. Dr. Mike reassured me through the procedure I had and Linda was there encouraging me and I think she helped me to the car too. I honestly am a little foggy on that part. Robin was phenomenal too. She went slow and explained what she was doing when she was doing it. I’ve never felt more take care of by a dentist and his team. Shannon the office manager also worked to fit me in with my budget and schedule. Looking forward to bringing my husband and son here.

Fantastic experience: Stellar Dental Practice! From the moment you walk in the front door you are treated with courtesy and kindness. Kim was an excellent hygienist. She was thorough, gentle, informative and a pleasure to spend an hour with! After meeting Dr. Criscione, I can understand why he came highly recommended. He was welcoming and has a calming demeanor. I also appreciate the way in which he approached treatment for me. It was in a common sense manner which resonated with me. When leaving, my bill was explained to me and the options for making payment. I was happy to make payment for such outstanding care. I will be back!!

Fantastic experience: I was disappointed to find out my preferred Dentist was not available when I went for my cleaning. I would have preferred to have been told in advance that he would not be there and given the opportunity to reschedule when he was in. Now I will have to make another appointment for when he is in. This is very inconvenient. If life didn't have a few twists and turns it would be a boring life. In retrospect I feel my previous rating was based on my emotions at the time and not a fair judgment on my part to the care I receive at Criscione Family Dental and Linda showed that again this last weekend with a quick response to my call about a painful tooth. She called in a prescription and got me in first thing Monday morning. Thanks Yesterday I went in to Criscione Family Dentistry for my biannual cleaning which was done by my favorite dental hygienist Kim. As usual she was very personable and attentive to any concerns I had and did a great job cleaning my teeth. She found I had lost a small filling which was confirmed by Dr Mike when he did his thorough oral evaluation. Kim made an appointment for me in the near future to get my filling replaced. On the way out Linda recognized me and said hi then when I went to pay I was greeted with a warm smile by Shannon. All in all it was a good experience especially since it was a trip to the Dentist. Thank you Criscione Family Dentistry! Had another great 5 star experience at Criscione Family Dental today, Dr. Mike was awesome as usual as well as all of his staff. They make me feel like a friend rather than a patient. I highly recommend them and when you go there don't forget to say hi to Norman, he's the sweetest Golden Labrador!

Fantastic experience: Kim is one of the best hygienists ever. Brilliant care & helpful suggestions. Nene thought I'd say this, but I want to go to dentists just to have her care. Dr.Holly is very thoughtful & well informed. Great dental office. I think Hiromi was my hygienist. She was very thorough, caring, and pleasant. She took care of me instead of my scheduled preferred hygienist who was unexpectedly out on personal leave. All in all a pleasant experience. Dr. Purcell was also new to me, but wonderfully thorough and pleasant 2023: I gave my review yesterday via phone, seems not to post. Anyhoo Dr. Mike, Odi, shanon, and others I can't remember were BRILLIANT. Just a simple replacement of temporary filling, but went smoothly. Hands down the best dental office I've worked with. Hopefully this posts.. 6 mo cleaning was uneventful. Kim did her reliably exceptional pain-free cleaning. Dr. Garrett, new dentist was nice to meet. Shannon was helpful. Champion visit. 6 mo follow-up was with Raven. She was caring & had a sense of humor. She used a different technique that was brilliant & the full xray panel was accomplished in one felled swoop. Shows my age. Dr. Mike was great as usual. Norman (dog) kept me calm. 6mo f/u with kim as hygienist was brilliant as usual. She pointed me toward hot spots that i needed to work on during brushing, always valuable. Teeth feel great dr. Garrett & i shared valuable time. Many thanks to all.

Fantastic experience: Full disclosure, this is my old man’s practice, and I still do my best to avoid going to the dentist and doctor in general. I wouldn’t trust my mouth to anybody else, though. Veneers are still going strong 12+ years and look/feel as good as new. Highly recommend. Shoutout to Hiromi for her gentle, precision cleaning work as well!

Fantastic experience: Robin with the pretty purple hair (or Robyn), sorry, not sure how to spell her name, completely made my experience. She was kind and understanding of my sensory issues and did everything she could to avoid triggering that. Dr. Mike was very nice. Maya, who works at the front desk, was also very pleasant to work with. Paperwork was sent out quickly and handled quickly. They were able to get me in fast. Robyn didn’t make me feel rushed, and she was great at listening. Made me feel less nervous. My insurance will be changing soon, but I hope whatever plan I’m on next will allow me to come back. Nobody pushed me to do anything. I suggested I needed a new night guard and they’re having me bring it in to see if there is life left in the one I have before we decide to replace it. I’ve been to dental practices where it’s clear they’re mainly interested in milking people for every penny and recommend unnecessary procedures. This practice is not that way. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: My 5-year-old compared her dental office visit to Disneyland. It was almost as fun as the most magical place on earth. There is a dog named Norman. We all love Dr. Mike! This is the place to get your teeth cleaned. Adding a photo to show the VIP treatment our now 6-year-old gets. I also had a great cleaning with Kimberly. 11/10.

Fantastic experience: The receptionist Mia is always in such a cheerful mood with a perpetual smile. Kim does a thorough job cleaning my teeth and Dr Mike with his inspection. I was seen at precisely my 10:00 appointment time which I appreciated. My only suggestion would be to put some car magazines in the waiting area for clients to read. Last month when I brought my kid's and had to wait there wasn't anything interesting to read only old golf books. I would highly recommend Criscione Family Dental.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Criscione is amazing! I was having an issue where I was catching food in between two teeth after getting a filling, (he didn’t do the initial filling) he replaced it and I’m so thankful. He took the time and made sure it was fixed and it was instantly better.

I love that Dr Gerritz and the hygienists that I’ve had at this practice don’t make up fake things that need to be done. Yep! I’ve had 3 other well-known dentists in Lake Oswego make up “urgent” issues so they can make money. Criscione Family Dentistry has NOT done that. After seeing 4 other dentists in the area, I hope to stay with this practice a long time. Thanks!
