Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to Dental Care of Huntley for several years for routine cleanings, and the care has always been excellent. I recently had to have a root canal and then a crown, and the entire process was very smooth and comfortable. Dr Grant Pizzo explained everything very clearly and made sure I felt at ease the whole time. I had many questions I asked and he was patient and kind and took his time to answer everything. The office staff is professional and always welcoming. Highly recommend! Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Lee was absolutely wonderful. Since I'm blind I ask him to tell me whenever he was coming at me with something so I wouldn't be startled. He explained every little thing he was going to do. It made me much more relaxed and comfortable. His assistant Francesca was also very kind and gentle.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been to quite a few dental offices and I have to say this is the best office I’ve ever been to. All the staff are friendly and very proficient. I don’t mind going to the dentist every 6 months but I have to say I’m actually looking forward to my next appointment. Tina,the hygienist was head to toe thorough, efficient and as gentle as ever. Positive experience: I'm an otr truck driver with very bad teeth. So when I came in for truck repairs I took the time to start the process of getting some dental repairs as well. They used common sense to know i needed immediate attention and did an exam and 2 teeth extractions that same day to start the process of getting dentures and overall relief from pain, discomfort and infection. They got me in, fixed up and back out in time for me to pick up a load to head cross country. Now the prices are astronomicaly ridiculous and the needle was brutal but the dentist knew what he was doing, and was very informative on the option of the dentures I've decided to go with. I never really had a permanent dentist since my braces, but I am definitely calling this dentist my permanent one as long as I am based out of Elgin/Huntley Illinois. Oh and the dental techs and hygienist are cute, friendly, and patient with old rough neck babies like myself. I highly recommend this place.. ....

Fantastic experience: I was referred to this office after moving to Huntley and was extremely satisfied with the service. The dental hygienist, Asha, was excellent and definitely the best cleaning I've ever experienced. I met Dr. G. Pizzo during the visit who advised me of the health of my gums and teeth. He was very knowledgeable and patient. I have a f/u appointment with him next month. The staff was very nice and readily provided costs of services I was interested in and what my insurance would cover. Over all definitely 5 stars!

Fantastic experience: I was recently in 8/04/25 for an extraction of a tooth that cracked in half, it wasn't exactly an easy one but Dr Grant did an excellent job he was done in no time, absolutely pain-free. Followed his procedure for managing the pain afterwards, never had a single problem no pain no nothing excellent job. his assistant I don't remember her name "I'm sorry" but she also was excellent they make sure you are totally comfortable and totally understanding of the procedures. And Colleen one of the staff from the front helped me immediately, with some last minute questions about billing and insurance she was great also. Can't ask for a better Crew/Team of people thank you everybody, once again great job great team. Mark M.

Fantastic experience: Couldn’t say enough positive things about Dr.Grant Pizzo, have been seeing him for years. Always has an answer to my questions and is sure to give me clear communication. Influenced my parents and brother to join me at this office as well.

Positive experience: First time after being with my now retired dentist for 30 plus years. I have always been complimented about my oral hygiene in the past. I also felt the hygienist had to search for typical areas with a small build-up which is exactly why I get my teeth cleaned faithfully every 6 months, as my records that I sent over reflected. Is this practice owned by a corporation because I felt as though an effort was being made by the hygienist to obtain an up charge for a fluoride treatment and a “special” oral cancer test “to catch things early” for the best result. We have fluoride in our water. As my records state, I am not a smoker and I also knew the Dr. would check for that manually. To put it simply, I was disappointed by my first visit, have requested a different hygienist for my next appointment in 6 months with hopes of having a better experience. I was in the chair for almost 2 hours and my records had been sent ahead of my appointment.

Fantastic experience: Cindy is an excellent Hygienist. She is very friendly and does a great job cleaning my teeth. She goes above and beyond to accommodate according to my needs. I recommend her to any person.

Negative experience: Pretty disappointed. Staff was super nice but the dental work was sad. Had to go back in to get my crown replaced after just 2 days. They put it back in but left a gap so I am now dealing with an infection. I always try to give new doctors the benefit of the doubt, but youre better off finding someone with more experience.

Negative experience: This practice has become a well-oiled machine - Not in a good way. You feel like you are just another "item" going through a process. I was asked to come in early, yet I had to wait 15 minutes. Ashal, however, was pleasant and thorough.

Fantastic experience: This is my second time at Dental Care Huntley, and I absolutely love the office! The front desk staff is amazing — as soon as you walk in, you feel welcomed by four wonderful team members. Liz, the manager, is extremely knowledgeable and handles everything the right way. Everything is very organized, and the back staff is great! No words can describe the rock star doctors!

Fantastic experience: This office and staff are incredible! Patient, caring, personable, clear care plan and what procedure that are doing and how much it will cost. They were willing to work with me and set up a payment plan. Dr Pizzo let me know what he was doing and was excited to show off the office technology (and there is plenty). Only one complaint...it was an ice box in there! So cold! They did offer a blanket and pillow though. Keep up the good work Dental cate of Huntley! 5/18/22-I was asked to review again after my recent visit and everything remains top notch! Still 5 stars. 4/19/25- I had a chipped tooth repaired and after only 3 days it chipped again and I had to wait a month to get in to have it fixed. Repair #2 was done and I was told that they would fix it complimentary but the next repair is on me... Well, repair #2 lasted about a month and now I'm stuck with an ugly chipped front tooth. The last repair lasted at least 10 years so I am not sure why it is not taking. The office is so busy and I am wondering if it was just done too quickly?

Negative experience: IF YOU HAVE DELTA PPO DO NOT GO HERE!! They will tell you they are in network with delta but there is a difference between ppo and premiere and they switched to premiere provider without informing patients. My mother goes here and they didn’t tell her they switched they just say yes WE TAKE DELTA when you ask if they are in network. It’s a deceiving way to keep patients. Her insurance pays 100% with delta ppo and they made her pay 80% and told her it’s because “DELTA CHANGED THEIR COVERAGE TO 20%” that is a lie, the office changed their in network contract.

Fantastic experience: Took my son in for an issue with his front teeth after falling. Tina and Dr Jackson were amazing and very helpful! They got things done quick and easy and my son was very comfortable with both of them.

Negative experience: Dental Care of Huntley used to be my place for all my dental needs. I went when it was Dr. Wylde/Pizzo. One day in 2023 I went in for an appointment I realize the whole front end staff was different? To find out Dr. Tyler went into practice with his brother in Schaumburg. 2023... I decided to give the new ownership a try. I have extremely bad anxiety and tried to explain to the new staff and dental assistants. After given some bad news with my condition with my teeth (was told I needed all my bottom teeth extracted and need dentures)the assistant told me she would be right back with an estimate. I sat in a freezing room for 45 minutes with no updates and I was feeling very anxious so I went to the desk to ask what was going on. It was like a 3 ring circus and no one had done my preliminary estimate yet so I just left because my anxiety was getting worst. So to say the least, no one even bothered to call me after I left and didn't contact me period. I received several flyers saying to give them another chance in 2024.. Called the office to see if they took Devoted Health, Delta Dental and was told they were to busy to check and to call back .I did several times and each time they said they were too busy to check and would call me back, which they never did so I gave up. It's a shame because Dr. Pizzo is a wonderful Christian dentist.. So now it's 2025.. I called 2 times to see if they took Aetna Duly Prime and once again I got the run around.. they were too busy to check to see if they took my insurance? Was told to call Aetna and Aetna said to call the dentist? I asked the gal if I could speak to a Manager and she told me she was out of the office for a week.The very next day I called to I speak to a Manager and it was amazing because the Manager was there after being told the day before the manager was gone for a week???The not so nice gal who took my call the first 2 times forgot to put the phone on mute so I heard the not so nice conversation she had with the manager she was now transferring me to?? The person (manager) said she would check for me because they were slammed (very professional language) and it's been almost two weeks and no call back. It's a shame because I really wanted to come back to Dental of Hunley because Dr. Pizzo is a wonderful dentist. Too bad the front end staff doesn't make you feel welcome or want to bother to check if they take my insurance so I could make an appointment to see Dr.Pizzo. That is not good customer service.

Fantastic experience: Best dental office EVER! they are extremely friendly and they understand how nervous folks get. They make you so comfortable the moment you walk in the door. They have warm blankets, TV, music. Everything you need to feel comfortable. I like that they tell you everything they plan to do beforehand and while your in the chair. They explain things so that you understand everything. So happy we found this dental office. Have and will continue to refer friends and family.

The dentist was great I need some work done on my teeth and he made me feel like I was in good hands. 10 out of 10 recommend! Update 2023 Customer Service has fallen through the cracks. I tried to schedule my appoinment this morning with a young man named Jordan and was left on hold until the phone rang and rang and eventually hung up on me. Called back twice no answer. Price increased dramatically from 1st cleaning appointment to the next. From experience I can no longer recommend.

Doctor Tyler and his assistant Gabie as well as the rest of the staff they are friendly, kind and passionate about what they do !!!!

Fantastic experience: My son had to have a root canal done on a tooth that had broken pretty bad. We were told by our pediatric dentist that the tooth would need to extracted. Dr. Pizzo saved the tooth, and made my son who has autism very comfortable.

Everyone on your team are delightful to work with and the support that your team relies on is impressive. With all that said I continue to come to your office mainly because of Tina who is a wonderful hygienist and who personally has helped me make many changes to my dental hygiene to improve my overall health. Negative experience: I had pain in a molar/gum area. I needed an appt but no openings and a scheduler would call me. No call Friday or Saturday and of course closed on Sunday. Not happy. I called old dentist and they got me in right away. Finally late morning on Monday the scheduler called. I let her know that I would not be going back to their office. She told me they are not open on Saturday The website states Open on Saturday. To not call me back untill after the weekend says to me they don't care about their patients. This place was a convenient location. Sorry it didn't work out for me.

Positive experience: Dental care of Huntley is a terrific dental office! They are friendly, pleasant, welcoming, helpful and wonderfully efficient! My hygienist, Claudia, performs a thorough cleaning and communicates with the front desk when she is nearly done. Dr Pizzo stops in to check my teeth and mouth. We talk about what he suggests I need next. Claudia relays the information to Colleen at the front desk. Colleen then comes in to explain my care plan and the cost to me. Several payment options are available. If I decide to do something right away, Claudia schedules that appointment. Otherwise, I can call later to schedule. Claudia schedules my six month appointment also. I check out at the front desk and go on my way. The front desk staff (including Colleen and Bree), Claudia and Dr Pizzo are very skilled and professional. I am very happy with their exceptional customer service!

Fantastic experience: Both Dr. Grant's are awesome! All the dental assistants are wonderful, especially Cindy. They take the time to listen to you and find the best solutions to any issues you may have. Everyone is very friendly and kind, while also being professional. You can tell everyone there, including the people at the front desk, go above and beyond for you and genuinely care about you and your dental health. Very affordable as well and they will work with you if you need to set up payment plans. They also have free dental care days every so often so people with no insurance or very little income can get the dental work done that they need. I used to be so stressed out going to the dentist but that has completely changed since I've been coming here. I can't thank them enough!

Positive experience: Made an appointment, received confirmation of appointment. Then I made a future appointment for my next cleaning. I showed up on time for the current appointment and was told they cancelled it. This is not the first scheduling issue here. I advise to only make appointments in person, not online or on the phone. The dental staff is pretty good, I was not overly impressed with the dentist, but had limited contact in two visits. I left the office and told them to go ahead and cancel my next appointment. Missing this appointment cost me about $100 in antibodies I have to take before a dentist appointment. Plus the 5 days of discomfort caused by the antibiotics. I have made an appointment with another dentist. Thank you for your reply, however if as the "owner" you really wanted to talk you would have given your name and number.

Negative experience: If there was a way to rate 0 stars, Dental Care of Huntley would earn 0. My family have been going here for years. But ever since Dr. Tyler left, the office has really become shady and unethical. Staff are rude, new Dr. is very heavy handed and not PT friendly. Lack of transparency when it comes to your dental needs and true health care. Just a bunch of bait and switch and price gouging. After my wife had work done, not to our satisfaction and my wife has never been able to use the flipper that was made due to discomfort, we received a past due bill. When I called to enquire (1st call), person told me they had no record of any of my family being there lol. 2nd call, asked for billing manager to contact me. Waited 2 weeks, and had to call them back. 3rd call, spoke with associate who informed me that Dental Care of Huntley never actually reached out to Insurance to gain authorization for services and we were being billed for them. I informed this person that in 2022 a law got passed called "Good Faith Estimate" or GFE. It states that when any medical business gives an estimate, that estimate is valid for 30 days and can't be raised. Again, was told billing manager would call me back as the person I was speaking with didn't know anything. Waited another week without response back. 4th and last call. I again requested to speak with billing manager. Was told I was. Asked her to look up Good Faith Estimate law and that we would honor all amounts on that bill. But that if the practice didn't quote us correctly, that's not our fault. To say the least the staff is very ignorant when it comes to Medical billing and to the HIPPA guidelines and regulations. Sadly instead of coming to amend and paying what we owe, we will now go to court. My wife still doesn't have a flipper that she can actually wear. I would recommend seeing Dr. Tyler who is now in Schaumburg who is a great Dentist and actually cares about your Dental Hygiene and needs.

Fantastic experience: I was very nervous going in because I normally have bad experiences. Dental care of Huntley actually made me feel very comfortable and was able to take care of my issue without any pain. They explained everything in detail ahead of time of what they can do for my teeth issues and then took care of business. I was very happy with the whole process and will be more than happy to go back for any future needs.

Fantastic experience: I called Friday afternoon, with tooth pain and they scheduled me in to come in Monday mid afternoon and they created a temporary crown and bridge to stop pain. They are quick and efficient. The staff is kind and the dental assistants are amazing and well experienced. Dr. Pizzo has been treating my teeth for 8 years now and is very patient with me and all the issues I have.

Fantastic experience: Very friendly staff, always a quick response. The Dentist and assistants are so informative and take their time with you. Ana was so helpful, and patient with me. They never rush you, and they are always so gentle. Love this place. If I could give them 10 stars I would.

Negative experience: The reviews don't lie, folks, this office pushes additional services. In addition, they voluntarily downgraded our family insurance stating that their "corporate office" made the decision. It changed from 100% full preventative coverage to 60%. We, as a family, are serious about our dental hygiene. This voluntary insurance change (clearly to make more profits) was the deal-breaker. I give this dental office two stars because the dental hygienists are great, but, its a money grab approach like many medical/dental practices in this country (thanks for that insurance companies).

Negative experience: Since Dr. Tyler left to open his office in Schaumburg, without even a form letter to let his patients know, the office has gone downhill. They run out of supplies that their patients need and let you know when you will walk in the door. Also I had a filling repaired, I spent one day in the chair for 5 1/2 hours. Not pleasant.

Fantastic experience: Health care becomes a frequent topic with seniors and Dental Care of Huntley was given praise among many of my dear friends. A tree stands in the corner, topped with a happy face, dressed in stars and a “Home Sweet Home” sign. What a way to say AMERICA is the place to be and they have the excellence in staff to bring you home with a special touch of warmth and care in all they do to make your experience a place like no other.

Fantastic experience: I’m new to this office and the front desk ladies were so nice and helpfully explaining my ins info. Followed by a great cleaning with Cindy! I meet Dr. Jackson who was amazing! He explained all my dental info and created a plan for me and what to watch for, just an overall great first visit!

Dr. Jackson and staff made sure my needs were addressed and explained everything that was being done. The work I needed done was no picnic but bearable with their support. Negative experience: Very disappointed in my visit. Due to insurance changes and illness it had been almost a year since my last cleaning, after being there over an hour I was denied a cleaning because of gum disease and am now waiting for approval for deep cleaning. My former dentist gave me a regular cleaning and the deep cleaning. This has all been really frustrating.

Fantastic experience: My experience at Dental Care of Huntley has been exceptional. The environment is happy and inviting. The hygienists are kind and cheerful. After a few visits, it is easy to feel like you’re visiting family each time you go. My girls (elementary age) LOVE going to see the dentist! Both dentists are professional and informed. I never feel pressured to do more than necessary at our cleaning sessions. Charges are explained and receipts are always provided.

Fantastic experience: Hands down best dental facility i have been to! From the super friendly front desk, to the extremely knowledgable hygienist, and we cant forget the calming banter between the dental assistant and the dr. Over the moon about my experience here! Dr pizzo fixed a filling for me that 4 other dentists have tried to fix for me and failed. He made it look so natural and smooth! It was a front tooth and he ensured me hes got this. I was apprehensive due to 4 other doctors saying the same thing and not succeeding, but i am 100% happy with my smile now! Dr. Jackson Pizzo routinely checks for comfort level and explains each step of the procedure. His interactions with staff are highly respectful, demonstrating a team approach for quality care. Emma’s skill in creating a temporary crown is much appreciated…the best that I have ever had! Negative experience: I’ve never had a hygienist scrape and dig so deeply that I was in extreme pain and bleeding profusely. Even after I let her know of my extreme discomfort, she didn’t stop. She said she was trying to be more gentle, but by then the damage had been done.

Fantastic experience: This is the best dental practice I’ve ever experienced!! They are very compassionate and professional. They explain each procedure and why it’s important. Everyone is nice and easy to talk with when asking questions. They are very transparent with their charges and offer options to work with me and my insurance. The only thing that would make this practice better is a coat hook in room one!

Fantastic experience: I have high anxiety with the going to the dentist. Ann made my stay so delightful and cheerful and my anxiety went away for the most part. I was in so much pain and they did everything they could to assist with that. Very educational and made me aware and let me take my time. The doctor was calm polite and took his time. I will be coming back for future dental health. Highly recommend!!!!

Negative experience: I've been a client for a couple years now. The whole entire staff is friendly. I was happy until today. My first appointment they glued on a crown that had fallen off an implant. Very satisfied. I continue to be a client with more dental work. I called to make an appointment because another crown fell off a different implant. When I arrived they took an x-ray and when the dentist came in he informed me that he was going to temporarily glue it, until I can make an appointment with the original doctor who put the implant in. I don't know why they didn't tell me that on the phone, that they couldn't do it, even though they did the other one a year ago and it was fine. So I guess I'll go back to my old dentist have him fix it, and I guess stay with him again. I just thought your office could take care of all problems but I guess I was wrong.

Fantastic experience: Tina is the best there is! Wouldn’t go to anyone other than her for my teeth cleanings. She is the most compassionate, considerate and thorough hygienist. Everyone else there is pretty great too :) highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I saw Dr. Jackson Pizzo today. He is one of the absolutely nicest and caring dentist I have ever met. He wasn’t just that to me…I heard how he speaks to his hygienists and staff…he is exactly the same way which truly speaks to his character. I had Claudia as my hygienist and she was also wonderful! Very gentle, kind and considerate. Highly recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: A dislodged crown necessitated an immediate visit to the dentist. Picked Dental Care of Huntley from Google as we are new residents in the area. Was NOT disappointed. Excellent front desk personnel, the dental assistant was also excellent as was Dr. Jackson as he thoroughly explained what needed to be done. I feel confident that I have chosen the right place to restore my tooth.

Fantastic experience: I had a fantastic cleaning with Claudia today. Plus Dr. Grant Pizzo stopped by afterwards to look at my teeth and found some decay starting under my crown. He is going to fix it before it starts to cause too much damage under my crown. Dr. Pizzo is so meticulous when he examines your teeth. I’ve experienced nothing but excellent care since I started going to this practice. Everyone at Dental Care Of Huntley is so friendly and professional.
