Fantastic experience: Ideal Dental in Hope Mills text me this past week to remind me that I had a Nana appointment today August 7, 2025 at 10 AM. I called their office and confirmed the appointment. This morning Ideal Dental reminded me again via text that I had a dentist appointment at 10 AM. I got there just a few minutes before the appointment. Let them know. I was there Marcus the hygienist came out and advised me he was running a few minutes behind Annette someone would be able to get me in a minute. Stacy wanted a hygienist also came out got me brought me into the room. Got everything set up for the dental hygienist Marcus, who did my teeth cleaning and checked out all of my teeth and gums. Overall, I am 100% satisfied with Ideal Dental and I would recommend it to anybody who needs a dentist. They have some of the best services available. Again, Marcus, Stacy, and Lana at Ideal Dental you were great today

Negative experience: Was there for 2.5 hours and didn’t even complete my cleaning.wasnt even brought back until 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment time then sat in the room for another 30 before they did any exam. Then after the exam waited around for almost an hour for them to come back and tell me that they could do my cleaning today if I wait another hour then it would take an hour. Making my total visit 4.5 hours with only about 40 minute actually provider facing. They are disorganized and overbooked. Was assured that when I come back for my actual cleaning that there will be no wait time but we will see. I plan on promptly transferring to a different office as soon as they complete my cleaning.

Fantastic experience: This is my second visit, and the dental assistant Amber made me feel right at home and honestly like family. I’m normally very nervous at my dental visits, but not here people. The whole team is absolutely amazing. Don’t get me started on how sweet and caring Dr. Aviv is. She is hands down a rockstar. Very thorough at explaining the treatment I needed, and I felt she genuinely loves what she does. If anyone is in the market for a new dental office that makes you feel like family, don’t walk RUN to ideal dental. 10 out of 10 period

She is so patient, kind, and informative and overall you can tell she really enjoys what she does. She made the process a lot easier for me! Negative experience: My child had a dental appointment with them. The waiting time is insane. Our appointment was at 9:30 and we didn’t get seen till 10:20ish. Only had a 10 min interaction with the assistant then almost a whole other hr to see the dentist, which I had to ask for. This is our first time interaction and unfortunately I’ll be finding another family dentistry.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Aviv has treated me a few times. Today she did my first extraction and it was a pleasant experience even with my dental anxiety. Myesha was the assistant and she was absolutely so kind and wonderful. I highly recommend this practice for those who need that extra comfort during procedures. Also they always enjoy my daughter coming (she’s only 2). So accommodating and welcoming as a whole. Front desk staff is also extremely wonderful and a pleasure to speak with.

Fantastic experience: Son (7yo) had to get some sugar teeth taken care of and Myesha made the experience super easy. She was talking to him and made the experience enjoyable for him. Dr. Aviv was quick and tailored the treatment/appointment to what was best for him, loved that. My 1yo also came in for his 1st appointment and the staff was great with him!

Fantastic experience: Awesome business. I called for an emergency appointment and was seen tge same day. My issue was resolved and tge dentist and staff was wonderful. I was very surprised as a new patient hiw everything was expedited. My appointment forvthe next day was for 1pm they called me at 11am to ket me know I could come in earlier because I had a 2pm appointment somewhere else .John was very kind and professional..

Negative experience: Update: I spoke with the dentist on Saturday 8/16/25 regarding my experience. Although she did clarify certain things, the rest felt like damage control and excuses. My entire time in the chair for my fillings and extractions they were so busy worrying about whether they corrected things with another patient to ensure that they didn’t receive a negative review. They were so wrapped up in that conversation that they neglected to think of the patient they had in the chair at that moment. They get two stars because the dentist was awesome and even followed up with a phone call after my wisdom tooth extraction. The rest was less than pleasant. When I went for my initial appointment, the hygienist told me that for my type of cleaning they’d use a gel to numb me a bit before starting. I was quoted $50 less than I actually paid for everything I was getting done. I initially set my appointment for 8/16. They called me 8/13 to let me know there wouldn’t be a hygienist in the office that day so I’d have to be rescheduled. After trying to get me scheduled for 9/05 and I told that was too far away, they got me in on 9/14. When I got there, the receptionist only quoted me for my cleaning, not my fillings & wisdom tooth extraction. Once those were added on there, she was giving me a total $100 more than what I was initially quoted. When I started to question it she got visibly frustrated and asked the other receptionist to help me. That’s when it was brought down to $50 more than initially quoted. When I questioned it, she said the codes were changed company-wide and essentially, it is what it is. I was already annoyed and anxious so I let it go and paid. My hygienist was nice enough, but used none of the numbing gel that the initial hygienist told me about so my cleaning HURT. By the time I was numbed for my fillings and extractions, I had pain in my jaw from the injection site. The dentist suggested a bite block. Cool, I was willing to give it a shot. Couldn’t open my mouth wide enough for that one. The dentist suggested that her assistant get a smaller one. Did she? Of course not, she asked me to open wider although I said I couldn’t and just shoved it back there. Numb it not, you can still feel certain things. Overall, the staff needs to do better with customer service.
