Fantastic experience: Incredible experience! I was concerned my sinus infection was tooth related but it wasn't. I got exam & xrays for an amazing affordable price. Thank God for this office and staff seeing me same day!

Fantastic experience: I visited STL Urgent Dental (South County) experiencing a lot of pain due to a split molar. Dr. Artis and his assistant Alina were so very professional from beginning to the end. Alina asked what questions do I have with sincerity, Dr. Artis answered questions that had about the actual procedure. Both Dr. Artis and Alina were a real team and displayed their teamwork work while performing the extraction. After explaining the procedure and the out of pocket expense that I would be responsible for, I explained what I was able to do financially at the time. Dr. Artis requested a few different ideas and options to get me fixed up and stay within my budget. After all avenues were reviewed, Dr. Artis helped me in a tremendous manner and helped me to become free of pain even with my limited financial state. I am so very Grateful to Dr. Artis, Alina and St. Louis Urgent Dental. Thank you!!!!!

Fantastic experience: Had a mess of a tooth and a dental appt 3 weeks away. I got desperate and started looking around. I didn't even know that Urgent dental care was a thing. Had an appt the next day, and my tooth was out within 20 minutes of showing up. The day after I'm doing great and I'm glad the issue is done and I don't have to think about it anymore. Thank God. The dentist and staff are professional and know what they are doing.

Fantastic experience: The dentist was very gentle. I didn't feel a thing. The staff were very nice. The professionalism though was not the best. Sitting in waiting room you can hear the staff talking and cursing alot. You arrive early and instead of getting u in a room they chat and wait till after your schedule time then get you going. I have been in medical field for a long time and I know you should not speak like that while patients are in the vicinity, when everything is ready don't make them wait, get your stuff done with the patient, and then they sit in the chair . That's better than waiting to start after the appointment time then they wait even more and get frustrated. If you want patients to arrive early it should be expected to start the visit at the scheduled time not 15 mins later.

Fantastic experience: Saw Dr. Caroline Stark about a broken crown that was poking me. I have a lot of dental issues I’m embarrassed about. She was kind, non-judgmental, and very quickly filed down the sharp edges without causing any pain. Hygienist and support staff were friendly and helpful. Maybe my best ever experience going to any dentist.

Fantastic experience: As with many people, I have horrible dental anxiety and am a complete worrywart. I went in because I thought my tooth had chipped and since I had not been to a dentist in years my mind was racing and I thought this was my best bet. I felt so embarrassed to find that the tooth was perfectly intact and I just needed a regular cleaning, however, the staff did not make me feel as though I had wasted anyone’s time. Victoria was especially helpful in calming my nerves and giving me recommendations for nearby dentists. Just based off my brief time with them I can tell they are committed to providing a comfortable and welcoming experience.

Fantastic experience: Iv been to these guys twice now. I definitely recommend coming here. The staff is so nice and vary professionally. I had scheduled a appointment at another office & they wanted to send me home with antibiotics. So I called these guys the same day and got it done in half the time I was waiting at the other office. Iv grown a big fear towards needles and being but on the table. The staff there eased my anxiety. Thank you guys so much!

Negative experience: Every visit my man has made there, there has been a 3 to 4 hour process. Don't seem professional making everyone's appts at the same time. It's been awful.

Fantastic experience: 0/10 do NOT recommend having an abscess. 10/10 recommend seeking emergency help from Dr. Artis And his assistant, Sky. I have a significant aversion to the dentist from past dental trauma, but this duo used humor, karaoke, and compassion to help me through my extraction. He listened to my concerns and took them seriously, she held my hand while I squirmed at the shots, they both reminded me to breathe (and waited out my panic attack), and walked me through every step with patience. The relief was instant and I wish that I had learned about St. Louis Urgent Dental sooner. You have my sincere gratitude for a job well done.

Fantastic experience: 100000% recommend them. I was having non stop tooth pain after breaking it on a butterscotch candy. Stay clear of those candies. But since it was my very back tooth, and no insurance, I decided to just have it pulled. They were soooooo great with me. Even though I wanted the tooth gone, it didn't want to come out. They kept checking to make sure I was ok. At one point I started feeling pain and they numbed me again. I was sweating so bad from adrenaline, the tech even blew some air on me to help cool me off. There was a high chance the tooth was going to break into pieces when getting pulled. She took her time, made sure I was comfortable and got the tooth and roots all in one piece. They made sure I was 100% ok before I left. Went over thorough instructions of aftercare. Also reassured me if there's issues, to come back and they'll take a look at no cost. I told them so many times how much I appreciated them. I wish I could give more than 5 stars for them!

They also give you all of the alternative routes you can take for your oral care and let you choose which ever fits your needs and wants best! Fantastic experience: Everyone was so kind! I had a front cap fall out and I was freaking out. I also have a small mouth so I know w it’s hard to work in there. They got me in same day and made a temp (shade matches beautifully).

Negative experience: This place is beyond disrespectful. The staff has no care or concern for patients at all they’re cold, dismissive, and act like you’re a bother for even showing up. They told me to pay everything upfront and said my insurance would reimburse me, even though they’re out of network. That was a lie my insurance said no reimbursement is possible. They wouldn’t even file the claim, just told me to do it myself. On top of that, my teeth are worse now than before I went in. They rushed through everything and clearly didn’t care about the outcome. It’s all about money for them, not helping people. I regret ever going there.

Negative experience: This dental office is an absolute scam. The staff is rude, unprofessional, and clearly only care about money not patient care. They rush you in and out with zero respect, and they make you sign paperwork that basically says they’re not responsible for anything that goes wrong. What kind of medical provider refuses to take accountability? It’s shady and dangerous. They overcharge, won’t explain the costs, and get nasty when you ask questions. The whole experience felt like a trap cold, disrespectful, and dishonest. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere that actually values patients and stands behind their work.

Negative experience: Charged me triple what other dentists charge. Dentist was extremely inexperienced and injured my gum during cleaning. Didn't bill my insurance for services. Continues to send me bills for "professional courtesy". This place is a total scam. Reporting them to the dental board.

Negative experience: The staff here seems nice at first but once you get into a little hassle with them thats when the true colors show up. They are very disrespectful and unprofessional. I will never go back and i wouldnt recommend them to anyone. Find somewhere else or you will pay in the long run.

Fantastic experience: I wish that I could remember the name of the hygienist because she was absolutely amazing! I am quite fearful of going to the dentist but she & Dr. Artis were so nice, compassionate & knowledgeable. They made what is a nightmare for me as pleasant as possible.

Positive experience: Ive only ever had 1 issue with a doctor in this building (she can get irritated with me quick) but everyone else in the building is fantastic. Maze is one of my new top favorite people ive met in there. Very fast, super friendly and kind people. Would recommend to anyone

Negative experience: They said they could do an emergency extraction. They took xrays and mad me pay $110 just for them to tell me to come back for the tooth extraction lady. I live far away and it was a waste of my time and money that I don't have to blow on nothing. I'm extremely unhappy as it seems like a money sucking scam.

Fantastic experience: I had the worst dental anxiety and was having some nerve pain because of a cracked tooth. I walked in and Skye took me back and I just started sobbing to her about the pain and the anxiety. She helped my anxiety so much and continued to comfort me throughout the appointment. I cannot remember the dentists name but he was also so comforting and soothing. He was so gentle with my tooth extraction that I called him a liar because I couldn't believe it was out that quickly with no pain. If I could have this team to do all my dental work, I think my dental anxiety would be gone! It is so nice that a place like this exists for those of us without insurance.

Fantastic experience: I went to STL Urgent dental for tooth pain. Dr.Emara had them do a panoramic X-ray ( something my regular dentist did not do the day before) and was able to diagnose an infection. He was prudent enough to tell me it was a complex extraction and I needed an oral surgeon. As much as I wanted the tooth removed then I appreciate his honesty and concern for my overall well being. My dental assistant Maria was exceptional and went above and beyond to help me. I hope I never need their services again but would not hesitate to go back if I did.

Fantastic experience: So no one except Bill Murry in lil shop of horrors likes the dentist. I would say I have a phobia of dentistry which led to my visit to StL Urgent Dental. THEY ARE AMAZING! From calling to schedule, which I don't clearly remember due to the pain, to the check in, and the procedure it was the best experience of one of my greatest fears. The staff were helpful, polite, and understanding. The facility was clean and even the music was soothing and happy. I cannot recall any names of those who were working, but they all went above and beyond to turn what I would describe as a nightmare into a great experience....so to say( considering the situation) I want to thank everyone at this office for making this visit non traumatizing. I mean it from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU!

Fantastic experience: Got me in same day ( within 2 hours of call) for an emergency extraction. I am a handful in the seat and from my initial phone call to visit was handled with care and accommodation. They got a tooth out that has been a problem for 5+ years and with minimal/no issues! Nothing but good to say about everyone involved!

Fantastic experience: Maze and Dr. Green were fantastic. My extraction was not traditional and required extra time to make sure it was done safely with my other teeth in mind. Thankfully between the two I was in great hands and would highly recommend them.

Negative experience: While I previously rated this location a 5, I have to revise my review after seeing my regular dentist for my 6 month cleaning. I was seen at Stl Urgent Dental for a broken filling. He let me know the filling performed here has to be taken out and redone due to poor work quality. The filling is jagged, leaving me unable to floss and the dentist only patched the filling instead of properly removing the entire broken filling and replacing. Very disappointed and do not recommend this location. I now have to pay again for something that wasn't done right the first time.

Positive experience: Great service. Doc answered all my questions and no wait when I got there for my appointment. Open 7 days a week. Brilliant idea for anyone in pain. There’s nothing worse ! Would have been 5 stars but they didn’t take my insurance even though it was on the list when I made my appointment.

Fantastic experience: There is nothing I hate more than going to the dentist. I ignored a toothache until I physically couldn’t take the pain anymore. The staff here got me in same day and everyone was so kind. They answered my endless anxiety fueled questions without judgement. The procedure was painless and I was in and out within 35 minutes. If I ever need asap dental work again, I will be coming back.

Fantastic experience: Had tooth pain and needed an emergency wisdom tooth removal. I was in their office within a few short hours of calling, they understood I was afraid of the dentist and made everything VERY comfortable! My wisdom tooth was out without any pain within 3-5 minutes and overall I was out the door only being there 35-40 minutes total! Amazing work and I will be back to have my other wisdom teeth removed in the future!

Fantastic experience: Got me in the same day. I have a such a fear when going to the dentist. I was fearful that he wouldn't get me numb enough. He did an amazing job pulling 2 teeth and I didn't feel anything. I told him that if he was my regular dentist then I'd probably not be in the situation I am in with my teeth.

Negative experience: Didn't accept my insurance in person after accepting it online, so had to pay out of pocket. They didnt consider my current medications and prescribed pain meds that I cannot take in conjunction. Forced me give 1 starr to post my review otherwise I would have given none.

Made sure I was okay and then if I needed anything to let them know. .The dentist was very positive and listen to what I needed and wanted for myself and my tooth. He helped me get through the process of numing. And taking out my tooth, he was swift and quick as well. 10/10 highly recommend and will go back for future dental work.

Fantastic experience: Everyone was very concerned about my comfort/pain control. They were great! I felt heard and the extraction only took about 10 minutes (I've had longer!!) I would recommend them highly! Only drawback was they don't offer Nitrous or IV Sedation.☹️

Fantastic experience: First time using an emergency dentist. Was able to book online for a same appt on a Saturday. They were running behind so I did have to wait a bit but everyone was so nice and helpful. I just needed an X-ray and exam to confirm no infection so I was in and out.

Fantastic experience: Booked an appointment for a bad infection. While there the staff was very friendly and nonjudgmental. The work that they did was quick and comfortable. Nearly 24 hours after and any pain around the site is minimal even without medication (including ibuprofen etc). I hope no one requires emergency service but if you do this is the place to go.

Fantastic experience: I'd like to give STL Urgent Care Dental South County some positive feedback! I was in severe pain from an impacted wisdom tooth. I made an appointment and was seen the following day for an x-ray and assessment. They prescribed me antibiotics to kill the infection prior to my extraction, which was a big relief. Everyone was very friendly and professional- from the receptionist, to the assistants, to Dr. Johnson who did my extraction. Dr. Johnson was very nice, gentle, and quick with her work- making sure I was properly numb and comfortable. Part of an old filling fell out during the extraction, and Dr. Johnson gave me a new one right there at no extra charge. Now I see why they call her the "wisdom tooth warrior " there- the whole process only took about 30 minutes from start to finish. The prices there are reasonable, and if you're in pain and need work done soon I would highly recommend STL Urgent Dental South County! Thank you so much Dr. Johnson, I really appreciate your great work!

Fantastic experience: JODI JOHNSON & BRI are heaven sent. I had a wisdom tooth that was IN. Causing so much pain in my mouth, I went here a Saturday before Christmas and they recommended me to wait for Dr. Johnson, SO GLAD I DID. She and Bri were the best, I was TERRIFIED and they were so reassuring, and calming, Even the “pressure” they were taking about I didn’t even feel. I wanted to hug them when it was all over. day two and my jaw is just sore. I would recommend this place over and over. THANK YOU. And Bri the dental assistant just deserves some more praise because sitting there waiting for my mouth to be numbed, just talking to her like I had known her my whole life was so comforting. This place is blessed to have her!

Negative experience: Good luck! They tried to pull my broken tooth and tried to numb me but it wasn’t enuf I had to stop her quite a few times because I could feel it being drilled on and pulled. Definitely the worst experience I’ve had and couldn’t even get a pain medicine even thou she bruised my face because she had to pull so had to try and get the pieces out..NEVER AGAIN!

Negative experience: I went in because my tooth really hurt. I had a cavity that was scheduled to ge filled by my regular dentist but because of the pain I could not wait any longer. I walked out of this place with just pain meds and nothing filled. I've been here before and have had great service where I walked out much better than when I walked in. Today was not the case. Very disappointed

Fantastic experience: With the last visit and current visit today I had the pleasure of having Mazi help me during my appointments. I couldn’t have been in better hands and I appreciate that more than known. With having sever dental anxiety it hard enough to get through the appointments and Mazi makes sure you are comfortable and constantly makes sure you don’t need anything. Destiny is amazing at the front desk! These ladies have made each visit wonderful and I will definitely be continuing using STL dental because of my experience. My last few times before meeting them wasn’t the best, so I’m super thankful!

Fantastic experience: I had my tooth extracted today and it was so fast and I did not feel anything at all. The doctors and staffs are all so friendly and polite.

Positive experience: They did a great job on my teeth but they were running a little behind on appointment times. Overall was a good experience and would go back.

Fantastic experience: My husband went in because he clearly knew his teeth are bad and infected. He's very scared of the dentist and has a low pain tolerance. We had a great experience with Dr. Johnson and assistant Rish. They got an itemized list for us, explained everything they would be doing, and were very good with him. He needs more work done and we will definitely be going back. And I failed to actually book him and the receptionist were like lovely and helped him get seen. Update: just went in myself. I saw a different Dentist and assistant and they were both lovely too. Dr Garrett and I didn't catch the assistant's name. He sang along to the music playing in the speaker and it distracted me from getting my first extraction. And the assistant was so funny and friendly. Amazing this place is a gem.
