Fantastic experience: In my 60+ years on this planet, I have never been more impressed by a medical practice of any kind. The profesionals at Arvada Dental Excellence truly CARE about their patients, and it shows in every aspect of their practice. From the warm and welcoming service you'll receive from the ladies at the front desk to the gentle and nurturing cleanings you'll get from their hygentists, to the extraordinary results that I've personally experienced from all three of their dentists (Ganong, Kammer, and Norton) and a remarkable dental assistant named Dawn, this is how dentistry is supposed to be in America. Want a better smile and a pain free pleasurable dental experience, head to north Arvada and give Arvada Dental Excellence a try!

Negative experience: I came in because I needed a tooth extracted. The fiance person talked through pricing and told me my insurance doesnt cover implants (which she said was pretty normal). She then started to sell me in their $6,500 package deal and gave me a breakdown showing that even if my insurance would cover implants it would still be $7,500, so the package deal was really a good offer. I went to another office to get a second opinion and a sense of pricing. I told the other office I understood my insurance did not cover implants and the finace person said that my insurance did cover 30% of the cost of an implant and wasn't sure why anyone would tell me otherwise. I actually went to a third office that also verified implants were covered at 30% under my plan. Arvada Dental Excellence was recommended by a friend who had a very positive experience, and their other reviews make me wonder if my experience was a one off, but their finance representative said multiple times I had no implant coverage, which just seems very strange in hindsight. I had the procedure done at another office.

Positive experience: I'm disappointed with the availability of Dr Gangon. He's only in office 3 days a week. I had to reschedule an appointment and was pushed back over 5 weeks. Additionally, I've had a couple instances where my appointments had to be pushed back due to Dr Gangon being on vacation. I think this practice could benefit from having an additional Dr to fill the gaps in availability and prevent the schedule from backlogging so heavily.

He took time to walk me through my Invisalign ClinCheck, showing a detailed 3D plan of how my teeth will move and making sure we were on the same page about my final smile. I truly appreciated his transparency. This level of care and communication gave me confidence in my treatment—I know I’m in excellent hands.

Negative experience: I would not recommend this practice for Invisalign. They pushed it a LOT, and since I started the process last January, I feel like my appointments have been seen as an inconvenience. I think Dr. Ganong spent less than a minute in the room during my first 2 check-ins and the concerns I raised were ignored or treated dismissively. I was not given important information when I started, even as basic as how to clean the aligners!!! I finally complained in order to get attention paid to concerns, and he did not respond well, calling me rude and "combative against treatment." Sorry if it's hard to be extremely cheerful when I've not been heard for months and my treatment is taking longer and longer, and the information I'm given is very brief and unimformative. He even complained about me refusing processes that were never presented and weren't mentioned AT ALL during my initial set of aligners. That caught me off guard and seemed unprofessional. However, it seems like complaining worked because he finally seems to be paying attention to what I've been saying amd will discuss further changes with me before ordering new trays. Medical professionals should treat patients with respect, not ignore them, or undermine them, and actually spend time at scheduled appointments to answer questions, instead of making it seem like questions are not allowed. I'm hopeful that this process can wrap up quickly so I can find a new dentist who won't ignore my concerns for months and then treat me like a problem.

Fantastic experience: These highly trained and competent people are always wonderful. 18 June 2025. Within the last two months I had a superior hygienist, an old old crown come off, and an ancient filling break. Each time there was a very short time constraint, and in both cases, they found me a next day appointment and took care of me. I'm here to tell you that I got a perfect result and the very best care. Not the least of which was the warmth and friendliness of the staff. I hesitate to tempt the Fates, but it was actually fun to go to the ( formerly dreaded) dentist!!!

Positive experience: The staff here is friendly, but I couldn't help feeling like they were always in a hurry to get me out the door. During my final evaluation for my Invisalign treatment, I expressed some concern about the outcome of a couple of my teeth, but I was assured they were straight, they quickly scanned my mouth for a retainer, and I was sent out the door. Now, I clearly have a lower tooth that isn't straight which is visible in the retainer print. Again, the staff here was very friendly, but unfortunately I didn't feel like I was given adequate attention. For those of you getting Invisalign, insist on more time to look at your teeth in the mirror before signing the document indicating all services have been rendered. Because of my mistake, I'll unfortunately be seeking, and paying for, services from another orthodontist.

Fantastic experience: Arvada Dental Excellence was recommended to me by a friend. I just finished my 2nd appointment with a cleaning, check-up and crown replacement. It was easy to schedule with them - front office staff was very pleasant and professional to deal with - LIa did a great job with my cleaning plus clearly explained x-rays and pictures of my teeth. Dr. Kammer replaced an old crown with great care. Strongly recommend scheduling with them.

Fantastic experience: My initial visit was great. I called this morning (8/30/23) and was offered a 1:00 appointment. First impression is amazing. The staff members were very friendly and helpful. I believe that I have found my forever dentist. I have had many years experience in the just about every medical discipline, including 15+ years in a university based dental school. With that said, I have never dealt with a more competent dental practice; I have been seen by several dentists over the past 10+ years, including many specialists. Not one of them was able to gain my confidence like Arvada Dental Excellence. My second visit was today, 9/19/23. Once again, the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, including Dr. Ganong. I have been searching for a dentist who could handle my unique dental situation and have been to several dentists and specialists for what seems like an eternity and I have found him. Not only is he able to manage everything in his office, he and his staff are extremely competent and capable. Dr. Ganong and his staff are phenomenal. My third visit was today, 9/27/23. Dr. Ganong removed a failing implant, I have been searching for years for a dentist or oral surgeon to remove it. In hindsight, I wish that I found this practice years ago. I have never had a more positive experience with any medical field professional. I will need to continue with the treatment plan I agreed upon, however, I have complete confidence with Jason and his amazing staff.

He has a gentle presence that immediately put me at ease, and it was clear he truly cares about his patients’ comfort as well as their dental health. Stephanie, the hygienist, was just as wonderful. It’s not often you find people who are not only excellent at what they do but also go out of their way to treat you with such empathy. I was also very impressed to receive a handwritten thank you note after my visit, simply for choosing their practice. It was such a thoughtful touch and really speaks to the level of care and personal attention they give their patients. This team made what could have been a stressful experience into something genuinely positive. I’m so thankful I found this office, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone—especially those who feel nervous about going to the dentist. You’ll be in truly caring hands.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Ganong and all his staff have always been a great and friendly group. They do a wonderful job of making you comfortable and their work is the best I've had. I've been going to them for cleanings and dental work since they started here in Arvada. Their new location is convenient with easy parking and the office is very nice.

Fantastic experience: This is one of those occasions where you realize perhaps you past dentist is not all you thought he/she was. I had the most comprehensive cleaning I can remember and the exam exposed issues that were shocking but verified. We'll see what the 2nd 6 month cleaning and exam produces. Ronald Reagan would say, "Trust but verify."

Fantastic experience: I made an appointment with Arvada Dental Excellence today. I am on my 11th tray and the last three trays 9,10, and 11 are not connecting with my teeth correctly. There was one particular area, where the dots weren’t really connected properly. I have to wait until my next appointment which is in a week to have another Impression taken for new trays. Not sure how this happened or if it’s something unusual, but I could feel that something wasn’t right and I felt an air Pocket somewhere in that area. I won’t be leaving a review at this time since I’m not sure how the outcome will be. I’ve done everything correctly as far as hygiene and trying to keep the trays on for the time they allotted me. My only concern is that I don’t want to pay out of pocket for another impression to be made. Im counting on Arvada Dental to remedy the situation and that the outcome will be what I am expecting. In the meantime, I will leave a one star. Hopefully later, I will be leaving a five star review.

I was very impressed with the latest high tech equipment, which made the visit easier and more comfortable. Overall, just an excellent experience. Negative experience: I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Arvada Dental Excellence due to their unethical billing practices and lack of accountability. Over a year after I received all services and my bill in full and received a “Paid in Full” receipt, I was suddenly contacted and told that my insurance had not covered a portion of the bill, and I now owed an additional $2,000. When I attempted to resolve the issue, I was met with unhelpful responses and was told there was nothing they could do—even though I had proof of full payment. Instead of working with me to clarify or correct their mistake, they sent the debt to collections, damaging my credit and putting me in a stressful financial situation. I told them I would never had agreed to the services if I knew they were now out of pocket when initially gave me an out of pocket difference that was $2000 less. This kind of practice is unacceptable and concerning for any patient. If you receive treatment here, I strongly advise keeping detailed records of every transaction and confirming with your insurance provider independently. A “Paid in Full” receipt should mean exactly that—yet this office does not honor their own documentation. Consumers should be aware that even after making full payments, they may be blindsided by unexpected charges years later. If you value transparency and fair treatment, I would recommend looking elsewhere for your dental care.

Fantastic experience: Good service and professionalism...happy with the crown the Dr installed in the past. He has done 2 each and they are awesome. And fast two cause they can make the crowns in the office. Also on 2.2.24 I walked into the office and Dr Ganong was not working but was doing paperwork. I had the worst tooth ache of my life and he dropped everything he was doing and treated me with a laser and medications. Best service I have ever had from any Doctor. He gave me his personal cell and said call me if it swells up. well he was spot on cause by 5pm the spot that had been treated by the laser felt way better, but there was the start of an abscess in a totally different spot. He ordered me antibiotics on a Friday night. Then on Sunday it was way worse. So I called him and he said, I want to see you. So I went into his office on a Sunday and he fixed the abscess. What great service and professionalism. Have had two follow ups with Dr Ganong and deep cleaning and all is well. Thank God for good service...ended up being a broken tooth. Thank goodness Dr Ganong was able to find the root cause of problem. No pun intended. A few days later the Dr removed the tooth and it seems to be healing well.last visit 2.3.25 good cleaning. 2.10.25 filled a cavity and it didn't even hurt. Very professional and nice people.

Negative experience: Changing review from 5 to 2. I was a patient for close to 10 years and my wife and I both went through major dental reconstruction and was very happy with service. That was the "OLD" Arvada Dental Excellence. While the new office is nice, I've personally gone through a terrible experience with them dropping my insurance and not informing me while letting me and my family rack up visit after visit. They also went through a "new system" change and were charging me out of network while we were still in network. I had to get them and my insurance on a call because the office was unwilling to do so themselves and threatening to send me to collections if I didn't pay. I miss the old staff.

Fantastic experience: We recently moved to Arvada from Oregon where we had a 40 year relationship with a Portland dental office. By chance we found Arvada Dental Excellence. This is a well-run office. The front office is solid and the hygienist (Sydney) exceptional. Then Dr Kammer provided super dentistry; obviously Dr Kammer is exceptionally well trained and experienced. The new imaging software they use is the latest and greatest. They created a perfect crown digitally…..in a single visit. No more trial and error. Perfect, the first time. Cutting edge. These folks know their business. My only complaint is that their office music is 1960’s rock & roll. How about a little classic country such as Willie Nelson???

Negative experience: Loved the Hygienist Sam very much. But always felt like they were salesing me rather than helping me fix my teeth. pushing expensive procedures rather than fixing the holes and cavities and doing the simple procedures instead of new caps, and whitening and other high end procedures.

Fantastic experience: After my dentist retired, I’ve tried multiple other local dentists with horrible results — until today. This office is WONDERFUL! Nicest people, AMAZING hygienist, good dentist (only meet briefly as it was a standard cleaning), great technology/facility. So happy I finally found my new home for dental work/cleaning. Moving my entire family here.

Fantastic experience: Yesterday Dr Kammer (and crew), a new dentist for me, removed an old crown, eliminated a cavity and installed a new crown in less than 2 hours. They answered all my questions and did an excellant job. Gabby explained the costs, ran my card and I was out the door quickly. Beautiful office, brand new equipment and highly trained staff.

Fantastic experience: As always-couldn't be better! Dr. Ganong and Dr. Zach and their"work family" are the best experience I have ever had in dentistry. I highly recommend them for their excellent dental work and their professionalism. Everyone is so kind and attentive- they make you feel right at home. I recently lost my beloved dog Willoughby- I was crushed. Gabrielle found one of my favorite pictures of him on Facebook and had it made into a throw for me. Fantastic experience: Everyone was very friendly and kind. I didn’t have to wait to be seen. The hygenist was very gentle. She and the dentist were knowledgeable and answered all my questions. It was actually an enjoyable experience!

Fantastic experience: Went into Arvada Dental Excellence to replace a crown that fell out (crown was placed by a different dentist, not this one). The office staff was super friendly as were the hygienists and Dr. Kammer. They made sure that I was completely numb before starting the procedure and they did a great job on the replacement! The office itself is very nice as well. I have signed up to become a new patient - a testament to really having a good experience despite the reason I was in there in the first place.

Fantastic experience: I had a really awesome experience here! The reception area was clean, the music they played throughout the office was great and the staff at the front desk were all very friendly and helpful. I had my cleaning done by Lia and she was awesome! She was super friendly and told me everything she was about to do before she did it. She warned me when things might feel uncomfortable and told me to signal to her if anything hurt too much. Honestly the overall cleaning experience was surprisingly relaxing! Thanks again, Lia! I've definitely felt pressured by other offices where they recommended a lot of additional procedures that aren't 100% necessary. By contrast, I felt that all recommendations by Dr. Ganong and Lia were done with my best interest in mind, and they even told me which things they thought were more urgent to address if I didn't want to get everything done at once. While I was politely encouraged to change some dental hygiene habits, I was never shamed for anything (which may be a small thing to some, but for me was really appreciated). Overall, I definitely recommended this team if you have any anxiety about going the dentist. Their friendliness, expertise and clear interest in your comfort was everything I could hope for in a new dental practice. I only wish I found them sooner!

Positive experience: I am one of of those old-timers who did not get the memo on the objective criteria for giving a Star rating in the range of 1 to 5. Surely there is an internet abbreviation or at least a Meme for people like me. How I feel about an experience seems of little value to others, yet you ask me to make a decision on number of stars, and the disclaimer says my post will be made public and used by all sorts of web analytics. I feel I am living in medieval Europe where Christianity (Catholicism prior to the bifurcation) reigns, but I am not convinced of its truth or efficacy. But I (and my family) must live within the social norms or pay penalties of ostracism and worse because society is so fragile it demands behavioral compliance in many aspects. So all these years later are we still on the edge of oblivion so that homage must be paid by rating things on a good-bad scale with no other dimensions? Our society is very much polarized and rating things on scales like this reinforce that dichotomy. But perhaps the population of our democratic society is 80% individuals who are only capable of evaluating along one criterion. If that is the case, this simplistic instrument makes some sense. Giving the surveyor "the benefit of the doubt" (a poetic phrase - I should look up its origins) I will give this service a rating of 3, based on the wisdom of the Tao -do not be too far to one side or the other. Relevant (in my mind) data from my visit - the office dispensed their services effectively, in a pleasant manner, and I am grateful the owner assembled such a talented team, and I hope they will service my teeth in the future. People need services to their teeth (in this life) and I thank those in the office who got up and came into work today to fix many mouths, including mine.

Fantastic experience: It was great to see Jordan for my regular cleaning today. She's an intuitive dental hygienist who knows how to put clients at ease. My family & I have been going to Arvada Dental Excellence for 10+ years and Dr. Jason Ganong and staff have taken care of us thru routine cleanings, Invisalign, referrals for traditional orthodonitia and wisdom teeth, and more. Their new space is incredible -- warm and inviting, treatment rooms with natural light and consulting rooms for more private discussions.

Fantastic experience: I’m pretty scared of the dentist…had a broken tooth and they took the best care of me!! No pain AT ALL!! It was faster than expected and the dentist and hygienist were the BEST!! Highly recommend!!

Fantastic experience: Was a great experience. Answered all my questions. Never a moment of being rushed. Tiffany was a God send. So accommodating. I felt they were concerned about my situation. No pressure whatsoever. I have had 4 consultations, Arvada Dental made me feel so comfortable. I definitely using their services. Had the surgey went well. I have to say, I had no pain at all. Now I can't say if things are going as I have nothing to compare with. I am concerned about the temporary teeth. I have put them in nothing matches up. I They say I have swelling. I have an appointment on 9th of November. Should know more then Got my temporary teeth. Had them for a couple days called for an appointment as they would not stay in. They more or less said I would have to live without the bottoms fitting properly. Overall I am very satisfied with the care I have received. Everyone so upbeat, they all seem to enjoy what they are doing. I am going to go to another oral surgeon to see if anything can be done about the temporary teeth staying in. I first have to apologize, for. Some reason I had in my head that it was at 1:30. Sure hope I didn't disrupt your flow.. Thanks for seeing me. Great staff so professional. Services are always great. My only drawback is I started thinking they were drageging it out. I still feelthat way but some progre made is happening. It is going to be close to a year befor my permanent ones. Would I uset this place again . Iwould have time line explained in more detail
