Negative experience: Teeth cleaning took 9 minutes. Was not seen by a dentists and didn't use fluoride on my kids teeth because they didn’t know if it was covered by insurance, and last time they gave it to me so I could do it at home. The wait is longer than actually getting any work or cleaning done.

I’m always one to be super anxious at the dentist office, and unfortunately forgot my stress ball at home, but it turned out that I didn’t even need one! The dentist office is bright and clean and has pleasant decor. I never have to wait long to be seen. Additionally they have fresh baked cookies for their patients which always is such a sweet treat. They have a friendly staff and that always makes me look forward to coming back.

Negative experience: Hygienists and dentists are skilled and friendly … However some(one) receptionist are/is rude impolite disrespectful unhelpful and unsympathetic to a patient … this staff needs performance review if not fired … can’t name her coz she doesn’t wear a name badge or even introduced herself but I’ll take a photo next time By the way I love the view of the golf course on their backyard … Overall this dental clinic is great it’s just receptionists need to be reminded of customer service skills and their attitude

Fantastic experience: Dr. Green was amazing! He has great personal skills with patients. I often joke and make light of situations and he was able to keep up. I was a new patient and he went over all potential issues that would arise but did not pressure me into having those procedures. I needed jaw therapy and he explained the process in depth, worked with his staff to discuss payment costs and did not pressure me into going forward. I decided to go ahead with the jaw therapy! It was painful but he was accommodating and stopped when needed. After one treatment I already felt results. He also didn’t pressure me into coming back if it was not needed. I was seen about 30 minutes after my scheduled time but other staff kept coming in and checking on me. That was fine because he gave me my first jaw treatment immediately so I am sure that pushed his schedule back. I scheduled my second session of jaw therapy! I’m happy with the change in dentist!

Fantastic experience: I'll preface this by saying, I have had horrible experiences with going to a dentist in the past. I've managed so well with not having major work throughout a majority of my adulthood the idea of a crown petrified me. Dr. Olczack (sorry if I murdered that) not only did phenomenal on making sure I was comfortable, I felt NOTHING. He stopped to check in on me knowing my experiences, explained everything thoroughly and ensured I was comfortable. His staff was just as exceptional in care, knowledge and creating such a better experience overall. I love the front desk worker, she has an infectious smile and is always so bubbly. The office is clean, progressive in dental care and I feel more like I'm preparing to get a massage then the buzz buzz of a drill. My son had an exceptionally better experience as well and is not afraid of the dentist, not to mention they've really encouraged him to be better with his dental hygiene. Bedside manner is top notch! (If that is a term in the dental world). The staff engage each other professionally and respectfully they seem to really enjoy what they do. Positive atmosphere and very clean. Highly recommend.

I saw Dr O, and he was amazing, just as Dr Edwards is at Gatesville Clinic. The staff at both offices are fantastic. I don’t enjoy going to the dentist, but both Dr Edwards and O are fantastic. Very patient, explain everything they are doing and why. Highly recommend Acre Wood Dental at Gatesville and Temple offices.

I was greeted immediately upon entry to the building, checked in and shown to a comfortable and stylish waiting area with drinks and refreshments. I was seen at my appointment time (no extra waiting which I really appreciate). Vanessa did my X-rays and scheduled my followup cleaning in 6 months, she was very friendly and professional throughout. Felicia did my gum testing and cleaning and was easily the best dental hygienist I have ever seen - thorough but gentle and fun to talk to. Dr Olzack was great, fixed a quick bump on one of my teeth that has been bothering me and offered some preventative maintenance options. All in all this is the best dentist office I have ever been to!

They took X-rays and did all the standard first-visit procedures, plus a regular cleaning. The hygienist was so gentle and gave clear directions throughout the process, which made everything go smoothly. What really stood out was how she made sure I didn’t feel overwhelmed by the water syringe—unlike other places where I leave soaking wet. That attention to detail made a big difference! I’m terrible with names, but just know the entire team at Acre Wood is great. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Acre Dental for almost 10 years and I love them. I have been to many dentists over the years and have always hated them. Everyone is so friendly and comforting (even new people), especially if I am in pain or have a problem. The prices have to be the best in town. I trust when they quote me a price, that that is the best price. I have been over charged due to insurance issues, but all the money was put into my account and I havent had to pay for Dental care for a while. Since they changed their hours, I don't think I can think of a con. They used to be closed on Fridays and now they are open. The remodel has also made the entire office just amazing and comforting. I 10 out of 10 recommend.
