Negative experience: I recently had a trip for a routine cleaning. I was told from my dental hygienist (Karie) that there is a 10 minute window to arrive when making the appointment otherwise it would be canceled. So I called ahead of time and informed the office that I would be running 10 minutes late - I was told it was ok, I so drove 30 minutes to your location. I arrived at 11:08A and by the time I walked from my car and got to the front desk to be checked in it was 11:11A. Karie saw me and said that I was too late and they couldn't see me. So the only solution was that I had to reschedule. In other words - who cares if we wasted your time. I've had a lot of work done at your location with no issue seeing Dr Moore over last 4-5 years and I have no balance due. This whole thing could of been avoided if I was properly informed during my initial call when I said I was running late, that it would of been better to just reschedule. You lost my business and I will also promote to others to not go to your location throughout social media.

Fantastic experience: I knew within 10 minutes that this was the practice for me having just moved from out of town. The person who treated (Rachelle) me represented the practice quite well. Off of the strength of her care, I can say with confidence that this is my new dentist! When I relayed this to the dentist himself, his response further solidified that this was the type of place and people I want poking sharp things in my mouth! Four years later and the hygienist I have continues to provide the greatest bedside manner. As soon as I sat down, she asked about my children and the things that they were GOING to do the last time I visited 6 months ago. She remembered that and followed up! That's amazing!

Negative experience: Made and confirmed my appointment at the time I made the appointment while I was in the office personally during my last visit. Dental office arbitrarily cancelled my appointment because I did not confirm a text message. I am busy with work and kids and when I make appointments I check to confirm I am available when the appointment is made. Horrible policy for a business to have and they wasted my time which I will be deducting from any future services. I will most likely be finding a new dentist.

Fantastic experience: Came in as a new patient recently and I'm glad I chose this local business vs a national chain dentist. They were professional, knowledgeable, and kind. The cleaning was quick and painless and they answered any and all questions and concerns I had. AND I GOT MY GUMS TREATED WITH A LASER! HOW COOL IS THAT?! It has been many years since I've been to a dentist and they got me back on track for regular cleanings.

Fantastic experience: As always the facility was in good order. It was clean. The staff was exceptional from the initial meet and greet yesterday. The hygienist was nice, knowledgeable and very welcoming. This was my first with this hygienist. She was very confident with exceptional communication skills and there is Dr. Moore with the cherry on top. She is the best at her craft and keeps it all the real. She tells you the good, bad and ugly and let you digest the information. She is not pushy and definitely care about her patients.

Fantastic experience: On a Wing, a Prayer… and a Perfect Bite! I don’t know where to begin except to say—Army strong, hooah! I’ve had an implant in place for 16 years from my time on active duty, and recently needed another due to a sneaky cavity under the gumline (who knew?). But here's the kicker—no one could tell me what kind of implant system I had from back in the day. I even called the B.O.L.D. dental clinic at Fort Lee… and nothing in the notes. Nada. Negative experience: The office is nicely renovated, but here’s an important detail to share. I became a patient about six months ago and had a great first visit, including a cleaning and everything you’d expect. However, when I started experiencing severe pain and couldn’t sleep for nearly two nights, I called the office to request an emergency dental visit. It was a Tuesday, and they called back to tell me the earliest available appointment was the following Monday — five days later. That was the best they could offer. Unfortunately, that kind of delay during a dental emergency is unacceptable. Thank you for asking me to suffer for five days. Never again.

Positive experience: Overall my experience with them was very good. Made me feel comfortable and answered all the questions I asked as well as they could. Even helped me not have pain when I left. I will say though after a few days from seeing them I formed lock jaw for a couple of days but really didn’t feel well about it. I’ve had it before but the way I felt this time I knew something was off. I called them and told them how I felt what was going on and I personally felt they just dusted it off as normal instead of trying to see me to see how serious it could’ve gotten. Later that night I just didn’t feel so hot and still in pain after all the meds I’m taking. Goto the hospital and they were happy I came in when I did because I had a terrible abscess that could’ve gotten really worse. The infection spread and the doctor said bathing like this could lead to being septic and he was disappointed the dentist didn’t truly follow up just for precaution. I will say I was in a lot of pain so yes I will say I was tense and that’s why I had lockjaw and it was a bad infection and it might have taken a while to stop the pain but I wish I would’ve been seen by them to confirm my safety. Aside from that I did love how they seemed like they treated all guests like family and was a positive team! I would say I’d go back but I feel I’d bug them with a lot of questions and more reassurance just from this previous experience!

Fantastic experience: My 1st visit was an Awakening.The 2nd visit was the best cleaning I've ever had. Never knew My teeth could look+feel so clean.My previous Dentistry I had been going to since I was little had not been doing My teeth justice. The whole Crew here was truly caring+concerned

Negative experience: I went to Dental care of Lake Wylie due to a composite bonded tooth that needed to be worked on. They recommended that I get a crown on that tooth. About a month ago, they did my crown and put the temporary on, and then about two weeks ago they put my permanent crown on. I noticed about a week later after they did my permanent crown, I started having excruciating pain in the tooth and the surrounding teeth of the one they put the crown on. They even told me when I came in for my temporary crown that my teeth looked great on the x-ray and that they were still healthy. When I went back for the terrible pain I was having, they did no scans whatsoever and just tapped my teeth and put a cold block on it and told me I needed a root canal and referred me somewhere else, leaving me in terrible pain and on my own to call the periodontist and work out arrangements with them. I ended up going to a periodontist and the periodontist did a scan and said that there was definitely a problem with my x ray and that I needed an emergency root canal. When the periodontist did the root canal he said there was blood and pus everywhere and that I had a bad infection. Well now it is 5 days later and I still have excruciating pain and sensitivity to temperatures not only in the tooth that had the root canal but in the surrounding teeth as well. The worst part is, now the periodontist doesn’t know what’s going on and he is now referring me to an endodontist. This 100% stems from the treatment I received when they did my crown at dental care of lake Wylie and now i am paying thousands and thousands of dollars to fix the issues they caused. BEWARE OF THIS PRACTICE

Positive experience: Dental hygienists there are amazing. However I had a dental guard made last year and it has never fit right. Spent 500$ on it, had it adjusted 2x and was told that I probably did not tell them what I wanted. No offer to have it made again. I guess I am out 500$?

Negative experience: My daughter had an appointment she is 17 so they emailed me a consent form. I filled it out and emailed it back the day before she went. Sent it to the main email and to the lady that sent it to me. She gets there they do not have it. So they give me another email to send it to. Sent it to that one they said they didn’t have it. Had to text it to them. She goes back front desk calls and tells me she needs a deep clean gingivitis treatment due to plaque build up…. I asked them just to do a normal clean because the insurance would not cover it. They refused to clean her teeth without it. I said well how much would it be and she was rude!! She said it would be $100.00 deductible so not sure how much this treatment was… I said nevermind you can cancel my appointment too…. We will be finding a new dentist. Also my daughter called crying because she said they were rude and made her feel bad.

Fantastic experience: Dr Stall and Bailey are great! I had an appnt last Thursday, I was nervous and they were both there for me. Dr Stall explains everything before he starts working on you. Bailey is right there to make sure you are ok. Lake Wylie Family Denistry is the best!!

Fantastic experience: Very professional and friendly. I took my 12 year old and he was made to feel comfortable. The staff was friendly and I was not rushed. My appointment was at 10 and we started on time. Left in 45 minutes which included, X-rays a cleaning and consultation for braces. Would recommend to a friend. Update: went this week for myself- Still no wait time, very friendly and organized staff. Dr. Moore was very kind, patient and friendly. The team is not in a rush to get you out, rather they want to make sure you have the information you need to make good decisions for your dental health. Would still recommend to a friend!

Fantastic experience: My dentist did an amazing job with the injection as I didn’t even feel it. The filling went great as well considering it was in a difficult spot with me having cable retainers. I have recommended her to a few of my friends.

Negative experience: I was scheduled for a cleaning, The front office was nice, although I was treated very rudely by the hygienist Very unprofessional Refused to do a normal cleaning Said I needed a deep cleaning Told me a “normal cleaning is me brushing my teeth at home” I left went to a periodontist Who said I didn’t need a deep cleaning And I got the best normal cleaning ever!!! But if you want to be treated like a consumer instead of a patient… This is the place to go!
