Fantastic experience: my whole life my dental experiences have not been fun, but coming to this office, and feeling supported and cared for makes dental work easier to get through. Thank you Dr Shor for your kindness and expertise, thank you Yinet for your patience and perfection, and Amari you radiate light and im so thankful that my teeth are in the best hands they could be in.

Fantastic experience: I can not say enough good things about this practice. Everyone is very welcoming and friendly. They attend to you at your scheduled time and service is quick. I would like to give a special big THANK YOU to the hygienist Nadia. I am petrified of the dentist due to a traumatic experience I had as a child and as soon as Nadia called me into the room she noticed my fear without me having to say a word and right away put me at ease and continued to explain everything she was doing step by step as well as made small talk in order to keep me relaxed. I am very appreciative of Nadia’s kind demeanor and am very happy I made the decision to go to Bella Dental (so much so, I have already made appointments for my husband and my two girls as well). Thank you to all for the good experience!

Fantastic experience: Dr Shor is professional, caring, & kind. I had to have a tooth extracted and he checked in with me every few minutes as he was working on me making sure I was OK and comforting me. Everyone from the front desk staff, assistants, and office manager are wonderful!

Fantastic experience: Went for a crown, was impressed on how the process went from the temp crown, (which I would have been happy with) to the permanent porcelain crown that fit flawlessly. Was honestly afraid of having this procedure from being old school, but it wasn't as bad as I expected. I liked that the dentist explained the procedure while working on me and was telling me what to expect as work was being done. Its like driving with navigation, you know where your going but you need the visual to get you there...

Fantastic experience: I was in need of emergency care and Bella was so helpful. The dentist on call was caring and honest, the office staff couldn't be more helpful. They didn't want to take a chance on correcting my situation but took the time and patience to find me referrals.

Fantastic experience: Front desk staff were very accommodating, kind, and professional. My initial first impression of the waiting area was it is tidy, clean, and appears modern. Plenty of seats. I called for an appointment on Saturday and they were able to accommodate me for the next Tuesday. A lot of places are booked for weeks. Nadia was the hygienist that took care of me. She is very considerate, courteous, and calming. Dr. Shor then came in and was direct and deliberate with the plan for my dental care. Lisa was amazing as well. She was very prompt with booking my procedure with another local oral surgeon office and got me an appointment that same week. She's incredibly efficient. Overall as a new patient to this office I'm extremely pleased with my experience and look forward to my next appt in 3 weeks.

Fantastic experience: Everyone I came in contact with at Bella. Dental was extremely professional and very nice.

Negative experience: I had a crown done a Bella on my left lower side and I had pain that I reported to them for over a year. After a few visits they told me my tooth in front to it had a fracture so they needed to put a crown on that as well. My new dentist said that the original crown was oversized. That could be the reason I have a gum pocket.

Fantastic experience: The entire staff at Bella Dental are a pleasure to be treated by. My last visit was for 2 implants, back teeth. I didn't feel anything except some pressure. And they explain everything and are very caring from check in to completion of the procedure.

Fantastic experience: Warm and welcoming front desk reception. Terrific gentle cleaning by Carly. Was seen by Dr. Kavendek who has a wonderful manner, and who was extremely sensitive to my issues. In the process of getting my treatment, she was gentle considerate, and a perfectionist, making sure I was pleased with the outcome which I was. Dr. Kavendek is remarkable. I am so grateful to have found her and this practice. Additionally, her dental assistant, Ashley was so comforting and professional as well. I appreciate both of them. I highly recommend this dental practice to all.

Fantastic experience: I have been very happy with the services of Bella Dental. Recently, I had 6 caps placed on my upper front teeth. From the taking of the impressions, the preparation of the teeth, the temporaries to the final caps, I couldn't be happier. The entire staff from front desk to the staff that fitted the temporaries and prepared the final product for insertion by Dr. Shor - were simply outstanding! My hat is to this professional staff. I will happily continue to be a patient at Bella Dental.

Fantastic experience: I'm not a one who's in the habit of writing reviews. But I needed a emergency tooth extraction. I called Bella Dental for their help not having a prior appointment. In less than 5 hours my problem was solved. The staff was very friendly and the Doctor was just great beautiful experience. Lastly I just want to mention I have a primary dentist but if anyone that needs an extraction I would highly recommend Bella you would definitely not be Regretful. Franklin Henderson

Fantastic experience: The ladies at reception are very friendly and welcoming.I am observant and critical of customer service, especially poor service, that is not the case her. Dr Shore is my dentist. He takes the extra time to explain your issue and feels when you are unsure of what he has explained. He doesn’t leave the room until he knows you are satisfied with the decision. Very honest and gives you options. Until that changes I will give them 5 stars.

At all 3 visits this year, she has shared with me some very effective flossing and brushing techniques. She has always been attentive and warm. Fantastic experience: No one likes going to Dentist however I did not have to waite long and the Dentist and assistant were polite friendly and caring!! Today's procedure went very well(5 stars)!! Until I was checking out and told I needed to pay full amount owed today!!! I live on a fixed income. I do not have almost $1,400 to pay at once!! In past I was paying $250 a month and paid my complete bill off!!! I was never advised policy changed and the cost of work being done would have to paid in the full in the amount of work done that day!!! The office manager was not in therefore I paid $250. I received a call later in day and was told there is a program that I can apply for and I will do that on Friday!! All in all your Dentist work is EXCELLENT however not your business practices!!!

She was also great with my three year old daughter and made her first experience so positive. Nadia took some xrays and pictures of the trouble areas for the dentist to review. She also made some helpful recommendations. A welcome addition to your team!

He is very good at his job and he wants what’s best for you. Don’t give up If you think your tooth is not salvageable,. Dr. Shor loves rescuing those poor teeth. It’s his mission to save it and get as he says „as much milage out of it as possible”. You are in good hands! The Bella dental assistants - Jenna and Maria are also amazing! My appointment yesterday was to have one of my wisdom teeth extracted, Kayla could not have done a better job preparing me for my procedure, she is wonderful. Fantastic experience: First of all , let it be known that this establishment is extremely professional . Nobody truly enjoys going to see a Dentist , but once you walk in you realize how comfortable the staff makes you feel by greeting you with a smile . I can’t say enough over much time Kim the receptionist took to get my insurance issues resolved !!! My experience in the chair was overwhelming since Kayla the dental assistant put me at ease . Then Dr. Cernenello came in and after reviewing the X-rays , took the time to explain exactly what the procedure would entail . From the time I walked , till the time I walked , I felt as though there was more that could have been done to make any happier that I chose Bella Dental !!!

Fantastic experience: What a wonderful practice. I needed a tooth pulled asap. I called at noon and they found an opening in one of their three offices! I would have had to wait weeks either way my current provider. Very efficiently run. Wonderful staff.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Shor and his staff certainly know how to make you feel comfortable and welcome as soon as you step into the office. They are all very personable and very knowledgeable and good at what they do. I was quite nervous about getting crowns on the entire top part of my mouth, but I was instantly reassured and walked out with the smile of a lifetime. I no longer have to cover my mouth when I smile, but can now smile with confidence and make the world smile with me. They are all wonderful and I can't thank them enough for what they have done for me. Having had some recent oral surgery performed by Dr. Greenstein, I was pleasantly surprised at the rapid diagnosis, procedure, and great results. Once again the staff was very professional, yet made me feel at ease. The office and the staff are top notch. I'm very grateful for all they have done for me. This afternoon I called t h e office with a painful problem. I was told to come right in. I did so and Dr. Shor and members of his staff worked on me and all went well. Bella Dental is a very caring and conscientious group of professionals and I am very grateful to be in their care.

Positive experience: I was on time for my appointment and had to wait 25 minutes until my name was called. I’ve had issues in the past where they didn’t determine what is and what isn’t covered by insurance and provide that information to the patient, before the service is done. The patient should know what the possible costs are before service is done. Customer service can improve to give us a better experience.

He explained everything in advance, answered all my questions, often checked how I was doing during the procedure, and let me know what to expect as we went along. That was a surprise and very much appreciated. Thanks. Original review: My dentist was fine. The front desk and cleaning experience was bad, and I'm stuck with a massive bill I didn't expect. The front desk schedules cleaning at the same time as you're having work done. I had two different appointments for fillings, and during each appointment, my dentist had to leave me in the chair halfway through filling so they could meet with someone who had a cleaning scheduled at the same time. I'd understand a one off, but this happened both times. So if you’re squeamish about drilling, getting numbed, or having equipment left in your mouth for longer than necessary, go elsewhere. The front desk also claimed I wouldn't get a full cleaning because I was two minutes late my very first time in the office. I was signing the paperwork and someone told me to leave it, tried to pull it out of my hands, then barreled down the hallway leaving me at the front. Then I received the harshest cleaning I’ve ever had. I also cannot for the life of me to get the front desk to understand my husband and I have different phone numbers and handle our accounts separately. I just got an unexpected bill from Bella Dental, and my husband's work is included with my work, which I've never experienced from any other medical provider. I think there is a problem with insurance, which the front desk assured me multiple times was all cleared and taken care of, but for Christmas this year I received a $1k bill. There's some serious disconnect happening, and I'm 95% sure I won't be back because of it. I literally called no less than 5 times before my appointment to ensure things were cleared with insurance for both myself and my husband. My actual dentist, however, was fine when they were actually around to do the work, hence 2 stars. The owner only responds to good reviews with a thank you and ignores everything else. So you’re only valued if you have no problems. No one seems to be able to help when you do have issues. Not the warm, professional team there are so many reviews about.

Fantastic experience: Busy but super organized, clean, new, well-equipped office space. I never have to wait more than 10 minutes. Good communication, record-keeping and a generous dental discount plan (I have no dental insurance plan) make me feel very confident whenever I visit Bella Dental. I've seen several doctors here, mostly Dr. Shor, and all the staff always listen to my wishes and answer all my questions so that I understand the what's and why's of my care. I like that.

Fantastic experience: I went to Bella’s Dental in Holmdel and was greeted by two friendly receptionist that checked me right in. The dentist was gentle doing my check up. The hygienist, Heidi was extremely gentle and made me feel very comfortable during the cleaning process. I have not been to the dentist since Covid and Heidi was able to remove my tartar buildup. Negative experience: Teeth cleaning was the roughest I ever had. I never bled so much and I only was able to wash out at the end. The utensils were not wiped during the cleaning and the mirror was pushed into my gums with much pain. The other person that cleaned my teeth the last few times was excellent.

Fantastic experience: I am thrilled that I chose Bella Dental over all others I researched. I had 2 teeth extracted today which I thought would be a terrible experience. I want to thank all of you at the Holmdel office, in order of appearance, Kayla, Lisa and of course Dr. Cermanello. I had unfortunately avoided going to a dentist for a very long time. That is now a thing of the past, due entirely to the incredibly warm, welcoming atmosphere at Bella Dental, putting me immediately at ease. Fantastic experience: OK. I'm all about fair play. If I have a negative experience for services rendered I inform the public to pay it forward But if I have a positive experience I follow the same pay it forward approach I just left Bella dental and Carly the hygienist I have to say was the most thorough and gentle with my cleaning and the only time in over 30 years did I also get my teeth glossed by a hygienist! Wow I can't believe what a 160 degree difference on Mt first visit to Bella Dental and to receive such a high calibre cleaning no offense shocked me in such a positive way. It's clearly evident if u have a negative experience here bring it to the supervisor's attention and they will aggressively rectify the issue with a professional reassuring way and based on my experience they just don't say empty words. They back it up which I'm beyond relieved. Bottom line u want a thorough and gentle cleaning request Carly. That will guarantee u a stressless cleaning and I'm all about based on my nightmare childhood experiences with dentist offices back in the day I felt I needed to post this on principle Ok. I once again needed to add this on principle I had a very stressful situation and to keep it short Lindsey swooped and honestly based on her actions invented compassion. I wound up having a very stubborn sinus infection that was wreaking havoc and I was having a hard time with best course of action and possibly needing a entomologist and I couldn't get it resolved if my life depended on it. I was freaking out and Lindsey was unbelievable. Her kindness and compassion made a unbelievable situation alot more tolerable and not once did she let my over the top anxiety attack impact her approach. Soft spoken and just amazing. Well received and beyond appreciated. Any issues that u can't resolve request her and problem solved bottom line My thanks for bella dental having a employee of her high calibre

Fantastic experience: The best! I have a disease that affects my speech and balance, Bella Dental makes me feel before I had the disease. They are compassionate and respectful and are excellent doctors. I would recommend them to everyone!

Negative experience: I went to Holmdel office for a tooth extraction. The dentist struggled with pulling my tooth and ended up ripping my gums and chipping a tooth next to extracted tooth. I felt like I was at a McDonalds. Bella gave me fast food vibes. I think I have dry socket now. The pain is really bad. I have a follow up today at 9. Im scared to go back. A totally botched extraction. It cost me over $1000. The worst dental experience ever. .

Fantastic experience: I usually see Dr Alkon who is wonderful. However, for today’s procedure I saw Dr Shor who put me at ease and with his caring assistant Jeanette provided a painless and successful root canal with a post and cap. I highly recommend Bella Dental.

Fantastic experience: After oral surgery, my upper denture was inserted and fit poorly, however my dentist has adjusted my temp denture so it more closely fits my mouth. This will be followed with 6+ weeks of healing before I decide whats next in permanent replacement. My confidence in Bella Dental is restored.
